Dale (Dallas McGee) is just a neat, fascinating, gravely, friendly- old country boy. His Guitars are pure artwork. The sound is first rate.
Dale is the best. Setups are amazing and some crazy repair work. Can do anything. His guitars are amazing.
Best guitars in the world made right here in Georgia. Dale is the most down to earth guy I have ever met and will work with you to make sure your guitar needs are met with a smile. Look them up on Facebook!
2. Music Depot Inc
Address: 1954 Shedd Rd, Bremen, GA 30110 , Temple , Georgia , United States
Massive selection and great service! They had exactly what we needed and more!
Friendly, knowledgable, and good selection.
They have all my music needs, strings, music, picks ,& more
Dark warehouse, but a lot to choose from. Worth a visit for local musicians!
Good for parts and accessories instruments are high .old strings on everything can’t tell how they sound with old strings.
So if you’re in the West Georgia area and you need some musical items this place has about everything you could want. The selection is good, and they offer rent to own options. I would probably use them more except for the fact that their is prices are pretty high compared to other stores.
Good selection. However lousy customer service. I bought a clarinet strap for my wife. It didn’t fit so I tried to return it for a refund. I had the receipt and had only bought it a couple of days before. Saleswoman was very rude. Refused to give me a refund for a lousy 7 dollars. “I’m sorry all I can give is store credit. That’s our policy.” Another way to say that I don’t care about my customers. I don’t buy a lot of music supplies. So store credit does me absolutely no good. So she lost any future business with me and I will tell any of my friends who are musicians to beware. If you buy something there you better be sure it’s right or kiss your money goodbye. I could understand if it was several hundred dollars. We are talking about 7 dollars.
Very unhappy and will not buy again
Bought a new microphone that didn’t work out of the box. They didn’t have a replacement and wouldn’t offer a refund or store credit. I’m currently compiling a list of people mistreated by this organization. So far, we’re prepared to post over 120 negative reviews. You should have done better music depot.
Called first to get a price to re-wire my guitar. Dropped guitar off and when I picked it up price was $15 more. Paid anyways and get home and same static noise was not fixed. Never did fix my guitar and charged me more than quoted. Stay away from this bad business!!!
3. Dollar General
Address: 268 Carrollton St, Temple, GA 30179 , Temple , Georgia , United States
I was able to get in and out quickly. Friendly staff.
Man! I went into this Dollar General today at lunch and upon entering I had to stop to take a look around to ensure I was at the right location. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE seen a Dollar General so smacking clean. I was so amazed that I went down every isle and even peeked in the store room door which was cracked-this was utterly amazing to me. As I approached the register an associate by the name of Tiffany Dutton was helping another customer. Shocking enough was that she acknowledged me and ensured that she will be with me shortly. Once she had finished she swiftly approached and lead myself along with other customers to the register. I had to applaud her and a young man by the name of Roger Padgett, they were the only two in the store and handled the customer flow with an honorable since of urgency.
I told Ms. Dutton that I would like to do an review in regards to my experience, and guess what? she so selflessly provided her name and Rogers name. But wait… She even provided her Managers name Jennifer Sapp even though she was not present. This is the exemplification of an power team, one in which companies can only dream about. WOW!
I don’t normally do reviews, however this one stands to be talked about. I still can not believe how clean and well organized the store was and the awesome customer service i experiences.
HOTS OFF TOO.
Tiffany Dutton
Roger Padgett
Jennifer Sapp (Manager)
Always a good value but needs to be stocked better.
Not so good had to wait 20 min for two items
Had what I needed and got out
Store is always a mess and unorganized. Employees seem to be spaced out or in conversation with one another not interacting with customers. Sad that it’s such a new store.
Terrible store . Trashed , nothing organized .carts of stuff everywhere and hard to get through the aisles . This store has done nothing but go down . They need new management , I have talked to corporate in hopes this gets fixed .
Employees not too friendly
4. Marsply Solutions Group
Address: 136 Governor Ln, Temple, GA 30179 , Temple , Georgia , United States
Very friendly has whatever you need and has a nice dog
Kevin is awesome at what he does and it’s one of the best guitar shops around. Love this place!
Excellent place 🙂 Helped me find my first guitar and the dog was very sweet.
Dog to greet you… my kid is a little timid around animals so the barking came close to making us leave. The not being greeted was another miss, but I am a glutton for punishment…. I did make a purchase but don’t think I’ll be going back for anything…. just not as outgoing or friendly as we are accustomed to… some times we get comfortable because we have a monopoly, no other business in a close proximity. And new people don’t matter…I want to say, we should all matter and one shouldmake every effort that clients and customers know they are appreciated. Also “all sales final” after paying was a little out of order…. that only came out because I asked while being rang up what happens if something is wrong … but you get the idea. Don’t go with big expectations and you should be okay.
Great place to find what you want in music
I dropped my guitar off to have is set up and couldn’t be happier with their work. It’s a 20 year old guitar that needed some TLC and they took care of what was needed while making suggestions on what wasn’t. This is how business should be run, imo. B2K are friendly, knowledgeable and offer good work at fair prices.
Their gear prices are a little higher than what you can
find online but this is to be expected today. I prefer to support local businesses. 4 out of 5, only because I don’t give 5 stars and there isn’t a 4.5. Hehe
They’re way overpriced, and they know it. But it doesn’t matter if you have money or not if they don’t like either going to snub you. Very very stick in the ashes, type atmosphere
Awful, awful, awful! The guys who work there are the most unprofessional, unhelpful, people I have ever met! They were extremely rude and just flat out deuchebags!
I’ll never, ever shop there again. Period.
I wouldn’t recommend them
8. B & T Music
Address: 333 W Bankhead Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180 , Temple , Georgia , United States
These guys know what they’re doing both on a business and a personal level. It’s been a rough 2 years for my family. With my son battling leukemia, it’s hard to find joy in life. He lives vinyl, 80s music, and vintage electronics. These guys put a huge smile on his face with the simple gift of a free, portable 8-track player. He’s still grinning ear to ear, even though we left the store over 3 hours ago. I highly recommend these guys if you’re a music lover and have a vinyl, CD, or cassette collection.
Really surprised at how many records were at this location and they had great prices. The customer service was exceptional and they even went out of their way to assist. I am happy to give this place a great rating and I will be back every few weeks to get more records. It looks like they also have a great game store there although I did not get a chance to go through it this time.
Always friendly and very good deals.
Cool little shop. They were blasting Trouble when I walked in, that’s always a rad thing. Guy working was cool.
Parking kinda stinks, but you can make it work.
Very little space to move. They won’t take the time to look at records you bring and have very bad attitudes.
This store belittles and bullies customers who may have different music taste than the owners. They publicly post and comment on the social media of other record stores making fun of various music interests. Can’t recommend a store that will go out of their way to make others feel unwelcome in the music space.
9. Pilot Travel Center
Address: 625 Carrollton St, Temple, GA 30179 , Temple , Georgia , United States
I travel quite a bit and I would say this is one of the nicer travel centers that I have visited. Clean, parking was convenient. Inside check out was quick.
Slow
Clean restroom.. friendly people
Slow service. The attendants don’t care about you and they see a whole bunch of customers standing waiting to be helped but they just go about there own.
Restrooms were not good
I saw a HUGE roach in this store. I can’t buy anything out of this place. The manager said they sprayed last week. What did they use? I didn’t know it at the time but that was him that walked by it, he looked at it and continued walking. This has obviously been a problem for a while. Don’t worry about fixing it, I won’t be back. PFJ, none of your canned responses.

