While I can only attest to a piano move Herb Lindahl did for me, I was incredibly impressed. I had a heavy piano (~500 lb) that had to be moved down a slippery basement hatchway… Herb and his associate took care of everything, and treated the piano with knowledge and care. I am an Angie’s List subscriber, and he has outstanding, essentially perfect reviews for other piano moves and piano tuning or service. Good man, excellent service, good prices. Give him a call.
Great man. Very very capable and reasonable.
I’ve been with Herb for over 25 years. He has done the impossible at times. He is a gentleman and friend of mine. He loves my Baldwin grand and he enjoys tuning and minor repairs. It’s a joy when he comes.
My brilliant and thundering instrument.
I have revised my will to give him my Baldwin.

Scott was very professional and educated. (Hope I remember your name correctly!) Nice neat store and high quality instruments for sale and rent.
I visited the store to purchase a a beginner instrument for my child. I had no idea how much they cost. After speaking with the stores manager, he informed me of their rental program, and everything needed to start playing. Everything went smooth. And I left with everything I needed. Thank you so much !!!!
went out of their way to help me replace a guitar pedal that had a defect. fantastic customer service
I had a dispute regarding an instrument repair. The tech did a great job with the repair, but there was a miscommunication with the store concerning the scope of work to be performed. Jed Weeks at corporate resolved the issue with speed and grace.
This store is a good place to get music books for several instruments especially classical instruments that you can’t find many stores for. I have a violin and go here occasionally to buy books for cool songs. 🙂
Small space but with limited music supply stores in the area it’s good to see places like this still up
The in-store representatives are great and nice. But I am very much disappointed with the customer service representative and the supervisors. All of them showed rude behavior. I signed up for 10 months contract and during Covid situation there was delay in returning the instrument to the store at the end of contract period. But Music and Arts still charged me for 2 months on higher cost. Way above my 10 months contract. When I called the customer service, they were very rude and not showing any flexibility and care for customers. I wanted to do business with them for the next school year. But with these behaviors I will NEVER do business with them. I could not find anything lower than 1 star rating…
All they need is customers’ money… No care for customers… even in this COVID situations…
I love, love, love my new (old) piano!! I highly recommend looking for your new piano at Jazzmen Music and Gallery. Ryan is so nice and accommodating. He really extended himself to make sure that everything necessary was accomplished as far as me getting the piano of my dreams!!! Thank you Ryan!
Ryan was very friendly and an expert in helping us pick out a piano. He was able to restore, service, and deliver our piano for an incredibly affordable price. I would recommend him to anyone. Honest and great guy to work with.
Ryan is like the King of Piano Restoration. If you have a old Piano, but still want to keep playing, I suggest talking to Ryan about a trade deal where you buy one of his and he takes your old one! definitely worth the cost, plus hes willing to make adjustments if there’s any issues!

They have everything music lovers and musicians need and the staff is in the know about all the latest products.
10 years of awesome customer service 🙂
Very helpful!
Nice place, plenty of things to look at and test out to potentially buy.
I dealt with knowledgeable and ready to help people.
Great place! Find all you want in the music business, just a little on the pricey side.
Workers are all very helpful and pleasant.
This place is horrendous. upon arrival the cashier was blatantly vaping and blowing it in my face. he proceeded to accept my guitar then after getting my license from the car he tricked me and told me he would no longer accept it because the part would cost money to fix even though over the phone he said it was fine…. way to go for customer service. Not to mention it smelt rancid in there.
Sooo. Why is the phone number about insurance and not bringing me to guitar center
AVOID!!! Beware of Bait and Switch. I received confirmation for my purchase of a NEW Fender Standard Stratocaster on 3/13/19. The morning of 3/14 I received an email saying only a floor model was available which is contrary to the “NEW” status that was confirmed at my time of purchase. Nathan, my store contact, informed me that no other Fender Standard Strats were available and offered a used floor model. Later on 3/14 I noticed there were more of the exact model that I initially ordered in stock conveniently after a sale had run out. This bait and switch tactic is highly unprofessional and I will do my best to spread the word of my very poor experience with Guitar Center.

