Delicious espresso, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly staff
Breakfast was delicious. Lovely atmosphere, especially upstairs, for lingering with a latte – which was made exactly how I requested. So good I came back the next day for another!
Cute little coffee shop! With some amazing waffles and lattes that are wonderful!
Nice friendly family atmosphere,
REAL FOOD !
cooked in plain view,
Great food, Appropriate serving size,
Very polite and friendly service.
Parking: Parking in rear of restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is a small ramp to access the front door.
The customer service here is incredible. We felt like we were at someone’s home visiting. Love the energy!
Picked up some fudge ,cute place
The food was just ok and it took way too long to get it. The kitchen staff seemed inexperienced.
4. Redbox
Address: 462 E Springfield Rd, Arcola, IL 61910 , Arcola , Illinois , United States
Neat stuff and a clean store and restrooms as well
Nice store
Just another DG…finding where things are is the challenge. I know every store is different.
Had the items I needed.
It’s ok
They need almost all new employees. I just read over 5 stories on Facebook that were awful. The lines are always horrible and most of the time the lead people are outside smoking
As far as stock and availability there is nothing wrong with the store. The problem occurs with the poor poor management, dirty store, and the poor staff.
It’s always crowded with unpacked boxes lining just about every aisle. You have to literally push pallets to get what you need. Yes, severely under staffed and they are patient with customers.
6. McDonald’s
Address: 550 E Springfield Rd, Arcola, IL 61910 , Arcola , Illinois , United States
Didn’t eat here, but the bathrooms were probably the nicest McDonald’s bathrooms I’ve ever seen. 5/5 would pee here again.
The manager was great! He helped us fix the chains on our auto transport. He went way beyond the call of duty!
Great and timely drive-thru. Good burgers for on the run. Fries are always hot too!
Team was Awesome and fast
I don’t remember which one this is, but I am a fan of most of them.
Good service and had truck parking also
Was in line one behind the order menu..
Ordered just a coffee and 2 sausage mcmuffins..only got one mcmuffin..had to go back through the line, wait 20min. Then when I ate my two, they were not even toasted,.raw,.and so chewy I couldn’t even eat them..NEVER AGAIN..
Just ordered a mocha coffee and waited 15+ minutes. The place was not busy. Got tired waiting. The server offered no explanation for long wait or expressed any regret. If the machine was broken or something they at least could have had the courtesy of giving me an explanation. But, nothing. I asked for and got a refund and left.
To begin with the guy taking orders was very short with us. Got to the window to pay and sat for at least 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, was a large order as we are a big family so was asked to pull forward. Not a big deal but sat for almost 15 minutes to get old limp fries, stale hard nuggets and the burgers were only slightly warm so not sure why it took this long. They did give the boys there sweet tea at the window but it was nothing more then scared water…. terrible terrible service…
7. Sound Source Music Center
Address: 1609 Broadway Ave E, Mattoon, IL 61938 , Arcola , Illinois , United States
Sound source has always been a solid.,iv had my bass worked on (and their tech is amazing btw), got a great amp from there.,and Mike Sanders knows what ya need, and if they don’t have it in stock they can order it for you and give ya a call when it’s in,(which iv done for my drumheads on several occasions,. they’ve always been hassle free,.and importantly their local,. anymore I order out of Sweetwater,.and get anything else I need artistically frome sound source.,,.let’s hope they stay here in Mattoon for many many more decades to come.
Im looking for a electronic keyboard with a nice sound and an amp hookup for more sound.
I dont need anything too big because i drive cross country and spend most my time driving to location.
Something not to big with a nice sound.
I stopped at guitar center but prices were through the roof and no one assisted me.
If you can rreccomend a good unit ill be glad to stop by your shoppe.

I remember your Christmas store at the Mall always used to eye the Bass in the box and now i am playing that a Jazz Bass i bought i am now in Tennessee so thanks for helping with my dreams
Love going there and stuff but idk if it was one of the employees or just a customer, but this older guy walked up to me and my friend and made a really rude comment about our colored hair “did you wake up late at a party or something?” How the actual heck would anyone think that is an ok thing to say?????
That was one of my favorite music stores to go to and now I’m not so sure, if it were an employee who sayid that. I’m pretty sure it was because he walked to the back after that. If you have colored hair and you take hate comments too seriously, be careful.
In the late 90s early 2000’s this was an awesome store. Used CD’s, Ppl who loved to talk about old bands and music culture, It was different. Mind you, they still have great instrument selection, and fair prices for a small business. Some staff is decent, some have the personality of a week old gym sock. I’d say if your local, pick up your kids first instrument there and support local small business. Idk if the lead dude from x-crush still works there, but he was awesome. but it’s a lottery.
So you want to call on the dude behind me in line and not even greet me or tell me to have a nice day? Poor way to run a business. The old white guy at the front is rude and inconsiderate. He chose to serve the man behind me in line, likely because I’m a woman, so congrats on losing not only my 42$ purchase I got refunded today; but all future purchases from my multi instrumentalist husband that has been a customer here for over 6 years. I’ll buy from Amazon before giving my money to rude old men. Do better. Hope it was worth it for that dudes 12 dollars worth of strings.
My family came in just a few minutes ago and they were very ride to us. My boyfriend, who is normally a very strong person, just walked out of this place in tears because they made him feel embarrassed. Smh. Rude rude employees who act like musical elites.
