Hands down the nicest group of people to grace the menifee music scene, I’d recommend them to anybody for any and all musical needs.
I used to build and repair guitars.
When I retired, I had a really hard time finding a repair man to fix, and setup my guitars.
Michael at Pete’s Music is the one who does all of my guitars. He is very talented and knowledgeable and honest.
He treats his customers like they matter.
I just moved to Menifee from San Diego a few months ago. I recently had my Strat in for repair (Volume Pot) replaced and had Mike do a thorough overhaul and Setup. My guitar hasn’t sound and felt this good in many Years.
Thanks Mike Great job and much appreciated!
Highly recommend! Gary
In a era when local music shops are hard to find this one is a gem. Great service, great staff, fair prices. Their guitar techs are top notch and extremely reasonable…
I had some questions about a guitar repair on 9/23/14. I called to talk with Pete but he was not there. I talked with someone else about the needed repair. He couldn’t help me and when I tried to get some more information about when Pete would return he was non-helpful and then he told me that he had “a room full of customers.” Or in other words, this phone conversation is over. Am I not a customer? Just another employee filling a seat over there. I gave 3 stars for my rating only because Pete is awesome, but my experience with his fill-in was in complete contrast to working with Pete.
I’m so glad they got rid of “Dr. Evil.” It was the best decision they’ve ever done in my 20 years of coming here. Buying guitar strings from him was like pulling teeth. I heard he was eventually assaulted, which is unfortunate and kind of reflects on the managers for not getting rid of him sooner.
The bearded gentleman that replaced him is worth his weight in Gold.
Give that man a RAISE. He deserves it.
Very obnoxious dude
Place is so uncomfortable. 3 people working. Complete silence. Just staring at you. Wanted to look at guitars but felt so uncomfortable.
I cant say i have been to alot of music stores but this is defiantly one i wont be going back to watch out for the middle age bald guy. Literally the rudest most obnoxious man i have ever met in my life. DONT GO

Address: 134 S Harvard St, Hemet, CA 92543 , Winchester , California , United States
Cool place. Cool people. Very helpful. Came during open mic and it was pretty rad.
This music store is pretty awesome they put new strings and cleaned my daughters electric guitar under $50 and that strength included and the cleaning and tuning! Plus they hooked me up with a electric guitar stand for under $12.
Great music shop. Great staff. Bought a travel acoustic guitar. Will definitely be going back.
Great music store in Hemet right in the downtown area. Good selection of guitars & bass guitars. I just wish they had a larger drum section with selection of snaredrums & cymbals.
Record selection is hit or miss but ever growing and well priced
It is a good store owned by good people. Staff is friendly. New location is nice with four booths being developed as quite rooms. The store is still in development, but is a good place for good equipment and no BS. I am sure it will be at 5 stars in no time. Prices are very reasonable.
Terrible place. My son took 2 of his beloved guitars for consignment sale. Every time he called to check on status, it was a different excuse as to why they had no time to answer his questions, or just said they were too busy and would have to call him back. They have NEVER called back. My son went last weekend to pick up his guitars, only to be told that they were SOLD!!! To who?? My son never received a penny!!! Ripoff!!! He was told the manager would call him right away. He’s called every single day to get restitution, no manager, no contact whatsoever!!! They sold his guitars and kept the money!!! Scam artists!!! DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! DON’T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR GUITARS!!!
Left my acoustic electric guitar to be diagnosed on Saturday for no sound output. Was promised by Jason that it would be looked at and I would receive a call Monday with a quote on the repair. Monday passed with no call. I called Tuesday to check on it and the guy that answered seemed bothered and impatient with me. He said he didn’t see my guitar anywhere in the store and had no idea what was being done with it. He put me on hold for a couple minutes and looked for it, it was still in the store. He abruptly answered saying, “I found it I call you back in a little bit” and then just hung up on me. 3 hours passed and I called back. Someone else answered and said the previous employee had taken it apart and then just left for the day. No call back again to let me know what was being done. Wednesday passed, no call back. I called today Thursday and was told they sent it to their outside technician to fix it, not quote it. I told them to just bring it back to the store so I could pick it up, I was tired of the run around and lack of communication on their part. Completely unprofessional and lack of customer service here. I will never step in this store again!
This is a very nice local music store, but it is also a very arrogant and unfriendly place if you do not fit their desired profile. I wrote the owner before posting an adverse review, no response. Too bad, but they are the best excuse for not supporting local business.

