Went into this store this past weekend to window shop with my husband. The atmosphere of the store drew us in. Jobi was very kind,, and you could just tell he was so passionate about what he does, and was very knowledgeable about music. Huge collection, and we could’ve spent hours there. Will definitely be returning back.

Music Junction is the best music store to send your kids if they want to learn how to play a instrument, all the teachers and owner are very, nice, patient, and caring and you really learn how to play your instrument. My kids and I love this place.
Lovely little music shop, they might not have had the baritone ukulele strings I was looking for but I certainly wasn’t sent home empty-handed, either! After a nice gentleman patiently took the time to look through boxes of single packs of strings for a good 15 minutes, he found exactly the one I needed- ( and the only one in the store!) to replace to get me by until he gets more baritone ukulele string sets into his shop. He charged an honest rate for it and I left a happy customer, even though I didn’t necessarily leave with h what I originally came for. 10/10 definitely recommend!
Classic music store, specializes in acoustic instruments. Excellent instructors in guitar, mandolin, banjo, violin and uke. Also piano.
I got a great like-new guitar here, and I love it! I asked for a certain feel and playability, in a certain (low) price range, and they found me the perfect one! They even fixed it up for me (usually a paid service) for free. The owner and employees are really nice, and the store has a family atmosphere. I do wish they had more selection of items, but they will order pretty much anything you want, so that makes up for it.
They checked out my musical instruments for me, and told me yes they would make nice gifts for my grandchildren I was really appreciative.
thank you, Music Junction.
Overpriced, poor selection, and very poor service (an employee was ridiculously patronizing to my friend’s teenaged son). Several acquaintances have voiced similar experiences. I will never go back.
I never thought I’ll get such a horrible service and attitude. Would never step into this shop and certainly discourage anyone from visiting it.
Lack of professionalism and client orientation.
Driven by money and greed.
Overprice and not professional work. That’s what I experienced, and I learned my lesson to trust my guts when, in the beginning of the discussion about the work that should be done, I heard the comment. I asked to defret my bass and asked how much it would cost. The answer was 150$ ( another place I asked $80-90, but I could not do it immediately. Also, the location was less convenient for me), Leon asked $150 for defreting , because he will have to remove the string !!!! Of course, you have to remove strings. It’s part of the job. When I checked the bass, which I just got while checking it at Leon’s shop, I realized that I also have to change the electronics and pickups. I asked Leon if he could do all the jobs before November 1 because this is when I’m flying and need the bass way way before that. He agreed.
I gave him a bass on Sept 5th. I got electronics a month later on Oct 3rd. Nothing was done by that time. The bass was just lying there.
When we were discussing defretting, he said he would refill the empty frets groves with wood and asked me what I want dark or light wood. I asked for dark. In the end, he felt it with an epoxy and did a sloppy job. Part of the frets aren’t filled with epoxy.
Electronic weren’t salder properly and when I explained what the problem was and asked him to resolved it he replied that he spend already so much time on my bass and can’t fix it immediately and I have to wait until the middle of next week, knowing that I’m flying in the begging of the week and can’t pick it up because of my work. On top of that, the setup of the bass was horrible. The action was at maxim height it can be. When I mentioned that, he replied that he didn’t want the string to touch the fretboard !!! What kind of noncensence? On top of that, he accused me of being dishonest with him about the date I need my bass. I still don’t understand how.
I paid him in full what he asked me when we had a deal, fulfilling my part of the deal. I paid $380, and he reminded me that it was $390( which I forgot) .
I was so frastreted and didn’t want to deal with this greedy man.
Until the end, I was keeping hope in my heart that he at least would ask to pardon him and reduce the price, but there was no sorry, let’s fix it or something. He doesn’t care.

My husband and I loved the customer service here as well as the prices. Very low prices and great customer service.
They always have an interesting selection, and can sometimes make you a great deal.
Store is very clean, customer service is great. Unlike lending bear they run a Pawn shop noto a dirty thrift store.
Really nice people
DO NOT BUY A GAME CONSOLE HERE! I bought a wii and the disk drive barely worked and made an awful sound. I tried to return it the very next day bc they said since the disk went in and out that it was a remorse return when I have to go buy a new one that actually works properly. It is not a remorse return if its the product I actually wanted! I knew this place was sleazy but WOW!
Worst pawn shop ever avoid at all cost
Very rude people. The kind of people that laugh in your face instead of simply saying “We can’t give you that much”. Very unprofessional and probably the worst customer service I’ve ever received in a pawn shop. I recommend Lending Bear down the street!
10. Hoggtowne Music

I’ve been going to Hoggtowne for years to get my Les Paul routinely restringed. Over this past weekend I picked up an Ibanez JBM100 Jake Bowen Signature series guitar and was really cautious about where to take it for a set up. I’ve never owned a piece of music gear this nice and have never played on a floyd rose. I knew I was too scared to start messing with it myself so I decided to take it into Hoggtowne. They were extremely knowledgeable on what I was bringing to them and I learned a lot about what I was getting into with this guitar.
I dropped the guitar off on a Monday and it was finished by Wednesday afternoon, earlier than anticipated. Let me tell you something, this guitar is an absolute joy to play. I’ve been playing it all day (literally) since picking it up from the shop. The set up is perfect and I will 100% be a lifelong return customer. Best place to go to in Gainesville guaranteed.
This is a wonderful business. We have “grown” with them from their original site, to the site next door, to the newest and largest site. They keep growing because they are so amazing with customer service and knowledgeable, practical advice about so many types of instruments and music. I highly recommend their store and especially the piano lessons with Will Johnston. They have an amazing group of people.
Absolutely amazing experience! We walked in at 5:45 when the store closes at 6pm and the staff was so welcoming. They did a fitting for our daughter and provided us with so much information. They were patient, informative and just all around awesome!! Truly the way a business should be ran!! Thanks for an awesome experience!!
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this shop. They did have a nice selection of Martins at reasonable prices and seemed like a decent shop otherwise.
Went to get a tuner they needed to price correct from the site, and they did. But also got a Hohner Puck that was repackaged (to be fair, idk if by them) and a draw hole didn’t work at all. That was the last one, so they had to switch with an Old Standby, and if you know harmonicas, that’s just a trade down even though it was more expensive on their shelf. I know it’s harder to do a refund, but I’d have rathered that. These things combined left a bad taste in my mouth.
Overpriced!!
Continues to charge me for a flute that has been paid off

