Really great shop! Stop in, this place does awesome work. Cannot recommend them enough!
My Fender Jazz Bass was acting up and cutting in and out. Not only did Joel diagnose the problem – a corroded output jack- but he had it replaced and back in my hands within two days. Great work! Thanks again Joel!
Joel does great work at reasonable prices.

Great selection and great prices. Nick is awesome and personable. Love this place.
Great place to find some really unique items. Nick was so helpful and friendly!
The big guy was fantastic really paid me a fair price on my jewelry I was more then pleased hope to do business again soon
Nick is a good, friendly, and helpful man. He has quality items and his prices are reasonable. If you feel the need to ask how flexible he is on a price, do not hesitate. He is very willing to make a deal with you.
Great service. And the owner was very knowledgeable.
Best prices around… Overall experience was very fair and the owner was friendly imformative and helpful. Check this place out
Place is a joke I don’t know how they are in buisness.
Beyond unreasonable prices to sell stuff. I brought gold here that by weight was significantly higher than the offer. I know they have to make a profit but 45% of the gold value? I know places that offer 65% all day. And I felt pushed by the staff, I was just trying to get a price bc money’s getting tight and he pushed and made me uncomfortable…..I’d rather drive 15 mins to somewhere more friendly with better prices….
Entire place smells like the guys bo and old food.Has loads of outdated Microsoft headphones and other low end products he tries to sell for &40 a piece. Plus don’t bring anything to this guy go to tjs they’re actually going to offer you money. Rather than try to act like they know something about a product then offer you ten dollars because it can only be sold for $20. Just so turn around and try and sell it for $100

Great place to purchase books, crafts, religious items, and so much more. Nice area for the kids, small Cafe.
The all- volunteer staff is as helpful as can be. If you are looking for a specific book and the do not have it in stock, Jim Weigle will take the info along with your name and phone # and call you when one comes in. The variety available and prices are unbelievable and in excellent condition. All books they receive have been donated and all monies taken in go to the St. James School.
The people that work are so nice.
So many books at really good prices.
Great books of all kinds. Wonderful collection.
I enjoyed my first visit to this local store and I will definitely be back. Good selection, little all over the place with the sections but it’s not that big you can’t really look at all the shelves to try find a copy of that book you’d forgotten about reading years ago. Well worth a stop.
New location is great – lots more room. Overall a small selection of my interests (sci-do and fantasy), but plenty of room to grow.
Staff was very helpful and I found what I was looking for! !
They have everything u need
Great second hand stuff
Good variety
Great place to get lost in. Lots of things to see.
Sadly, although the people inside the shop seemed very nice the shop itself was very dirty and disorganized. There were lots of piles of things that had no rhyme or reason… Plates with stuffed animals with DVDs all in a pile. Everything was very dust and dirty too. I won’t be back.
one of the best record stores in ct hands down! great selection and kind, welcoming owner ! home to amazing experimental shows !! i have autism and the avant garde performances are incredible for my sensory issues! truly the best, such a supportive and warm place
Place was clean.
Owner was very kind and pleasing to sell my vinyls to. Happy with the interaction
For a neighborhood record store, not bad! Definitely small, but a few gems pop up here and there. The atmosphere was cozier at the old place, but Bliss marketplace suits it. Hopefully it will come back to its former glory once the pandemic is over.
Amazing collection.
Reopen in the Bliss market. He has lp,cd and shirts. Great selection of used.
Worst Record Store in CT hands down! walked in and the first thing I see and hear is somebody purposely playing the clarinet terribly, followed by somebody putting an object in a metal bowl and than moving it around making this terrible scraping sound. I have autism and sensory issues, which really bugged me when looking through their CDs, which brings me to another thing. terrible selection of vinyl’s and CDs with nothing appealing whatsoever, the awful “music” makers and people spectating were in the way of parts of the Vynil/CD collection too, making it difficult to see what they had. 0/10 would not recommend to anybody
Drove 45 minuets for the owner to tell me I didn’t think you would actually come I thought I told not too. When in reality he said they range from.05¢ to 200$ making me think I might leave with 20 or 30 bucks but no. He offered me 10$ for over 300 records.

The staff are so nice here. I take guitar lessons weekly with Anthony. Great place to learn to play an instrument and buy one as well.
Went in with some questions about lessons and rentals. Ended up leaving Having rented a clarinet. The staff was very helpful, and answered every question. My son starts his lessons there next week!
Thank you so much for all your help.
Went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago with my teen daughter to purchase a violin. The customer service we received was top notch. We were treated so well and able to purchase a violin. I can’t remember his name, but the employee answered all of our questions and helped us to pick out the right shoulder strap for our budget and experience level.
He told us she could take violin lessons at the store on Wednesdays which was pretty cool and unexpected. My daughter signed up for a few lessons and had her first one with the instructor, Kaitlyn, yesterday. She loved the experience and said Kaitlyn was incredibly patient and helped her to feel at ease. I would highly recommend this store based on our customer service experience.
This store is a good place to get music books for several instruments especially classical instruments that you can’t find many stores for. I have a violin and go here occasionally to buy books for cool songs. 🙂
I had a dispute regarding an instrument repair. The tech did a great job with the repair, but there was a miscommunication with the store concerning the scope of work to be performed. Jed Weeks at corporate resolved the issue with speed and grace.
Small space but with limited music supply stores in the area it’s good to see places like this still up
The in-store representatives are great and nice. But I am very much disappointed with the customer service representative and the supervisors. All of them showed rude behavior. I signed up for 10 months contract and during Covid situation there was delay in returning the instrument to the store at the end of contract period. But Music and Arts still charged me for 2 months on higher cost. Way above my 10 months contract. When I called the customer service, they were very rude and not showing any flexibility and care for customers. I wanted to do business with them for the next school year. But with these behaviors I will NEVER do business with them. I could not find anything lower than 1 star rating…
All they need is customers’ money… No care for customers… even in this COVID situations…
