Amazing fast quality service. Super friendly. Took my daughters flute to be serviced, turn over time was so quick. And they called and let me know what needed done before they did it. With a price quote; that quite honestly was very reasonable, in my opinion! Thank you soooo sooo much !!!! Will be back for sure!
Super place to get a tune up, a new set of tunes, or listen to some good tunes! Excellent staff, services and instrument selection.
No cash refunds only in store credit. Bummer
VERY HELPFUL STAFF.
Cool pianos
Put an order in 2 different times for a replacement part for my son’s bells set in January and again in February. After June we still hadn’t received the part. My son’s grade in band was affected because his bells couldn’t attach to it’s stand for concerts Won’t ever return. Actually kinda made him hate band.
I’m used to great local businesses willing to help you out. Unfortunately this isn’t one of them. When I went in to see if I can test my guitar’s amp system using one of their amplifiers, the owner instantly became hostile and deriding. “Since I didn’t buy my guitar from their place, why should they let me use one of their amps for free?” Obviously they aren’t known for customer service since there wasn’t another customer in sight. I mentioned this obvious fact and left. A different music store a few blocks north was kind enough to let me use one of their amps, and the owners even spent time explaining how the different amps work. While I spent $20 at their place on guitar accessories, I wasn’t looking for an amp that day. But guess which store I would go to when I’m looking to buy an amp?
Jon at Mountain Ash is an excellent luthier. He handles my guitar set-ups, mods, pickup installations, and even brought my old German upright bass back from the dead. This was an extensive repair involving the re-attaching of the broken scroll, several crack repairs, and inlaying fingerboard position markers at my request. His work is top notch and his repair rates are more than fair. Highly recommended!
I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional service I’ve received from Mountain Ash Guitar in Twin Falls, Idaho. As a passionate bass enthusiast with instruments ranging from $300 to high-end models, finding a trustworthy luthier was a daunting task when I moved to Twin Falls. I used to drive a minimum of 4 hours for service or repairs on my beloved basses, unwilling to entrust them to just anyone.
Enter Jon at Mountain Ash Guitar, a true gem in my backyard. Jon’s integrity, dedication, and timely delivery on every job, regardless of size, have made him my go-to luthier. His profound knowledge of the bass and a genuine love for quality music and instruments set him apart.
I wholeheartedly trust Jon with all my instruments, from the most affordable to the most precious. I enthusiastically recommend him and Mountain Ash Guitar to anyone seeking repairs or services for their aged instruments or considering a custom build. Jon’s expertise and commitment make him a rare find, a Diamond for sure. I can’t express enough how fortunate I am to have found him.

Chris was and is always excellent to deal with. This my favorite music store.
The owner was so helpful and kind. What a great way to run a business! I don’t have many music needs, but when I do, Dunkley Music will get my business!
In the last few years, this place has really stepped up. Their line-up of guitars and amps has improved. The stock is not enormous but they keep a good balance. They are friendly and helpful.

They bought my guitar and I was very impressed with the service.
I love this place they have great quality instruments. Nice people I bought my acoustic guitar here 8 years ago they helped me find just what I needed and cut me a killer deal cause I was low on cash but needed this guitar for a gig in the coming week. Would highly recommend this place for beginners.
I have known Calvin and Jenny since I waa a child and they have always been good to me. He is great at guitar work and their place is top notch..
I will never shop this store again! I bought three items for Christmas gifts. When I made the purchases I told the owner I was buying them for my son who lived in CA and I did not know if he had them. He said no problem. It turned out he already had two of the items so I went back to return them. The owner charged me a restocking fee. He charged me a fee because I used a credit card. He charged me both for the debit and the credit! I only bought from them as I wanted to support a local business. It would have been a lot easier and cheaper for me if I had bought on line as I had to mail the gifts to California. Due to him charging me this fee I will NEVER buy anything from this store again.
This was so wrong!!!!! This store sets a bad example for local businesses. No wonder people would rather shop on line. Sad very sad.
The internet says opens at 930. It does not open until 1000. So, this really just a 2 star review if their door. It is adequate.
I was in need of a violin string last minute and went here to grab one as they opened 30 mins before the other two in town. Unfortunately they opened 20 mins late and didn’t have the right violin string. I’ll stick to the other stores.
