I LOVE Grace Recording Studio! Bob is amazing to work with. He knows how to work with you and your voice to bring out your best and make you shine. He is very patient and knowledgeable. And his studio is beautiful and sophisticated. Amazing studio mics! And he has a mini monitor in the vocal booth with you, so not only can you hear but also see when to come in on your part! I am so lucky to have worked with Bob at Grace Recording. And cheers to many many more fantastic recording sessions!
Grace Recording Studio is the most modern and well run studio in Hawaii … and it just so happens to be here on Maui. The quality of the equipment is top of the line and working with Bob is great. I can’t recommend Grace Recording Studio enough. Don’t waist your time anywhere else.
The grounds of the recording studio located upslope of Kihei, Maui immediately invites you with aloha and sets the tone that can only draw out the best in recording artists. Bob Plotnik makes everything seem so easy, untimidating, combining that laid back Hawaiian feeling with the rigors of professionalism. People may think of a recording studio as a place merely to produce music, but I can heartily recommend Bob’s Grace Studio as a place to record audio books, voice-overs, and narrations. This state-of-the- art workplace under the guidance of a seasoned master of sound is certainly the ideal place to consider for your next project. 5 thumbs up! Stars too!
Brian was the dream musician for our wedding. We (and all our guests) were blown away by his authentic, charismatic, and natural talent. It was so much more than just singing and playing music, he truly entertained our guests and went above and beyond to help ensure we had a fun night and that the transitions between events went smoothly! After each song guests were clapping because it was just so amazing! We are very grateful our photographer referred him because he highly contributed to the best day of our lives.
As a wedding planner on Maui I rely on amazing musicians for our weddings on the beach and Brian Santana is just that. His voice, instruments and showmanship are perfect. Besides being related to an icon (Carlos Santana ) Brian has his own style that is pure happiness and you can tell by the smile that he always wears that he loves it. Music is his passion. What I love is that Brian is always quick to respond to emails, phone calls and text messages. I highly recommend Brian Santana to play at your wedding or any event. Thank you Brian I greatly appreciate your professionalism and beautiful music.

I have been playing guitar for over forty years, and I must say the Erik is a great guy, and a really patient and eager instructor. Kid, adults, and even old pros like myself can learn a thing or two from him. Give Erik a try, you will love your guitar even more!
Erik is a passionate teacher who imparts his enthusiasm and love for music upon everyone he meets. He lives and breathes his methodology and publishes contemplative articles about practice techniques and music theory on his website. Erik is an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him.
Great experience with Erik’s guitar lessons. He can really help you on many levels and will work with you according to your capacities and needs. Also great attention and help through email. Thanks Erik.

“Mr. Wayne Perry is the music teacher for you. If you never touched the instrument or are a finished musician Wayne can tailor to your needs and wants. I had a lesson while visiting Maui and he was very accommodating with scheduling and a pleasure to play with. 5 stars!!!”
Wayne is passionate about his music, he brings the spirit of music into his lessons he’s amazing person and was blessed to have met him! Thank you again Wayne! Mahalo
Years ago I read a book called ‘The Inner Game of Tennis’ by Timothy Gallwey. When Mr. Gallwey was teaching tennis, first he’d have the student try and hit the ball back and forth with him as many times as possible. Usually the beginning student could only do it about one or two times. Then the instructor would ask the student to notice their inner dialog when they missed the ball. It was often a series of self deprecating remarks. Next the instructor would ask the student to clear his mind and simply say “bounce hit, bounce hit”. With that simple exercise the student would continue to hit the ball sometimes as many as 45 times without interruption. It was the “Zen” of tennis.
Wayne Perry teaches music in much the same way. He helps you take the effort out of it and relax. He showed me that I didn’t need to have sore fingers from pressing the strings so hard. Relax. He showed me how to find my own comfortable way to hold my instrument so that both arms and hands were free to play my instrument, with the emphasis being on the word “Play”. He encourages one to have fun with it. One session with Wayne has made all the difference in the world for me and I highly recommend him. I told him he should write the book, ‘The Tao of Ukulele’.
