I like the new manger he’s friendly but just needs to clean the store up so people can get around inside
I always enjoy walking around DG! Usually find what I need at a reasonably good price.
They still haven’t updated the address after they rebuilt the store somewhere else. There’s always 1 person working and they just ignore the line and keep stocking. And most of them are untrained. Their self check out has never worked
The employees especially the manager are beyond rude. When you ask for assistance they act like you’re an idiot.
The line too long need more help
2. Covington Music
Address: 1288 Jackson Ave, Chipley, FL 32428 , Bristol , Florida , United States
Bill is awesome, I’ve been in and out of his store since high school and I always recommend people here.
It was very good and he was very helpful
Friendly and very talented.
I went in to get Mr. Convington to change the strings on my guitar at the end of May 2018. It’s almost the beginning of September and I’ve heard nothing after almost four months. I left a voicemail and have tried to get in contact with him to no avail.
Deceitful man who runs this place. He lies about what he will do then tries to make you buy stuff.
3. Redbox
Address: 17830 Main St N, Blountstown, FL 32424 , Bristol , Florida , United States
Super friendly staff. Everyone here knows what they’re doing. I refuse to shop at any other store in town!
I can get things at MusicMasters that I can’t get at other stores in town
Great selection of instruments.
Local shop with smallish guitar and amp selection. I think their main business is school band type stuff. Nice people working there.
Absolutely incompetent personnel. A few weeks ago I visited MusicMasters to look for some digital pianos with good actions, but since they didn’t have any higher-tier models, I got a business card from one of the salesmen and went home.
After a few days I sent him an email asking about particular models and he said he’d ask manufacturer about the possibilities of bringing them for demo and get back to me. After he had not responded for 2 weeks I followed up, but my emails went ignored. I called to the shop to see what is going on and every time I got the same answer: tell us your name and email address and we will get back to you. Except they didn’t. I would be ok with them saying “sorry, we can’t bring in the model you wanted”, instead of being ignored like that.
Congratulations, MusicMasters. Finally, after weeks of waiting I’m buying from a different retailer. Is this how you do business? I would certainly not recommend this shop to anyone.
Cool selection and nice staff, but I asked them to replace my nut on my guitar because of a slight rattling. I paid 50 dollars for them to make the rattling much worse and for them to tell me to contact my guitar manufacturer. Don’t use their tech support
Went to the store in person to rent equipment for school. The salesperson told me to do it on line instead, this was on a Friday. I tried 30 minutes after leaving the store and the website for rentals was down . It stayed down all weekend and into Monday. On Monday I called and asked to reserve what we needed and they could not do that over the phone. We just drove back up there to find out they are now out of the kits we needed.
5. McDonald’s
Address: 20495 W Central Ave, Blountstown, FL 32424 , Bristol , Florida , United States
Top 10 of Macdonald from North Dakota to Florida. Freshest, best tasting Macdonald around.
Pretty good place to get fast service and truck and RV parking
I love McDonald’s and I’m familiar with the Costa’s locations. However, this one always seems slow and they’ve messed up my order some how the last 4 times I went. (That being said, McDonald’s as a whole and the Costa McDonald’s other than this location are some of my favorite to visit.)
It’s a McDonald’s
Fast and friendly
Bluntstown fl. Location seriously ripped me off. 1 sausage biscuit w/cheese 1 hash brown 2 LG. Sweet teas, the woman charged me almost $10. I will never go there again. It’s double what all other McDonald’s charge for the same order.
They just can’t get it right no matter what I order and always cold fries
Supposed to be open at 5am, waited, waited, finally left and went elsewhere.
6. Guitar Center
Address: 2415 N Monroe St Suite #600, Tallahassee, FL 32303 , Bristol , Florida , United States
David was a huge help both times I was there getting a sound system and microphone stands. I will be back to get an acoustic guitar at some point.
Lots of well maintained
costumer serveve
It’s not a huge store but there is nice selection. I love the acoustic guitar room.
