My search for a violinist pushed me out of my local area and after reviewing numerous social media videos, I came across Leann aka L-Strings. My client was very impressed with her recorded performances so we synchronized schedules and booked her for the celebration. She was so professional and sweet and her performance for the first hour was outstanding. So outstanding, the videographer used her live performance as the music for the video from the event! She even celebrated with us for the majority of the evening and we realized she and my client are alumni of the same university! She was such a pleasure to work with AND she was also booked for another celebration! Now that speaks volumes to how much the guests enjoyed her performance. Make sure you book her ASAP because her calendar fills up fast!!! Her performance literally set the tone for the celebration!
Ms Holmes came to my home and entertained for a private birthday surprise event! We had a most fantastic time. She is engaging, fun and highly professional. She took the time to understand my needs for the event. She was very responsive. Once again she was so much FUN, she made us feel so good we even danced!!!!! L-Stringz and Ms Holmes are a MUST HAVE at your next event!

Ken Stanton Music is the hometown brand. It is apparently one legitimate alternative to Guitar Center and Sam Ash. I stopped by the store recently and had a pleasant experience.
From the exterior, you can tell that the store won’t have a massive selection. It’s a smaller store, but still worth checking out. You could always find a gem. I found a pretty reasonably priced Gibson ES-Les Paul that I’m strongly considering.
I worked with Ben during my time in the store, and he was terrific. The store didn’t carry a White Falcon or a Martin D35, but he found that other Ken Stanton locations carried them and offered to have them delivered to the Stone Mountain location.
There’s a lot to consider when investing in expensive instruments and gear. As it currently stands, I wouldn’t mind buying from Ben at Ken Stanton.
The shop has a big selection for its size and the staff are helpful but not pushy. We found just what we were looking for and enjoyed browsing the guitars and other strings.
I would give ZERO starts if possible.. Went there 3 times within 5 days and kept getting the run around.. Ended up with nothing.. They are horrible and i would not recommend them to anyone.
False prices: How would you feel if you are a first time customer to that store and after browsing for a guitar you spot the one you liked and then you played it and realized it was the one you want, you took it to the register to buy and they refused to sell it to you? that is exacly what happened to me there. bad place to go. the item was tagged for $299 and the attendant said “yes is on clearance” the greedy manager did not honor the price, he wanted $ 130 more at register
Attempted to start a trumpet rental but the credit card processing system can take at least a day. Therefore we drove 2 hours in total to wait an hour and be told you have to come back to pick it up.

Very rude from the jump. Took a look at my daughter and told her she couldn’t play the trombone. I told him to not discourage my daughter before even allowing her to pick up the instrument for the first time. He got louder and ride. I walked out. Surprise he is still in business.
It’s a small business so they may be used to certain things. Sometimes phone calls go unanswered. Sometimes, they step out without a note. I got the instrument from a flyer from my son’s school. You dnt have to make payments to them if you rent your instrument so you don’t really deal with century music like that. They really are sweet though, the 2 ppl I have encountered.
I called about lessons, the guy that works there was rude and not helpful. I’ll take my money elsewhere, oh and I inquired online first….still no answer. they wont be here long.
Wedding at Kaya Vineyards with Bankhead Violinist performing as guests arrived! Everyone was enjoying the performance and greatly entertained! Highly recommend!
I don’t even know where to begin! The Bankhead Violinist took my event far above the sophisticated level I was imagining. His song selection boosted the vibe of happy feelings and good times! From set up to break down and all the good music in between, he was the consummate professional and most excellent of musicians. If you have any doubts about booking him, remove them! I highly recommend his services!
Bankhead Violinist was very responsive, professional and prompt. His music is absolutely beautiful!! We were very pleased with his service and as a wedding planner I will use him again in the future!
