Updating my review from a few years ago.
I went into this store with my son. He was very curious about the instruments bit didn’t touch a single one, I was warned for some reason to not let him touch anything. They didn’t want to offer help in me looking for an instrument or anything I needed I went into this store once and a very nice man helped with what I was looking for but this visit was very sour with the couple behind the counter to stuck up to help me
Went in to buy some straps. The man their didnt seem like he wanted to work. Was bothered by my questioning of the straps. Didnt seem interested in selling
2. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 7360 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046, United States , Soca , California , United States
Always have a good time at Sam Ash looking around at all the guitars they have looking all the new equipment new Innovations for guitars and guitar players on there always pretty busy on I don’t always have a lot of time to hang out but they always help me with anything that I’m looking for and they’re pretty much Johnny on the spot couldn’t ask for a better set of people
Good selection, plenty of parking and good prices. The line was slow. Cashier was slow.
Great they even fixed something for me for free
Very nice people in the Sunset Blvd store.
I would never spend another dime at this store. I spent a little under 1k here and was treated horribly. Just rude for no apparent reason. Jose was professional but the other guy is unbelievable. Guitar center or sweet water is your best bet.
I came to this store instead of guitar center because it has better reviews but damn reviews be lying, as soon as I walked in the employees just looked at me and didn’t even asked me if I needed help or anything so I kept walking until I found what I was looking for but they didn’t have much so after couple minutes FINALLY this employee approached
me just to tell me if I need it to purchase an instrument real quick before they close, like trying to rush me and wasnt really helpful so I left. I felt like they didn’t take me serious as a customer maybe because of my looks or because I was a female or even because of my race (hispanic) or maybe they thought I didn’t have money, I don’t know what it was but whaterver it was it shouldn’t be like that, they should always acknowlege anyone all times. The only person that acknowledge me and made me feel welcome was the security guard guy but the rest, they sucked big TIME! never going ever again!
A young lady at this location advised me to use dunlop 65 polish on my ebony fretboard, and ruined it. My entire guitar playing experience has been ruined by this one single event.
