This place is amazing!! I went to go get glasses for my mom and they made it so easier for her by having a Spanish speaking associate to help translate for her.
Everyone has greeted me with great customer service skills! Thanks. Newbie “
My young teenage kids really enjoy their lessons here. All the instructors they have had have been great. The studio is well run and everyone is very nice. Glad to have this in our community.
Madeline loves her music lessons. The only reason I am rating four stars vs five, is due to the lack of schedule flexibility. There needs to be another option for makeup lessons besides the weekend. Other than that, you guys are awesome!!
The Music Studio Atlanta has good teachers for weekly lessons. Where this operation falls SEVERELY short is in the production aspect for recitals – properly managing audio equipment and basic instrument set-up. Recitals are the primary platform where students get to showcase their talents, and at a minimum should be managed by competent individuals with audio troubleshooting experience and a baseline knowledge of how instruments should be tailored to each performance. As a parent and audience member, I should not have to leave my seat to hold a kick drum in place for a performer, while the Music Studio staff looks on as if I am a member of their staff. We are beyond dissatisfied and will be taking our money and child’s talent to a more suitable environment where passion for music, professionalism and technical knowledge are on full display at all times.

I have a 1980’s era Steinberger GM1T that was really in need of a complete overhaul after 30 plus years of usage. I could not think of a better place I could trust to leave this guitar in the hands of. They did a very thorough and amazing job at bringing my guitar back to its former glory. It looked and played like brand new when they were done with it! They are also a great place to buy guitars and accessories when needed. I could not recommend this place anymore than I possibly can!
Wendell is the man! Extremely knowledgeable about all things guitar tech, from electronics and maintenance all the way to woodwork. My guitars always feel like they have a new lease on life after passing by his hands. As a bonus, Wendell can *shred*.
Wendell refurbished my husband’s cherished Steinberger guitar. The workmanship was outstanding and blew us away! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to perform this kind of work and highly recommend Wendell’s Music for all refurbishment needs and guitar purchases. They’re by far the best in Marietta & probably Georgia. I’d give them 6 stars if I could!

Great vinyl record store in the Battery Atlanta. Great price on used vinyl, even sealed vinyl is reasonably priced. Be prepared to spend some time here and search through their collection. I have found some gems, most of the time under $10. Everything I have purchased here so far has played, which is a plus especially when you are buying used albums. Dont overlook the $1 bin, I have found some rare gems here. Employees are fine with you just searching, and they are very friendly.
Great vinyl record store
Friday night different artists & cover bands perform.
They had so many awesome records. Can’t wait to go back and get more.
Nice nostalgic place for those that enjoyed the days of LP or vinyl records
Cool store with lots of selection.
First time visit on a Wednesday afternoon. The owner’s sitting near the front with three other people and a dog discussing promotions for an upcoming music event; no acknowledgement of my entrance, atmosphere seemed cold and aloof (strike one).
After perusing briefly, I approach the owner to ask if they buy vinyl and, if so, could I bring a crate in. He said yes… and when I went out and brought it in I was told, “Just put it over there…” (pointing to the floor by the dog… strike two).
As I continued looking, they’re still discussing promotions with one guy blithely flipping through a few LPs in the crate. Twenty minutes later, with other stops to make and cognizant of the fact that they obviously couldn’t be bothered, I told them I had to leave. I mean, I would say they acted like I was an imposition to them, but I don’t think they were even THAT cognizant of the few customers in the shop… as they say in The Battery, three strikes: you’re out.
To be fair, their stock wasn’t too bad and their prices didn’t seem crazy. In fact, I MIGHT have considered a purchase otherwise… but it cost me $$$ in the parking meter for nothing in return but a cold shoulder, and they can’t touch Fantasyland, Wuxtry or any of the other more established record shops in the ATL area… so why bother?
Not greeted when entered. Not thanked for coming when we exited. Lots of vinyl records, CDs, tapes, DVDs, all genres of music. They also sell turn tables (record players), etc. Not customer service oriented. Not sure if I would return. 2 STARS for having a nice store and a variety of old school entertainment choices.
The owner didn’t greet my husband or me and was very rude when we did communicate.
He never even acknowledged us, never asked us did we need any help, and when it was time to pay, he just motioned for my husband to come to the other counter and slid his debit card on the table as opposed to placing it in his hands.
I hate we spent any money with them, but I was in such a great mood to finally be out of the house due to COVID that I didn’t realize the way we were treated until we had already left. We will not be back and I would not recommend.
