I had the pleasure of listening to Nick play at the Red Lion last week. WOW! Amazing musician, very versatile but really delivered with a shine when playing some of the folk / classic rock stuff. I threw him a few curve ball requests, all which were delivered with grace and passion. Keep it up, mate! Hope to see you around when we visit Vail again.

This is a cozy hole in the wall mountain music shop. The shopkeep was super nice and helpful. There was definitely a huge selection of vinyl. They did have a selection of new & old comic books as well. Prices were as expected. Has a small collection of comic figures/collectibles as well. They are bursting from their seams – be prepared to dig and you might just find a gem (or two).

I walked into this little comic shop and I was definitely excited to see the number of comic books they had available. The guy who handles the comics there asked what I was looking for and I told him. At which point he went to the back to browse through his piles and piles of books to find what I had told him I was in search of. After locating some of the books I wanted/needed, he proceeded to pull up eBay for the current prices that the books were being sold for. Needless to say, my excitement quickly subsided. IF I WANTED TO SHOP ON EBAY, I’D DO IT FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN HOME! The guy who handles the comics clearly doesn’t realize the point of going into a LCS; which is to find those HTF/Rare/Unique hidden gems. Anybody can pay top dollar for those books, they simply need to do exactly what he did…go online! Now if the “Jonah Hill in 40 Year Old Virgin” moment wasn’t bad enough, I decided to ask about some modern issues that I needed and would be willing to pay cover for. After looking through about 1 and a half stacks of books (maybe 100 or so comics), the guy says to me “oh, those are in storage”…..for every book I bring up after. Storage being that back room and according to him, 500k books upstairs. I don’t doubt he has that many up there, seeing as how he’s asking top dollar for every book and it’s apparently too much effort to go into the back room or upstairs to locate what the customer is asking for. I was prepared to look through his collection and spend an absurd amount of money when I walked in there, but in the end, I paid him $20 for about 5 cover price moderns. My guess is the 4.9 stars this place currently has must be based on the vinyl part of the store (which did look impressive), but as far as the comic book section goes, stay home, sit in your favorite recliner, kick your feet up, crack a beer, pull up eBay and shop to your hearts content. It sure as hell beats driving to Minturn, CO for what I experienced. You ever even heard of Minturn!? Yeah, me neither, and I’m from Colorado!

So stoked to have a good coffee shop and work space in Vail! Really cool to see a partnership between a few locals to create more options in Vail by operating out of the same location. Come for coffee, breakfast, or lunch, come back at night for the best tequilaria in Vail.
So happy to stumble upon this place on a random quiet Sunday exploring Vail between seasons. Such a cool vibe!! The bartender/barista was fantastic and friendly, the place is warm and cozy, and the drinks are delish too! Great spot to grab something to sip and a cushy window seat to people watch 🙂 Highly recommended!
I stopped at Two Arrows on my way from Rifle Falls State Park to Denver for a quick coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The atmosphere was great and the coffee tasted amazing. But what really made the visit special was the exceptional customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor. Their positive mood and charisma made my visit all the more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend Two Arrows for anyone passing through Veil, specialties bar or in need of a quick pick-me-up!

It was my first time at this coffee shop, and I had high expectations because of the cute aesthetic. The employees were nice when we ordered, but when we asked a question a few minutes later regarding our order, they became quite rude and short in their responses. As for the food & coffee, one of the orders was messed up, and the other coffees weren’t very tasteful. The bagel was too chewy, which was definitely not enjoyable. As for the acai bowls, the taste was good, but the granola was stale and rock hard, which took away from the good taste. Finally, the employee making the food didn’t cover his nose with his mask, which made us uncomfortable. Overall, will not be going back.

The store manager is a lovely gentlemen who delivered my mittens to me while I was dining at the Swiss Chalat at the Sonnenalp hotel. Wonderful customer service.
Vicki was very helpful in describing the mens Descente swiss ski pants(fit is true to size even though they are sold as slim fit) and she made sure the transaction went well from start to finish. Keep up the good work guys !!

