Rafi was fantastic! He was the DJ for my daughter’s sweet 16 dance. His lights and music were perfect for the occassion. The kids danced all night and he played her favorite songs. He is very professional and even came out to the venue weeks before the event to discuss setup options. I would definitely recommend Rafi for your next dance party event.
The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable. Rafi is extremely patient and will work through all the details of your music with you, so everything is how you want it 🙂
The studio set up is very impressive. The vibe and atmosphere is very inviting and professional. And the production skills are amazing. This broke single dad from Milledgeville was very impressed with working with Raffi and will be back very soon.

Suggestion to the company:
If you do not have the correct item do not advertise it. Do not send something to a honest paying customer that that honest paying customer did not pay for. Its wrong. Nothing right about it.
Suggestion to possible future customers:
I have never written any reviews on any company. Online or not. Yet I feel very much compelled to do so given this unfortunate circumstance. Please pay very close attention to the items received after you have purchased them from online companies. Especially from companies such as this.
By far the absolute worst online purchasing experience I have ever had. Very much unprofessional and dishonest. I had recently purchased a 55-250 mm zoom lens for my Canon M50. The lens is advertised, on the site, as the IS STM model. The item in which I had received is in fact the regular IS model. The lens in which I had received has noticeable distinct differences on the item itself. The most noticeable being the word Image Stabilizer, in bold letters, posted in the middle of the lens case. The IS STM model that was posted online says, in bold letters, CANON. This does not seem as a honest mix up on behalf of the company but rather the company hoping that the one who purchases the item wouldnt notice, pay attention, or simply not mind. But its wrong. It is a inconvenience to me, customer to have to go through the hassle of mailing this item back in order to receive a refund for an item that should have never been sent to me. I would have to wait, now, in order to repurchase this item for projects that I needed it for now.
6. Ambition Studios Milledgeville
Address: 730 N Wayne St Unit B, Milledgeville, GA 31061 , Baldwin County , Georgia , United States
The workers were very friendly and I got the shopping I needed to do done for college. Offers merchandise for Georgia College. Go Bobcats!
Convenient and staff is wonderful 🙂
Thought this was a regular barns and noble.
No longer really a book store but mainly selling Georgia College merchandise and some stationery items. Also an attached convenience store.
Staff were pleasant, but not much of an inventory available.
How do you have a Barnes & noble with no actual books?!?!? Change the name and call it textbook and sweater store at Georgia college! Such a waste of a historic theater here in milledgeville
I purchased books under their buy 2 get 1 free deal and got charged for all 3. Then they refused to refund me. This is why they have lost to Amazon.
When you go into a store, and the cashier recommends you go elsewhere to get things, that’s not a good experience. Like come on guys, go hit Amazon for textbooks.
Update: they lost my things. I ordered books because they were cheaper there than Amazon for once (not a typical thing). They promptly lost my stuff, charged me for it anyway, and then emailed me several times. It was the worst user experience I’ve ever had.

So many cool things here
Amazing shop ! A must see in Milledgeville
I usually have a difficult time finding treasures at antique stores but here I have a hard time choosing! I never walk out of this store empty handed. So many things for every collector at some of the best prices around. Many bargains to be had!
Not okay.
Door was open, no sign outside saying that they were not open, we walk in we are looking around for a solid 3-5 minutes then an employee or the store owner rudely yelled at us that they weren’t open and to get out.

