Very nice people but Always so cold inside that’s why I can’t go there all the time
Prices are a little higher than dollar general.
Unprofessionalism at its finest. I called 7 times and was hung up on each time. Instead of saying please hold they pick the phone up and put it right back down. My reasoning of even calling is how my sister and mother was treated about 15 mins ago for doing a cash back transaction. The cashier told my sister “it’s way too early for all of that.” No. That is not how you handle that situation or any situation this early in the morning.. She could of simply said that they aren’t doing any cash back transactions at this time and I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Instead they were met with attitudes and poor customer.
Was not here to.
Its hard to find good service and there always a line. The people who work there are rude. Everytime i go in and they need manager she is always out back smoking out back of the store and them gets an addatude because she jas to stop to come help or she is always on her cell phone.

They’re always friendly and helpful. They seem to specialize in ukuleles. There is a huge selection.
They helped me out in a pinch. My daughter’s flute stopped working late on a Friday afternoon and they got it working again in just a few minutes so she could continue to use it in school. They were knowledgeable and friendly.
I just went in for some guitar strings one Sunday afternoon.
Very nice shop, with a bright open feel. Good blues were playing when I got there. The employees were helpful and nice. I will certainly be back at some point.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this shop. They did have a nice selection of Martins at reasonable prices and seemed like a decent shop otherwise.
Overpriced!!
I rented a trumpet for my fifth grader in a rush to get the task done. If you’re taking the time to read reviews, take the time to buy somewhere else. I wish I would have. They are overpriced. She is in 8th grade now and I am still paying on it. For my second child, I bought used outright and wish I had done so with the first child.
Went the first time and was sold the wrong book for my daughter’s class because of an incorrect order from hoggtowne. My daughter came back to exchange for the correct book and they would not exchange without original credit card . They knew it came from them. Came back a third time sent my daughter in with all the card to swap the book and of course no more books . Now they want my daughter to get my card pin for a return I came into the store and the guy continued to ask me for my pin I try to support local but they were so disorganized, agrevating and clueless that I ordered the book online and will cut my 10 loss to not waste anymore time. Bad service is bad service and they were in no way helpful I’m my experience. The first time was a mistake the second time was just rise and the third time was enough to write this .
I’m not sure what forwarding it to her instructor will help. I get that someone made a mistake. It happens. But you should have swapped her book when she came in and you had them. Instead she was told you couldn’t exchange it without the card it was purchased with. What kind of policy is that I can’t exchange a book that someone made a mistake on without the card… I appreciate the offer to credit my 10 but I will not spend a fourth trip or more more of my time in this effort. Mistakes happen but bad service is bad service .
James was great to work with at our American Cancer Society Relay for Life event – he had song suggestions, was prompt arriving at the site, and worked very well with our little “angels”. Of course, he was an excellent bagpiper as well! We will definitely book him for next year if he is available.
I waited for a week to write a review, because I was searching for words that still have not come to me. James was very professional, to the nth degree. Above and beyond. I hired him to play at the funeral of one of the most important people who will ever be a part of my life. The dimension of wonderful that his playing and his presence and professionalism added to the service is literally beyond description. It meant so much to me. I’m so sorry that I lack the eloquence to give a better review. Thank you so very much James.
Jim played the bagpipes at my backyard wedding this past weekend and did an AMAZING job! My family is from Scotland and England and they thought the music was fantastic. Jim has been a pleasure to work with over the past few months during the planning stage and I would highly recommend him for your future event!

