All things Kpop- Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing depends on you. If you’re shopping around in the The Source, you likely have a favorable view on Kpop. Heck, you probably even have a favorite group. Nice place to browse around after KBBQ with some milk tea in hand.

Loads and loads of K-pop goods, from newer artists to even older artists like EPIK HIGH. Pretty decent selection despite the small size of the store (the other K-pop store, although larger is mostly stationary supplies) and reasonably priced. Definitely better than paying $40+ online for shipping and handling AND tax (some items are probably pricier depending on the item though. Staff is friendly. Now I don’t have to wait and head to LA every once in a blue moon for K-pop goods.

Good selection of albums in the front & back of the store despite the small size! A bit hard to navigate when there are multiple people inside due to the bins in the middle but other than that it’s a great store to visit 🙂

KPOP STANS & BUYERS BEWARE!!!! Terrible experience with this shop online. They mailed out two kpop cds at over 50 dollars total and did not even bother to put basic US postal insurance on the mailed package. Instead they shipped it as media mail (which frankly benefits the BUSINESS not the buyer in this instance since they charged me handling fees too so more expensive than regular media mail.). Thanks to this unprofessional practice my items were stolen by someone in my building upon arrival. US postal does not investigate media mail fraud and this shop will not even honor a resend unless I pay them more uninsured shipping and handling (WHY WOULD I EVER?), despite the fact I contacted them to alert them there was an address transcription error in order to prevent the theft beforehand. They did not care and gave no assistance and my items were subsequently stolen after the postal carrier could not be convince to track an uninsured media mail. I contacted my card company but this business is lying AND PLACED THE BLAME ON ME. So no albums, no refund, their site does not even use Paypal (again more UNINSURED shipping/business practices) so they are sure to rip you off with no penalties or recourse. I’ve had better service from private Instagram kpop fans as sellers than this so-called business. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!

Not only was the nct lightstick i bought $30+ more than original price, it didn’t even work at the concert. I followed all steps to connect it. My friend got it from the same place and it wouldn’t connect to the Bluetooth either. Someone who got it from kpop usa showed us how to connect it as if we were doing something wrong (we weren’t) but it just wouldn’t work. We were the only ones in our section with unconnected lightsticks.

I went to this store after checking that the albums I wanted were in stock even posters but they said they didn’t have it and I should have just came earlier to get it, BUT STILL TOLD ME TO PAY FULL PRICE AS IF I WERE BUYING POSTER. so I asked to price match with the website price since it would be reasonable to do so but they had that attitude of I don’t really care it you buy from me, saying I should just buy it online. every single time i went, they never have posters for any album I wanted. the store quality itself is pretty sketchy and most albums were in mid conditions, some had dust others ripped packaging honestly disheartening. I ended up going to a different store that although the tax price is higher it’s in way better condition and I ended up buying my albums for cheaper, if you guys have the time to drive like 15 more minutes, go to kpop republic please. their website is always updated, usually has a lot in stock, and is actually honest with you with quality customer service. you can see how much ofa difference it is. this side of this place should honestly be shown more. I see so many 5 star reviews for this place, but they never really have 5 star fit quality. I hope people do more research before buying their albums and getting ripped off.

this is a review for an online order! i haven’t had the chance to go in store yet. i decided to make an order with KPlace because all the albums i wanted were in stock; one released earlier this month and then some from march and april. the website was easy to navigate, everything was pretty straight forward. i received an order confirmation right after and then 20 mins later a shipping confirmation! soooo fast! my order arrived the next day!! all the albums were packaged well. i will deff order from KPlace again!!

Always fun shopping for my favorite music. I like that they carry the Korean magazines now too!

Some the most AFFORDABLE k-pop albums I have ever seen! They have the best prices for k-pop albums compared to all the other stores at The Source. They have a pretty decent variety.

Along with some official merch… they have a lot of unofficial k-pop and LINE friends merchandise as well. So make sure you look carefully! They also have lots of fun knick-knacks and items for people that aren’t into k-pop as well! (stationary, toys, trinkets, and household items, etc.)

This store is hidden in the back of The Source near the amphitheatre. I had no idea this store was here the whole time. Definitely a cool place to window shop and pick up some k-pop goodies. If you give them your phone number, they have a rewards program as well.

Fairly large place that when I first walked in my first thought was like it’s a mini so mixed with a whole bunch of k-pop merchandise. Shirts of your favorite k-pop group, etc. Too many items to list. Wish they had a little bigger selection of large size posters for k-pop groups. It’s a very cool place.

I feel like I’ve never really had a particularly great nor terrible experience here. The staff are kind of… eh? They’re not too great with customer service. They’re always conversing amongst each other and some of them have attitudes.

They do have a lot of kpop items, but other than albums it’s more unofficial merch/stationery/toys. Some items are really pricey for some reason too, when the same things can be found at other kpop shops in socal for cheaper. I will shop here if I really want something and I can’t find it in other stores, but this will never be my first choice.

