Home owned business great down to earth customer service now located in Byron in the old captain Jack’s crab shack still loaning money
Very professional and fair
Great store and the costumer service is also great you don’t see that in many places!
Not to bad. Was greeted by a kid who acted like his dad was the town mayor. You know the kind we all hate as a society… yeah that guy. They do have a wide selection of the same damned thing. Really they have a lot of the same item. And what the donhave is over priced almost to extremes. Really look it up on amazon while your standing in the store. Secondly I would like to say a cockroache isnt a pawn shops friend. But It could have been the heat driving them in. But they do have a nice building. And the parking lot is a walk to remeber. At no point was I greeted. And the customer service was completely terrible. I called back to get some info on a rifle. And they quickly answered the phone. Only to be put on hold for what felt like an eternity. Guys I’m not so sure about this one. There are better one in the area.
Maybe if they treat customers the way they should be I’ll come back but honestly I’ll never step foot in there again unless it’s to accept an apology.
Called them about a record player. I was told that the record player works before I made the trip down to Byron when I got there the record player did not work I was lied to and I made a trip for nothing. Poor service and won’t be going back
Horrible customer service.

I love used book stores. Here, buy 20 books, get the 10 cheapest one free.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful when they did not have the types off books I was looking for she offered to call all the other branches to help me find what I was looking for.
I love to hold and touch and smell of books. The folks who work there are awesome
We love this bookstore. They give fair prices for trade in and sell for reasonable prices
Clean, helpful. Good selection.
Terrible service
I ask the worker where the kids Bible’s were he said in the back on the left so I went there and he did see me and said over here in the middle . But I didn’t find what I needed but he didn’t offer me any more help.
4. Cuttin’ Up Vinyl
Address: 212 GA-49 #1100, Byron, GA 31008 , Byron , Georgia , United States
I have been in the shop twice now. Both times I have been here, the owners were super friendly and helpful. Also, they seem to always be stocked up on everything. The store was very organized and easy to figure out what you are buying and looking at. Cute little signs telling you which one was HTV and which ones were Vinyl. I cannot say enough good things about them. Definitely will be my main source of vinyl!
The owner was very nice and they have a wide variety of vinyl. Will be back.
Super awesome products. Nice store. I’ll be back for extra products
It’s okay
Benni & her Assistant are very friendly and helpful..
I can always find my permanent & HTC colors..Thanks a lot.
I was looking for a very particular shade of pale neon greenish- and they had it. You can’t see the storefront from the road so just keep driving toward the back and you will find them.
I paid more than I would have online but you can’t match a color from your computer screen!
Unfortunately this is not a good review. I came in on Thursday or Friday and ordered a shirt to pick up on Tuesday. I went to the store on Tuesday at 12:30 pm and the store was closed. I called the number listed because the sign said open from 10am to 6pm. A lady answered and said she was in traffic. I said since 10am? She said I could wait 45 minutes or come back tomorrow. I said I can’t wait and informed her this was bad business. She then said don’t worry about it and she was not going to make the shirt I was already there to pick up. I came on the day she told me too and she hadn’t even made the shirt yet. Hopefully everyone else will have better luck. Personally I do not recommend and will find somewhere else to go.
Disappointed. Shelves empty, hard to move around to find anything. Not the way I remembered it from several months ago when I lived in the area. Not enough employees. Long wait to be checked out. Girl was doing best she could without help.
8. Talk To Me Nice Studios
Address: 3421 US Hwy 41 Suite 2600b, Byron, GA 31008 , Byron , Georgia , United States
Byron McDonald’s has been on point the last few months I have been there.
Great McDonalds! Their drivethru was quick and easy
Friendly service, although a little slow, & fresh, hot food
Friendly staff but kids wished they had more than just vanilla ice cream, they should serve different flavors doesn’t have to be a lot but at least chocolate and strawberr.
My food was fresh and hot! Just too many damn flies… easy 5 stars if you can deal with the flies…
Ok
The drive thru was horrible
Behind the counter was not cleaned. The staff was nice. The food was fresh and hot.

