It’s always a great time when I go listen to Lauren and the fellas of The People’s Key! They’re one of the few bands I’ll go out of my way to see in Summit County, and they never disappoint. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
The People’s Key is an amazing local band who play great music that ensures a fun time for all!! Don’t miss an opportunity to see them play!
I’ve seen The People’s Key at both Highside and Angry James.. Their set was lively and engaging with a great selection of songs. Can’t wait to catch them again.
3. Affordable Music
Address: 104 Village Pl, Dillon, CO 80435 , Silverthorne , Colorado , United States
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fair prices.
I’ve heard good things about it but I was upstairs at pug Ryan’s bar
Great store, lots of music, plenty of stringed instruments.
Limited selection, average prices
Owner is a racist. He harassed my friend for shopping while black , four times AFTER he bought a CD. We went outside and had to show the police his recite.
Great place to shop if you are worried someone is impersonating you. Don’t shop there if you are black, he might call the cops.
Terrible customer service. Was out of town for a wedding – asked about return policy and he went on a rant about him being a small business and how he would only give store credit. He was very condescending and unprofessional
Sells broken products. Very expensive.
4. House of Vibes Coffee and Curio
Address: 191 Blue River Pkwy, Silverthorne, CO 80498 , Silverthorne , Colorado , United States
The best coffee shop in Summit County. Amazing coffee, amazing vibes, and the owners and staff are the best!
GORGEOUS place. Great vibes. Delicious drinks. Highly recommend!
Best latte I’ve had in Colorado!
Great atmosphere, good coffee
Pastries were great. Coffee was mediocre. Quaint, trendy study spot with eclectic and new age decor.
Beautiful coffee shop! Loved all the curiosities and art. Good coffee and excellent breakfast sandwiches! Average vibes and service though
Tbh it’s just like every other cafe up here but still decent!
Stood there for 5-10 minutes and no one greeted me.
Made an online order for two sandwiches and it took over 40 minutes to get them. Waited over 30 min in store to grab two breakfast sandwiches. If sundays and saturdays function like this the process needs to be adjusted. Not a great first impression from a local trying a new spot out.
5. Red Buffalo Coffee & Tea
Address: 358 Blue River Pkwy, Silverthorne, CO 80498 , Silverthorne , Colorado , United States
Quant coffee shop with great coffee and tea selections. Fresh pasteries and delicious breakfast options.
Great coffee.
Love this place! Homey but sophisticated. Their coffee is a lot more delicious than at the chains. Sweet spot of Silverthorne!
Great oat milk latte. Fairly busy. Great service!
A little morning love to start the day .
Chill place for some morning Joe and the newspaper. Small farm coffee’s roasted to perfection Yum!
Really didn’t do much here but check it out
How about lifting a finger and putting your hours on your Google My Business page-when you care enough to do that I will care enough to give you a good review.
Great streamside seating, average service, average coffee.
Out of espresso blend……..AGAIN! Last time I will be “trying” to buy espresso here.
6. Big Hollow Guitars
Address: 152 Meridian Loop, Frisco, CO 80443 , Silverthorne , Colorado , United States
Absolutely awesome! My acoustic needed a neck adjustment. I called Wednesday afternoon. I had a gig on Friday and needed the guitar to be fixed. He got it done that day. He builds beautiful guitars. Played me a beautiful song. Wonderful experience. Great guy.
Amazing customer service!
Bevon is a fantastic builder and awesome guy. I always take my Northfield mandolin and Bourgeois guitar to him for any fixes or just to check the set up and make sure everything is looking good and feeling good before busy weekends playing shows.
Big Hollow Guitars are so beautiful and meticulously built. I’m blessed to have such a knowledgeable builder right here in Summit County.
This is someone’s house in a neighborhood and not a music or guitar store. Many home (music) businesses sneak their way onto Google maps and it wastes the time and money of people who need to purchase something quickly in a store.
If it is not a storefront, it should not be on Google maps because people waste their time navigating to places which they cannot enter, despite the location being advertised as a location you can drive to, and “open.” I needed picks and strings.
To the owner:
You should advertise this business on appropriate channels like social media and Google Search. Not Google Maps because you are not a storefront. Is your home zoned as a business location? That is what you are communicating with this time wasting listing. Good luck.
7. ReSaddled Thrift Store
Address: 252 Warren Ave, Silverthorne, CO 80497 , Silverthorne , Colorado , United States
Found some awesome stuff! The lady working the front desk was very nice and helpful!
Found some great deals and the customer service was awesome. It was our 1st time there and the cashier gave us a tour of the store. Would definitely come back if in the area.
It’s nice but a bit high priced for a thrift store
Nice selection and friendly staff. Wish they were located in a better location with more changing stations
Muy bello
Super disappointed in this store. They overcharge CRAZY for everything. I understand times are hard, but this place is proud to call itself a charity. ??? WAY OVERPRICED!!!
