I am from New York but I have little nephews in Orlando. I was helping my cousin to find a place like this, and I am so GLAD we found it. My family is so happy, the kids really enjoy every class, I highly recommend Garden Music Kids to everyone.

My youngest nephew couldn’t stop telling me to take him to this music school.. I’m an excellent school so I took him there. I didn’t want to leave. He had a great time and even made some new friends! Incredible experience!

**UPDATE** I received a PROMPT call regarding this situation from Tatiana who runs Garden Music School. She was very quick to apologize for the situation and was happy to refund the charges. As I stated in the first review, Tatiana has been nothing but awesome to work with! I am leaving the initial review of the teacher, but want to let everyone know they are very customer service oriented. Also, be aware that they will charge monthly because it is NOT a monthly service, it is a yearly service that they charge for each month. It is slightly confusing that they advertise as monthly prepaid lessons with no contract. However, benefit of the doubt is I may have misunderstood this. I would recommend Garden Music as long as you speak to/sit in with your student for a lesson or two, to ensure the teacher/student are a good fit for each other.

We just moved to Florida and we’re looking to pick up drum lessons again after a year long hiatus. We signed up for lessons with Marcus. After the first 30 minute session he spoke to me about my son as if he was a delinquent who wasn’t practicing drums and took it as a personal affront to himself. We came back even though my son said he didn’t like him (should have known then). After the second 30 minute lesson Marcus came outside and proceeded to yell (and I do mean YELL) at my son and launched into a bitter diatribe about how my son is sour, is undisciplined, unmotivated, not college bound (odd???) and that he was going to drive away the people in his life (what??). I sat in disbelief listening to a 21 year old utterly tear down a 14 year old (with a learning disability) and could not believe he was still employed as I highly doubt this was the first time he has displayed such behavior. My son was in tears the whole way home (40 minute drive). I felt horrible for my son and have never witnessed a teacher behave this way. My son wants to play for enjoyment, not for a career. As a teacher myself I know the key to creating motivation is a mix of encouragement and critique. However, this approach and the personal offense Marcus took to my son (who is still learning) and his music ability was appalling and we will not be returning. I’m sure the owner (who is very kind) and the other teachers are great but I would not recommend this teacher! **UPDATE** I was charged for lessons for another month, which I did not authorize! Despite being told there is no contract and lessons are paid monthly…I was charged for lessons I did not request! Do not give this place your credit card information.

If I could give this location a 0 I would! This is the worst customer service I have experienced, coming from someone who is in the hospitality industry. If you value great customer service, and locations that value the customer experience, DO NOT give them your money! Find another music store to buy/rent your child’s instrument …. because my child is now affected due to this location lack of communication. At the end of the day it’s about our/your children.

This would be a 5 Star review if it weren’t for the following: They have stopped paying their instructors for lessons taught after May 15, 2018. Furthermore , they are requiring all instructors to negotiate any pay at all, without them knowing if they’ll ever receive it! Some of the best instructors and staff have been forced to quit/resign being unable to work without compensation for their labors. Even worse, they’re not keeping the negotiations level. If you agree to less of a deal, not knowing what anyone else agreed to, you will receive less.
If you are paying for yourself or your child’s lessons, do you question where your full tuition is going? As you might imagine, the same diversity that exists in society exists in their instructor base. There are some instructors who do not need the income but continue to teach out of love for their craft. However, many equally talented instructors are blue collar working musicians who absolutely need to be paid to provide for their families.
Finally, I give 5 stars to all of the instructors and staff whether they have been forced to leave or have stayed, being able to withstand a period labor without pay of unknown duration, ongoing as of the date of this post. All the instructors love their craft and their students!
I will be happy to post a second review if this wrongful situation is fixed in a fair way to the instructors and staff.

Updated review- To the best of my knowledge, many of the instructors have received their back pay. However, a good percentage are no longer associated with Garden Music. It’s a shame.

I normally like this shop, but the website says they are open till 7pm on Saturday. The door says they close at 4. I just road my scooter with acoustic in my lap for a few miles to find a closed shop. Unhappy.

Beautiful music is exactly what Shannon and the musicians exemplified during our wedding reception and cocktail hour! The elegance and sound was magical. Shannon was amazing in helping us form a perfect flow of music during the happiest day of my life! My husband and I would recommend Beautiful Music to anyone looking to elevate a gathering. I love Taylor. I started lessons about a year and a half ago, at 29. I was able to maybe half sing, in a timid little warble, scared to make my voice heard. I had playing various musical instruments in bands, and had a frustrating time with singers, finding myself unable to relate to them, or entirely too intimidated by the competent ones.

