Stopped here on the advice of other RVs at the park where we had stayed the previous night. Wanted a strap button on the end of my dulcimer. the shop owner took some time to examine my instrument and told me she didn’t think it was a good idea. Really appreciated her time and her honesty and we had a nice visit. She even called the local senior center to see if today was the day they had their dulcimer players meet but it was not.
Great shop. Very good selection for stringed instruments. Small store loaded to th gills wit inventory. Knowledgeable, pleasant people… great vibe.
Excellent service and good stuff
Very kind, stocked, but you will pay double what you will online.

Nothing like my local record shop! Plenty of vinyl. All genres. LP and 45’s. I clean house on the punk stuff. When I’m having a bad day, this is where I go for a little “me time”.
Awesome record store suburb service.
I could spend a month of lunch breaks going through all the records he has! This was a fun shop! The owner was great and even placed some custom orders for us!
The ladies at Bay Sound are very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don’t have it, they’ll find it. Excellent!!

I’m so glad this place is here. I have been buying CD’s from Wade since I was a kid. Now it’s vinyl. haha! Funny how things go. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place to pick up your favorite albums.
Cool staff, great place for records
Very cool little record store. My husband and I got a few records and the store owner was very nice.
1st time in downtown Fairhope and 1st time in Dr. Music Records…very cool shop. Vintage and new vinyl, vintage cassette tapes, shirts and other apparel, vintage and new audio equipment, turntables, receivers, tuners, speakers and any accessory you can think of!
And the staff is not only knowledgeable about music but also the best equipment to use to maximize the listening experience.
Best shop of it’s type I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting.
I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!
Very nice new and used records and equipment store hidden in plain site in downtown Fairhope! I was hanging out at Thomas hospital while a loved one was having surgery and discovered this place. Found so many great deals on used records in excellent shape for prices I’ve not been able to beat anywhere online or in person since. Will definitely be a repeat and even frequent customer of this establishment going forward in the future.
Very good selection of vinyl. Found most every band I looked for. Everything I saw was new. Cool place.
If you’re going to use stickers to price your cassettes and you decide to tape all of your cassettes shut on top of that, AT LEAST use something that doesn’t leave a bunch of adhesive stuck to the cases. Also, if this is how you want to price and sell your tapes, could you at least make sure to do some quality control checks before putting these out on the shelves? I mean, come on. You’re basically resealing these for me to open later, only to find out some are broken.
