Really cool music shop, they have plenty of guitars and accessories.
Very helpful
Given every chance to help local business owners I will. Jeff is a awesome and friendly guy. Knowledgeable in his profession. Great selection and fair prices.
It’s o.k a little pricy but no choice unless going to visalia..
Found some custom volume knobs for my Dad’s guitar
buena atencion, siempre encuentro lo que busco,y buenos precios…
I am not satisfied with Jeff’s Music store at all! In December of last year, I purchased a set of Peavey mics as a gift to our church. During our first worship service, we noticed that the one mic kept going off. Thinking it was probably the battery, we replaced the battery. Did fine for a short while and then went off again. The repeated changing of the battery caused the cover to break. I took the Mic back to Jeff to see if they would replace 2 weeks later. He kept the mics for 2 weeks while he said he would contact Peavey to see if they would replace it. After repeatedly calling and going by to check on it, I was told that the button on the Mic was broken and Peavey wouldn’t replace it. My thing is that I purchased the Mic from Jeff and not Peavey! I returned it within 30 days of purchase and was told “Sorry, there’s nothing I can do.” I’m sorry I ever spent the $513 for the mics there! And the $500 drum set last Christmas! And also the $85 a month drum lessons I spend on every month. I will not be purchasing anything more from Jeff’s Music. He does not stand behind his products that he sells. I will go to Visalia next time.

Whites Music has always been there for simple and good tune ups and setups with great and honest prices!
They got me what I wanted and they got it fast.
Such a pleasant and kind staff. And they have so much.
Great service! Wish there was more selection but their wide expanse of all types of musical knowledge is unmatched in the area.
Very knowledgeable. Direct!
I have been going to White’s off and on for maybe 20 years? Some long-time staff are cool and extremely helpful, and I have also walked out when I was ready to lay down 7 to 800 bucks on a guitar because of the rude sales clerk they had at that time. They are the last of the local “mom & pop” music stores we’ve had in town over the years. I avoid Guitar Center with a passion and prefer to go to White’s when I can but, similar to Wal-Mart & Lowe’s compared to Ace hardware & your local department store (which there are few left), it’s hard to pay 5 bucks for an item you can get for 2 at the mega box store. Overall I like White’s but I have had a few bad experiences there (however the people who were rude seem to pass through, Guitar Center is almost ALWAYS rude as if it is corporate policy) in my experience.
Low inventory. Cluttered. Go to guitar center.
Be careful of the instrument rental contracts here, very shady. There are many other options to rent instruments from places nearby, and I would recommend going with a place like Guitar Center over this one if you want an honest and straightforward agreement. We were told by the owner, Robert, at a rental night that we pay monthly on the balance until the value of the instrument is paid off. When automatic payments stopped getting charged, we assumed it was because the instrument was paid off. After a year, we got a notice from a collections agency saying we owed almost $1000 in rental charges, without any prior notification from Whites music that there was still any kind of balance on the account. Whites music claimed that the reason charges had stopped was that the expiration date on the card expired, and that we would have needed to go in and state that we wanted to own the instrument or we would continue to be charged for renting. The owner, Robert, was very rude to us on the phone and hung up on us when we asked questions about the music contracts. Other workers there said the person in charge of sending out notifications of the account being past due had recently been fired and refused to say anything else about the notifications not being sent out. One worker, Joseph, stated, “Are you in the habit of not reading the fine print on contracts?” in response to inquiries. If you rent from this company, you need to read carefully and keep careful records. Their contracts are set up in a way to take advantage of people, with a stipulation in fine print saying that you have to take additional measures then what is told to you on first signing. Furthermore, they are not afraid to lie about their services or speak unkindly to customers. It is apparent that Robert sees his business as a way to make money and that is all. He does not care about his customers, and he doesn’t care to run an honest business.
Update: After reading the owner’s reply, you should know that they did not lose money on this deal. This is a shady comment in itself, because they are referring to a small fee that was paid to the collections agency for them taking on the account. White’s Music received a payment in rental fees of over $400 from myself and the trumpet was returned to account for the other fees. They made hundreds of dollars as a result of this deal, not including the value of the trumpet which they can now rent out again. The owner also mentions the contract continuously as a reason why it is okay to behave the way they did. My dilemma has, and continues to be, that I received no notification of any late fees before being sent to collections. This dilemma was never responded to and the owner did not make up for this oversight. This company did not go out of it’s way to help me with this matter. They took a lot of money from me and did it in a dishonest way. If you notice, the owner makes no mention of hanging up on me, being rude, or the comment made by the employee about how I should have read the fine print on the contract more carefully. This business believes that it is established and it’s long-standing history with the community can make up for poor practices, and that as long as something is written into a binding contract, they can swindle people however they want. Just because this company once had an honest reputation in years past does not mean it continues to be that way.
Dropped off my guitar either Saturday or Sunday. All that needed to be done was one of the wires needed to be soldered, shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes. Was told it wouldn’t be ready until Monday or Tuesday. Tuesday comes and goes and we call and are told he was on a tech call and that it wouldn’t be done until Thursday. Already upset because at the very least I should’ve gotten a phone call updating me, we wait until today, Thursday. So we just went to the store and he still hadn’t even looked at it, was just laying there. So we just picked it up and left without it being fixed. It shouldn’t take that long, and you couldn’t even call and update? Took it to Guitar Center instead

I have had really great experiences with the kind and knowledgeable staff that work at this location. Although Guitar Center isn’t always known for their high quality, the staff I’ve dealt with have made sure that everything I’ve gotten has been up to good standards or fixed things so that I was satisfied.
They had everything we went there for
This Guitar Center is great! The employees are always super friendly and helpful, and I love that they now stock “band and orchestra supplies,” like violin strings. They even had a set of sleigh bells I needed at the last minute during the Christmas season. Once, my acoustic pickup quit functioning and the guy didn’t even change me to fix it because it only took him 5 minutes. Sometimes the internet likes to poke fun of Guitar Center, but it’s not because of the one in Visalia, CA. They’re amazing.
Good selection of musical instruments, but parts for your instrument are lacking.
Pretty cool, staff always friendly and willing to help.
Absolutely neccessary. This place is “A-1” for your musical needs.
Deceptive business practices with the “order online pickup today”. Wasted two trips after receiving email confirming order was at store, just to be told order wasn’t there. Horrible customer service.
If anyone is in the market to buy an instrument, dont drown a potential customer out of an area by turning on stupid loud metal music and then walking off. It was quite at first when i walked in and about 15 mins later, it was like hey! Lets turn on the metal music and flush out potential customers. It was rude and uncall for. I could no longer hear the sounds on the instrument i was examining.. I’m not saying they cant have music on, just dont make it obvious to assume any person isn’t a potential customer in market examining whats out there.
No voy a decir que balen berga pero les faltan un poco pa madurar a los trabajadores , el Viejon De pelo blanco si se aventó machin y encontró mi orden que según no había llegado , todos modos voy a seguir comprando de ahí no me queda de otra a
