No kidding , Mr Clay has a really nice store. Good prices , good service. Phil. Thank You Clay
Very helpful.
Great selection of pre-owned gear from professional to beginner. Knowledgable service in a friendly atmosphere. You will love the vibe of this shop with all the great ever changing inventory of guitars, amps, pedals…..and retro memorabilia. A must visit for any guitar player.
Great! Always feel right at home with clay in all his amazing vintage collectibles
I had a guitar to sell. Clay was helpful and fair. The store is clean and organized. Shows he cares.
He has a nice personable business. A little more “hands on” and knowledgeable than the big box stores, he has pre-owned offerings at affordable rates that the big stores merely try to duplicate for a bait and switch. Clay may not have it, but he can get it. It might be a trifle more but rest assured it will come and if you need, he’s happy to give you the professional setup that instrument deserves and lessons to go along (if you desire) With it. You may walk in and catch him jamming with a friend or two.
We’re losing something with the closing of these “neighborhood” stores. Everyone of the others are too help yourself, pump your own gas, ring your own sale up establishments. Music is the universal language. We live in it and communicate through it. At Clay’s, you get a feel of that. Sure, he might not be in the best mood the day you visit. Give it another shot like I did. I’m not always charming or “chatty” myself. The second time he proved to be a plethora of info and antedoctes. Glad now that I did
I brought my Martin acoustic guitar in for a new input jack. Typically an easy fix. He took one look at it and refused to work on it. Mumbled something about Martin guitars. Very disappointing. I took my guitar to Guitar Repair of Tampa Bay and they had it fixed in 30 minutes. Should’ve just gone there in the first place and not wasted my time at Clay’s. I won’t make that mistake again. If you have a Martin guitar, don’t even bother.
Rude owner. Poor selection of low end over priced acoustic guitars.
Not impressed. Low inventory and old equipment. Junk
3. Vinyl Vibes CD SHOP
Address: 813 Dodecanese Blvd, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 , Tarpon Springs , Florida , United States
Pleasantly overwhelmed with everything they have to offer. Found some hidden gems, and very friendly, personal service. Will 100% be back, maybe again later tonight or tomorrow!!
Great selection
Very helpful and patient with this newbie, with awesome selection
Really cool and unique posters and fan gear, especially if you like Grateful Dead and/or Star Wars. Vinyl and CDs. Ok amount of variety in music. Definitely worth checking out.
It was ok.. Hard to really find anything as order was confusing..Owner or proprietor did not appear very interested in helping . Cool decor though and since it was close to closing time it may have influenced service.
There is a decent collection but most are newer presses. I like to collect original presses as the sound and quality is better on analog recordings vs digital to viynl copies. Prices are a little higher but also on par for some. I found records I couldn’t find elsewhere, like early Hall and Oates. The owner takes great care and I appreciate that they seemingly clean the used viynls. Some shops don’t bother to remove dust and it annoys me.
Owner obviously doesn’t understand that referring to children as rats isn’t good for business.
Need dependable, beautiful sounding reeds for you or your students? Look no further. I’ve been using them for 25+ years. Many other great oboe products, too!
Reeds are always consistent, if you need to pause or add to a subscription it is really easy to do so. I recommend these reeds to every other oboe player.
I enjoy playing on Stellar Oboe reeds. The reeds are uniform in workmanship quality and have a great resonant sound. If Amy is familiar with your playing style she will make the reeds accordingly so you can make your own adjustments to the reed.
