Open Friday and Saturdays, filled with great deals and bargains. Nicest ladies on Earth!
Good size thrift store selling some really interesting stuff. Think antiques and memorabilia…
Cute shop with fair priced goods
As a resident of Central City I can no longer donate, due to the day and time change, really sad because I only live less than a block away. So now I’m forced to donate outside the community that I live. Sorry

We absolutely loved this store! They had so many different types of antiques! We spent over an hour enjoying all 4 floors! We will be back!
This is such a fun shop to pop into when we visit Blackhawk and Central City. I am not a big gambler, but I love checking out unique gifts and antiques anytime I have a chance. I always find a little trinket to buy and fun little gifts for my family. Stop in when you’re next up the hill!
Great shop. I always find some unique item when I visit. Super friendly staff.
4. Central City Opera House
Address: 124 Eureka St, Central City, CO 80427 , Central City , Colorado , United States
Just took a tour of The Teller house and Opera house. Beautiful day up here!
The afternoon was perfect. When we purchased or tickets, I also got one for parking next door. That was a good choice. We came early and had lunch at the Teller House. It was a good lunch. The singers in the opera were all excellent. Even a 4 year old, non singing, performer was amazingly good.
Central City Opera House is a wonderful and historic venue to experience some of the best voices from around this world. I never cease to be amazed at the talents of the artists the Opera showcases! Check out becoming a member because the price is reasonable. Always arrive early (park at the venue or nearby casinos) to hear the ushers as they sing their way into the Opera House. My guilty (yet, always rewarding) pleasure is to make sure I have enough time to go to the Opera House Museum less than 20 feet away. Jewelry, artwork and history. Did I mention jewelry? May I mention the museum again? Everything is from local artisans, and the staff is great!
It wss closed when I visited so that’s why I gave 4 stars.
Very nice Asian supermarket.
I like the different varieties of food, candy, and drinks.
Due to the large amount of fish that they have the place does smell like fish.
A little funky, a little quaint. Wonderful venue for opera. Must be able to do stairs.
It was bad some white people got in a fight
I hate central city there’s too many metahumans
To Whom it may concern,
My wife and I worked in the bar for every opera that was held in July 2022. Now, it’s August 13, 2022, and we still haven’t been paid. We hosted opera guests, donors, and much of the cast. We are all aware of what’s going on with Patrick saying that he hasn’t been paid and Pamela saying Patrick owes $26,000. I am sure that all the opera cast have been paid. I am aware that my wife and I were hired by Patrick and should be paid by Patrick. I am shocked that the governing body of the opera would let this issue fly by with the simple belief that this is Patrick’s problem. It’s obvious Patrick doesn’t have the money to pay us. It’s a fact that we weren’t paid. Also, it’s a fact that the opera generates most of its revenue from donations and the opera could pay two individuals that worked hard for them. Its a shame that adults could watch this foolishness go on and not have something done about it. Today, everyone was enjoying Madam Lou Bunch Day and everyone knew of the situation and nobody had the heart to offer us a drink or maybe a bite to eat( I made it very clear that we are completely broke until someone pays us) Nobody, in their right mind should be ok with this.
This is my last semester in college and this experience has taught me a valuable lesson. I will strive for the rest of my career to never let someone that has worked not get paid. In my opinion nobody with any class or decency as a human would be ok with this. I have reached out to Tom Martino for help with this situation. I am in the process of contacting each and every donor from “name a fund” to “general endowment fund”! I believe Tom Martino’s interns are helping with that.
Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of care and professionalism exhibited by the Central City Opera. I hope that the governing body feels good about themselves and that maybe this will teach all of us a lesson. I have never been in a position of hopelessness where my peers had no concern whatsoever of my wellbeing. I cant wait for this to conclude!