Great selection on instruments, rental available, I had taken an instrument for my son who is in middle school band instrument have been damaged and they told me that they would call me if the repair cost was above $60 Unfortunately they did not call me and the repair price was closer to $200 so all in all nice store good people it was actually the repair department, it’s located outside of Ocala that I had an issue with.
Great selection and helpful staff
everyone was super nice as they robbed me really.i mean they bought my gear about 3k worth they ga eme get thus 2hundred bucks o e of the guitars was a brand new kramer i felt robbed after i lwft stay away .just way to much greed here
Knowledgeable and helpful
Friendly service, not always trying to get you to buy something which is a big plus, and experienced staff.
I would really love to give this place five stars, but… The thing is, even though they have a fabulous selection of guitars, (and I DO mean FABULOUS! After, all, I bought my Yamaha that’s in the pawnshop right now here, and I’m fabulous af ) they don’t have a fabulous way of treating people that look like me. Every time I walk in this place, the long-haired dude is so weird. You can just tell he’s waiting for me to pocket something so he can rush to the front and lock me in! Like, dude, I paid cash for one of your overpriced, mass- produced workhorse-guitars. I’m not gonna swipe some maracas while your back’s turned. I don’t even want to shop here anymore, which sucks because Guitar Center is hella far, but at least they don’t make me feel like I’m not welcome.
Dont say you buy old musical equipments, if a 63 year ventage trumpet is not worth any thing more than a head shake and disrespectfull knowladge.
I brought my guitar in for minor pickup wiring. 7 days later they hadn’t touched it. I came back to get it and I wasn’t given a reason or an apology.

The small black girl at the drive thru is the only one that smiles
Sometimes the food is great and other times the food has clearly been sitting around for a while and tastes terrible. Also, whoever invented the double drive thru for McDonald’s should be fired…out of a cannon…into a brick wall.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room and bathrooms were clean. And even though this McDonalds is a very busy store, the staff are very efficient and I’m out of there with my food in no time.
I love the vanilla cones
I bought two from the three dollar menu and a Coke no ice. I ended up getting someone else’s order with well over six items. I brought it back I ended up getting my two items and my coke with no ice that had ice in it she said can’t you take a little ice and I said no my teeth hurt five minutes later she returned me a coke that wasn’t a Coke it was a mixture of things watered with ice in it.the store needs to be severely retrained and the time was about between 4 and 5 p.m.
worst customer service, took 45 minutes to get a large fry, and they made us buy another because they could not find mobile order
Every time I go, food takes 20-25 mins to get my food. Im in nursing and my lunch is 30mins.. So I waste my entire lunch waiting for my food. Idk why I keep returning? And then when I got my food the lady had the nerve to say she called my meal out? No ma’am! I was waiting on the counter waiting for it! Thanks, it will be my last

Very nice staff and owner. Good place to relax and enjoy yourself. Good drinks. Good people. Lots of fun.
Great service, and a nice environment.
Have you seen what your bartender is saying on Facebook? Shameful. Gang associated and throwing around the N word. That’s pretty messed up.
This is NOT a craft beer bar or package store. Bud all the way, video poker games and pool tables. Not sure who thought they have craft beer…. Nice and polite folks.
Disgusting attitude and claims to be gang affiliated while throwing around the N word. Christina is a sick individual and shouldn’t own a business!

Sam was awesome when I stopped by today. I needed some odd cables, and he went out of his way to help me out. Please support your local business, shop locally!
Great place!
I’ve had a couple of guitars and amplifiers worked on here and have always received quality work at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Took my deceased father’s guitar here for some repairs never received any notification that it was finished when I showed up to figure out what was going on I was informed that they had sold it for the price of the repair so I lost one of the last things I had of my father’s for about $60.. the only thing they offered was 10% off one of their new guitars which to me was a slap in the face
The proprietor was snarky, smarmy, and condescending.
There is no reason for anyone to visit this establishment, all I found there was a millennial with a dead eyed thousand mile stare, an utterly useless human being with no inventory.