Well, it is Wal-Mart! The same as any! Nothing creative, nothing original, just prefab everything! No hand sewn quilts, or down pillows. No designer magic. No antiques, no solid wood furniture, no brass, no beaded Indian crafts. No real gourmet cheeses or bags of Indian spices. Cheap, yeah. Easy yeah. Crowded yeah.
Always busy, produce could be better. Great for my baking needs. Also need better stocked pet foods. Wish they hadn’t changed the set up of self check out on remodel.
Actually had check out counters open and associates ready to help!
The Walmart grocery pick up is a joke.
Called to ask a question about photo center and got transferred to them which they never answered so I called back two times and no answer. Funny though because there is always someone just sitting there doing nothing every time I walk by when in store
Sucked

Address: 3210 SW 35th Blvd #203, Gainesville, FL 32608 , Bradford County , Florida , United States
These guys are very knowledgeable and friendly, highly recommend for all musical needs.
I’m a regular customer, and the staff has always been very helpful! They’ve ordered guitars for me that weren’t in stock, and they make sure I’m satisfied with my purchases.
We went in to look at some acoustic drums. We found a nice PDP, kit. Christi, John and Jamal were GREAT with the transaction. A very great experience.that keeps me coming back .
Friendly and professional. The repair man is great and efficient. Very happy with my repair.
Not as big as the other branches that we’ve been to. Doesn’t have an inventory of most things I’m looking for.
Love the buy online pick up in store.
After exiting the acoustic guitar room, I realized my, now growing, frustration was due to the fact that – only ONE, out of seven , or eight, of the instruments I tried out, had fresh strings.
Then looking to buy INDIVIDUAL- wound & unwound strings, I found the same little, worn wooden box, I remembered seeing the last time I had been there, five months ago. It was crammed with the same nasty collection of unorganized, single-strings.
When I asked a guy at the counter if it was possible to order more single strings, and make an effort to re-stock the existing collection, he simply smiled, stared at me for a while and said, “Nope.” – long pause – I then laughed a genuine LAUGH… – another long pause. “Oh”, I said, “…you’re not kidding.” Looking shameful he said, “They won’t let us…”
I’m not going to finish this story. You can figure out how it ends. I buy my strings ONLINE these days.

Strange…
Disappointed, the employees did not even greet me in the store, I wanted to buy a guitar and they did not have the time of day. Too busy with ??? To help.
Discovering the handpan might just change your life, It did mine! If you are interested in learning to play handpan and investing in an instrument, you MUST contact Peter Levitov. Peter has a wealth of experience and many contacts in the handpan community and helped me to discern the quality of an instrument and find what fits me. In addition, I have found Peter to be an amazing teacher who has helped me go deeper into the music no matter what it is I am playing. I am a better musician for having spent time with Peter and Handpan360. I have found my time with Handpan360 to be so much more than just learning technique. It is an experience that has enriched all of my life and those I touch. If you decide to take a dive or even just a dip into Handpan360, you won’t regret it!
Handpan360 gave me unparalleled access to top notch instruction. I was fortunate to attend a small and intimate concert, followed by a long workshop the following day.
The environment to the concert was relaxed and informal and the venue was perfect. The performances (Kabecao and Handpan360) were really enjoyable and have proven to be quite memorable.
The workshop was well organized and structured. The instruction was clear, interactive and suitable for all skill levels. I actually sat next to someone who had never played a handpan! There were plenty of instruments (tongue drums and handpans) provided which complimented each other well.
I look back fondly on my experience and am excited by the prospect attending other workshops! Peter, who is quite warm and genuine, was quite fun to be around too. He is on the forefront of handpan pedagogy, so it was great to see him in action.
I think Peter Levitov is one of the most knowledgeable hand-pan teachers in the world, bringing almost 20 years of experience with the handpan community into his studio. He has an incredible, ever changing stock of handpans from some of the best makers from around the world. His knowledge of other instruments and world musical traditions such as konnakol, the ancient mother of percussive music, also only adds to his deep capacity for sharing musical wisdom. Perhaps greatest of all, he teaches and conveys presence in playing, which I believe is very important and often overlooked in music as a transmission of energy. Peter is a humble well full of water and will meet you with compassion and insight wherever you are at in your handpan journey.
18. Dollar General
Address: 831 S Walnut St, Starke, FL 32091 , Bradford County , Florida , United States
It’s a nice place to shop for inexpensive items. I go there, mainly for household items.
Low prices for general merchandise
You can buy stuff for a dollar
They didn’t have exactly what we needed, but we made due. The price was good on what we did find to buy. This store has really been cleaned up, since I was last there. Have not visited here in quite a while (even though it’s closer to us), because they have a newer, larger store just a mile away. Enjoyed the visit though.
Has a lot of stuff. Seems to be unorganized.
Very rude employees stuff every where
This is the dirtiest store. It is ever cleaned or swept.
Although the employees provide excellent customer service.