Real down to earth people! Great atmosphere
We had such a great experience here. The items were up to date and it smelled so fresh! We recommended this place to others! Thanks again
My husband and I went in today and got some great deals! Owner is super nice and his puppy Oreo is sooo adorable!! Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience.
Been there on three occasions during early store hours and despite google and the store sign saying that they are open every time I’ve been there they have been closed.
Store signs and posted hours are not correct. 🙁
11. Big Peach Antiques Mall
Address: 119 Peachtree Pkwy, Byron, GA 31008 , Byron , Georgia , United States
Peter and Robin were Amazing! Great deals… Could LOOK for Hours!
One of my favorites!
Huge selection of antiques. Will definitely be coming back!
Very nice antique mall with a huge selection of collectibles. Very clean and organized. Just a little pricey though.
good variety and pricing, no masks in sight though.
Es un lugar muy grande, hay que ir con tiempo, pues, son muchos los objetos interesantes para ver y comprar.
The place is great.
The stuff was cool.
The lady that checked us out was rediculous.
I am a dealer. One my last trip there I bought over 25 items from the same vendor. I was fully intending to do so again. The woman checking us out refused to call the vendor to pass along my offer. I am sorry for the vendor because this woman cost you money.
If you like junk this is the place for you.
This used to be a good place to go, but not any longer. The booths may still have good items at reasonable prices, but the management and their policy & attitude changes are not worth the drive now. When COVID hit, the workers took the hard end of the stick and didn’t get paid, then when things started to return the vendors were told they would not only be having their booth charge but they are also now losing 10% of their sales. This along with the treatment of employees and the complete lack of compassion is the reason we will no longer make the trip to show here.
12. Mrs. Ethel’s Thrift store
Address: 202D Highway 49 North Byron Plaza, Byron, GA 31008 , Byron , Georgia , United States
manager won’t open registers when there are long lines
Does not have many things on dollar aisle like other stores
Not much selection compared to others
Went in on my way home from work. They have always been nice I love shopping here. But today as I was finishing my shopping, I had to use the restroom. I went to the counter to ask for a key and was told NO. I could not believe my ears. I thought she was joking but to my surprise she was not joking. I had to leave my stuff and fly home to use the restroom. If you are open to the public…you should be made to have restrooms for customers. If you do not want to…CLOSE YOUR FEAKING BUSINESS!!! If and when I go back…and I have to use the restroom and I’m told no…I may just have an accident on the floor and they can clean up the urine off their floor. There are to many people that have bladder issues to tell someone no. If your scared of toilet paper theives or soap thieves…thats the cost of doing business. Go check out the bathrooms when they leave. If it’s to sanitize the bathroom, what do they do at Wal-Mart…you can use their bathrooms. If its the managers decision…fire them or put them on leave til this crapis over. Rant over
Wish I could give a positive review. Management and service is extremely inconsiderate and really slow with assistance and even at the checkout.
The Store Owner will not speak if you’re of color. But the cashiers are very friendly
14. Music Masters
Address: 1806 Russell Pkwy Ste 700, Warner Robins, GA 31088 , Byron , Georgia , United States
Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable . I will definitely be back
Very professional and friendly staff. They have a wide variety of instruments
Lady that cashed me out was hot! Nice Breedlove collection and has layaway. I’ll be back
Great deals, great service. It’s always nice to have a local, hometown music store for that personal touch. Lessons are also available. Wish there was a bigger selection there, though–go buy some stuff there so they can afford more space! 🙂
Nice music shop. We are pleased with a kid friendly guitar lessons taught by Mr. Mike.
Update:Feb 2022. Still attending lessons and my child has taken a liking to guitar. His finger placement has gotten better and knowing the proper strings for several chords.
Went in to get some supplies for taking care of a trumpet. They didnt have a huge variety but they did gave neat grab and go packs. They did, however, have a huge selection of guitars, ukuleles and other strings as well as a few brass and woodwinds.
Horrible customer service. My dad and I went into the store. The gentleman who answered our question was more eager to talk with the other non paying people in the store. Maybe a bad day? I know I won’t go back.
I had a violin restrung there a few months back. Violins are better maintained by a shop that specializes in violins but I went ahead and took the chance when the folks at Music Masters assured me they could get the job done.
Although the job was done faster than I expected, the quality was very sloppy. First, the strings were not even in tune and the bridge was filed down unevenly. There were also some kind of oil or lotion spots/fingerprints all over the body which indicated poor attention to detail.
After I took it back, they insisted on redoing the work with a new bridge that i had to provide. Second time around, it didn’t look very different from the first job. In the end, I was down $40-something bucks and didn’t even consider taking it back a third time.
Music Masters might be good with other things, but I wouldn’t reccomend sending your violin there for work.
Too expensive
15. Gottwals Books
Address: 660 Peavy Rd, Byron, GA 31008 , Byron , Georgia , United States
Absolutely loved it, will be back, and really liked the no mask rule, I can’t wear them due to asthma
Staff was very helpful and caring. This seems like a great community-style store whose employees want to know their customers. They had a good selection of instruments from keyboards and guitars to band and orchestra instruments. I’ll be coming back here
A business on the way out. For the truth, read what Traci, Joseph, Steve, Randall, Libby, and Alfuquan had to say. For a better choice, and a store with a future, visit Georgia Music on Zebulon.
This place was better in the past than it is currently. The employees were all sitting around in a circle talking and were clearly staring at me whilst I looked around at their selection of products. I was asked several times if I needed help finding anything to the point of annoyance. I told them numerous times that I was not shopping for anything specific and that I was there to look at their selection since I haven’t been there in years. Upon first glance, they moved their small selection of electric guitars into what was the acoustic guitar room (which is very small). They also moved all the acoustic guitars into the main area. Why? I understand that they may sell better there, but that room was literally engineered for acoustics. In addition, they put up signs asking for assistance for playing each guitar in the shop as well. I don’t think they can make it any harder to actually buy something here. Here are my recommendations for improvement. Employees should maintain a professional manner and not have mannerisms that resemble a lunch “get together” where you are sitting in a circle chatting with one another. Secondly, the acoustic guitars need to be in the acoustic room and the electric guitars need to be back in the main part of the store. The sole reason that room was constructed was for sound acoustics. Finally, listen to the customers. It’s evident when employees don’t listen to customers. In my case, I said that I did not need assistance, yet I was sequentially asked four or five times if I needed any.
Poor customer service and very rude! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for any future business transactions.

Great place to refill and fuel up. Restrooms were great. Staff was awesome and manager was welcoming. Snacks soda and lottery. Fast in and out.
Clean and convenient
Not so clean!
Usually busy plenty to buy if your are a shopper.
Pésimo lugar con respecto a la atención al cliente sobre todo el hombre del Arby’s un terrible mal educado y resista
Just had a terrible experience supposed to be buy one get one for a dollar and a monster to drink people and honor it and it tried to be $2 for a refill with a Phil mug.
Real shady people working the register
The showers there are horrible We’ve been there a couple times and every time we’ve taken a shower there it’s been a freezing cold Because apparently the arby’s dishwasher and the shower share at the same water so the customers get cold showers
