Awesome experience doing business with them. Great service and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Purchased Telefunken NOS Ax tubes. It was a excellent experience. I was looking at another tube but after telling them my situation they recommended these and I am so glad I listened. They gave me an excellent price. They know what they are doing. I definitely will be using them again. 6 stars
Very knowledgeable company, fast shipping, guarantee there tubes and will help you decide on a tube you are looking for. NOS or new
No response from their customer support for various questions. Website boasts shipping product within 24 hours, but I still have an order unfulfilled after 5 days. They charged me and took payment within a day, though. This company or website may be a scam. There is no phone number or address listed, and all contact is via text or email.
Update: they answered email inquiry regarding order and upgraded one of the tubes to make up for the delay & lack of response. Which was a nice gesture. (All prior questions remain unanswered – which was about product I was intending to buy, and now most likely won’t buy from them)
Within the same day I had a fraudulent charge made on my credit card for a large amount at Amazon – which I have not ordered from for over 3 months.
Security on Fuzz Audio’s website may be compromised, or perhaps one of their employees isn’t trustworthy. I would be wary of ordering from this company.
I messaged Fuzz Audio before placing the order as I was particular about the condition of the tubes. I wanted to have legitimate new old stock condition tubes. I wanted to spend the extra money to get clean working tubes and not have the hassle of trying to piece together all of them individually for my Deluxe Reverb. The order initially took over a week to ship out and then when the tubes arrived they were in less than “NOS” condition and the 12AT7s RCA blackplates I had requested were substituted with RCA 6201s. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have let me know beforehand. Besides this the tubes all looked used, I got that they are old but these had noticeable wear on the glass and pins. Their were issues with microphonics, logos worn and no original boxes. Were these tubes even tested? It was a big let down. I messaged Fuzz Audio Support and after a week or so they said I could send back the tubes I didn’t want and get a replacement. I sent back a microphonic RCA 12AX7 and worn out RCA 6V6. He sent me a message and let me pick out which replacement I wanted. Which was great but then the wrong tube arrived and after he messaged me saying the one I picked had been sold. He then let me know he would message me again when he got more tubes in but then never replied to my response so I decided to just leave it alone. Now I’ve been having issues with my reverb and tremolo so I took it to a shop to be looked at and what would you know I’ve got two tubes testing low. I’m not hard on my amps and this one’s been used rarely the past 6 months. Luckily the tubes should still be covered under warranty. So I sent an email to Fuzz Audio Support letting them know the issues and no response. I re-sent the email again a week later and still nothing.
Bottom line: There is a big difference between “Tests” NOS and NOS tubes and I’m extremely doubtful these tubes are truly NOS. I’ve had multiple fail in less than 6 months, issues with microphonics, terrible customer service and attention to detail, and impressively slow shipping. Save your money and look elsewhere.
It’s been 5 business days and many order hasn’t shipped
3. Music Go Round Aurora
Address: 18541 E Hampden Ave #128, Aurora, CO 80013 , Arapahoe County , Colorado , United States
I ordered a used guitar amp through Music Go Round. After searching Reverb and Ebay, Music Go Round had the best price. It was shipped with 2 day shipping, and I was very pleased with the packing job for the amp. I ordered it Tuesday afternoon, and it was on my porch Friday afternoon. The condition matched the description which is also a huge deal. Will definitely check Music Go Round for future purchases.
Great employees Great place!
I called in advance to explain that I needed a switch put into my bass. I was very clear to tell them it was not a stock setup. They said they could do it in-house. So I brought it in, I showed it to them and explained (again) that it was not a stock setup as my bass clearly had EMG,’s and not stock pickups. Three associates were present “listening” and said they could do it no problem. Next thing I know I’m getting a phone call saying they need to farm out the work because they can’t do it and can’t give a definitive date of completion.
When I went to pick it up they kept insisting that I said it was a stock setup it was just adding a switch. If it was that simple I would have done it myself. These folks don’t listen and then they don’t own up to their mistakes.