The worst place at Vail. Very bad service, I had to leave because they don’t care to provide service. Also bad choices of food… Vail is a very nice place and Pepi is the only bad place there.
Rented skis from this establishment. The older bald “manager” was rude, dismissive, and inappropriate. Did not listen to a single thing me or my party said regarding our ski preferences. When questioned about the comfort and size of skis/boosts his response was “I have been doing this for a very long time, I know what is best for you”. He ended up putting me and my party of all different ski levels in beginner skis. Prices were extremely high. I ended up returning my skis and renting from another shop who listened to my preferences and took they time to properly fit me and give me the appropriate gear. All the other staff was kind and respectful, but the “manager” made for a terrible experience.
7. 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirits

My little group had an absolute blast on our tour with Connor! He was very personable and entertaining, but most of all he was very knowledgeable. We learned how to properly taste whiskey – it’s fascinating how our palettes can pick up so many different notes. Definitely recommend!!
The whiskey is great and the staff is fun. The place has a really cool vibe and isn’t as jam packed as some of the places in Vail village.

Good spirits, however, its a tourist trap. Expensive tastings ($12 for 2 oz), pricey pre-mixed cocktails($16), staff is pretty arrogant. You can buy their bottles cheaper at the local liquor store… Price gouging at the source. Won’t return. Again, good booze, but unimpressive experience.

We walked in for a tasting with the legitimate intention to buy a bottle. The woman who served us was quite rude and treated us as if we weren’t gonna buy a bottle. Eventually she just handed it off to another person behind the counter. We bought their most expensive bottle. As we were leaving my dad tipped them, thanked the man, and in order to differentiate said “thanks Ms.” to the woman behind the counter. She repeated “Ms.” and rolled her eyes. Look I realize my dad could’ve just said thanks, but he was trying to delineate so he could communicate to her and no one else behind the bar. The fact she was rude back was confusing. My dad processed it for 20 minutes because he genuinely wants to treat people with kindness but sometimes doesn’t get why people get offended. This was stupid and really wasn’t a pleasant experience. Sucks because the whiskey is pretty good.
Can confirm that staff is a bit arrogant like they have the holy grail of whiskey. It is good but have had better. Also I swear the bartender acts like someone slapped his mom. You are in a tourist area, get better customer service and maybe it will be more enjoyable.

I love this gallery! All of the pieces are so beautiful and unique. It’s a great mix of jewelry and sculpture. I actually got my wedding set here, they helped my husband make a custom piece. If you’re looking for a mountain souvenir that you can keep forever, this is your place. I can’t wait to come back and get more jewelry!

Worst expirience at the jewelry shop ever! I dropped off my ring for repair and about a week later they called me saying it’s ready for pick up. When I stopped by they couldn’t find the ring! Their question was if possibly I was supposed to pick it up at the different location. No! I want to be able to pick up my ring where I dropped it off! Few hours later they called me saying it’s in Avon but they will ship it next day to vail. 3 days later I go to pick it up and a girl behind the desk doesn’t have any idea about the ring and where to look for it! So she had to make the calls trying to locate it. After all that hassle they wouldn’t apologize or knock the price off. One of the Vail businesses that I would tell any local to avoid!
9. Sera Schools

