Great cute shop for records, instruments and supplies. Love the personalized service. Nick and his team are awesome!
I wanted to sell my friend’s guitar and Nick explained the pros and cons of the instrument in great detail. I was very happy with my conversation with them.
Dropped off my vintage King alto sax for some badly needed adjusting/repairs. Neil with Atlanta Prowinds picked it up later from the store. Called me later after looking the sax over and gave me estimate of money and time needed to fix. Delivered it on-time and in-budget. Neil did a great job and the horn plays beautifully now. Thanks Neil! Paul L
Called the store 3 times before arriving employee was sitting down on his phone when I walked in so I’m assuming the phone is not connected in the store.
First time guitar owner needing new strings put on was told to bring in my guitar and stings in from the car.
When I came back in I was to he’s no expert and someone could get to it later.
Not a big deal at all I just wish I would have know that before driving over and being told to go grab my item from my vehicle.
I visited this store which was rated as a great pace to sell vinyl records. Well I agreed to sell some of my records for a paltry $25 to be received via cash app, even though the clerk told me the owner has a habit to forget things, but I was assured my money would’ve be sent the same night or next morning. Still have not received my payment. Extremely unprofessional especially for such a small amount of money. Extremely disappointing and dissatisfied and would advise against utilizing this service
Great sheet music store and, sadly, one of the few remaining. Crammed full of music!
Friendly and clean.
Disappointing
I try to avoid writing negative reviews of businesses because I understand that reviews can affect people’s livelihoods and I take that seriously. In this instance I feel compelled to report my experience with Opus Music due to the owner’s gross irresponsibility.
My son dropped off 18 high quality classical music scores with David to be reviewed for purchase on June 21. They were delivered in immaculate condition in a corrugated cardboard box which also had a rolled up paper shopping bag in the end to keep the books in place. I spoke with David on the phone on the day that they were dropped off and he expressed unquestionable interest in buying the books but said that they would need to be evaluated for price. I suggested that he just hold onto them and evaluate them at his convenience. I heard nothing back from him for a couple weeks so I called to see if he had a chance to look at them and left a message. After a few more days I called again and left another message asking him to check back with me and let me know what he was thinking. Over the next few weeks I continued to leave voicemails and emails pleading just to let me know what was going on. Today (August 6th) I went by the store to pick up my items after hearing absolutely nothing from David. I was greeted by a woman there and I explained that I was unhappy about David’s unwillingness to communicate with me when he is holding my property. She spoke to me about some family difficulties that they have had and apologetically suggested that she give the books back to me, to which I consented. She brought them out from the back and all of the books were sitting in the box at an angle on top of the rolled up paper bag like they had just been tossed into the box. Several of them were bent and two were creased through the whole book. I said “this is unbelievable” and showed her how he damaged the books. She apologized again and said to my dismay for a second time that David was “just trying to help me out”. Exactly how holding and damaging my property and refusing to correspond with me over a span of several weeks is “helping me out” is a mystery to me. I approached him with a simple and appropriate business transaction assuming that his interest was an opportunity to profit from the sale of some very high quality materials. I did not ask for “help” and I certainly did not ask to have my time and resources wasted because David is incapable of handling his own business. I would have been completely fine with a one-line email that said “having family difficulties right now so will not be able to evaluate your materials for…” No problem, things happen… I pick up my materials and wish him the best. I wonder how long he would have held my stuff and continued to dodge me if I had not walked in? Truly pathetic!

Amazing guy, high spirited, knows what he’s doing. From simple repairs to custom design, Tomas can handle it all! You’ll likely even get to learn something while you’re there! *pics coming*
Tomas is an excellent guitar builder. I bought a custom built tele from him and not only is it gorgeous, it sounds amazing and plays incredibly. He’s super accommodating, and provides the best guitar repair service I’ve ever received. I can’t recommend this guy enough. Hopefully I’ll be able to buy even more guitars from him in the future
After my guitar set up, I knew Tomas had done something special. My guitar started pulsating with pure power and adrenaline inside its guitar case. I didn’t even have to open the case. It just sensed my presence, and open up every time I got near it. taking the guitar into my hand, I could feel it leading me. I followed it into the city, where I played an epic guitar solo for three hours on top of a 1978 trans am, with a no fear bumper sticker doing donuts in front of The EARL. Women wanted me, and men wanted to be me. do yourself a favor. Take your guitar to Holgado Guitars. if you don’t have one, then buy one of his. Best decision I have ever made.
Great prices for rentals, good terms, and friendly service.
My experience was very good. Mr Carrie was very helpful and made sure that my daughter had every thing she needed for her band class.
I would give more stars if Google would let me. The customer service is always top notch and each time I have been to the Atlanta Band Center – I’m more impressed than the time before! You always focus on educating and inspiring not just selling a product or service.
Today, I watched as you spoke to a young girl picking up her first instrument. You gave her tips, advice and encouragement – just as you have done for my child.
When it was my turn, I showed you my daughters clairnet and the part that had come off. Not only could you repair it – you did so while I was there so she did not have to miss a day of playing. She is so very happy to have her clairnet home and working perfectly.
Thank you so much!!
I like the guy but he seemed to be only interested in selling me more things than I needed.
Nice peeps.
It contains all band needs
Poor service
They had an open sign lighted up and no one was there. Traveled 15+ miles oneway
This place has a lot of stuff. If you need band books. This place has them for every instrument. Who knew this place was even there? Down side is the sign on the door for “males (to) pull up their pants”. Really? Like that effects the money they will spend in your store. I find that attitude offensive.

Rick is an honest, smart, and hard working man. Rick sold me my first upright piano. He took so much care and effort in restoring the piano, covering some pieces in felt and adjusting and tuning it after delivering it. This is a guy who is committed to his craft, something we don’t see much nowadays. Thank you, Rick! I was sent to Rick by my piano teacher, Ross Marshall.
Rick has always done a great job tuning and moving pianos for me. Very nice, and reasonable rates
We bought our beautiful piano a few years ago from Rick and he has come out to the house and serviced it since. He has been nothing but kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to my friends in a heartbeat.
Lots of pianos and good on repairs
Rick is not a nice guy. Thinks the sun revolves around him. Will be taking my Steinway somewhere else.
The address needs to be updated in Google.

Came in here looking for a very old, rare musical score and they sadly did not have it, but they helped me find it online, and I had a pleasant conversation with the gentleman. The store is a little disorganized but they offer a heck ton of material. They offer piano lessons as well. If there is a score that you need they will most likely have it. Great place to spend time and peruse music.