I’ve been doing business with them since they were located at Chambers and Alameda. I have bought some really nice used instruments at a great price from them in the past.
Strummed a few chords in their acoustic room and felt very welcomed by their staff.
Got a keyboard from here one time good price and it works out great for me in my studio.
Way too expensive! Don’t sell anything really high end. No, thanks! Go to Guitar Center!
Won’t even beat online prices. Trade in Values are a complete joke. Everything is overpriced. Don’t go here buy It online.
If u want a boring ass music store w the worst payout for your year, go here !
The staff worked hard to make sure I got what I needed.
Amazing and knowledge!!
Super nice and friendly and knowledgeable staff
Idk its neat and my teacher is cool
I like supporting Allegro (have been since about 2002). I teach piano out of my home, and they’ve helped supply me with the piano books I need for my students, even special ordering in the past. Thanks.
Great shall music shop with a helpful staff. Looks like a great place for learning young musicians.
I came for the guitar lessons. The staff was very polite. For a long time, they asked a teacher whom I even very briefly met. We agreed on the price, schedule and I left my phone number on which the teacher should contact me. No one contacted me. What is most surprising is that the manager sees that something is wrong, the student did not come to the planned very first lesson and does nothing. This place is probably so overloaded with work that they can choose individuals to be their students… Unfortunately, I can not recommend this place.
We are looking for a viola and came to your store today to purchase one. We walked in and there was 1 person in front of us and 2 others walked in behind us. We waited over 20 minutes as your worker kept helping everyone else that walked in behind us. Needless to say you guys just lost the purchase of upwards to $1,000. Too bad because you guys have some really nice looking Violas from the shelf.
If there is an negative star I will definitely rate this shop. We rent two cellos for our kids for 9 months with their rent-to-own program, we had been told that we can use the rental equity purchase ANY music instruments. However, when we returned them the staff told us our equity should be used on those rental/used musical instrument, if we want to use them on something different, they will take 25% from our equity and they also sell us those musical instruments $100 more. I went to the store three times and every time I got different explanation on their policy. Can you imagine they sell an $500 used Yamaha student flute which costs only $200 on amazon? And an ukulele for $145? Come on! We paid about $900 rental just thought we can get something interesting for our kids when we return but it ends up we just got 2 cheap Yamaha junior guitars which Allegro charged $250 each (only costs $135 on amazon). Highly recommend those who plan to rent musical instruments from them to get an used one from Craigslist or Facebook marketplace.
Update 6/24/19
You are very welcome to post the policy I signed here, if there is any. If you told customer the equity can be used for “rent to own”, I don’t understand what is the issue when we really want to buy some instruments. The problem is you guys keep changing the words you say to your customer. You literally want to throw an used Yamaha 220 student flute to us for about $500, which the a brand new newer model costs only $480 on amazon, that’s a rip-off! And come on, we both know what quality your cello are, those just basic student cello which you can find the new one in amazon $250 each.
To those who want to rend musical instruments from Allegro, I suggest you do some research first on Facebook marketplace or Amazon, unless you do not care how much you paid. Their “rent-to-own” program will sell over-priced instruments to customers when they want to use the equity.
Worker there was great. I didnt buy anything but we spoke through a ton of stuff and he showed me a bunch ch of guitars. He was great.
Cool place and great selection
Its the only place I’d go for guitars
Chance helped me out with some stuff. Good guy!
Good selection
Only fun if you shared
This place is terrible. NOBODY ever asked if I needed help. It’s like they could care less if you buy something… maybe they are not commissioned anymore.
I normally only go here to test out equipment before I buy it on Sweetwater, BUT yesterday I saw a guitar I actually liked, so I waited patiently at the counter as the old man was helping someone else. He looked at met asked if I’d been helped and I said “no, I was just hoping that this came in another color” as the Telecaster I was looking at was super ugly. In a rude (I’m better than you) voice he says “ no that’s a signature series”
I said bummer put it back and walked out… then I googled it and sure enough IT COMES IN BLACK!!!!