Not only does she help you sing better, but she really cares and helps develop you as an overall artist. Forbsey knows a lot of different vocal techniques, music industry resources, and tricks to the trade when it comes to becoming a better singer.

After a little over a year with her, the range in my voice has definitely increased and my vocal quality has improved tremendously. It’s amazing how different my voice sounds today compared to when I first started with her.

I highly recommend Chris! I called him on a Wednesday afternoon for my son’s saxophone. Chris was able to squeeze us in immediately and got it fixed within an hour. (Dent removal and pad replacement) Great price and a wonderful experience all around.

Excellent work done! Chris is great to talk shop with, his prices are unmatched, and his work second to none!!! Unlike many music store repair shops that send it out in batches, work is done on-site and very prompt. Fixed a seized rotary with ease, lapped a slide perfectly, and bathed my tuba in no time. Before him it would take a shop weeks to get my instrument and the work would be average at best, with no close communication or care that Chris gives. Drove 3 hours just to have him do the work I needed because he is the best! Couldn’t be more pleased!!!

Had an amazing experience with the new girl Madeline. She knows her stuff and is blatantly honest. I’m coming back just because of her, the way she handled everything it was very genuine and very personable. I even stayed and had a conversation with her for a good 10 minutes or so. Amazing store. Prices although are a bit inflated, but just because of that customer service experience it is worth it.

This store was the cleanest & most organized I’ve seen compared to other pawn shops in the area. The customer service was good too, the associate that helped me went above & beyond my expectations

Omar at the Winter Garden location is single handedly the man. He and his staff are super knowledgeable and down to earth! They always have what you need and give you fair prices for the stuff you bring them! Go see Omar for all your pawn needs!

Bought an asus tablet tf600t for $100 worth almost $300 and my asking price was $80 and they told me they could only give me $25 for it the only reason im rating 3 is because of this black guy that helped me look for a phone he was excellent in service very nice man great service the other staff was rude and talked trash about my girlfreind in spanish i recommend dont come here at all

Some prices are a bit much but then there’s quite a bit that are just in as good as new shape for a better value.

I use to be a regular at this pawn shop but the last few times I have been here nothing but problems. Customer service is horrible, and lying about when inventory arrived at the store. Asked them to drop a price a little bit on 2 items wouldnt even take the time to look it up in the system to see what she could do. This was the assistant manager as well. I have spent a lot of money in this store but won’t any more.

Shady. If you want to pawn stollen stuff this is the place to go.

Just needed a little cash till payday so took out a small loan that I brought more stuff in then I needed to and they were like you only need this to get what you are asking for.
I will be picking up on Friday since I am off and get paid but it was a pleasure dealing with your business today.

This is my go to place for handguns firearms rifles etc. The staff is very knowledgeable and when I come there with my wife I’m in big trouble because she always finds more things to buy than what I was looking for. The inventory is constantly changing which is great

Purchased 2 air fryers marked as new and when I got home I find 1 was used called the store multiple times before I got someone to answer only to get hung up on.

I’ve made many purchases at this location and it seems, the the standard trash that everyone else has. The uniqueness of this store when owned by Mike was that everyone knew who Mike was, and he would find anything you wanted to buy at a reasonable price.

Plenty of product in the store

I usually just buy things I already know about or deal directly with magnolia and those experiences have been great. However, one time I used pacific kitchens, bought a really expensive fridge they said would be delivered in 14 days or sooner. Then said it was backordered and would not do anything to make it right. Said it was going to take 3 months min. So customer service can be shaky depending on which department you’re dealing with!

The worst customer service i ever had. A month ago i decided to buy a radio for my daughters car, while checking for the right one i noticed that i will need to buy a dash installation kit, to summarize i bought the items online since the kit was not available in the store. The radio arrived first at the store and kit was showing to arrive a week later. I called the store to explain them that i live an hour away from the store and would like to wait till the kit arrives to pick both items. They agreed to this but to my surprise they cancelled the radio cause i didnt pick it up the date i should have. So they cancelled my installation and i have to purchase the radio again and set up another installation date. Everything is going fairly ok so far, they called me the day before the installation to tell me that the installation gets cancelled again because they have lost an installer. I asked to talk to a manager to get help on this issue, Ernest Louis answer the phone pretending to be the store manager (which is Melissa), he was disrespectful, rude, careless and not caring for my business at all, he was asking me to take the car to another store 1.5hr away from my house, when i explain the store is 1.5hr away his answer,was: “thats not my problem” then i asked him to let me talk to the store manager then he replied “i am the store manager”which i doubt it, how somebody could be an store manager with that attitude and lack of customer service. I called back 30minutes later trying to get a manager on the phone and another assistant manager get to the phone, his name was Patrick, he reschedule my appointment for the following week at 4:15pm. Today my daughter showed up for the installation just to find out they cancelled again, this time without even called me to let me know. Apparently they didnt have an installer yet, so I asked to let me talk to Patrick and to my surprise he didnt come to the phone but he had the face to tell Mat (Assistan Store Manager) that he didnt do any appointment for today. This is unbelievable how they make my daughter drive almost for an hour just for nothing and now patrick is backing up making me looks like invented everything and a liar. ADVISE: DONT TRUST ANY OF THE WINTER GARDEN MANAGERS, THEY WILL LIE TO YOU IN A HEARTBEAT. ask them to give you everything in writing or emails.

