Benjamin Warner was the DJ, MC and overall reception-planner for my wedding in Savannah, Georgia in April 2014.
Ben was professional, fun, helpful, and flexible; everything I wanted and needed in someone involved with my big event. Last minute changes I gave him were met with a “No problem!” and a “You’ve got it!”
Ben played all of the music my wife and I requested, and was great at facilitating the different segments of the evening and getting people to dance. Ben is also a great musician, so I had him perform our first-dance song, where he sang a duet with my cousin. All of my family and friends were blown away and still talk about it!
Like I said, Ben is fun and talented, but most importantly he matches these qualities with professionalism. Ben was very organized throughout the entire process, especially on the wedding day. Over the months of planning he responded to my emails and phone calls almost immediately.
Ben goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you want. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for better.
Ben was an absolute pleasure to work with. He and Mike are so talented and definitely wowed our guests. Having found someone that could play beautiful ceremony music and also run our reception was such a blessing! It really helped ease my mind, because Ben was such a true professional from the beginning. He communicated with me regularly, and certainly seemed to understand our intended vibe for the evening. Not only was planning/coordinating with Ben a breeze, but I’m BEYOND happy with how our entire day went, and he was a big part of that. I honestly wish I’d been able to be a fly on the wall to hear more of the pre-ceremony music, but our guests gave me glowing reviews. I felt like all of our guests were up and enjoying every minute of the reception, too. And not just at the bar. So many guests danced the night away! We felt you really protected the integrity of the party we were looking for, while also being accommodating to our last-minute requests. He kept things moving without a hitch. I would highly recommend working with Benjamin T Warner Acoustic DJ, and know I will be sure to again for any future similar needs.
Ben was absolutely perfect for our wedding! He is such a kind and talented individual. He really tries to get to know and understand the couples he is working with. He does a great job at listening to your vision and things/songs you don’t want. He is very quick to respond and accommodating to requests. Him and his family drove two hours to come out and see our venue- it was so kind! As we were walking around he played acoustic guitar and we all loved the vibe he creates. He also sent us demos before the wedding so that we could practice our dance.
On the wedding day he played acoustic guitar for our ceremony, a trio (Billy and Melissa) for our cocktail hour, and then he DJed the rest of the night. They sang our first dance song (Perfect) and made it totally our own- even changing some words since we’re a same sex couple. They made us feel like we were all friends and those are the kind of people you want at your wedding. They are so talented! Ben kept the dance floor packed all night and the lighting was a great touch. I loved that he would come out on the dance floor and party with us too! During our sparkler send off, he played a drum which perfected the moment. It was truly magical because of the music. You definitely should book Ben to bring your wedding to life! He really goes above and beyond.
Overall great DJ, tried his best during our rainy wedding, we had a great dance party and I would recommend.
Felt there was a lack of communication, including unanswered emails and our track for the daddy daughter dance didn’t get played correctly so I can’t give a perfect score.
My husband and I booked Ben Warner for his services for our September 2020 wedding. We paid him for most of the services ahead of time. While COVID was still a large factor, we communicated with his business partner and wife through email in case anything were to fall through. We even discussed having him primarily play outside to stay safe. Up until a little over a month before our wedding, he cancelled on us- after several discussions leading us to believe that would not be the case.
While we totally understand a vendor cancelling for COVID reasons, we were not prepared for them to keep all of our money paid to them. They stated that because they had coordinated EMAILS to secure other musicians for our wedding, the fees we paid to them (>$800 if not more) would cover services rendered. These musicians were not going to be playing at our wedding so I’m not sure what services they meant.
All in all, I was devastated that Ben and his wife would take advantage of us and other people this way. It was heartbreaking to have to scramble and find someone else last minute when they had MONTHS to make the decision to cancel us.
I could even understand only giving us a partial refund, but they took every single penny. This was the only vendor that did this to us. Anyone else who canceled us, refunded us.
We were at fault in that our contract didn’t cover unexpected pandemics and there was no clause about them cancelling on us in the contract so we just lost our money.
While I’m sure Ben Warner is a talented musician and DJ, he does not care about their clientele. They have no problem stealing from their clients as was made evident to us later on. It felt slimy and dishonest.
There are plenty of other talented musicians and DJs in this area- consider them before Ben, especially if COVID is still around. He will take your money so fast and give nothing in return
Ben Warner failed to render agreed upon and contracted services and refused to refund any monies from deposit after he terminated.
On January 2019, we contracted services with a deposit for $627 for a June 2020 wedding. We had close communications during May 2020 to ensure Ben T Warner would be able to work the wedding worship with all of the uncertainties of the virus and executive orders of North Carolina. It appeared that they were noncommittal in April & May to the extent of recommending to us that we get another company to do the event. They canceled only 18 days prior to the event. At the time, NC actually had exceptions for weddings and funerals that allowed us to proceed. Fortunately we were able to scramble and find another vendor.

Just opened this new location in Douglas. They carry big band instruments, electric pianos, guitars drums, and many accessories. They have a staff who are musicians that speak the language of making music. They supply high school and college bands with instruments and service/ repair. They can hook up your band for a good price and support your dreams!
Great service and selection
My hometown place to go when I need new guitar strings etc or drum equipment and more . They give guitar lessons, piano lessons, etc. Also, this place offers nice new/used rentals on instruments for band students and offer payment options. selection on low to mid to high end instruments. New and some used. Staff is always Very helpful, knowledgeable with music, instruments, and help you understand the different types of instruments that do same thing but sound different or use, very informative and instructive. Highly Recommend
Quick and convenient.
Disorganized seems like good variety but expensive prices
Quiet. Seemingly aimed at school band members.
Buyer beware. Shop around before you buy. Their instruments are way over priced and became tarnished fast. The same exact instruments they buy and rebrand with their logo, then sell to the school students can be found on Amazon for a third of the price. Check other sources before you buy, like I should have done.
No one is ever there to answer the phone
I would give zero stars if I could. These people are crooks. We paid for something we never received. I called and talked with someone who told me it wasn’t even ordered yet, but now am being given conflicting stories and they refuse to give me a refund. Nobody should ever do business with this place. They charge too much and are crooks. Period

The owner offered to tune and check my just purchased used 5 string banjo. I couldn’t get it to stay in tune. Lo, it was the tuners at fault. All the screws were loose. He fixed them.
Sounds beautiful
Thank you
The best music store in town also pretty much the only one if you want to know anything about Gram Parsons or Artisan guitars definitely going to check it out