It’s kinda tucked away in a mini shop. Once you walk in, the overall feel is quite cozy n quaint. Loved the comfy couch with the Christmasy mood all around! Really liked the variety too; not just books! They have educational toys for the kids(*at heart) plus all kinds of essentials associated with a true readers heart( bookmarks, journals, and pens)!!! The staff were most friendly and helpful. Very professional yet warmly personal. He reminded us of their offer(every $30 dollars spent a $10 store gift card is given) and a Walls of Books tote bag for every $50 spent!!! We walked out with 3 tote bags !!! Absolutely love, suggestion, and will return to this book store! Also, they’ve got an “book exchange/store credit” program I’m definitely going to be using!
Good value and atmosphere just right.
Really sucks that you are closed on my days off………
Nice store
I used to work at the oil change place next door. There was a homeless man that lived adjacent to the property for decades, picking up trash in the parking lot and otherwise minding his business. The owner of this place pressured my boss to kick him off the property; I helped him carry his cart, with all of his belongings, through the rain the day he was kicked out. I can’t speak for the quality of the books or staff, since I’ve been disgusted with the store since those events.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE
Quick shopping trip
Nintendo games
Friendly employees. Restroom open and clean. Safe.
They get only 2 because I saw people walking around without mask, this sickness is no joke it has taken several of my family members and Friends people really need to take wearing a mask seriously it only takes one somebody to infect a complete community please let your employees know that it’s ok they can say something to those people that are not wearing masks losing the business of one will not justify killing thousands please and thank you!!!
My son has been taking guitar lessons from here for 2 years. He has learned so much and had the opportunities to play in front of people often. He has met some great friends! Music Medix has given him the confidence not only to play, but to sing, as well. I would recommend this place for any child wanting to learn music and meet friends while doing it!
My son has been learning drums here for about 4 years. He’s been loving it and really enjoys being on stage. My son just added piano lessons to the mix and is looking forward to perfecting his musical skills.
The teachers are all really nice and the environment is very relaxed. Love Music Medix!
Chris Pope is very talented and is a good teacher. My boys are enjoying learning to play the guitar.
14. Blackbird Coffee
Address: 114 W Hancock St, Milledgeville, GA 31061 , Baldwin County , Georgia , United States
Coffee roasted in house, staff that knows what they are talking about and they are willing to answer all kids of silly questions to make sure you get what you want! Thanks Blackbird Milly!!!
For a great cup of coffee in a college-town setting, it’s a must-stop place in Milledgeville
Blackbird is the best! 10/10 cold brew all day, everyday.
Excellent coffee. Great variety. Too expensive.
The chocolate milkshakes are very good and so are the chocolate and peanut butter cup cookies!
Music was too dang loud. Supposed to be a place to chill and talk.
This is a great place to great coffee and study but they have always been kinda pricey. The staff is always nice and it is a great atmosphere but recently they decided to up the price on a variety of items on their menu, one item being their milkshakes. The milkshake that I get is a large which is the same size as a large Chick-fil-a milkshake is 7, 50ish before putting in a tip. It is a shame because I enjoyed going there but with the increase in prices I do not see myself going there anymore.
Not a coffee drinker
The coffee is good. But when u get a latte, or steamed milk beverage. Just know your getting 3 to 4 inches of foam. So larges, and mediums are smalls.
15. Van’s Pawn Mart
Address: 1913 N Columbia St, Milledgeville, GA 31061 , Baldwin County , Georgia , United States
Went in here a while back to pick up a guitar to start my electric journey and everyone was great! I was going to buy an amp I liked, but they talked me into buying one HALF the price because it better suited my needs! AND THEY WERE RIGHT! I LOVE IT! They could’ve made more money if that’s all they cared about, but they thought getting the right equipment for me was more important. The owner even sold me a guitar case at a discount. I’m a customer for life, now.
Great store and great staff!!!
My son takes classes here. They are always helpful and work with us when scheduling. His teacher is really good, and patient. The store had many instruments to offer.
The staff is really nice and welcoming. We recommend this place for music classes or even just to get instruments. My son has been attending for about a yr now. We are so happy we found this place.
Nice music shop. We are pleased with a kid friendly guitar lessons taught by Mr. Mike.
Update:Feb 2022. Still attending lessons and my child has taken a liking to guitar. His finger placement has gotten better and knowing the proper strings for several chords.
Great deals, great service. It’s always nice to have a local, hometown music store for that personal touch. Lessons are also available. Wish there was a bigger selection there, though–go buy some stuff there so they can afford more space! 🙂
Went in to get some supplies for taking care of a trumpet. They didnt have a huge variety but they did gave neat grab and go packs. They did, however, have a huge selection of guitars, ukuleles and other strings as well as a few brass and woodwinds.
Horrible customer service. My dad and I went into the store. The gentleman who answered our question was more eager to talk with the other non paying people in the store. Maybe a bad day? I know I won’t go back.
Rude employees, wouldn’t be surprised if i asked them about squier guitars and they’d start laughing
Courteous & friendly but I wouldn’t take an amp there for repair. I was told that I’d get a call with the diagnosis. 2 weeks later I called only to be told they haven’t been able to find anyone willing to work on it. It clearly states on their website that they repair both tube & solid state amplifiers? I’m a little preplexed..
17. Maranatha Thrift Store

