It was very nice this man had a really nice and understanding voice and it was very well organized
Best music store experience I’ve had in years!
As a musician, I’ve been going to this place for years and they’ve always provided the materials I’ve need with great customer service. I now use them to get musical supplies for my children and we love them!
Prices were high
Very helpful and courteous to children who show an interest in music
I am editing this review from 1 star to four due to the fact that I had to send my trumpet to the shop for the second time. Although extremely disappointed the first time, I must say I am very satisfied with the work done by Mr. Mike Rabig from the Montgomery store. Mike personally contacted me and after a short conversation, I decided to try a second time. My trumpet was returned to me exactly as I expected and was detailed in our conversation. I basically got back a “like new” instrument. Thank you Mike Rabig and the Dothan store manager Ms. Robin for taking care of my trumpet and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Super Expensive
I hate the fact that they take all your bank information Debit card checking account before they do a so called credit check. And then don’t get back in touch with you when they say and when you call them, o we sent you a letter on Saturday. But it’s ok. Paying over a thousand for a used instrument is not even worth it. So thanks for doing me the favor and not approving it.
Tried to rip me off. You can finance an instrument and if you want to return it you can but you will loose all the money you put into it he told me that the 3000 dollar saxaphone was a deal you couldn’t find anywhere. We went to Mikes and found a great shiny air tight saxaphone for 299.99 at mikes. Arts is the worst place for a beginner.
4. Martin’s Music
Address: 5000 US-280 Suite C, Alexander City, AL 35010 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
The owner is very friendly and willing to help you out. Can order things if he doesn’t have it in his store. Good place to go for musical supplys.
Andrew is the most knowledgeable person I’ve come across on instrument history and repair. He will be the only one that repairs any of my equipment from here on out.
I highly recommend this place for you instrument owners out there! If you have guitar problems or such, this is the best place to go. They are very helpful and knowledgeable.
5. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 501 Willow Ln, Greenville, AL 36037 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
The store has been renovated it’s very organized and much more merchandise. Decent prices. Store manager is awesome, very helpful. I shop there every month.
Always well stocked and kind employees and quick service.
Customer service is good
Nice bargains. Store is a little cluttered.
Shelves kind of empty but you can’t stock with one person running register and store. Cashier he was nice so it was a good experience
Very poor customer service and management.
Most of the employees are always on the telephone some of the employees are very nice but some of the employees are very rude you have to actually keep talking to him to make him speak to you. As stores go if it wasn’t so close to my house I’d shop somewhere else
8. Mikes Music
Address: 2922 Ross Clark Cir, Dothan, AL 36301 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
I’ve been at this shop more than once now. The gentleman in there are great. Really friendly and helpful. Really take the time out to answer questions and take care of whatever you need. Decent prices. Relaxed environment. Will be our family’s go- to shop for music stuff.
Mr Mike was such a pleasure to work with. I came in looking for a pick Gaurd for my acoustic and left with that, three stands, and a slider! His store has such a wide variety of amazing products.
Great selection of instruments, knowledgeable, and great service when needed.
Bought my daughter a saxaphone here. Great prices and much better quality than the cheap instruments on Amazon.
Great customer service and selection. We highly recommend Mike’s music. We have purchased several items and will be returning.
Will never shop there again. He doesn’t stand behind his product. Brought a brand new keyboard from him and didn’t even have it for 2 months. All of the A#’s/Bb’s went out and he wouldn’t even take a look at it or even offer anything to help fix his shady product. Thought I found a place to get good quality instruments at a reasonable price but definitely was wrong. Now I have to spend more money on a new keyboard. I will never shop at Mike’s Music ever again.
Came back for a second time hoping that it was better than a previous visit which occurred maybe a year ago. Nothing changed! Had a sarcastic attitude and told jokes. This guy has poor customer service. I wouldn’t dare step foot in there again after today.

Address: 101 Greenville Bypass, Greenville, AL 36037 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
They were very helpful and friendly i got what i needed dor my sons guitar.
They waited for us on a Friday evening and help my daughter pick the best trombone for her.
Very friendly and kind staff. Good selection of instruments.
They have a good selection of musical instruments
Good
If you are looking for music instruments, and accessories, i promise you, you will pay FULL retail price. No discounts there. It dosen’t matter that accessories have a 70% mark up. The best thing to do is buy it online.
The staff was completely rude
This place used to be very friendly and musicians dream to come in. Now it’s full of a bunch of butt heads. I Won’t Go Back
13. Bay Music LLC
Address: 409 N Section St suite c, Fairhope, AL 36532 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
Amazing friendly staff with fun chaotic energy. Would recommend any musicians here.
Great people. I love this place. Unpretentious musically,
each time I go there I’m reluctant to leave! Who could ask for more.
