We bought an electric guitar for our granddaughter and they helped her out with trying each one until she was happy with the one she was getting.

They helped me find an instrument that I wanted to play that lasted me quite a while I love going there they have a lot of cool music and the there prices are good because I know that the instrument is kept in good condition

The Bartender was great. She was professional, she gets a 5 star but the establishment needs to serve bottle water. The island water is not good. With that said…I do love the Island
Their pizza is pretty good but the tables are usually dirty or sticky. Servers are minimalist at best. Bartender tends to be annoyed by the customers.
Nice place to hang out with friends. They have entertainment on weekend nights. Overall fun place.
I give one star for our star of a waitress. She tried her hardest with the terribly slow service that was given. She was constantly checking on us while we waited a ridiculous amount of time for our food…our food that wasn’t even made right. One meal got completely missed by the chef & then took long to get the simple order out. I will not be showing up again.
Very expensive drinks!
This place was honestly horrible. My family waited 45 minuets for our food and one of us even waited an hour and the service was okay. I would honestly not recommend it.

This is the best Musical Instrument shop for miles around. The are guitars, Cuban tres, a string bass, accordions, marimbulas, classical guitar, flamenco guitar, repairs, knowledge, and warm people.
Great acoustic instruments, I own 2 of their Flamenco Guitars. Super helpful and friendly store staffed by a Berkeley family.
Really friendly place with lots of acoustic, classical, and flamenco guitars and other stringed instruments like ukulele, tres, Cuatro, mandolin, violin, banjo etc.
Nice little used instrument store. Really neat to see the workshop visible in the back.

A great local music shop… I got a good deal on a 20th anniversary Squier Strat.
My experience with this place is 50/50, I’ve been going there for years. My last two experiences are what drive this review. I was looking for a specific instrument. I gave exact name and type and he looked on the site to see if they had it there. He claimed they didnt and tried to sell me something else. Thats just a big no-no. An instrument is like a pair of shoes. Your gonna want to be comfortable and really like it! This is an investment. I went to the site and boom there was the exact thing i was lookin for. 3 versions and he missed all of them? And the time before that. The guy played the pedal examples for me..and kept discouraging me.. like… it was strange. which wasnt very helpful. But years before this i have had nothing but good times here. But im seeing a decline in the customer service. And this is coming from someone who worked in customer service and the art scene. We should strive to do our best! Treat each other like we want. I will totally go back. But i hope that the service will get better.

Awesome selection of used and refurbished guitars, bass, and other instruments (even some old amps and electronic equipment that can be used with MIDIs) definitely recommend checking it out!

Went to buy strings/strap and the guy sold me 12-string strings. When I went back in to exchange them he handed me the correct strings and told me they were the same price (they’re not). I paid $25 for strings…..avoid this scammy shop
Pretty solid selection – staff is unwelcoming and unhelpful. Was trying to support small business and buy here vs Amazon, but the staff didn’t seem interested in helping me or friendly in any way, and on something as simple as which drum practice pad to buy. I was hoping going in-person I could tap into some of their insight around drums & hearing protection for musicians, but there was zero reciprocating from the employee there. Even mentioned he doesn’t know drums – um, shouldn’t music store employees have basic knowledge of every common instrument so they can help customers, especially beginners who know little? Pretty disappointing for an in-person music store.
I’ll be buying online from other businesses in the future.

What a great place with kind and professional customer service! Tastefully decorated music shop with some top-of-the-line inventory. A real treat for professional musicians or aspiring young artists. This is exactly what Saratoga needed…a little music in the village. Tyler seems open to jamming, so I am looking forward to stopping by again.

The staff is awesome! The 12 person patio boat we rented was fabulous! We rented it for the full day for my niece’s 9th birthday and we all had TONS of fun and made memories that will last us a lifetime. We’re definitely coming back!!! Thank you Sugar Barge for an amazing Sunday Funday!!! (P.S. Sorry my pictures don’t do this trip justice)

Worst clam chowder I’ve ever eaten. No taste, very very few clams. Maybe order the burger.
Camped 3 days. Very nice campground that is well kept. Bathrooms and showers where spotless. Really good boat ramp with docks. We didn’t get to check out the live music, bar or restaurant because of the big sign that said you must privide a vaccine card in order to enter or be served.
The food is good and they deliver to your campsite. It is so convenient! People drive by car and by boat ♀️ to eat here. Enjoy! Their fish and chips and clam chowder are the beat!!

My experience at Sugar barge is not a very good one at first I loved it but after awhile it got bad.. I had a horrible time there we where there 6 months or so and then management started showing their true colors this seems to be two sets of rules ones for the customers they don’t like another set of rules to the customers they don’t like I fell into the latter category the one older balding lady at the front desk seems to be somewhat of the problem there but management listens to everything she says the management is like her puppet she seems to run the show they’re not the management and everybody else is afraid of her cuz she’s such a b____ nevermind you know. This is also not a very family-friendly place like they advertise apparently it’s not okay for one of your children to bother a neighbor but it is okay for a drunken fisherman to urinate in your yard at 2 in the morning I reported this and nothing was done about it so remember if you bother a neighbor they evict you if you pee in someone’s yard that’s oka. So anyone staying there watch out for the older balding lady behind the front desk if she is there you better be careful.!! And most of the employees don’t like her either because of the iron grip she has on the management all ad the food in the restaurant is terrible there’s no taste to the food it is overcooked and horrible service is horrible also when you call and order in to go pick it up they will put you on hold and not pick it up again I had to drive down and ask him to hang up the phone order and it happened twice they put me on hold and didn’t come back to the phone I never did come pick up the phone so don’t call and order and pretty much just go to the Rusty porthole there a way way better have a good day
