Cannot recommend Main Street Music enough. Great instructors, amazing flexibility with our schedules and an extrememly welcoming environment.
My Daughter has been with Main Street Music for 4 years now. She has taken lessons in piano, voice, violin, and flute.
Main Street music is an amazing and wonderful place to learn music the teachers are amazing there starting with Adina the owner and an Amazing musician with a heart of gold next to rebbecca a piano and violin and a gutair teacher who is an amazing teacher to have next in Anna an amazing person who will in prove your musical inpact and has a great time then there is Mr.kim I really don’t know how to spell his name but every one I have heard says mr.kim who will blow your socks of he has fire hands on the piano then there is casie I don’t know how to spell his name but he is an amazing at gutair and you will love being his student then there is kristy I have never had her as a teacher but has a heart of gold. All of these teachers are an amazing in each of there own special way so if you want to learn music come on down because you will have an amazing time.
Very helpful with new violin and restringing. Tried lessons and decided not to continue there. No progress in lessons over 5 weeks at $90. You might have a better experience but we would not choose them again.
I went in today to check the place out. The woman working looked at me like I was crazy. I had no help with anything. Awful place to send children or anyone for music lessons.
2. Sax Alley
Address: 561 E Garden Dr UNIT E, Windsor, CO 80550 , Windsor , Colorado , United States
Tim is very knowledgeable and does a good job repairing our instruments. We drive 5 hours to get repairs.
I was very surprised to find this great little resource outside of a major metropolitan area, but don’t let the location dissuade you. It’s worth a visit.
The owner and staff at Sax Alley are very professional and easy going. I have had work done on my pro / vintage horns here and even had a bent body tube straightened out without a lot of fuss or cost. I felt their advised repairs and/or adjustments were warranted and definitely improved the response of my horns. They were also able to make my daughter’s aging, student-level Yamaha play like a million bucks for a very modest investment. This was a far better option than the rent-to-own “shiny new” music store model that has not been adjusted or maintained.
They also have a great revolving selection of cool new and vintage saxes, woodwinds and all the accessories. I felt their prices were very fair, even when compared to the no-service internet world. It’s refreshing to still see a “brick & mortar” storefront doing a great business! Thank you!
The only place I trust with any saxophone questions or repairs. So very helpful.