Excellent food and variety. We shared several items starting with the corn soup which had great flavor and a nice little kick on the back end. The heirloom tomato and avocado salad was outstanding. For our entrée we had the Filet coupled with the spicy green beans and gruyere risotto. Steak was perfectly prepared, and the flavors of the sides did not disappoint. We finished the meal with both affogato and chocolate grenache tort for a little extra indulgence – outstanding. Food was perfect and the service was Top Notch. Michael and the entire team made the experience.
Just had a wonderful dinner here at Slope Room tonight. They have interesting cocktails and the food was very well prepared. We ordered the glazed pork belly featuring a sambal cabbage and sesame aioli, the seared salmon with miso and nori dumplings, the striped bass, side of brussel sprouts, and the persimmon chicory dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. With the salmon entree being our favorite.
Huge shout out to our waiter! Unfortunately, we did not catch his name but on our bill he was listed as PM B. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, he was very attentive to giving us the best service. This was all while not only taking our order, but making drinks, serving our dishes, and clearing tables. Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, when it used to be called Terre Bistro. When it changed its name and remodeled, it completely left a good dining experience behind. First, the bartender acted like he was doing me a favor by taking my drink order. Second, the food prices are extremely high, but the portions are small and the food is simply tasteless! Cauliflower is the cheapest ingredient there is. The cauliflower appetizer we ordered had one piece of cauliflower in it, artistically cut and displayed. We ordered porterhouse that was so bland that we had to drench it in steak sauce just to give it some flavor. Lastly, the waiter was awful. He was either inexperienced or simply bad. I will never ever return to this restaurant and, unless you like getting ripped off, I would suggest you do the same.
Rotten way to run a restaurant you have jumphoops just to get to the inside part of where the place is then you have to standup bent over to read a menu one person at a time to order! Well other people are Waitting there turns! You have to move heavy tables to get yourself seated. Then no one ever came by to ask if they good refill our drinks! Not worth the money nope it was Horriable. O and the restrooms are another floor away!
Awful dining experience – poor service with no interest in our comfort.

I don’t know how the employees don’t go mad or lose all meaning for Christmas since they have to listen to Christmas music all year – but hey – not my problem. It gives the place nice atmosphere!
I had a great experience. The atmosphere is great and the selection is vast. The staff helped me pick out a unique group of items perfect for family and friends. I highly recommend.

Was really looking forward to exploring this store, but was a huge letdown and due to the behavior of the worker didn’t even bother checking their inventory. Came by at around 1pm in the afternoon to a sign that said back in 30 minutes, but with no time of when they left or when they would be expected back. When I came back an hour later, I said it would be helpful for us customers to know when you left or when you would be back so that we could plan. I was met with a curt, “well don’t you think I deserve a lunch”. And I said of course everyone deserves a break and rest, but would be useful to know. “Well just do the time from when you saw the sign then!” So instead of buying my souvenirs and gifts (planned on a spending a few hundred dollars easy), simply left for many of the other stores that don’t abuse their customers.
12. Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater (The Amp)

One of the gems of our valley. Catch concerts here that you would pay 5x the cost to see at Red Rocks. Seating under the awning up close to the stage is awesome, but I’m a big fan of the lawn seats. Bring a picnic, a blanket, and some legless camp chairs and enjoy a show with friends or family!
Bravo Colorado is a Colorado treasure.

Beautiful location, hell with a 53 foot trailer. Have to jump curbs, and go down a very narrow paver track with lights, rocks, and vegitation on the the sides. Also a bit of a blind side back to the dock.
The venue is beautiful and the music was excellent. However, the facility has a huge sun problem affecting about 25% of the covered seating area. The sun comes in at an angle beneath the overhead structure and bakes your head, neck, shoulders and back. EXTREMELY hot and uncomfortable.
Saw Dispatch here for their opening show on their biggest tour. Great venue in the mountains and meet a bunch of new friends. Drinks are kinda pricey.
I love seeing concerts at the Ford Amphiteater because it is a nice facility with plenty of room. Every seat in the house is a good seat, you can see the stage and hear the music well from everywhere. The sound system is good and I never feel like it is cranked up so loud that I can’t enjoy listening to the music. The bottom of the amphitheater is cemented and fitted with comfortable chairs for seating. The top half is a grass hill which you can access using stairs. The grassy hill is really comfortable and well kept so I am comfortable wearing a dress while sitting on a blanket. They have spacious and clean bathrooms on either side of the venue and concession stand that sells snacks, food, drinks, wine and beer. The backdrop of the stage is a nice garden and you never forget you’re at an outdoor concert but always feel really comfortable. This is a totally different experience than going to most concert venues and I used to highly recommend seeing a concert here, but now I’m not allowed to go.
Have been going to the AMP for 20 years. Last night the sound simply sucked. It was way too loud and distorted. The sound engineers were overdriving the speakers significantly. Not worth the money.
I paid $900 bucks for 4 front row seats, and this was our view. Who sets up back line equipment in front of the most expensive seats in the venue. Super bush league, and thoughtless for the patrons. .