Thank you Pete’s music for the awesome service you provided to my family and, Saturday, August 27, 2016.
While we were there we purchased everything we needed for my daughters, for their first day in high school band at linfield.
Thank you,
Ott Harrison
Employee very nice and helpful. Thank you
Friendly and professional customer service! They offer a wide variety of music supplies and services at a good price.
Honest owner who does the right thing
Small shop, new owners changing venue from mainly rock & roll instruments to more classical / orchestra type. instruments.
An employeefrom this store stole my CC information and charged over 200 to it. Filling charges against both parties.
Pete helped us tune our auto harp.great service.
They seemed nice enough, but it turns out they either didn’t know about violins or weren’t honest. We wanted an intermediate violin and they ended up selling us a beginner’s violin that they said was intermediate. The price we paid for a used instrument was almost as much as some of that brand sells new. Now that we have learned more it turns out we could have bought a similar violin for about half what we paid. Make sure you already know your instruments and prices before you walk through the door.

I had a VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE- I was IMPRESSED w/ the STORE & EXTREMELY SATISFIED w/ CUSTOMER SERVICE. The Woman who helped me was KIND, FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL- I bought a Harmonica for my husband- He is happy.. Im happy ..TOP QUALITY MERCHANDISE for a REASONABLE
PRICE! & AT A GOOD LOCATION IN PALM SPRINGS. THANK U SO MUCH !
Super nice people, very helpful and had everything I needed to get… I can’t thank them enough for making it so easy!
What a fun music store! You’ll
have a fine time at this store!
I sure did!
Bill G
Great place to go for all your musical instrument needs! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, wide variety of services. However, I would lean away from buying any brass or woodwind instruments from them, as their instruments are poor quality and tend to break rather easily.
Very good service.
Customer service was great, but products were out of stock without knowing the next restock date or available only online.
3 days to pay on this flute… there credit card machine NEVER WORKS
We had NEVER owned a violin in iur lives. My daughter wanted to try the violin and the instructor suggested renting to own at this stoee. We rented 1/2 size supposedly new rent to own ( BY the way my daughter maybe played 3 weeks and both even that much on that violin) when the teacher said the violin was too big and we needed to exchange for a 1/4 size. When we exchanged the tech told us the bow was not it, and when we returned he did gave us a crapp bow that really lookes like it had been used for MONTHS and he told us that came from our box. Like i said, we NEVER owned violins before. Now we have a basic worthless bow back. And by the way. The bow that came with the 1/4 size does not look new and did not come wrapped in plastic. Just to be written somewehre so when we return you will not accuse us of returning something that we did not. Buyers beware and take pictures of what you rent/ buy or return.
My family rented multiple instruments from this store for the last school year. Heres what you should know…Their system is always slow, they aren’t fluent in how to use it. If you have a card on file, it will charge sometimes and others not and you’ll get a collection call or letter. If you take lessons like we did for (1 month) you’ll be charged for second month and they’ll say “no problem we will request a refund”….it will never come..and they never know why.. I have been asking for one since July of last year for my money back for 280$ to which they have gave me the run around. The GM who ever she is will never call you back and you’ll just be out of money and leave with a horrible experience. The manager is nice but ineffective and the other guys seem nice but never know whats going on. I’ve tried to be as patient as possible for month and months longer than I should have.. Customer service will tell you its a store issue and to work it out with them… Avoid and go else where if possible.
We ordered a bouncer from EZ Party Rentals just a few days before our event, due to a late cancelation from another company, and they were able to accommodate us. The bouncer was delivered on time, was clean and in great condition. They even called the day before to verify all our information. I would highly recommend them for your next event.
We had a last minute need for some chairs for our sons birthday party. The woman who answered the phone was polite, proffesional, and effective, they were able to get them delivered within an hour. The guy delivering them was quick and professional.
Communication was good. I will certainly use them again!
I originally ordered a larger jumper and after realizing it wouldn’t fit in our yard a couple of days before our party, they quickly accommodated us by letting us switch to a different one. Everything was great, and the kids loved it. I also ordered some tables and chairs which was nice that I didn’t have to order from a separate party rental place. They even had the most adorable kids table and chairs! They sent us text updates on when they were arriving, which was nice. We had a great experience with they delivery drivers and I would definitely recommend E-Z Jumpers!