This alone cost 5 star.. 🙂 I forgot my cheager at home. Tired charge phone in car .. and boom) thank you
We were so lucky to find this place!!!
The owners are the sweetest people!!
There is lots of animals there. We were more then welcome to walk around all the territory and pet the animals that they have)
2 min away from Devils Den
And 5 min on the car to closest food market)
We enjoyed our stay at Hawk Hammock!!
Definitely recommended!!
Wonderful hosts. Very clean accommodations. Love all the animals on site. Devil’s Den and Cypress Lakes right next door.
Had to drop off a keyboard that Heidi had loaned my wife but Heidi needed it back so i took care of it for my wife.
El lugar me encantó. La finca espectacular. La casa muy buena. La distribución. Cerca del jardín botanico y la cueva. Se puede ir a pie
I performed a wedding ceremony here, I loved the horses and friendly staff. It’s nozzled in a quiet space way from the main road, loved it!
We checked in on December 23rd and drove up to a beautifully situated property. The floor plan is well laid out for multiple families. However we were very disappointed to find the house was not cleaned properly, even by typical standards let alone what is currently being demanded by the CDC for vacation rentals. The air vents were dirty, bathrooms had hair and mold, the mirrors and kitchen all had to be wiped down before we could bring our things in. The kitchen was not adequately stocked. Small dirty coffee pots, no can opener, no wine bottle opener, not enough pots, bowls, and utentiles. As far as living space there was not enough seating. There weren’t any couches. The TV’s and wifi did not work properly. The location was fantastic, but overall I would not recommend this rental for your future events.

Just got some new strings for my guitar and had the most pleasant experience. Everyone there was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend! Thank you so much, Leesburg music! You made this musician feel warmly welcomed. I will be back!
I stopped in to see what it was all about and play some. The owner was incredibly polite and showed me some really nice instruments I haven’t had the privilege of playing yet. Picked up music & guitar stands, though I’ll be back for that Washburn, as awesome as the Yamaha was. ☺️
I was so impressed with the helpful staff and friendliness of everyone in the store. I Stopped in here today to have my Son’s Guitar restrung. They have a huge selection of guitars and accessories as well as other instruments. I highly recommend you stop by and check this store out!
Nice little music shop! Their in-store selection primarily covers the beginner-intermediate range, with many b-stock guitars at reduced prices. Good deals on amplifiers, good selection of mid range basses and guitars. Great deals on amplifiers — considered an SVT350H that they had in stock. Will definitely go back and keep checking the place out every so often!
Friendly and helpful staff
Was good hadn’t been in there on 3 years come along way
Rude staff who didn’t seem to be interested in my business. I won’t be back.
We called before making the 45 minute trip to purchase a guitar, strings and a case, only to be turned away because I brought my little service dog. It was 88 degrees so she did not have her Service Dog Vest on. I offered to go back to the car to put it in her. That wasn’t good enough. We were there less than 2 minutes. I had brought my 16 year old foreign exchange student there and he sure got a whiff of good old American culture today.
So embarrassing. Shame on them on all accounts.
Lack communication skills and people skills

Excellent musical instruments
I go and buy strings regularly and they are always nice and have what I need in stock
They have a good selection of guitars.
Much interesting new find,. I will return when I decide to buy a guitar
Matt was very helpful and the selection is great!
Sold me a broken guitar and the worker literally told me the owner would steal my guitar if I left it for repairs, but then offered to repair it for free. That’s not an exaggeration or misquote. They smoke cigarettes in store, prices are all double what any other store prices at, to even get a price for anything the worker has to attempt to get ahold of the owner Matt which can take hours. I only got my guitar back because I threatened a lawsuit. Seriously this is a horrible business and Matt is the type of guy to go to an open mic and play back to back covers of Wagon Wheel. Too bad he didn’t have the balls to reply to me, none of what I said is untrue and he can’t even bother trying to deny it.
If i could give it less if I would. You claim your open till 6 on Saturdays. Nobody was home. Tisk tisk.
I brought my amp and speaker cabinet to this store to put on consignment. It is a Mesa Boogie single rectifier. It work perfectly before I brought it there. It didn’t sell and 7 months later I picked it up. Brought it home and I didn’t use it at all for a few months. Tonight someone was coming to buy it. I went to plug it in and no power. Fuse was blown before I even turned it on. Was told by tech that the 6L6 tubes were toast . I had the tubes replaced and p gone over by an expert. Tubes had about 10 hours on them. Obviously someone at this store swapped out. Never going back to this dump EVER!!!!!
Peter did some work on an old Jackson for me. He’s got my business from here on out. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience! I thought that my guitar needed a whole new input Jack. So I have been looking for places to get the guitar fixed, so I contacted Peter and he said it would only be about 20 bucks or u so to get the new piece and for him to put it in for me. So I go to his shop and he opened up the guitar And told me that the input Jack was in there and that it just needed a new washer. So he only charged me 5 bucks! He was honest and professional about it too! Great guy . He so could have taken that opportunity to charge me more, but he was honest! He was also very thorough. He tested the guitar to show me that it works before I left. Great guy, I definitely recommend!
It’s a shame that Peter is shutting down.