The Little Diner is located inside of a building on the Circle. Our waiter Max was great! I had a hamburger the burger was hot and cooked to perfection. The bun made the burger along with the fried jalapeños and chipotle mayo. The Rueben was delicious, nice chunks of corned beef, not some thin shaved meat. Great sandwich! The club was great! My granddaughter had a crepe and a side of bacon, both great. The bacon is cooked to perfection and it’s thick. Love this place for breakfast and lunch.

This place was nice and close to the main lifts and a cozy place to stop by for breakfast before hitting the slopes. Sunnie was helpful for giving us tips and idea to do for this week getaway, as she knew people that snowmobile around and can offer tours around

Wanted to love it, staff is super friendly. First time we visited was during the GoPro games and it was very busy but they got us in no problem for breakfast but the pork chop had so much pepper on it was tough to eat. Went back the following weekend and my wife and I went with the hash but again so much salt and pepper you couldn’t eat it. Server was super nice and got us each a pancake that was delicious but not what we wanted. Maybe we where just unlucky the two times that we went.
My family and I went to the diner. We were a party of five my wife went to park the car. They were not seat us until she got back I had two kids one of them had one had a broken leg and the diner would not seat us because of “company policy”. I pleaded my case to the host but he had concern. No empathy at all!
Decent food. Horrible service. Does not do Togo orders or preorders. New managment needed.

Stopped in for a beer to help myself relax after driving thru the mountains for the first time ever. This little brewery was a perfect stop. It was a cool, clean little place with a beautiful view of the mountains. All at like 11,500 ft elevation. The bartendar was very friendly as I tried several different beers and asked questions about their beers. Beer was very tasty!!! I even bought some beer to bring home. Worth a stop if passing by, but call and figure out a way to avoid paying for parking in thier underground garage because it is expensive. There are kind of in a small shopping complex area.
The beers are good. I’ve been to their main location before.
I do have a problem with the tap list though. Of 12 beers on tap a winter ale is the darkest they have? It’s winter, where are the browns, porters, and stouts?
Nice place to have a drink. Abracadabra was pretty good. It gets busy after the lifts close. They had a 3-piece folk band playing early afternoon on a Saturday (name was Danger Mountain), they were awesome.

Worst experience ever. Showed up at 9:30 pm right before 10 pm closing. Not sure the employee title. Point is he said we are closed and I am out of here. We had a party of 10. He continued to comment that it is the managers decision on whether to stay open until the 10 pm closing or not. Very disrespectful and dissatisfied with his response and service. Warren Thomas and Greg Sagan were identified as the managers. Definitely not coming back here.
Jonny Magambo Band killed it at our wedding! I had no idea they were going to play the father/daughter dance song live, as well as my husband and I’s first dance live. They brought the energy and kept our guests going (for 5 hours!). 10/10 recommend this band!
The All Occasions Band was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad it’s the band we booked for our daughter’s wedding reception! The musicianship of all the band members was phenomenal, Johnny’s leadership exceptional, and a great time was had by all!
Johnny and his band/crew were exceptional from start to finish. They showed up on time, if not a little early to setup and sound check and they were SO much fun! They had the entire room up and dancing, even the G-ma who never does. 🙂 They are professional, courtieous, play the room and have fun doing it! They were awesome!
