This place is your one stop shop for everything. Not just because it’s the only place to shop on the sea ranch but they literally have everything and provide an Ubër-wide range of services. Super friendly, Chris and Stacy are some of the most helpful people you’ll ever meet.
More a contractor than household supply, I can still find most of what I need to keep my sea ranch house in good fit from tools to hardware to glues to lumber to electrical. They are very friendly and helpful and will special order anything they don’t have.

Just had to give this place a solid review. Just got back into playing guitar again and took my guitar in for their tuning service. Walked in, greeted and took care of very quickly and efficiently. Came to pick my guitar up and Billy helped me and went above and beyond he noticed a slight issue with the sound fixed it on the spot was so nice and helpful. Billy is the man! Extremely knowledgeable and Guitar now sounds and plays better than ever! Answered all my questions so throughly! Absoulte soild A+ service and will definitely be back for any guitar needs. If you need anything music related go here they take care of their customers very well!

So, I’ve been in here twice since I’ve moved from East Bay to Rohnert Park last year. On both separate occasions the staff watches me like I’m going to steal every item in the store somehow. Very, very, very uncomfortable to look up and have every worker in the store staring at you from across the room, yet not one word of helpfulness or a ‘hi’ or anything. I wont be stepping foot in ‘this boy’s club again’.
They’d rather make $50 or so than lose a customer and get a negative feedback. Not sure that’s a winning business strategy in the long run, but best of luck.

Adorable bookstore with a helpful staff and a good selection. We stopped here on vacation and made some purchases and walked away very happy.
What a relaxed and well stocked bookstore will do for your peace of mind is inestimable. Kindly owner, wifi and an excellent selection of cards adds to the charm.

Really small store, instruments are (mostly) fairly priced (lots of used & refurbished) but parts & accessories are kind of expensive.
Nice little place with several items to choose from. Jim, the owner, is very knowledgeable and can provide lessons and repair.
I have been a guitar player for years…strings and things has it all!!! Jim is a very nice guy and knows a lot. I love the small town feel in his store!!!!
I found Jim to be cold and disinterested, borderline hostile unfortunately. I order the strings he has never heard of online. Jim appears to be a bit of a fence. I would question the provenance of an instrument from this shop. The music shoppe from a Stephen King film.

Epperson Music is Rad! I found my favorite ukulele yet! It is a beautiful acoustic/electric. Cory is also such a kind and chill person. Very helpful. Reasonable prices. Check it out!
Fantastic owner and great business! I was looking into buying a guitar there but didn’t like the way it played so he lowered the action, oiled the frets and replaced the strings for me! I came in the next day and it played so much better and smoother so I bought it!

Totally love Anabel’s. I’m not one to shop consignment stores however Anabel’s almost every time I walk in there has clothing, shoes and jewlery I want. I have scored brand new Blunstone boots, Wilt tee shirts, amazing cashmere sweaters and a Cartier ring. She has an eye and is always finding amazing merchandise for her sweet store. She is a don’t miss in Gualala!

Disclaimer: I didn’t stay in the hotel. My family and I were in a VRBO nearby but made a pit stop in between hikes for a glass of wine and hot chocolate. I was afraid the lodge was going to be kitschy, but was very surprised by the decor and general store—best in Sea Ranch and Gualala. They had a great selection of wine, snacks, coffee table books, notecards, and more. The coffee shop was great and open until late afternoon with great views. Would recommend for a quick stop!

the space is wonderful, very pretty modernist design with a beautiful view, but the food is really lacking (flavor, uniqueness, freshness), especially at the price point.

I rated 2 stars because of the location, and beautiful philosophy of Sea Ranch, otherwise, it’d be a 1 for The Sea Ranch Lodge itself. After years of waiting for its re-opening, I was disappointed. The Lodge experience is not what it used to be. It now hosts weddings, so when we stayed, the wedding had the Lodge’s full attention, while the rest of the guests were left in the back burner. It was difficult to find seating to enjoy the views, and the room wasn’t properly cleaned. To top it off, we felt discriminated against. All in all, The Sea Ranch Lodge experience is no longer what it used to be, and we no longer felt welcomed or treated right. I recommend a visit to Sea Ranch for its preserved natural beauty, but I will no longer recommend guests to stay at The Sea Ranch Lodge. It’s not worth the cost for the service and experience we received.