Thank you for being a good Samaritan with my electric leaf blower. Tolland is lucky to have you in town!
Just purchased a Ferris is600z! Pat was very knowledgeable and the transaction was a breeze!
Walked in with a problem with my chain binding. Quickly repaired while I waited, fairly priced.
I buy all my chains here and parts when I need them. Always in stock.
Clean, relaxed but helpful & friendly place.
Need a chain for the saw, They helped me find the right chain thanks
People are very knowledgeable, friendly.
I try to be nice and honest in my reviews but when I leave a review on Facebook and it gets slandered by the owner all bets are off the table!!! This guy is very unprofessional and has a horrible attitude!! When we brought our newly purchased chainsaw and blower from him in to have diagnosed he had told us that there was straight gas in it, come to find out that one of our children had put the wrong fuel in. No biggie, we did not argue or challenge his very quick diagnosis. He immediately said that both engines were scorned and that there was nothing he could do. I’m a local first responder in the area and I became busy with Covid19. 3 months went by after we had attempted to go to his shop twice only to find it closed both times. Finally after letting the owner Mr. Patrick Newton know that we were going to take the machines back and get a second opinion. Mr. Newton became very defensive and without any form of permission or consent proceeded to totally disassemble the blower, for diagnosis as he claimed and gave it back to us in a box and charged us over $100.00 for his unnecessary work. Even the Resident State Trooper couldn’t believe he had the nerve to charge us for the unnecessary work and gave us great information on how to go about getting our money back for the work that was not Authorized for Mr. Newton to do!!! Upon inspecting the parts we noticed that the blower throttle was missing and that there was a broken one that was from a different and much older model and it was cracked just below the handle. We returned back the next day to find that Mr. Newton had stripped our blower apart and intended to sell it for parts. He had taken our throttle and sold it to another customer without our knowledge. The chainsaw engine was NOT SCORNED and was up and running within 15 minutes of us getting it back from Mr. Newton. The blower is also up and running without any repair after a month of getting on Mr. Newton’s back about replacing the part, and even then he tried to give me a new part without the dial or trigger saying that we already had those in our box not realizing we had pictures of all the parts we had and the lack of! I would STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE TO AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY, HE WILL LIE TO YOU AND TRY AND RIP YOU OFF ANY WAY HE CAN!!!! Then on top of that, he will rudely and very unprofessionally comment on your review instead of apologizing for his unprofessional behavior and try to rectify the problem to a unhappy customer, he will then delete your review.
I called earlier to see if they had a piece of equipment I needed and I was told to come and see them and they will walk around and show me what they have available. well after driving there I walked in and I was told very bluntly “I don’t have anything I’m keeping what I have.” I was willing to pay too. they should have told me that over the phone so I don’t waste my gas driving there. the inside of the place seemed somewhat organized but the owner seems very cold and pompous.
Super rude and unwelcoming guy not wearing a mask, three words total. Luckily I was just getting my chain sharpened. I’ll risk COVID someplace else from now on. So much for shopping local

Prompt and professional! Recently purchased an SBMM Majesty guitar online and it came in perfect condition with Dubaldo only upgrades, Will definitely recommend them and will be making more purchases in the future. Thanks Dubaldo team!!
Great store! Love the selection of Ernie Ball Music Man instruments.
Phenomenal shop that really personifies customer service! Pete is a great guy to deal and talk shop with. My guitar arrived safe, secure AND quickly. I can’t recommend DuBaldo enough, just give them a call or stop by already!
Great service

Bill = Piano Arts. He knows the instrument inside and out, and inside-out. He thinks outside the box, as well as inside. He did wonders for my old Studio piano, and when I was finally ready to upgrade — I bought my first Grand from Bill. I continue to trust him and turn to him for “all things piano” and highly recommend him.
Bill Pelto is a consummate professional with over 40 years of piano and vocal training experience. He has worked with various titans in the industry and brings a vast wealth of knowledge into his studio. Aside from being one of the most easy going and kind people I’ve had the pleasure to meet, he is also an incredibly effective teacher. I’ve experienced dramatic results in just a few short weeks of lessons at Piano Arts. Whether you want to learn how sing, play the piano or read music, this is the place to go.
Very knowledgeable and great service
14. Tanya’s Piano Lessons
Address: 22 Baxter Rd, Storrs, CT 06268 , Tolland County , Connecticut , United States
Learning with Numan has been an ease of experience especially being a beginner myself. He takes the effort to understand the challenges as a beginner and I am glad to have the opportunity to learn with him.
In order to truly learn music, it has to be fun. Numan Senman of “Upbeat Music” creates fun lesson plans that are easy to follow, and he individualizes his plans per each student’s level of play and experience. Of course, you have to put in the time in order to play any instrument. With Mr. Senman’s teaching experience the learning is definitely easy. Mr. Senman’s fee is affordable.
While I have music experience in the past, I really needed an instructor who was musically versatile. I played many instruments in High School and College and wanted to find 1 teacher that I could work on all my music skills with, instead of having to hire multiple teachers. Mr. Senman is a musical genius. He plays multiple instruments and knows his music theory. You will not be disappointed if you decide to enroll for music lessons with Mr. Senman.

