Cozy wine bar with curated music mostly of the acoustic variety. Friendly vibes.
Chill place to relax and listen to some good music.
great place!
This was a really neat little place to listen to music. Beer and wine available and the restroom is outside behind the building where you’ll need a #code.
This place is right next door to the hotel we were staying at which was very convenient. City of Solvang closes super early but this place is basically the only place that stays open until midnight. They also have outdoor tables.
We came at 8 and each got a drink. They have a limited list of wine, beer, and beverages. We sat down to enjoy the live performance by Jackson Gillies. Had an absolute wonderful time. This was Friday night. My friend had beer while I had rose.
We had a wonderful time and couldn’t wait to return. The next day, Saturday, places nearby had live music until 9 and this place was the place to be after 9. We came in and the artist was on break, however the person behind the bar told us it’ll resume soon until 11 and $10 cover charge.
I looked on the website and confirmed it did say $10 cover charge but we weren’t charged the night before. Maybe they meant $10 minimum purchase? I’m sorry, but I’m not going to pay cover for a band I don’t know when I’m going to buy multiple drinks with tip and tip the artist. For that reason, I’m knocking down a star.
I went to this venue on 03/25/22. The concert itself was fantastic, in no small part due to the great sound system this place has.
However, there was a party of six in the first row that were far too drunk for such an intimate venue. They consistently disrupted the opening performers: talking, yelling, tripping over chairs. They were warned by the performers to stop, but they continued to be disruptive.
It was the main performer who, after his first song, finally asked them to be removed. They left cursing at him to his face, and one individual, having already been taken outside, returned screaming “never meet your idols” during the next song.
I understand that the venue has limited control over how much their patrons drink, and I also understand that such removals can be difficult, especially in a place where those you are removing may be locals, friends, family, etc. Yet it was clear from very early in the concert that these people were going to be an issue, and it is unfortunate that the performer had to be the one to lay down the law. That put him in an unnecessary, embarrassing situation, one he apologized for despite it being clearly not his fault.
This could have been managed by the venue’s staff beforehand, and I would encourage them to consider their approach to such situations in the future.
Play insanely loudly until 11:30PM when they are RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO A HOTEL. Screw you guys

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great variety of metaphysical and geological items.
My daughter was in heaven there.. Sooooo many things to see. The staff were super helpful and sweet.
We definitely went over our intended budget but it was all worth it
This place is amazing. I always like to visit this store when I’m in solvang!
Been going here since I was little when my mom was around store has changed over the years and still love looking at the protects they have
I got a rock!
Bought a refill for my Health candle and a book for my mother. Very pretty, tranquil, and clean.
So we are going to the shop and it closed like 20 minutes ago
Rather not
Very rude worker on the Sunday we went. She chased us out because I wanted to take a picture of a cup. The cups are just faces with an occupational theme. I wanted to take a picture to show my friend’s mother that wasn’t with us. The worker got upset the minute I pulled out my phone and said no pictures!! Not very welcoming at all
3. Pebble People
Address: 1608 Copenhagen Dr # B, Solvang, CA 93463 , Solvang , California , United States
We couldn’t buy anything as we are travelling internationally, but the owner was very lovely and knowledgeable. The shop has some AMAZING pieces that i would have loved to take home
it’s a really good store with their lovely stone.
Wow, what a cute idea, Pebble People has a lot more than families of rocks with eyes, but that is what gets you in the store. There is a wall with hundreds of Koo-koo clocks, a room full of fan stuff; Disney, Elvis, Wizard of Oz, Precious Moments. Lots of jewelery, much featuring turquoise and silver.
Pebble People is an odd assortment of everything from Cuckoo clocks to lucky horseshoes, Christmas trinkets, Disney themed prints, to jewelry and more. It’s a fairly large store to walk through. Personally I find the majority of it to be politely not my taste. This place is one of two stores offering Cuckoo clocks..both mechanical (traditional) and battery operated. Staff is friendly and helpful, but with varied knowledge about what they are selling.
This shop sells a lot of tourist wares. There is a large wall of cuckoo clocks, displays of various types of rings with semi-precious stones, and a lot of other souvenirs.
Muñecas muy bonitas.
Horrible. They promise you one price and get you hooked. Then they up the price on you. Stay away! Not good people. Horrible customer service.
The owners and staff are TOTAL A-Holes! Stay away from this shop!
Why wouldn’t you promote your business to a vlogger rather than being rude? Seems pretty illogical to me.

Catherine helped me very quick in and out in 10 minutes! She fixed my watch and I was very happy with the service!
Great business, couple, and service
This is a great family owned business!! Chris and Catherine Hansen are very hard working business owners, the shop is clean, and has a wide variety of items to please everyone. A great shop for the special gift your looking for. The shop is a must see while your in the village,
Wish there were more trinket-like souvenirs. Things were a tad too spendy to justify as a souvenir. It was neat to look at though.
This place has really nice stuff but way too overpriced. The clocks are pretty and they have a huge assortment of jewelry just seems kind of steep for some items
Very rude stuff. Never gonna go again. Not worth spending your dollars here .
5. The Good Life
Address: 1672 Mission Dr, Solvang, CA 93463 , Solvang , California , United States
We always enjoy the good life. It is our go to place.
Muy ricas las bebidas
A nice pub, good atmosphere and our waitress was quick witted and made for a fun time!
Good place to hangout. They also have some wine and beer flights to taste from different vineyards on this region. While the service staff is really good too, the wines were not too good comparing to the other vineries that we tried on. So wine list can be changed within better options.
Lovely ambience when I visited, small and cozy with a fire burning. I had a custom flight of very good beers, looking forward to returning!
El lugar muy acogedor y con gran variedad de cervezas
I’m not quite sure what this place is trying to be, but trying to sell Old Rasputin beer for $8 for a 12oz bottle is just plain crazy. Good luck catching tourists…
Would get a higher rating had it not been by the extremely rude blonde waitress.
2nd Time in Solvang since 2016 and my wife were trying to show her out of state relatives a good time, decided to wait in the outside seating area before The Good Life opens in 5 minutes. A blonde female employee passive-aggressively, no hi guys with a poker face said “hey guys about to set up” with cushions in her hands for the benches we sat on. We stood up, stood on the sidewalk, she come out again passive-aggressively saying “guys I need to set tables here” not a hello I’m gonna open in 5mins or glad to have you, please be patient. Beers might have been good but service was SOUR. Never going here again
