Honest people and easy to navigate.
This is an AMAZING place to take your child for music lessons! They are very friendly and personable. My daughter was learning violin in school and needed further instruction. Her instructor is Liz.
I can’t say enough about Liz. She is great with children as well as adults. Her teaching abilities and knowledge of the violin surpass what we expected.

If u r trying to take music lessons I recommend not to go with Dakota I have never seen someone rude like her , but to be honest I don’t know about others but Angie the receptionist was very nice and helpful

A high quality locally owned and operated music studio and story. Super friendly and highly competent staff. Great selection of options from instruments to accessories to lessons. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
I was in the other day and the young lady, I believe her name was Sydney, at the front counter was so nice and very helpful. She was able to answer any questions I had. It was such a pleasure to have someone take the time to help me.
Decent school for lessons. With Surprise being so far out in the West Valley it does leave us few options. I am concerned when any business becomes engaged in politics ie: #RedForEd. I personally thought it unfair for our teachers in Arizona to put our children through what they did. Then these kids have to worry when showing up to music classes. “Are our teachers gone??”

I’ll give this 4 stars because of the young kid who helped. So yes nice place and very courteous people. However they do t have much there as far as guitars or amps.
I purchased a guitar from Lance at Musical Surprise and several days following the purchase, I experienced concerns with the instrument. I respectfully asked Lance for my money back, however, he flatly refused to return my funds and did not stand behind his product. I caution potential customers of Musical Surprise to be very careful as their business practises display levels of dishonesty and product misrepresentation.

Owner took the time to publicly embarrass me in front of others, chastising me at my dislike over their policy of employees changing schedules on us .. Their policy allows for them to reschedule on a dime , but they will not accommodate for our rescheduling an in person meeting … only zoom and lesson plans that are not comparable. We could have got past this except the owner proceeded to embarrass me , and speaking about private matters publicly . I graciously told him the conversation was over and left . My jaw is still in the floor that he would loudly speak to a paying client in this manner . 4 kids and two years . Wow way to say thanks !
Oh my gosh! I heard the owner today speak to another parent in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. He sarcastically told the parent (paraphrasing) go ahead and find another studio . Wow! Good on her for just walking away from him and not engaging in his childish behavior. Definitely pulling my kids! I know surprise doesn’t have many studios but it certainly doesn’t give the owner the right to treat any paying customer this way, especially in front of others. Zero TACT buddy. I see that the owner usually responds to reviews. I’m curious if he will actually respond in a manner of humility and tact or give excuses? Hopefully a good lesson for him on dealing with humans as a professional.
