I’ve now had multiple times where I’ve called or went in to this store. Every time I have had nothing but the best experience. Knowledgeable staff and a good attitude go a long way. I’ll feel keep frequenting them in the future.

Stupid store they ask for to much just to rent a instrument I had to go twice after work and still walked out with no violin. Don’t waist your time in this store singing papers for nothing. I went to another music store by gale and Fullerton and walked out happy with my instrument in less than 10 min the store is called Sam ash 5 stars for Sam ash

I met Mario after going to eight renowned violin shops around southern CA. Mario has traveled the world, and attended a variety of violin showrooms. He has been to Italy many times and tested many well known luthier’ violins around the world.

My daughter, a classical violinist, explained to him the sound she was looking for, and Mario went out and called a few of his contacts. Mario had many violins to choose from some older and some new models from well known luthiers.

My daughter tested the violin and fell in love with her new Topa violin.

It was thanks to Mario expertise, attention to detail, and passion for the violin that contributed to finding the one and special violin.

I’ve been in the market for a new violin, and as a beginner I wasn’t sure how to start. Thank goodness I picked Alpha Strings!! Mario was so patient, so helpful, and very nice funny and sweet..he explained the differences in different violins, and demonstrated three of them for me, inside and outside so I could get exactly what I was looking for in a violin. His prices beat anyone I had found online, and I will definitely be a repeat customer..highly recommend, you’ll be well taken care of and not taken, at Alpha Strings 🙂

Where do I begin. HI-TECH GUITAR SERVICE is literally the best place to get work done for any guitar repair or care. I was looking for a guitar repair shop near me and luckily was able to find this place which is close to my job. I brought in 2 guitars. One needed some work and some love (new knobs, strap locks well new set up overall. The second one needs a new input jack (so I thought) Marco was such a badass that he was able to fix that on the spot and was honest about it. Any other scumbag could have played it off and said I needed a new this or that to make a quick buck off somebody but not Marco. I left my guitars on Tuesday afternoon and were both ready by today Saturday.
Overall the shop has a good vibe and he also does other stuff on the side such as comics and horror stuff which is pretty rad in my book. I want to take the time and let it be known that I’m not a type of guy to leave reviews but in this case I had too because Marco is a Beast and has excellent customer service and excellent detail to everything he works on. The dude is a solid guy and trustworthy for any guitar work.
I would definitely recommend anyone to come to him for all your guitar repair/work done. You are the man Marco keep doing your thing!

My MIJ Fender Hybrid II Jazzmaster would go sharp instantly after using the trem arm, and I didn’t know what the issue was. I switched to heavier strings, lubed the contact points, and even took it to another shop where the luthier cut the nut. However, nothing had helped my situation until Marco did a full set up. $50 is a small price to pay for tuning stability. Thanks to Marco, the guitar now stays in tune despite heavy handed trem usage. Definitely will be using this business in the future.

I found Marcos guitar set up service through an offer up ad. To be honest I was kind of nervous about dropping my guitar off to a stranger lol…after facing my fears I decided to go through with it since I really needed to get my guitar set up properly… I took a chance and I’m glad I did.
Marco is very professional and knowledgeable in guitar set up and electronics installation as he is a former fender technician. I talked to him for a good hour and it was great picking his brain. He said he would have my guitar finished by the next day and he came through. My guitar sounds great now that the pick ups/truss rod/ string heights are all dialed in.
