Had my Ukulele strings changed there. They were knowledgeable and did it the same morning I dropped it off.
Lovely place, great sheet music selection, and some great prices on used instruments. Give them a moment and you’ll enjoy yourself
Best customer service around.
Great staff
We shall see.
Good things coming. Some pics of insperation.

Pretty good but they don’t always have what you need.
Do not come here for electric instrument repairs. When I brought my bass in, I was simply told that my issue was non-existent. After I came in and demonstrated my instrument’s issue, the repairman instructed me to buy a specific input jack from the manufacturer’s website. Then when I brought the new input jack to the repairman he told me that I bought the wrong kind of jack. He offered to buy the part off me. Afterward, I called the manufacture website and discovered that I had actually bought the right part, and the repairman was incorrect. I brought my bass in again, where he claimed to have fixed the issue. But this was only temporary – my instrument is experiencing the same issue it had several months ago. I am not sure if this repairman is inexperienced or if he just blew me off.
Several friends have told me similar stories about this character from New York. I am disappointed because I’ve heard great things about the other luthier who works through this establishment.
I’ve been there 4 times since moving here.. just sucks.. over priced and very limited and you cant get any help shopping.they lost mega cash cuz they wouldnt even talk to me.try 2 street in eureka they sold me a few nice guitars at a really great price and…customer service lol..it’s really for college kids not real musicians.

Address: 511 F St, Eureka, CA 95501 , Blue Lake , California , United States
Very helpful, purchased what I went in for. Will go back
The owner was very helpful, honest and friendly. He knew alot about music and instruments and helped me find a recording microphone and cable that would meet my needs. The store was clean, organized and inviting. Its not a big store but seemed to have a really good amount of instruments and equipment. The prices were fair and I was overall very satisfied when I left. I will definitely be going back. (I didn’t buy the guitar in the photo, I took the photo for someone I know who is Niner fan. He had very nice guitars there)
Great little store. Was able to get a sweet bass guitar for an even sweeter deal. And the black Friday experience was even sweeter then that.
Helpful and informative staff. They enjoy sharing music history and tips.
It’s not Two Street Music but it’s music
It is a private kind of shop, a bit more sedate and serious than 2 St, who. I also do business
3. Wave Lounge
Address: 777 Casino Way, Blue Lake, CA 95525 , Blue Lake , California , United States
Way overpriced alcoholic beverages.
Bartenders who don’t know how to make basic drinks.
Food that does not taste as good as is should for how much it costs.
Rude, uptight workers.
Machines that don’t pay off.
Also, I’ve had two jackets stolen right off my chair while I was dancing and nothing was done about it either time.
If I have to go there for any reason, I don’t wear a jacket and my purse is always on my person.
4. Mantova’s Two Street Music
Address: 124 2nd St, Eureka, CA 95501 , Blue Lake , California , United States
Even if you’re not a musician you’d have fun wandering around in here. They have everything you for your music needs
Friendly helpful staff. The store is set up beautifully with all instruments in reach and able to play. It was a jammin good time.
Excellent staff and really helpful and very spacious.
Bad experience getting my guitar “professionally set up” at Mantova’s. The technician did a poor job filing the nut (horrible binding and tuning issues) and put the bridge on backwards so the strings wouldn’t seat properly. One of the nut grooves was filed way too low because it was hung up on the bridge saddle and not in the groove. The job also took about twice as long as it should have. The guys in the shop are nice and helpful but I would look elsewhere for servicing your guitar.
Over priced
Really Personable staff, seemed family owned and operator. What a quaint music store.
NEVER SHOP HERE!!WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
Anthony sold my autistic son a crap guitar and when it kept breaking they actually told him it was his fault because he didnt know how to play. He has been taking lessons for 3 years and is very good and has 3 orher guitars with no problems. They discouraged my autistic kid from music, the only thing that makes him happy, and should be ashamed of themselves.
terrible experience dealing with these people. the owner is dishonest and behaves like a thug.
Let’s just say I had a complaint about an employee and I felt it was handled poorly.
Michael Walker has set up nearly all of my instruments (mandolin, tenor guitar, Martin D18), including a number of neck resets. Work is top notch and playability is great!
Michael built a guitar for me – he’s a wonderful craftsman and very thoughtful and reliable person.
Fixed my two buzzy strings with some excellent fret work. Fixed the loose input jack and did a great set up. Guitar plays best ever. Friendly, helpful – highly recommend.
Excellent performer. Had the pleasure of meeting James at a restaurant where he was the featured artist. Wonderful voice, good songs, and a kind person. Hoping to hear the trio again soon!
“My go to guy” when it comes to highly technical and professional service.
Jason is a expert in electrical , mechanical work, upgrading tuners pickups, switch’s, bridges and nuts.
As well as quick turn around on maintenance
He’s worked on my 12 string(1964 Takamine)
And my Parker Electric installing Ratio tuners from Graphtech fixing wiring issues and string replacement.
Always professional it’s a joy to drop my babies off knowing they always come back sounding sweeter and playing smoother!
Jason and Jack are a good team. Jay repairs and builds tube amps and instruments and Jack makes sure they produce up to expectations, testing them to the limit. I’ve had numerous bass guitars set up, and a custom 5 string fretless bass built by Jay and have only good things to say about him! I highly reccomend his services.
Jason is a real pro, I found my amp guy for life.