Good deals on items .And the person up is friendly and helpful
Small place but really great prices
The prices are very low
Good quality second hand store
Have some good stuff
Arrived at 12:00pm on Saturday and they were not open. Called with no answer. Please change your hours. I’m not trying to waste my $4.50/gallon gas driving to a closed business.
Arrived at 2:00 on Saturday, was told that they are not open. Change your online business hours if you don’t want people coming to shop on the weekends.
They had one item I was interested in buying and they weren’t willing to sell it they lost my business
18. The Market Collective

Great deals on spring merchandise. Great things for indoor and outdoor.
Love Hobby Lobby
We Love hobby lobby
It’s Hobby Time! It’s 103 degrees outside in sunny Georgia, and if you want to cool off.. browse the Christmas selection, that is HUGE for this time of year. I’m leaving off two stars because I was searching for Halloween decorations and the selection was scant.
Its like toys r us for adults
it’s okay, they are out of a lot of the jewelry stuff and it hasn’t been restocked in a while. the staff isn’t that friendly, some are some aren’t. also for some reason the people who shop here are so rude?? it’s like every rude person in milledgeville decides to shop at hobby lobby. sometimes it’s entertaining sometimes it’s annoying. i prefer michaels but it’s too far.
Overpriced
I went to hobby lobby and received BAD customer service. The employee, Jenna M, she didn’t greet us and turned her back when giving my receipt.
Brand themselves as ultra american but everything in the store is made in China and extremely overpriced.

I bought an Alvarez acoustic/electric guitar (model ad60cesb) on November 19, 2015. John sold me the guitar and he was extremely helpful in helping me choose the right one for me, being that I’m a beginner. It came with a lifetime warranty and when I’m in the market for an electric, which will be soon, I hope they have something that fits my needs and wants. I’m sure I’ll be doing business with them again !
Awesome owner very knowledgeable!!
they set up my guitar and it plays way better.
On this site hours are 10am to 5pm. Get over here at 4:45 and they are closed!
The store seems OK at first glance, but I had a question about sales tax, and the associate (Drew) didn’t know the answer. The manager wasn’t in, so I asked the associate to take my name and number. He flatly refused. I was flabbergasted. I called later and spoke to the manager who didn’t seem to care very much. I went back later in the week. Drew’s still around. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.
This place was better in the past than it is currently. The employees were all sitting around in a circle talking and were clearly staring at me whilst I looked around at their selection of products. I was asked several times if I needed help finding anything to the point of annoyance. I told them numerous times that I was not shopping for anything specific and that I was there to look at their selection since I haven’t been there in years. Upon first glance, they moved their small selection of electric guitars into what was the acoustic guitar room (which is very small). They also moved all the acoustic guitars into the main area. Why? I understand that they may sell better there, but that room was literally engineered for acoustics. In addition, they put up signs asking for assistance for playing each guitar in the shop as well. I don’t think they can make it any harder to actually buy something here. Here are my recommendations for improvement. Employees should maintain a professional manner and not have mannerisms that resemble a lunch “get together” where you are sitting in a circle chatting with one another. Secondly, the acoustic guitars need to be in the acoustic room and the electric guitars need to be back in the main part of the store. The sole reason that room was constructed was for sound acoustics. Finally, listen to the customers. It’s evident when employees don’t listen to customers. In my case, I said that I did not need assistance, yet I was sequentially asked four or five times if I needed any.