Very friendly atmosphere. Excellence at it best! Talented barber!!
I was confused by the signs in the yard representing a Republican state senator since their party is most definitely not for the interest of a small business owner such as a barber. This seemed odd so I decided to cut my own hair at home instead.
Price is way too high
19. Music & Arts
Address: 3228 SW 35th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32608 , Williston Highlands , Florida , United States
I had spoken with staff previously about a particular color of ukulele that I was looking for and left my contact information. When one came in, Katey called to let me know it was available! Excellent, personalized service; just what I love from a local music store! Both Katey and Rowan have been wonderful to work with. Will definitely be back!
This is the new location. They relocated from the Oaks Plaza near the mall. Other than the lesson rooms being on the small size, it is a nice upgrade. Everything is clean and organized.
I contacted Music & Arts in need of a couple instruments to rent and received excellent customer service. Even though mine was one of the smaller orders they receive I was treated no differently than a customer with a large order. Music & Arts employees that provided me with such exemplary customer service were Mr. Andrew Little and Mr. Sean Eccles.
I love the teachers. My son takes viola lessons from professional violinist, Marina Tucker. She is fabulous at teaching both violin and viola! She has a Masters in Violin from UF and teaches and plays with professional orchestras.
I take cello lessons from UF Music School graduate student Mattia Imponeti. He has taught me so much about the cello. I started playing in January. I have learned a lot and really enjoy his method of teaching. I am so impressed by the music school’s teachers and staff. The front receptionists are very helpful too.
A corporation called Music and the Arts bought out the family owned business a few months ago. I was told they will be moving to a new location in June. I really like this location, so I am sad about the location change. It’s next to the Oaks Mall. It’s conveniently located. The change will double my travel time.
My only complaint is that the company that bought the family owned music business keeps sending box after box of useless junk. It’s sent on autoship. The new company doesn’t ask the store what supplies it really needs.
The practice room my son and I use has gradually become 1/4 full of boxes, and excess instruments. It used to be nice and clean. Now it is stacked floor to ceiling high and several boxes deep. I am NOT exaggerating! The back wall of boxes had steadily grown, but now it’s also full of unused cellos and other instruments. It’s getting so crowded!
Seriously, how many useless giant boxes of wall hooks does a business need! I counted at least 9. What a waste of money, floor space, etc. The practice room I’ve been using since January gets more and more crowded each week with floor to ceiling boxes: toilet paper, paper towels, hooks, instrument stuff, etc. The teachers keep apologizing that it autoships and they can’t stop it. There is nowhere to put it except in the practice rooms.
I guess that’s my only gripe. The teachers are great, but I miss the family owned business. At least the local owners knew how much toilet paper to buy and didn’t fill the practice rooms with floor to ceiling boxes and stuff. The corporate Music and Arts needs to stop sending excess supplies to the store. Unfortunately, I doubt anyone in their corporate office will read this post or care if the music students practice rooms are obnoxiouly overcrowded with unnecessary stuff. Music rooms are for student lessons, not storing useless garbage.
Overpriced
Rip off! Sold me a $150 flute for over $800! Do not go here.
