The best music shop in Santa Clarita. The owner, Lee knows his stuff, and will work with you to get exactly what you need at a great price. Great music lessons, while being very affordable. Chris Hellstrom is a wonderful guitar teacher, and would be GREAT for any beginner, intermediate, or advanced guitarist.
Lee can also order almost from any brand or company, it is nice knowing if I need anything, he can get it for me in a timely manner and for a great price.
Lee is extremely passionate about music. My talented kid was looking for piano books and piano lessons. Lee was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable about all things music. Lessons are affordable and worthwhile. This business is a staple in our community. Thank you for sharing gift of music with my child.
We have been studying at Lowes for over 3 years now, and the teachers and owner are fantastic!!! I highly recommend them for all your musical needs.
I’ve been going to Lee since about 2020 and he’s always been a very gracious man to me! I go to him for every minor or major (from guitars to amps) repairs I’ve ever needed and he’s always ready to get it done! Highly recommended!
So my mother works at the salon next door, and I really love this place. I have been making visits since 2005, since I started playing music. It’s a small store with only one or two people running it, so obviously if about eight customers are there at once it’ll take awhile to get to each one. While the selection isn’t absolutely huge, they’ve got all the basics and a lot more. Friendly customer service as well. I love Lowe’s Music.
Musical Instruments and supplies
Don’t bother. Dismissive to customers. Yes, I’m older … but I’ve played for years — Ignore your customers and guess what – they go away forever!

Great shop good prices….lots to choose from
Super cool Staff. Very chill and helpful. Thank you. =}
Very glad my son and I found this shop. He is a huge Beatles fan and found a Mono CD set that he’s been wanting for a while. The owner was great and we had a great conversation with him. We’ll definitely be back!
I drove up to check this place out. It is a cute store. I got two albums to boot. One thing kept it from 5 stars: while the records are technically alphabetically ordered it was more by general groupings of letters. It made looking for the very specific LPs I wanted hard to find.
Expensive…Boho is a decent record store. In terms of location, it has plenty of parking. The store employees are friendly. The store has a good collection of records with plenty of variety. I’m knocking two stars off because the records here are pricey. Most records here easily go for $20-$50. You won’t find any discounted records here. I imagine young people and students won’t be able to afford the records at this shop, which is a shame. The high prices rob you of the spontaneous experience of discovering new artists and bands without shelling out a lot of dough. I’ve been to many record stores in LA, and most of them are way more affordable. Some of the same records I’ve bought at other stores that are also sold here sell for twice or even three times as much. I get records are back in, but there is a limit. In my opinion, you’ll find many of these albums cheaper at other stores. Of course, what’s reasonable to me might mean something different to somebody else. This shop is not for the casual buyer but for disposable income collectors. If you’re okay with paying a premium for records, then this place might be for you. For casual buyers, you can find other record stores with much more reasonable prices and still have a great listening experience.
Expensive

Great place.
I found this Gem by luck, I am so greatful that I did. They made me feel welcomed the instant I walked in.” And I was in my mechanics uniform, yet they treated me as if I where just another regular at Morey’s.
Thanks so much guys, I mentioned it to the store clerk/musician/owner…/?? The very kind gentleman that helped me with all my silly questions, that I haven’t seen a mom and pop authentic music shop since I was a kid. And I was ecstatic to see that it is a warm inviting atmosphere and only quality products with an actual expert telling you about the product.

Hands-down the best string store in the area. They’ll set you up with what you need at an incredibly fair price. Staff is especially helpful and knowledgeable.
Knowledgeable and friendly people work here; I’ll be back when I need to rent additional musical instruments.
Conveniently located with a professional repair staff.
I’ve read all the previous reviews and believed they were lacking cunstructive feedback. Both times I arrived at Moreys Music Store I was very pleased with the attitudes of all the employees that work there. Very humble and not judgmental. The store was clean and organized as expected in most entrepreneur sheet music stores you’ll find. There customer service keeps me coming back, unfortunately, the focus on pianos, piano parts, piano repair, and keyboard repair is a almost non existent and I assume most likely do to the limited space, capacity, and customer traffic. Granted, they did refer me to, with business cards, where I can find the help I needed. Also they have plenty of trainers, for all levels of skill, for almost all modern instruments I’ve learned from one of the employees. This will be the only place I get all of my sheet music from in Lakewood/Long Beach area.
They didn’t everything wrong. Intonation was wrong and set up was inferior. They put the right strings on which is basically all that was right. Took longer than they promised and didn’t bother letting me know it was done.
I will never shop there again. This morning 12/26/18, I went to the store hoping to buy a new cello case. I entered the store and walked to the back of the store to look around. Not one worker even tried to assist me. After looking at the cello cases, I walked toward the front of the store to look at different violin/cello method books because I play and teach both instruments. During that time, a few customers walked in and the workers quickly greeted and assisted them. This is about the third time this has happened to me. I will never shop there or refer any of my students to shop there. I will just have to purchase their supplies elsewhere and have my students purchase the products from me. I will also go online and purchase my cello case elsewhere. That’s too bad because they really do ha e nice, quality products.
Not knowledgeable about guitars!! They use to be great.