The setup and delivery was great. The chairs were dirty when arrived. They had mud on them and dirt. The jumper had a hole in it and duct tape on other holes. The jumper was dirty as well. I was so busy preparing for the party but I did take pictures. They offered to pick up the jumper later but they still came on time to pick it up. It was not being used anyways, so no issue there. I would not recommend for the quality and $ you spend.
never responded until a few days later when I booked somewhere else.
Never book with them! They have poor customer services and apparently do not train their employees on how to book appointments correctly. Totally messed up my Nieces birthday party! Do not book with them!!
****Poor customer service skills, lacking communication and in severe need of assistance with calculations****
I was charged over a hundred dollars for two tables and 16 chairs. I was told that it was because of the holiday but normally the tables and chairs would total up to about 25$ and delivery fees. The lady on the phone told me that it was 55$ for a snow cone machine but when she added the table and chairs together came up with a grand total of 160 (which is double) and with my deposit applied $133. She later texted me and said she didn’t apply my deposit initially and it was actually $133 minus my deposit of 25$. It was required to put down a $25 deposit but my account was charged $27.19 (2.19 labeled taxes on the invoice). When delivered I was at work and my elderly mother was told to pay the total amount. When I called to see why my mother was asked to pay so much, I was told that they were busy and somehow forgot that a deposit was taken. The unapologetic tone and excuses were annoying but I was more than understanding given that she had just confirmed the amount with me via text minutes before that. When asked how much would be refunded back, the lady who takes the orders became rude and accused me of having an attitude. I repeatedly told her that I didn’t have an attitude at all. That all I wanted to know was an exact amount that would be refunded. I was easily able to calculate this on my phone but I was told that I would receive a call back with the information once she contacted the drivers. I am still waiting.

Darned if I couldn’t find an Ibanez ATK 815e anywhere, not even a used one, I checked every online store, even calling them too… then Don was able to get me the last existing one on the planet, straight from Ibanez in Japan, no less!!
He kept me updated all the while and I can’t say enough about the unique selection and service from Studio Gear!
Thanks Don!
Been buying from Studio Gears for several years now. Always good service and good prices. Highly recommended!!
I just purchased a ESP USA Horizon of of Studio Gears website and couldn’t be happier. Great prices, and incredibly fast shipping.
I tried to contact them to buy a guitar, but they never called back. That means your customer service is poor.
16. Winchester Barbershop
Address: 28543 Winchester Rd, Winchester, CA 92596 , Winchester , California , United States
Highly recommended if you’re a person who likes quality work ! First time there and my guy Luis got me right ! Got a lot of compliments on the cut and the vibe at the shop are perfect if you like sports , great music & a cool man cave set up with a pool table and a message Chair ! Definitely a cool spot definitely a hidden gem 10/10
Always a great environment whenever I’m there, I personally go every two weeks and never been disappointed.
Been coming to this shop for about a year now. The owner Luis is a solid owner but also a very skilled barber. Always a dope environment when going to the shop. Every haircut has not disappointed. Highly recommend. Book your appointment!
It seems to me, the barbers that have the experience they dont want to cut the kids hair. And they tell the other ones to cut it. Espacially on Wednesday’s when they have the kids special hair cut.
It’s my first time there I took my kid to get a cut the owner Luis cut his hair line crooked and tried to hit on me very unprofessional
This is about the only shopping center that French Valley has so its vital to the community. French Valley has that small town living just outside of the city. I love the “country” feeling this town has right here in southern California.
Great place
I live nearby and think that place is terrific
Aisles into narrow can’t get a wheelchair down with shopping cart
The CVS pharmacy there closes pretty early. Stater Bros is not open 24 hours either. There are several food places there but most of them close up by 10 or 11pm. It would be nice to have more options besides just Del Taco for those that have to be up late at night. That being said, the way in and out is kind of insane too. You either have to enter on the south end and drive all the way through the parking lot to get somewhere or else enter near the Chevron at the south entrance and deal with all the morons peeling out of the gas station there. I do like that they have the recycle center there. It’s the closest shopping center to my house, otherwise I would probably shop more elsewhere.
Strip mall is a strip mall no matter how you look at it.
The parking lot is to hard to get in and out of
Extremely basic strip mall, badly planned with 2 or 3 bottlenecks for cars making turns or waiting for the drive through. All stores and restaurants are all average and basic.