Perfect place to waste away a few hours
Very nice. They did not have instore, what I needed
They were friendly and helpful.
theres a young rude kid who works here almost cussed him out…
Unfortunately they are the only music store who does not make deals in their merchandise. I went to musiciansfriend.com and got a way better deal online. I called the local store and the manager said he would take off $50 off a guitar that had a scratch on it. So no discount just the $50 for the scratch. I also explained I was interested in purchasing a whole drum kit as well and even with that still no discount. Musiciansfriend online chat and got $700+ off and a warranty and picks and cables. Wow. I just had purchased a guitar and a ukulele from there and now wish I hadn’t. 🙁 They will most likely be out of business soon. :(. Staff is very friendly though
Couldnt get any help. Everyone that worked there kept walking by with no one asking if I needed anything
I was looking for a 12 string that day and walked out with nothing.

8. UpBeat Music
Address: 913B Beal Pkwy NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 , Bristol , Florida , United States
Puedes encontrar todo sobre aparatos musicales, y muy buenos percios
The young lady was excellent, and she spoke with enthusiasm about my needs of wanting to buy a product in the store.
I have found that usually when I’m looking for something here, the better items are in the Fort Walton store. Which is a shame because Crestview needs a great music store as well.
As far as service goes, the store representative is kind, but sometimes has a “I could take it or leave it” attitude on you being there. I’m not trying to be ugly, but when you are in sales, you need to be excited that you have a customer in the store and I’m not saying backflips and circus clowns, but just being very attentive and helpful on getting you what you need vs “no, that’s in our FWB store. Sorry”.
…and I’m just attempting to get strings and sticks.
Very nice and helpful staff
Most of the staff is super helpful
Do not take music lessons at this place of business. They are charging more than anyone in town and the owner is extremely rude. We switched to Grow Your Gift Music on Beal Parkway and it was the best decision for my daughter.
9. Pillowtalk
Address: 16988 NW, 10th St, Blountstown, FL 32424 , Bristol , Florida , United States
They sell broken washing machines to everyone. then they lie to you and tell u they do work when they don’t. Just get ur money . And refuse to give back your money. They don’t have no sign posted about non refundable or exchanges. They sell other stuff . Say it’s new when it’s old as hell. This place is a scammer. Don’t buy from them at all.
10. Morrell Music Company
Address: 16 23rd St, Bristol, TN 37620 , Bristol , Florida , United States
Great people, always a fair deal when doing trades. I highly recommend them.
Justin Morrell is the reason this family owned business continues to thrive. Terrific customer service and friendly atmosphere make this store stand out from all the rest. My drums are killer and can’t wait to buy more instruments from Morrell Music!!!
Nice
I bought a Yamaha PSS A50 keyboard from Morrell Music Company last month online. I wanted to make certain this was new so I could give it as a gift, and the email reply from Justin Morrell was “Yes, we do indeed have a several of the PSS A50’s in-stock. They are indeed brand new!” When I received the keyboard the box was breached, I carefully opened it and found there were 4 dead Sunbeam batteries inside, and black dots on the white keys, looks like a floor model to me. I called and spoke to Justin who told me store demo models are new. The fact is floor models must be sold “as is”. It is insulting I made a point of checking with Morrell Music if this was new and they could have shipped me one of the several new sealed in stock items, but choose to sent me a demo model.
I believe according the the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) I have the right to keep the used keyboard as a free gift and they need to either send me a new one or refund my credit card. They violated the contract and I’m not required to return it.
I recommend Morrell Music let customers know when they are receiving a floor model. I understand if someone likes the sound of a particular guitar and wants to buy that floor model, just represent what it is.
In this Covid infected world customers should know if they’re receiving a product that is being touched by customers, not new from the factory.
I contacted Fidelity where the credit card was charged, while Fidelity told me it would not be ok for me to start a business and engage in the same bait-and-switch scam I was a victim of (sell as new substitute a used product), there is nothing they can do about it. I contacted the Bristol County police and they are aware of the bait-and-switch operations.
I went into the store to buy something and couldn’t find anyone to help me. After tracking down a young boy I asked a question about an instrument I was intere in. The sales associate didn’t know anything about it and wasn’t willing to find out either. I think the art of salesmanship is lost especially in this store.
Price check online before you purchase. They have no qualms selling you expensive firewood.
Wasn’t very nice or helpful didn’t look much because of don’t recommend it
Customer service sux. I was attempting to sell a super nice and very rare guitar and was told to bring it back due to the fact there wasn’t anyone there at the time qualified to estimate it’s value. Came back 2 days later only to be told they charge $30 for appraisals but in “my interest” they would do a “quick one”, just to be offered $125 for a NV-245 Norlin Epiphone 12 string acoustic electric. Just rating my experience.