I just hate the attitude you get from the pompous jerks that have consistently been employed by Guitar Center for decades!!! All he had to do was look it up and I would have bought it from them but nooooooooo that was too hard. I’m sorry that you’re 60 and work a teenagers job, but have some pride in customer service JERK!!!!
You know all the jokes about how they treat people at record stores and music shops. They live up to them beautifully here. Forget holiday cheer and helpful service. Rude and unhelpful at every turn – a pretty heartbreaking first time at the music store for my daughter.
I came here 2 times in a week (January) because my church assigned me to buy and upgrade for our old sound system with budget $3-5grand. My first visit was disappointed because no one available to get help. Just look around and about 10-12 minutes I leave. The second time I came and directly to the guy at the counter and requested if someone can help me. He says absolutely and he stopped one of the guy and he said he will happy to help me until he’s done with other costumer. I waited at the loudspeaker area and writing note about the equipments. I look at my watch already 14 minutes and seems like no one available so I walked out of the store. In my car I called B&H and made all my purchase there. Less than 15 minutes!

Nice little store.. knowledgeable and friendly.. As a novice to this, I was impressed. I will definitely do business here.
Cody T was an excellent salesperson. He knew exactly where the book I wanted was located. He also shared the fact that he recommended that same book to a friend. He was very polite and friendly. I am a minority and a lot of the time people act as if the faster we can pay them and get out the better. But Cody wasn’t that way at all, he didn’t even seem to notice my color. Thank you Cody.
Have rented and bought many instruments here and always enjoyed it. Staff is very helpful and the renting program is greatly priced and has great benefits with the credit towards buying something.
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I rented a trumpet for my daughter and as I was returning it, one of the workers said that I could get a hundred dollars credit for a different instrument. I told her that I would wait until my kids were out of school so they could pick which instrument they wanted. Last Thursday, I went in with my kids to return the trumpet and find a new instrument. I gave the trumpet to the man at the cashier, expecting him to complete the process with the credit opportunity. Without a word, he returned the trumpet without mentioning the credit opportunity. When I asked about it, he said “Sorry I already returned it. I can’t do anything about it.” This employee scammed me, and his response was a pathetic excuse of an apology. I am incredibly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.
Very poor experience with lessons. Tried to cancel lessons because we were traveling for the holidays. We missed 3 of 4 lessons before they called and asked why we weren’t coming. We had originally planned on continuing our lessons, but after multiple refusals to work with us (saying “you signed the contract and there’s nothing we can do”) by staff and manager, that’s not going to happen. I wasn’t expecting much as they are technically correct – we did sign, but didn’t understand the auto renewal policy. They can do better, and should.
I purchased the Serum RED preset pack and love it. I am a huge fan of Deadmau5 and always have tried to recreate his sounds. I would consider Ryan a professional sound designer, and I am grateful that he released this pack full of sounds I have only attempted to recreate. I would highly recommend anything Ryan does!
Ryan is one of the few guys I’ve come across online who is able to deconstruct and reverse engineer some of the biggest electronic artists around. All in the box too which is really impressive. His new preset pack is high quality. I totally recommend it.
Best experience! From talking to the Owner Joe Office manager and getting a first time virtual lesson from Lauren Teacher. Everyone went above and beyond to getting me set up for Ukulele Lessons. I strongly suggest you check out Elevated Music Center Centennial CO 80122 for your music supplies, books, lessons. Located in a very cute and relaxed location on Commons, Southglenn mall. ❤️
Joe opened his store on Sunday to let us check out his saxophones. Great experience, trust worthy advice
I love being able to learn the guitar at a pace I can manage, the teachers are patient and very friendly which I like. Overall a great experience!