Very clean store… Friendly and accommodating staff!.. you won’t be disappointed…
It’s McD’s what can I say.
Good food fast… !
Sometimes you just have to have a burger
What has happened to McDonald’s? It used to be that they were known for clean restrooms and a place for kids. Now, who knows?
This Mc Donalds was one of the worst I’ve ever been in, they were extremely slow even though they were practically deserted and they got our order wrong
This is the worst McDonalds I’ve ever encountered…I travel a lot for work so I visit several of them…store was disgusting along with the food… employees are not rude but also not exactly “all there”…. drive thru employee knocked my bag on the floor. Picked it up, gave me same dirty bag off floor and used bare hands to try to put my fries back inside…burger was so old, greasy, and gross I had to throw it away…. NEVER EAT HERE

In two months I’ve learned and improved a lot by taking singing lessons, Victoria is a great teacher.
Wonderful atmosphere, very professional caring. You can tell Joe enjoys teaching his students. He’s very kind and does a great job at making learning fun.
I take lessons once a week and he has a great teaching style and I enjoy coming in the class room as a 13 year old male Andy mom says it’s a great price. He doesn’t treat you as a student and treats your more as a friend which personally I like.
15. Jackson’s Music Store Inc
Address: 5485 Westmoreland Plaza, Douglasville, GA 30134 , Temple , Georgia , United States
Great service!! A little on the pricy side, but it wasn’t bad since I was paying for top quality.
The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Great music teachers.
Good customer service. Very knowledge.
Nice staff, very polite and friendly. Young sales man could’ve been more knowledgeable about products. But he was still nice and polite. Selection was minimal. Said they would price match or beat other prices so that’s a +. If they were every to replenish there Guitar stock it would definitely be a 4 or 5
Decent selection, friendly and helpful. I’ve been using them for almost ten years.
As any business, it is made up of people. I have been a musician for 25 years but these guys treat you like you are an idiot every time you come in. I even sent my wife up there to ask for something specific and these morons tried to tell her that I was stupid for wanting what I needed. Humility and professionalism goes a long way. I went in to give them a shot on a $4k acoustic that I would up purchasing. Could not get them to treat me serious and I had cash that day!! Never, ever use this place.
Avoid like the plague. Absolutely rubbish. I will never set foot in this garbage store again. Rented an audio system that was buzzing. And changed me extra for an extension cable that there was no proof that it existed.
I really wanna like this place, but there is a guy that’s been here for years, and everytime I’ve gone in he has been crabby about something. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but he’s not to cool to the customers anytime I’ve been around.

Google maps takes me off I-75 southbound at 140 in Adairsville then takes me on a tour of very small roads thru Bartow County en route to Carrollton, Ga. Not fun considering i was pulling a travel trailer. This happens way too often. I’ll be looking for a new map app.