I am an adult student. Bonnie is an excellent teacher. I progress well with her guidance, pressing forward at almost the perfect clip for me, challenging me whilst keeping me engaged and excited to learn more. In three months of lessons, I’ve never felt frustrated or stuck. Out of necessity, she is doing lessons online now.
Fantastic teacher
Bonnie is well educated in music and is a knowledgeable teacher. The “studio’s” location is less than convenient, and parking in the neighborhood is challenging. Bonnie became noticeably less engaged during sessions once I informed her (with the mandatory month’s notice) that we were going to cease lessons. The final two lessons were started five minutes late. If you are looking for lessons only on a shorter-term basis I would suggest someone else. This location is not wheelchair accessible/ADA compliant.

Had the black keys records I was looking for so perfect.
Small, but very cool. Good selection, although I often have to order my purchases. Cool posters, rarities and more than once their awesome in-store vinyl spinning has led me to great previously unknown treasures!
Stopped in on my way back home to BC. Excellent store, great reggae section and selection one of the best I’ve seen, staff friendly and helpful. Bought a couple of great CDS. Will definitely stop in again if I’m down this way again. Thanks
Nice but overpriced
Just go!
For a little record store, this place carries a pretty good selection. The staff is also very helpful when I can’t find what I’m looking for and are pretty knowledgable in music. I do, however, wish they were open just a little later. There have been a few times now where I’ve wanted to swing by after work or dinner, but they were closed.
Went into this record store and bought a brand new vinyl. I am playing this record on a brand new $300 Sony turntable player and I already own this exact vinyl record in a different color variant so I was surprised to hear half of the songs on side B had warp Issues, static and didn’t play right. I take this record back into Peoples Records the next day and the owner tells me that he will listen to it on his record player and see if there is an issue. The speakers in this store are so old and so burned out that you can barely hear anything so I ask him to turn it up he tells me that 80% of the time there is an issue with one of his vinyls it comes from the customer buying and using a cheap record player. At this point I am irritated and tell him that doesn’t make sense and I’m sure he gets new vinyls that just don’t play right on occasion and the owner again said it’s very rare. So then guess what? The record did the same warped thing on his player! So I told him he was wrong and he told me he would give me my money back but I had to leave the store and not come back. So I told him he could take his $35 Midnights album and stick it up his a$$. Better to avoid this guy at People’s Records and just shop online.
The Owner has responded below and I was nothing close to unhinged. He was assuming I was less than smart and had a cheap record player. I was not yelling at him what would I be mad about I got my $35 back. There was only one person in the store. If anything the owner was yelling and couldn’t even tell me why he was so mad. He had zero argument and it killed him to have to refund me my money. His cheap a$$ didn’t even give me my tax back as he tossed $35 on the counter. And he indeed heard the album defect because once I told him to turn it up it was obvious to everyone. At first he didn’t turn it loud enough because he DID NOT WANT TO HEAR THE ISSUE PLAY BACK so he could tell me I was wrong and reject my $35 return. He also heard the issue clearly because I said, “Well there is your once in a lifetime occurrence of a bad new sealed vinyl sold at your store sir.” He then said he would give me my money back only if I left the store??? I said believe me I was never coming back, and I did tell him he would be getting a bad review. The record selling buisness must be tight.
Exploitive pricing – even more expensive than buying from the scalpers on Discogs. I visited again after many years and 9/10 records I pulled off the shelf were heavily scratched and there’s no way would have played clean. There was a new record I was interested in being sold for more than $50 but the going price is just over $30. A complete waste of time unless you want the nostalgic experience of buying records in-person. Better to wait and buy records when visiting big cities.
I tried to like this place over the last two decades but it’s always the same.

One of the best casino on the north coast.
Beds are comfy. Wish this wrestler could use the pool, but it was nice yesterday.
Its aight
Not too shabby
I only went there to jump a co-workers car. Nice facility, very clean.
Slots are the worst payback of any casino
Unprofessional like conduct.
Went to alice’s for dinner and the server was lame! Had to ask for water! Then she brought our entrées out but forgot the sides! Oh and we had to ask for steak knifes! We definitely won’t be going back!

Amazing selection of vintage records, posters, tapes and CDs
Great record store with a large variety of LPs, 45s, CDs and cassettes. Also posters and t-shirts. Good prices, knowledgeable and friendly owners/staff.
Nice store with friendly owner (and dog). First thought it was on the expensive side for jazz records until I noticed another jazz section in the middle which also had great items but at lower prices. So likely there was a different mid-tier and high-tier section.