Rented a violin during 2012/2013 school year. Throughout the school year violin needed numerous repairs, therefore, I did not rent from them the following school year. Low and behold as reviewing my bank statements I noted a monthly charge from them. Upon calling and speaking with “Joe” I was told that even though the violin was never returned to me after the last repair, I did not officially return the violin. and the charges can not be or won’t be refunded. Duly note that the violin is and has been with them since June of 2013 and the owner acknowledged this fact. I now know why they were not listed as a rental place by the school system. I would never buy from them again or refer any business their way.
My grandma brought two ukuleles here to be repaired before she passed away. They were from the 1940s and held a lot of sentimental value for me, as they were the first instrument I ever learned to play on. After she passed away, a family member went to retrieve them and the store conveniently had “no record” of them. Scammers and low lifes.
Not bad.

When my 10 yr old wanted to start an instrument, I only thought of Matty’s Music, and my daughter is so happy. I was unable to take her to look into the Baritone Horn, so my mother did. She explained how Matt was beyond helpful and informative in making making the right decision about the instrument. My mother is a hard one to be patient with, but Matt answered all of her questions and concerns. Even the ones my daughter said were silly! Thank you Matt!
Amazing prices great service! Matty is an amazing performer and teacher I would recommend him any day.
Matt is a great music enthusiast whose recording and teaching skills are awesome!
Thanks Matt, you ROCK from the heart
Great service.
Dirty, stuff everywhere, completely disorganized.

Best little record store in CT. Conor and Abbie are so kind and helpful. Thanks guys!
Atmosphere, selection, and prices all 10/10. Both the owners are super nice! This store is such a good addition to Main Street and I can’t wait to come back
Andante Strings played at my mother’s memorial service and they were FABULOUS. Shannon is easy to work with and extremely accommodating. They played all of my father’s favorite songs.
20. Records – The Good Kind
Address: 435 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, CT 06066 , Tolland County , Connecticut , United States
Ive been all over the state of CT and Southern MA and I would have to say the selections the owner Ian has is better than most. He has alot of great records in great condition. Not many CDs or tapes (but who wants those today lol and thats not really how I see the vision of this store) The owner is pretty personable too and will answer any questions you have. There are record players to use if you want to hear it first. And the best thing is that its right around the corner from my house. And now shops at 30 has become my hangout with Reins Deli, Used Books and Vinyl Records…if they could only open a vintage guitar or instrument store and then it would be complete. Lol
Very average place. I’m guessing it’s run by one guy, which is understandable and the main reason im not giving lower stars. Place was very messy and smelled very heavily of cigars (there’s a cigar shop next door but if it was my business I would do something to try and cover that smell). Sold and bought records here. I got very much lowballed on the records I sold and was only offered store credit, but considering I just wanted to get rid of some records taking up space, I don’t care too much. Just know that this is more so a quick flip for records and not a good way to actually sell them. Anything you want a good price for, sell on discogs. Now the buying experience was alot more important to me since I could’ve gotten a penny for each record and not really cared. I bought about 8 records and the prices were slightly above market, which is again understandable considering its a small business. The real issue I have is that nothing is play tested or cleaned. They have a test player set up but I was in a bit of a rush and even with 8 records, it’s alot of time to playtest when you are looking to buy them and go. It looks like they are not testing or cleaning, yet are pricing at slightly above market for VG+. Most reputable places only sell VG or above unless it specifically says on the record. I would say half of the ones I got were VG and the other half were poor. Most of the records were bargin bin, but I paid $25 for one in particular that I’ve been looking for, and was very disappointed that it plays so poorly. I could’ve gotten that one for $20 online in VG+, but I would’ve gladly paid $30 for a VG just to support a local store. My big recommendation would be to put untested/uncleaned stuff in the bargain bins (I understand one guy can’t test and clean everything that comes in) and the high priced stuff ($20+) should all be ultra sonic cleaned and tested or automatically price it at the market price for G instead of VG+. Also please fix that smell. It was pretty overbearing. I would not shop here again in the near future, but will probably check in a year or so to see if they have improved at all.
Helpful staff
Fun place to browse if you’re into vinyl.
You may like the selection. I certainly did. The owner was very pleasant to me until one of his employees was not. Should you opt to bring your own record tote, do NOT use it to carry what you are going to purchase around inside the store. I cannot emphasize enough how important this is.
This store does have a decent selection. However, their pricing is too high. You can do much better elsewhere with equal quality.
