Friendly employees and great selection. Nice little hole in the wall. Recommend for your beverage needs.
Lots of choices
Okay little beverage store here on Tybee island. Prices are okay and they have your typical selection. Don’t go in there looking for expensive high end bottles of liquour. They do have all of your party needs to enjoy your time on tybee. If you are like me, it is cheaper to buy a bottle of smirnoff than it is to buy a couple of drinks at the bar!
They have a decent selection of liquor
Wide selection, kind helpful people
AVOID THIS BUSINESS
I was in this store last week to purchase a bottle of wine while on vacation. When i entered the store the clerk (an older man) said “welcome to naked lady Thursdays! Take off your dress!” Then he kept saying “well it was worth a shot” when i went to pay he said “that will be 14.95 and your dress! Take it off!”
I wish I would have thought to return what we bought from this store the entire time we were in Tybee.

Very very nice shop. Went looking for something specifically but found more enjoyment and excitement speaking with Bill and his wife. They are the most down to earth and coolest people you would ever want to meet. I will be back just to see how they are doing and to hear a little bit more about Cali!!!
Had the pleasure of shopping at @hightidesurfshops located off of coastal Tybee Georgia! They have A large selection of board Rentals, an even larger BOARD ROOM with all the top brands! Great apparel selection and the best part is their team! I was assisted by the 3 ladies there tonight and all of them were top notch! Customer service stood out and made a visitor feel like a local! Mad love to the entire team over there! Bummed I didn’t get to meet shop dog Otis but he was probably off jumping the mayor with his loveable smooshy face! Aloha!
The BEST surf shop on the island!! Great service and a wonderful, high-quality selection.
We came in for rain coats. After leaving and heading to Savannah we realized the jackets we purchased were only water resistant not waterproof. They don’t do refunds here but were very sweet about letting us exchange for some other things which wasn’t hard because even if you don’t surf you will find adorable clothes and jewelry.
Cool stuff… customer service was okay…
Discount shop
Never be back. They sent young man upstairs while we were shoppi g yo watch us. The feeling was not to help us but to make sure we were not stealing. 72 and 59 years young. No need to steal hzd enough cash on us to buy anything we wanted. But not there. Thank u very much. Took our money and credit cards elsewhere. Frequent visotors to tybee. Very uncomfort le
All other stores welcomed us and our money
2 older women working while I was shopping were extremely rude and stand offish. What really caused this bad review and caught my attention is that they told two younger girls who were waiting indoors for their parents to pick them up, that they had to wait outside and did not let them look around while waiting. The younger girls were well behaved and not causing any problems.
The staff are exceedingly insolent and display a lack of concern for customers. I have been here multiple times, and my wife and I were treated with disrespect each time. I am an experienced surfer/local of Savannah, and all other surf shops I have been to are exceptionally better than this one. If you truly want to make a profit and continue to succeed as a business, I would ask that you re-evaluate, and train your workers on treating customers right. For starters, Chick-Fil-A is a great example.
6. St. Michael’s Thrift Shop
Address: 713 Butler Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328 , Tybee Island , Georgia , United States
Muy poco turístico .
El acceso a la playa está lejos..
Closed for covid! Regular “closed” signs at the store just appear to indicate that it isn’t open on that day of the week, and there is nothing online about being closed for covid. Came back on Wednesday, paid the meter, and then was told they wouldn’t be opening. Not happy.
7. The Surfing Goat Coffee & Bagel Bar
Address: 15b Tybrisa St, Tybee Island, GA 31328 , Tybee Island , Georgia , United States
Very nice little cafe at Tybee Island. Great espressos and bagels and chill vibes.
This coffee shop was the highlight of my trip to Tybee (aside from the beach). I stopped in for coffee and ended up taking an hour break from my mom duties. The staff was sooooo pleasant, the environment is so relaxed and welcoming. The food was just as good as everything else. I got a build your own sandwich for my husband and he even said it was the best food he had on the island. I personally had the drip coffee with an added flavor and an iced green tea. Additionally, I made a salad out of all of the veggie options for sandwiches. The price is worth the service! I left feeling I made new friends on the island.