They hardly accept donations even though they are full of 80s and 90s merchandise and some horrible OLD OUT OF DATE CLOTHING. take the donations!!!! move the merch through your store and update.
Someone should look into this charity. Must be profiting hand over fist. Pure profit. They should give a little back to their community in the form of reasonable prices. It’s the same community that gives you all your merchandise for free anyway. GREEDY CROOKS.
Although there’s some good stuff, their prices can be absurd. Note the pic with the original price tag of 13 brand new and their tag of 25.
We arrived 4:30 and they didn’t let us in so they could leave early.
8. Groove Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram of Silverthorne
Address: 171 9th St, Silverthorne, CO 80498 , Silverthorne , Colorado , United States
Great service and really helpful. They walked me through the parts I needed for a specific upgrade for my Jeep. They did the work, and even figured out that I could get away with a cheaper option, and they took care of everything. The work was on-time, under-budget and executed perfectly.
Took my truck to this dealership for service and met Sharon in the service department. She was knowledgeable and extremely professional dealing with my warranty company. We had issues getting the company to pay for an obvious issue and she handled it better than I would have imagined.
I’ll be returning to this shop in the next couple weeks and look forward to working with the service department in the future. Estimates were as expected from a dealership and timeliness was expected, as it is a pandemic as well as a FREE inspection. Thanks Sharon!
Very friendly people. Fantastic experience. Thank you for helping me get my dream car. Love my Jeep!
Called earlier in the day to make an appointment for an oil change but the employee didn’t share the information that only one service department (the Subaru side) is open so had to get out and go inside to ask for help. Was ignored by several sales guys until one provided assistance that I needed to drive to the other service entrance.
When I was checking in the vehicle, they “couldn’t find” my appointment and was told it would be 1.5 hours for an oil change. It ended up taking 2 hours for a scheduled oil change. That’s insane.
Granted, the service department seemed crazy busy, but scheduled appointments should be added to the system appropriately and then honored before walk-ins. The employees at the service center check-in are very nice, but seemingly overwhelmed. Definitely seems like more staff is needed in this dept to appropriately support demand.
And sales personnel should definitely be more helpful to any customer coming into the building.
My husband and I recently bought a Ram 1500 here. Although the dealership as a whole was just okay, we worked with Pegi and she was AMAZING – very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend working with Pegi to anyone looking to purchase their next vehicle.
just Had this dealerships service department fix another dealerships mess ups. At first there was some communication issues mainly due to the situation at hand. Ultimately they jumped through hoops and got me squared away.
Probably one of the least helpful automobile dealerships at ever been associated with regarding service on my Jeep
Do NOT recommend. I have been taking my jeep here for multiple years (bc of the warranty) and it surprising continues to get worse each time. It seems near impossible to get someone to call you back, even after leaving voicemails with multiple people. This is true for scheduling, checking in on part delivery dates or when they are working on your vehicle!
After not being able to reach someone for 3 weeks I eventually had to drive an hour to see when the parts they ordered would arrive and to schedule an appt. Three hours after dropping my vehicle to be fixed I was informed the repair would be two days (no new issues) and there are no loaner cars. Now it’s day three of them having my car, they have not called me once to inform me what was going on and I just keep having to call and hope someone will eventually pick up.
Nice enough staff but the main reason I bought my truck here was to avoid driving to Denver for services and repairs. Two month wait to see why my check engine light is on is a joke.
9. Target
Address: 715 Blue River Pkwy, Silverthorne, CO 80498 , Silverthorne , Colorado , United States
The only store I’ve been to the most in my life so far, is target. I honestly think that target is the best store I’ve ever been to. In target I love how there are many different categories like gaming, movie, reading, sports, toys, food, furniture, clothes, shoes, birthday cards, makeup, and many other categories. P.S. target is the BEST store I’ve ever been to and please try to not go out of business! we❤ !
Hey Ben at Silverthorne, CO Target thank you! Ordered a PS5 at 6am and had it in my hands by 11:30am. Just thank you.
I always can find what I want. Today shopping feel safely
The normal target
A giant, clean, well stocked and well staffed Target with a CVS Pharmacy.
Prefer Wal-Mart prices
I was reprimanded by three dudes who took my water as I was checking out at the self pay thing, scolded and told I couldn’t purchase anything because I wasn’t wearing a mask. I’m sure they were hot on the radio as soon as I walked in, triangulating on my position to confiscate my soda water. Well done boys, I hear they’re giving out little star stickers at the chamber of commerce for each customer you successfully thwart. Denied!
Muy caro,
Bathroom was disgusting. I have never seen a bathroom in a Target like this! Was like the worst gas station bathroom. 2 stalls were not usable and no paper towels. The chart for employee to “check” bathroom on door was blank. Tried to find manager to complain. . .nowhere to be seen.