14. Flipside Music
Address: 2231 S Platte River Dr, Denver, CO 80223 , Arapahoe County , Colorado , United States
I’ve been coming to flipside for all my pedal needs for years. Always stellar prices, knowledge and service. I recently brought in the first “brand new” (factory bought) guitar I’ve ever owned for a setup. I am absolutely blown away with the result. The action is as low as can be, the intonation is damn near perfect, and the neck overall is smoother than butter. I cannot recommend this shop more for all your guitar needs. Flipside forever!!!
Awesome little shop with very knowledgable and helpful staff. They have private demo rooms and no pressure sales attitude, which apparently works because I buy something every time I go. Spend your money here on things that make you happy:-)
Great shop and Guitar Gutter keeps me coming back thanks to his attention to detail and willingness to get the job done right, or at the very least, try his absolute best, which is more than most could say!
Great place
Best service in this category
Good inventory for a small place.
Overly expensive and also lots of homeless people hanging outside on the street near by. It’s a dump.
15. Music & Arts
Address: 5158 S Broadway, Englewood, CO 80113 , Arapahoe County , Colorado , United States
Extremely patient staff. Good selection for rentals. Helpful with all parts of the transaction.
As usual, you can depend on Music and Arts to have just what you need, from music books to instruments. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Not pushy and very helpful. Thanks for the awesome trombone.
Okay, nothing personal here, it simply doesn’t offer enough to receive four or five stars. Are there a few digital pianos, audio interfaces, & an assortment of guitars, amolkfiera, & percussion instruments? Yes, suitable selection. Best to visit if you’re renting instrument or beginning a specific musical journey early on.
Nice place check it out
i guess its okay if you want a 99$ beginner acoustic or an overpriced pair of drum sticks…
I rented a saxophone for my kid for school, and no complain about the instrument. However, when school was closed because of COVID, we no longer need it. The store was closed of course, nobody answered the phone. I left a message on their website asking about returning, nobody ever replied me, they just continued to charge my credit card.
It is the worst and cheating place. Be care full if your children miss the class. We had a very bitter experience. Skyler the violin teacher who failed to take 3 violin classes in the month of May. The store manager and Eric who agreed us to compensate the classes in the month of July. We went and asked them for compensation class. They don’t have any reports and not maintained the proper records for missing classes. They are treating us as an animals not even communicate with us properly. We had been to store more than 3 times and they are not responding to our query and also not even call back us to update the scenario. They discriminate the people based on Nation.
Today I called the sister store guitar center looking for Hal Leonard’s key stickers for all keyboards. They stated they did not have it but that Music & arts center would. I called your location in Englewood asking for that specific product. I spoke to Garret on the phone; he stated they had the exact product I was looking for. I drove 35 minutes to pick up said product. When I arrived no one greeted me instead a man stood in a corner looking at products (leading me to believe he was a customer) and a random voice coming from underneath the counter by the registers but no person standing there. I proceeded to look around from my product which was no where to be seen. Finally I approached the man seeing if he knew who could help me. Turns out it was Garret himself, at which point he pulled out the exact opposite product I drove 35 mins looking for telling me that is all they had. Turns out the voice behind the counter was an employee talking about fighting someone on her personal phone during work hours instead of helping me.
The customer service at this location is awful. If he would have paid attention to me on the phone I could have drove 2 mins to get the same thing he had me drive 35 mins for.
Also if the other employee wasn’t bringing her personal problems and dealing with them on company time I wouldn’t have had to walk around the store looking for a product I didn’t even need.
16. Music Go Round

Scott and his staff are a class act who run one of the best stores in the country. I’ve known them for years, and they continue to improve their store year after year. Recommended!
I did not know that this place existed, until I drove by. They sale all kinds of musical instruments, I’m in love and I even bought my guitar there. They also give musical lessons, with great customer service.
Excellent staff and selection, I would highly recommend. The private drum lessons offered through this location are top notch.
UPDATE:
Store owner Jason followed up on his promise to resolve the situation. I stopped by the other day and Jason refunded the purchase in full and made this right. The receipt doesn’t mention needing to have original packaging for returns as Dan originally said, so the return should have been accepted within the 10 days we first returned but because store owner Jason did make this right in the end I am therefore changing my rating from one star to four stars.