These bagels had me lifted bruh
Love the service & atmosphere. But one bagel sandwich should not be $20 after tax & tip. The price was a little shocking even for tybee.
Basic coffee and bagel — what’s not to like? Woefully slow so expect to be deeply committed to “island time”.
Bagel sandwiches were decent but two sandwiches and two regular coffees cost us $36.
Just watched the employees here throw the trash all over the street. I called the girl and the guy in the white dodge ram out and they didn’t care. DO NOT TRASH OUR ISLAND
$35 for 4 bagels and 2 coffees. None of the bagels were toasted, asked for cream cheese on the side and it was all over the bagels and they were store bought bagels. Overall experience wasn’t worth the $.
This place is horrible, the bacon is undercooked and the eggs are just cut up hard boiled eggs. The bagels were also $11, not worth it. Low key messy in there to. Mid establishment. Also all the 5 star reviews are definitely people who work there I can’t imagine having a good meal there.
8. Tybean Coffee Bar
Address: 1213 US-80, Tybee Island, GA 31328 , Tybee Island , Georgia , United States
The staff, the ambience, and the coffee are fantastic. Expect lines as “I scream, we scream, we all want Tybean!”
Great coffee, excellent service, nice people.
It’s easy to get in and out quickly or take you time and hang on the deck. I’ll be back…
Cappuccino was perfect. Service was friendly and swift! Great local coffee spot
Why not look and shop local artists while enjoying your morning cup of joe!
Cafe Americano was good
The blueberry muffin was Costco or Sam’s
Service was Horrible.
Everything says you open at 7:30am. I came at 7:50; it looked closed. I called; it also said you opened at 7:30. I walked to the storefront. That is the only place it said the store didn’t open till 10:00am. Disappointed and still needing caffeine.
Gave a chocolate mocha instead of white like we asked for very disappointed
9. Mi Vida
Address: 1315 Butler Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328 , Tybee Island , Georgia , United States
Absolutely wonderful staff, food is fresh and amazing. So much flavor! I’ll be back
Yum! Loved my Sammy! Fresh, fast and the owner asked everyone how they were doing, brought me extra napkins. Pretty inside too.
Walking distance from where we stay when on Tybee. People are friendly, the atmosphere is casual, and the food is good.
I wish they had opened at 7am vs 7:30am, but island time is a bit different from what I’m used to.
No decaf coffee and we ordered take out, when we got home one of the pastries we had paid for was missing ☹️
The service here is great. The coffee was good but unfortunately the low country toast was not good at all. It was very bland. It had cold shrimp, cold tomatoes, and no sauce at all. I had to put salt and pepper on it to eat it. Maybe this was just the wrong thing to order
Good, healthy food. Pet friendly.
Vegetarian options: Many options.
Not sure if they know how the food service industry works. Me and my wife ordered a breakfast sandwich and an acai bowl. My sandwich came to the table in like 3 min, my wife’s on the other hand was 25min later. What she ordered was a smoothie in a bowl. For God sake unless you like eating alone don’t bother. Just a bunch of children trying to play restaurant
$12 for this small piece of avocado toast and four small pieces of fruit? It should be two pieces of toast and an apple size portion of fruit.
Sorry but this is silly, won’t be coming back and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.
Take out for picnic at beach. High strung. Middling quality.
10. Coastal Empire Records
Address: 6707 Johnny Mercer Blvd, Savannah, GA 31410 , Tybee Island , Georgia , United States
Great selection, and the gentleman that runs the shop is super friendly and helpful and all around cool
Ken and Shirlene are two of the most wonderful people and you can tell they take pride in their shop. I didn’t get a chance to visit this year as I ran out of time, but will definitely be back next year! Definitely give this place a shot when visiting Savannah!
Best Record store in Georgia!
Bastante bien surtida, encontré un par de cosas interesantes, de las disquerías que vi en Savannah la que más me gusto.
The owner was knowledgeable and honest. The records were in good condition and organized well. Some great prices, some a little higher, but overall a great selection and a nice place. We did purchase a few great finds. Plus, I got free sucker
Probably would have gotten 5 stars if they had a public bathroom.
Good stuff
Not worth the drive. Below average selection. Make sure you look at the vinyl before making your purchase.