Stopped here on the advice of other RVs at the park where we had stayed the previous night. Wanted a strap button on the end of my dulcimer. the shop owner took some time to examine my instrument and told me she didn’t think it was a good idea. Really appreciated her time and her honesty and we had a nice visit. She even called the local senior center to see if today was the day they had their dulcimer players meet but it was not.
Very kind, stocked, but you will pay double what you will online.
14. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
Address: 181 Interstate Dr, Greenville, AL 36037 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
This is the best place to be, honest however I am gonna be a little bit more interested in food ☕ ☃️☃️
Always good food and service
Standard experience with cracker barrels food. It wasn’t anything special but the hospitality made me feel at home.
Great customer service. Very clean and fast service
It was okay. The steak wasn’t that great, but the pancakes were delicious!
I found it odd that we couldn’t switch out bacon for scrambled eggs. Alright. And while my broccoli chicken was delicious, I only ate the broccoli because part of my chicken was still translucent pink.
Regrettably Cracker Barrel has slipped from being a favorite to a disappointment.
Terrible food not good service
The food was awful
15. Guitars and More LLC. Cullman
Address: 103 2nd Ave SW, Cullman, AL 35055 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
Amazing store. Very friendly customer service and inviting atmosphere. Clean store. I take my guitars to getvsergeted and they do an amazing job!
Great friendly service plenty of inventory excellent selection
They were very helpful with what I was looking for and didn’t pressure me into anything.
Small store, parking lot is meager, have to back out into traffic. Reasonable prices, not a lot of merchandise in stock. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Good merchandise friendly people good Price’s.
Wouldn’t go here for the lessons, good service though.
Not a good experience at all, they have rescheduled my grandson twice, mind you we did not miss any sessions, they rescheduled us and then just took us off the schedule period. Carried my Grandson anyway thinking he was on schedule and Sage came in 10 minutes late and finished 5 minutes early…making it a 15 minute session instead of a 30 minute session as paid for. Spoke really negative to my Grandson and then refused any refund for missed sessions that THEY canceled. My Grandson loves everyone but does not want to go back, I’m saddened that because someone is a child that they are treated with less respect.
16. Redbox
Address: 879 Fort Dale Rd, Greenville, AL 36037 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
David was very kind and extremely informative. He made my guitar shiny and hydrated and made her sound like a happy gal.
Kind and knowledgeable staff
Eeeeh
Good site
Great little music shop. A good place to look for a starter instrument or replace an existing one.
I felt watched and rushed. Two women were working there that day, one was very friendly. I did not feel comfortable asking questions and also it was so hot in there.
The people are not friendly, the merchandise is overpriced, some equipment is not even new (and it is damaged) although they don’t disclose that information, and getting around in a wheelchair is next to impossible. The lady at the register didn’t know anything about the equipment. It is definitely worth the drive to go somewhere else.
this place is burnt!
18. Harmonic Strings
Address: 522 Co Rd 550, Fackler, AL 35746 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
Good music store. Decent on the shelf selections at reasonably fair prices. Pretty sure they will take care of you if you know what you want. Great place for a good start and for fine quantity. I will be back. Thanks man! Wouldn’t hurt to regulate the humidity in your store for your wooden instruments. They might resonate more. Just because I like yuh
Quaint and friendly, pressure-free local guitar store with plenty of stuff a musician would want.
Great sales,super repair work!
Nice small business. Very helpful.
Great local guitar store. Eric does a great job running this store.
I went in yesterday and asked about a Gretch open back banjo on the back wall that didn’t have a price tag. The reply I got from the bearded gent behind the counter was ” I don’t know, probably $300 or something”, and then he walked away like I didn’t exist. The vibe I got from him was “I dont want to help you. I won’t help you”. I buy a LOT of instruments and spend thousands of dollars per year on all sorts of music equipment, but this store has shown me that they don’t want my business and they aren’t interested in having any sort of customer care. I didn’t want to go to Guitar Center anymore, I would like to buy from a local store, but Guitars and More has discouraged me from doing any business with them. My advice to other customers is to go elsewhere. They don’t want your business and they don’t deserve your business.
The people are nice but the stuff you buy here is garbage.
20. Eat My Beats
Address: 4755 Jug Factory Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 , Butler County , Alabama , United States
Overpriced and a little short with customers. Good selection of stuff though.
If you are looking the sound equipment go to eat my Beats they will find you what you’re looking for ask the Scott. And if you have any old sound equipment that is in good shape they will buy it from you good place to shop good people to bargain with I say again ask Scott.
Good to work with, prices were reasonable as well.
Google maps took me to a place that wasn’t there. It took me to a mechanics place. Do not come here. Call them before you go. Which is what I should have done. That I had to go to Walmart and pay more money
Terrible “service”!
Booked two parties at once and tried to make us wait 2 hours to start ours when we were the ones on the books. Compromised with an agreement then they did not hold up on their agreement. Man was VERY rude!