I’ve attended three photocard trading events (bts, twice, and svt) and those events are helpful, but they never put up any official rules about selling at those events. My friend brought a binder for her to sell her extra pcs to one of the events and a staff member went through her binder, came back with two other workers, and told her that she can’t sell because the prices are different for different members and that’s against their rules. WHAT? There were no rules on selling in any announcement posts on instagram, so she didn’t know. Plus, member pricing is normal so she thought it would be okay. It’s not like they were more than $3 apart. They were all pretty cheap too. She ended up just trading but it was just such a crazy concept. They say you’re allowed to sell at the trading events but just beware!

so, they have a lot of stuff, it’s a nice place. but the employees… not that they’re bad but i just don’t have a good experience.

one of the employees in particular is always rude, whether you see her in person or call the store. she’s always in a bad mood and glaring at you, and she’s always on her phone.

additionally, i bought about 3 albums from this store for the stray kids 5 star comeback. they had preorder benefits and it was random – you got to pull from the stack to get your own member. i came there around 4 times around the comeback release, and i saw them allowing people to pull multiple times or just giving them the member they wanted, with no issue. but when i came to get my stuff & asked to repull/get a different member because i had duplicates at home, they were really rude and declined. i’m not sure if it’s favoritism from normal customers but either way i’m extremely unhappy.

not to mention, i’ve purchased albums from them more than once. 2 of those times for some reason, things were missing from the album, and they refused to work with me.

overall, i think it’d be better for you to just walk a bit further down the source & go to kpop music town. it’s only $1 or $2 more expensive & they are a lot more accommodating there.

usually kplace is one our go to kpop shops for my friends and i, but after recent experiences it seems as though we will go to any other store before this one.

i preordered taeyong’s shalala albums for store pickup the day of release and was very excited to receive my order. a couple days later, kplace received their shipment so began the process of waiting for my email saying my albums were ready for pickup. about 5 business days later i still had no notice saying my albums were ready, my confirmation email said that orders usually take 2-3 business days to fulfill so i was a little confused. i called the store just to ask for an update, the employee who answered explained that they were pretty backed up since a lot of groups were having comebacks/ releases at the time but my order would be ready in a few more days. i completely understood. though i felt that all the confusion and concern could’ve been very easily avoided if they just sent customers a text, email, or simply just posted a notice on their instagram story like a lot of other kpop stores do.

it has now been almost TWO weeks since i ordered my albums and still do not have them and NO update. it is even more infuriating seeing as i went to their store a couple days ago and they have shalala right there in stock. on top of that, their employees have gone live on instagram a handful of times where they do q&as, unbox albums, and just overall goof around. i will be cancelling my order. i do not recommend that you ever order albums from here as they clearly lack customer communication and just overall priorities.

Brought my violin in to replace the A string. The owner Dustin notice my case was slightly damaged and repair the hinges for my bow and gifted me a cleaning cloth. Amazing customer service.

I visited this place after researching for the right budget for the musical instruments. I had difficulties purchasing instruments for my three daughters, and this place had answers. The instruments were in my budget, and their rent-to-own program was a music to my ears. Dustin here was very polite and kind, explaining about the instruments in detailed and professional manner. I ended up buying good quality instruments (Violin, Viola, and Cello) at a good price. I really recommend this place!

This place is my go-to place for my violin; I’ve bought everything here from my violin to rosin. The sound quality of the instruments is amazing, the owner is very friendly, and the shop feels very warm and welcoming.

I went to the OC Violin Shop because I was interested in a violin but they let me down. Can’t trust all these raving reviews about this shop, it looks as though they were bought. The shop did look nice but the person I spoke with was not. Their prices were unreasonable for the type of violins they were selling. In order words to be frank, I think they were trying to rip me off. I am old but not that old. It was a very unpleasant experience going to the OC Violin Shop.

This is the best pawn shop in orange county. Not only does the owner give you the most money for your items compaired to any other shop I’ve ever visited but you can tell he really loves his job and cares for his customers. Everytime I’ve visited Bobby (the owner) was like the nicest guy I’ve ever met and he always greets you with a smile. If every shop had customer service this great the world would be a better place. I’m looking forward to working with him again. His gold prices are phenomenal and his guitar selection is outstanding!!!

Nothing but good things to say about this establishment. Bobby went above and beyond helping me . Great selection of of decent and interesting guitars and amplifiers. They were friendly and the prices were fair. I got a good deal. I will definitely be doing buisness with them in the future.

We are so very blessed to have a great Piano teacher as Miss Kate. Our little girl enjoys every lesson. She is very sweet, patient , and kind. We cannot wait to see our little girl continue to grow and learn with Miss Kate as her teacher , one piano lesson at a time 🙂

We found Kate when I was looking for piano teachers and wanted to find someone through Biola University. I loved how patient she is with young kids (my youngest was 4 when she started) and how passionate she is about her music. She had been my girls’ piano teacher for 2 years now & I have referred many of my family and friends to her. She is very flexible and accommodating to our changing schedule and always keeps our safety in mind. We did virtual lessons during COVID but have transitioned safely back to in person.

Kate is a wonderful pianist with a lot of experience in her art. The place is very relaxed and promotes a safe learning environment. Trust her and she’ll guide you to better musicianship and artistry in no time!

Top notch service, and I’m on the other side of the country (FL). Raul was a pleasure to do business with, and despite the distance I will be a return customer. 10/10, would highly recommend.