The shopping experience is impersonal and cold. Small selections make shopping frustrating.

the store is good but the attitude of the some of the employee are not. Today after I check out at the counter, I said thanks and see you to the female employ and she just ignored me. I am pretty sure that she heard that and I even wait for a second for the reply, but she just ignored me. I would say it is a extremely disrespectful behavior. Because you guys should be the ones who say “thanks” to the costumers.

Good stuff, good prices

We’ve been stopping by here to check on thrift deals when passing through Winter Garden for years. As with any thrift store, pricing and selection varies wildly, but I have gotten some great deals on clothes in like-new condition several times here and there are lots of items priced to move. More recently, the name changed and the interior was reorganized. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Limited parking up front, but there is a narrow (one lane!) access to more parking in the back lot.

This place is great! Love it. The workers are friendly and the prices are incredibly. I wish I knew about this place sooner. For now this is the place for me to shop

Pretty disappointing

They were nice people.

Its okay. I feel bad giving 3 stars but nothing is priced. Some disorganization, they are remodeling, so keep that in mind. Also no public bathroom. Had to go next door to wawa lol. Also the few items that were priced, had it markered on the items. Kinda ruins some things (to me). Like most thrift stores prices are kinda hit or miss but really didnt want to keep asking for prices so just grabbed a couple things and dipped. Fair pricing on the items i did purchase though. I’ll stop back by in the future and hopefully update my rating with them.

Drove all the way over there to make a donation based on the internet says they are open but they are closed on Monday. Someone needs to update their information!!

I’ve been making donations at this place every couple of months, for the past two years. Today, I pulled up at 4:01 to drop off some items. The drop off gate was open, and there were a couple of gentlemen working in that area. After I opened up my trunk to drop off a box of household decor items, one of the gentleman walked up to me to tell me that, unfortunately, their donations closed 1 minute before, at 4pm. I really wanted to support a small and local business. Yet, after this incident, it’s clear that this particular business doesn’t need it.

Had the worst experience, walked in to see four people (3 women and 1 man) sitting and drinking Wawa sodas talking about the fact that people annoy them on their job. I was never address nor spoken to which was quite unusual for me being that there were so many employees and as you walk in you are literally facing them. Shortly after an elderly woman walked in and was greeted followed by a man who was greeted as well. I have never been here before and I would not return. The customer service I received was distasteful to say the least.

I’ve worked with Jim in the studio on more than one ocassion and he’s been consistent for every one. Jim is very knowledgeable and comes with years of experience in recording, live sound, lighting, accompanyment and video production. He’s very people oriented and is a pleasure to be around. If you’re looking for a nice place to record with no worries, Durbin Audio Designs is THE place to go!….

We have used Durbin Audio for three years for a major Christian Conference and he is truly a godsend. He continues to meet every need and do so within budget. He is an excellent resource and always has a solution and amazingly happy disposition. I would strongly recommend him, he is awesome! Projectors, speakers, instruments – he can get it. Call him!

Great place! Very friendly!

Total jerk, we parked in back of the shop well after business hours for the Christmas tree lighting at downtown winter garden for less than 2 hours and he had our car towed, for a spot he wasn’t even using or needing. His “no parking” sign was half covered and not lit as it was already dark out, I looked for one when I parked. (The one sign I could see didn’t say no parking). While I was on the phone with the tow company trying to get an address (since I had nowhere to go) he came out and yelled at me to get off his property, which I would have loved to do if I knew where to go. Thanks for ruining our family night Grinch. Best part is, the tow lot was half an hour away in the wrong direction. Really? Couldn’t use someone local?

Didn’t know it was a golf cart under that tarp, so sorry about that, but to claim he couldn’t get it out is wrong, I can think of at least two ways to have gotten it out if they tried. Take a look at the photo, the only visible sign says nothing about no parking or towing, just has the business name on it. You also can’t tell the business is open from the back.

Of course your customer agreed with you. What else is he gonna do? Tell you your wrong and upset you while you work on his audio?