Bought a sax mouthpiece for the saxophonist performing for an event I hosted. The mouthpiece was defective and she was unable to perform meaning the trio could not perform either. We took the mouthpiece back the next day and manager Jason would not accept return of the defective mouthpiece even with the receipt in hand claiming it there was nothing wrong even though the saxophonist is a top performer in the area. We would expect better from a nationwide chain.
Very knowledgable and helpful
Staff is a great bunch of guys who have a grasp of what’s what about musical instruments. It used to be a good place to sell your used appointment. I would give you a a decent price but nowadays they won’t even give you a price better than what a pawn shop will give you. I’ve noticed in last couple of years their prices have gone up. They don’t negotiate the prices, which puts customer at a disadvantage Because condition is a huge part in what you pay. I will still stop in and check their inventory. But not as often as I used to.
I contacted the store online before buying the product online to make sure the store could deliver it within my timeframe. They assured me they would.
Now it’s the eve of their 2nd missed shipping opportunity and I won’t receive the gear in time. I had to purchase the item new and pay for overnight shipping to make sure I got it in time.
Between the purchase and now, the store had gone radio silent, despite my sending an additional email requesting information.
The upshot is that I purchased the gear through a reputable online dealer and will have my gear by Wednesday (today is Monday), rather than whenever the staff of this store decided to get around to it.
Btw… “Sorry dude” doesn’t cut it. Hope the store manager processes my refund with a greater sense of urgency and professionalism.
Bought a DJ mixer online and paid shipping. Called up after 3 days as I didn’t receive any update about my order. Guy told me that they sold the mixer at the store and will just issue me a refund. What a joke of a store.
I wish this place was cool, but the prices are a little too high, the trade-in value is half of what you’d sell on Craigslist/Facebook, and the staff couldn’t care less. Nice browsing opportunity though.
Edit for owner: thanks for your response, I “understand” now.
Super inviting and knowledgeable staff. Great product. Thanks guys!!
This place was awesome, the staff was extremely helpful in helping me find a guitar for my daughter and the best part was we were able to rent it so that she can make sure it is what she wants. I am absolutely impressed with this little shop. Would highly recommend to any parent looking to help their teenager or younger child find three right guitar.
I haven’t been there in 20-30 years. It was always a good place for young hippie musicians and a counter culture gathering place. Always enjoyed going there. I’ve known the main guy there since I was a teenager (50 yrs ago).
Good knowledge folks
Nice helpful people. Only sell acoustic guitars.
Came here while on a trip with a friend and mandolin student who was in the market for a new mandolin. She hadn’t played many because there aren’t really any places to play them where we live. I am always in the market for new instruments I like, and have several multi-thousand dollar instruments. So we went to the store, which had no other customers there, and looked at the mandolins.
She is pretty shy so I wanted to loosen her up into not feeling judged and free to try and compare. I grabbed one of the cheaper mandolins and did my typical trying out a mando routine of playing parts of tunes that try out the high, low, and mid ranges of the instrument. As soon as she started playing one of the cheaper Kentucky mandolins softly some guy came over and asked what we were looking for and that we could only play the instruments if we were going to buy them.
I gave him a quick synopsis of the situation and made the point that it’s hard to know what we’d want to buy until having played it. He replied with a smirk and said he could show us to something specific if we were interested, but couldn’t condone “jamming”. I was bewildered as we were not jamming at all, but simply lightly playing on some cheap mandolins at the same time.
Eventually he showed me to some octave mandolin that I pretended to be interested in due to the feeling that if I didn’t tell him something specific we’d be kicked out or something. I felt suspicious somehow. When he left, some younger guy came over and he was really cool. But that older guy killed any good vibes. I didn’t even try all the instruments I would have been considering to buy.
One would think that, especially in this day and age, brick and mortar music stores need to be a sanctuary for players to play instruments they’re shopping for.
