Great company! Geoff is the master!

Top notch sounding audio gear, but unfortunately no customer support, very unreliable. With all due respect to master engineer Geoff, I really regret ever buying a product from aurora audio. My unit now is collecting dust.

My tail is a cautionary tail when dealing with Geoffrey Tanner, and before I go into my experience I what to say that Geoff products and design in audio hardware sound awesome and stand up to hardware both past and present. Geoffs long history in the field of audio design has been full of great achievements and deserve a nod to those achievements and when I first reached out to him he was very responsive and and engaging, and a wonderful chap.

We went though my needs and wants and when my first piece of gear arrived it worked as I expected and even when in my first studio session someone knocked a mic stand into the equipment and one of the pots got damaged I reached out to Geoff and he replaced it with out cost, but I did get a scolding from him. Which I fond enduring to the man and his commitment to the product.

So Twenty years later the right channel went down on my GTQ2 ( Great Pre Amp) I called him on the phone and arranged to send it to him for repair. This is were it starts to go wrong for this was three years ago yes you read it right three years. I have sent so mean emails in regards to the repair i have lost count. Now Geoff is in his mid 70s and in the last few years as moved location back to his home his brother as past away and business is not what it was. These were all excuses Geoff has given me with parts delay, finance problems, working alone, can not afford shipping etc.

The shipping I offered to pay for and offered to arrange pickup and ……No response. So if you are looking to spend your hard earned money Geoff is not the person to buy from at 75 he is not going to repairing you equipment in closing I would like to say I’m not going to get my $2500 US investment back and if you are looking to perches new hardware i would like to recommend AudioScape .US, Tegalar Audio .Eur, Stam Audio Chili

I cannot thank Lusine enough for the care and dedication she is showing my daughter at every piano lesson. I had a fantastic experience buying a new grand piano from Piano Masters. Gregory and Steve went above and beyond to help me find the right piano and make sure I was happy with it. I wanted some custom additions to the piano including wireless connection to my computer/tablet. They worked with third party vendors to make sure what I was getting would meet my needs. They found a superior system for muting the piano and informed me of the options. They also made sure the system was installed and delivered with exceptional quality. I could tell that every step of the way Gregory and Steve were committed to making sure I would be happy with the result. And now that the piano is here I can say I am thrilled with the result. Greg and Steve sourced the perfect grand piano for us and took the time to explain their process of; refinishing, regulating, tuning, and other detailed work performed to give us what looks and sounds like a brand-new piano!
They also helped arrange special care transport and gave us recommendations for reputable tuners in our area as we live outside of their service radius.
Their personal pride and enthusiasm for high quality and customer satisfaction came through in every conversation. Our experience was absolutely wonderful!

Decent goodwill, usually good selection of items. Stay off the couches, serious bedbug infestation one time!!

Pretty good selection. The racks were really messy. It’s always so stuffy in there too, as the store’s ventilation could be better. The clothes were a lot nicer than i expected.

Typical dirty Goodwill a couple rare finds some cute purple flower mugs, some nice memory foam pillows, some nice signs, even golf carrying bags for your clubs, a couple printers, a hamster cage, some electronics and a bit of jewelry. Nothing outstanding but they had a bit of a variety.

The man working inside the store on Friday, 7/22 was very friendly and helpful. However, they guy taking donations had an attitude and Was very rude. When I left, I even told him to have a good day, He ignored me, turned his back, and went inside.

The two men at the donation door were very rude. The one told me he couldn’t take my items because they were used. News flash… you work at Goodwill… it’s a second hand, used everything store. The other man, the one wearing a WWII Veteran hat who was most likely in his 40s (that’s called stolen valor) called me aggressive because I unloaded an item as he was arguing with me. So much for this being a charity. Typical Tujunga.

Not organized or clean, many things thrown about. Prices and employees are great.

Parking sucks as the lot is badly designed. Service was slow, food was wrong first time and didn’t come out at the same time to the extent my wife was nearly done before I received anything. To add insult I had to chase down a waitress to get items they plain forgot. Food was ok, just forget drink refills or even a courtesy “is everything ok”. I’d guess they don’t ask because they know everything is not ok.

Our kids love both of their teachers at Fun Music. Our 8 yr old is learning the flute, which is new for her, but additionally has been working with Ms. Shiela for over a year on the piano and we are so amazed by the progress.

Our son works with Ryan and he is also such a great teacher specifically because he adapts to meet the child’s style and needs in pursuit of teaching children music. For our son, Ryan has been teaching him piano but he sometimes struggles with focus so Ryan has had him compose and write music and this has been such a great way to engage him and get him to work with music differently. Our son was able to play his original composition at the Valentines recital this month! Overall, we are very happy with Fun Music’s program.

Max is a very patient teacher and if a student isn’t understanding a concept he switches gears to try a different way of explaining a topic, which is great. He also does a wonderful job of making piano fun and is very encouraging.

Just started guitar. Sarah has helped me get started. I’ll get back to you after my opening at Carnegie Hall.

This place has a great selection of acoustic and electric guitars and a friendly staff willing to work with you. I always stop by when visiting LA.

One of the greatest neatest organize music store I’ve ever entered, way better than big corp stores. Amazing Inventory top brand names with great price. Awesome crew as well definitely coming back. Support small shops.

What a great independent music store. I drive 30 minutes each way to take my guitars for repair since I haven’t been able to find anyone good near me.

I’ve lived in the area since 1994. I’ve had a 2013 Gibson LPJ set up here ( Thumbs up Win !) before and have bought strings, cables, bass lessons for my oldest and guitar lessons for my youngest. It’s great to have a neighborhood music store within minutes from my house. I play 7 instruments and have played guitar since 1967. Good vibes with GTT up until today when I came in to purchase an EHX Attack Decay Pedal. Normally I buy pedals from Guitar Center or Reverb but I really wanted this pedal “NOW”. Everything was as usual, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable service but after my purchase I quickly asked if the pedal was “New” and the sales clerk immediately replied yes. I opened the box and saw the plastic bag was faded and wrinkled as opposed to the bag that held the P/S. This would mean it’s possibly used, or a demo. The kids had to get home in a hurry so I thought I’d look at it again at home. If a pedal isn’t new and it malfunctions in some way then?? As I thought it wasn’t new but an “open box” purchase. I called back and GTT verified this and told me the pedal had been kept in the display case without it’s box which makes total sense. I’m keeping the pedal for one because the retail price for this reissue is unbelievable. I don’t think I can return it anyway because of store policy. Guitar Center doesn’t do this nor Sam Ash or any other Music store I’ve bought from unless it’s the last unit and they will tell you if the unit is not “brand new”. It’s not a big deal but I feel there was some deception and being 65 yrs old I feel I was being judged as a naive non or beginner guitar player. Looks like I’ll have to be on my toes and take my time on future purchases at GTT. Again it’s the deception or lack of info that is concerning me. This pedal is so sweet!

OK store but they should get rid of that Connor kid. He’s very rude to customers and acts like he is better than everyone.

Terrible place. That fat kid Connor was very rude to me. Never going here again.
