The staff is so friendly. They really make an effort to know each of their customers personally. The menu is simple but just how you want it to taste and the margaritas were spectacular!
Wonderful place to eat.
We had a great meal for our first visit. His AYCE blackened catfish and my grilled scallops were tasty and flavorful. Portions were well worth the price. Definitely a return.
Great experience
We were a party of, the service was great, our waitress was very tentative without hovering. The food was very good, and flavorful. We will be back.
Food was average and kitchen very slow. Servers very nice. Had a nice time.
Not the greatest
This restaurant would get a 5-star for the food but unfortunately what was most concerning was absolutely not a single worker wearing a mask during the COVID-19 Pandemic. With Florida being the epicenter for cases it should be mandatory to wear a mask for the safety of the workers and customers. Found it to be completely unprofessional on the management side of things. Wearing a mask is not a political statement, it’s about respecting others health and well being. Putting customers loved ones at risk by cooking and handling food without a mask makes this an at-risk business and should be addressed immediately.
Dined here for the last time. About 9 months ago it was great. 6 months ago it was so so. Tonight in April it was very disappointing had cat fish grilled it was mushy. Potatoes were hard not cooked. Onion rings burnt to a crisp hard not edible at all. Hush puppies over cooked also, hard . Waitress was good and iced tea good.

Friendly staff but charge way too much for repairs, had to take my guitar out of state on vacation to get it fixed as their tech wouldnt even look at it for at least a month and paid $400 LESS than what they estimated and in one day
knowledgeable staff with some floor model instruments.
Just called the store on December 14, 2022 @1120am to learn from their products and service. Who ever picked the phone had no customer service training and his ways were to be totally rude. He treated me like if I was dumb ( does not seem to want new customers), I could not believe he was mad for asking questions. Ok, it seems I will have to spend my $4060 budget somewhere else. I had to write this review and tell everyone to be aware. I am so glad I saw the true colors of this place before spending a dime. Have a nice day guys!
My ex wife rented my sons french horn from here they were helpful. Then the ex quit paying on it. After trying to take over the account they sent a collectir to my sons school to harrass him then stalked my home till he came home and harrassed him while he was alone till he gave it back. Then i call to find out why any good business would talk and harrass children without an adult present they got rude with me told me i should apologize to them for being behind on account thats not mine after i offered to the manager gary to take on the debt. They claimed an adult was present however i have the video of the person talking to my son. Not good business people. Lost a potential customer ove a french horn they claim was worth thousands i have pictures of the beat up thing and i had to have it serviced by a reputable music company. I dont recomend people who would threaten and scare children. If you chose to do business here i would run checks on the people i would let around kids. Its really sad they came highly recommended.
Guy at the front counter was attempting to flirt with my girlfriend and told her was a virgin? She was creeped out, honestly i wasn’t that mad i almost felt sorry for him for how pathetic he was coming off. Prices are also high regardless, try to higher some staff with some sort of social ability.
Jimmy always has a great selection of vintage, as well as used guitars and amps. He is very honest and always a pleasure to deal with. We are so fortunate to have a store like this in Polk County!
Amazed at this place. Got to play some once in a lifetime guitars and now I own one! Will be back again.. Hopefully on a day when joe bonamassa is in!
Wonderful staff and mind blowing selection
Great selection of guitars. Some stuff you will never see at guitar center.
Sorry….I was next door making a donation to the “Going to the Dogs” thrift store…the owner had two dogs from Cross Pass Pet Rescue…..Very nice shop with lots of quality 2nd hand boutique items.
Vintage all the way… Very nice to deal with.. will go out of there way to help you….
I have done many transactions with Jimmy’s vintage music. I recently traded him a brand new Eric Johnson Stratocaster for a 1965 Gibson es 125. The Gibson had high action and needed to have the neck reset at a cost of $400, so he said.
I took the guitar from Florida to Nashville Tennessee to a luthier who says not only is the neck joint destroyed but the neck has a crack in it from over tightening the truss rod and the guitar has been in a fire. I am out $2,000 because of this.
I will not be going back to Jimmy’s vintage music at any cost.
I’m always up front with anything and everything that I sell and I let people know what the issues are.
I feel I’ve been completely screwed over in this transaction and I am not happy. When I texted Jimmy he called me screaming obscenities as if I had done something wrong.
There are a lot of other places to buy instruments other than someone lack of integrity.
I felt like I was bothering the owner because I was interested in guitars under $500……..
Called in about a violin and the guy who answered the phone gave some wrong information. He was certain he was giving me the correct information but he was wrong. Do not recommend for any questions regarding an old violin.
