Great place. My go to music shop for instruments, accessories, set ups and repairs. Everyone is friendly and helpful with whatever you’re looking for no matter how big or how small. Thanks guys!
My first time visiting here and was blown away at the quality of guitars they had. I brought my Yamaha acoustic I purchased from somewhere else here to get a set up done and they have great pricing and turn around time compared to other places I called. Also explained in great detail what needed to be done and what needed to be adjusted and why.
I wish I went here to make my guitar purchase, the quality of each guitar they have on display is beyond anything I’ve seen at other guitar shops. They set up each guitar before selling it and that right there just made me a lifetime customer. They really care about the quality of the instrument you’re investing in and that means a lot to me.
Aaron was very knowledgeable and explained to me a lot about the electric guitars that I had no idea about and let me play my first ever electric and I fell in love with it. I left out of there with a huge smile on my face after playing their guitars and speaking with them. I am going to be beating myself up for a long time for not coming here for my first guitar purchase.
I was having technical issues with my pedal board, and Aaron helped me out so much I got my first official power supply Iso brick from Mxr, this guy knows gear and Amps!!! Anyone in the area has to check this place out! Awsome Gear and Guys there!
Much better store I not been here in a while the past manager was not a music guy or a manger known as a air head I will be back
Taught my kids to play guitar
Good
Wow. Just called Town Center Music. Someone answered. I started asking about a guitar I’m looking for and got cut off mid-sentence by the guy talking loudly to a co-worker. When he stopped talking I said hello? Hello? Nothing. A few seconds later he hangs up.
Store is dirty poor selection not real big
AVOID AVIOD
High prices not helpful run by a guy who looks 40 and still in a garage band no music
background not open late any place better then here. Manger is clueless.
3. Jackson’s Music Store Inc
Address: 5485 Westmoreland Plaza, Douglasville, GA 30134 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
The salesman i had there knew HIS STUFF…. KNOWLEDGE!
Good customer service. Very knowledge.
Good people
Great help.
I was greeted when i came in.. great!! It was my 2nd time there, I usually go Guitar Center in Marietta, to a much bigger store. But after i was helped I felt as if i was being followed around the store. Evertime Id go around the corner, the guy from the front desk would pop up behind me 39 seconds later. That WASN’T good customer service… NOT the way you wanna feel as a customer, as if you’re a threat to take something. Smdh
Terrible service
Avoid like the plague. Absolutely rubbish. I will never set foot in this garbage store again. Rented an audio system that was buzzing. And changed me extra for an extension cable that there was no proof that it existed.
4. Kilgard Instrument Repair
Address: 1422 E Park Ave, Valdosta, GA 31602 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
Mr Kilgard is the best man you can meet. He doesn’t try to push sells like some places, he doesn’t care about the money, he genuinely wants to help people out. I recently went to get a new mouthpiece and I ended up acknowledging part of my sax wasn’t working as well as it could be. If he didn’t remind himself he would’ve fixed my whole horn without charging anything. He did some tweaking to it and didn’t charge. Speaking of not charging, when I bought the mouthpiece, he gave me the leather ligature (which they price around 10-50 ) and a mouthpiece cap for free. He’s a professional and kind man. To anybody that needs there instrument worked on and/or needs to buy anything, he is the person to go to.
Best repair shop in the south! Five stars to Kilgard Instrument Repair!!!!!
Nice people very friendly and respectful place. Reasonable price.
Store is really cluttered and kept really hot. There really aren’t any prices on anything.
Excellent service and timely, great rate
Very unprofessional
5. Paulding Music Center
Address: 10175 Dallas Acworth Hwy # 121, Dallas, GA 30132 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
My 16 year old son just picked up guitar and has come here for lessons. These guys and gals are great. Very helpful and friendly. They also sell and fix all types of instruments.
Bought an Accent trumpet for $125. When there was an issue, Paulding fixed it without charging me. Dealing with this music shop has been refreshing. They are polite, knowledgeable, and willing to educate the customer so they can make the best decision possible.
When I first bought a trumpet for my kids, Art’s music store was selling me a $3,000 “rent to own” trumpet. Then I found Paulding, who sold me the Accent for less then half of the lowest price I found on line. Paulding is saving me an enormous amount of money, which is allowing to afford to put the priceless gift of music in the palm of children’s hands.
I give Paulding my business. I recommend that you give them yours.
Reasonable prices and open 7 days a week.
Love this place and love the staff. Prefer to go here for instrument needs and repairs over Ken Stanton. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I really wish they would keep at least a small supply of basic AV accessories such as XLR/DMX cables and Gaffer tape. Lots of my local AV comrades and I would be in there often for that stuff! But that’s the only thing I can whine about. Lol.
For the person who was complaining about being charged for not showing up to a lesson …. seriously? This is no different than not showing up for a doctor’s appointment or not giving at least 24 hours notice. This is how these instructors make a living and that spot is reserved specifically for you or your child. Even if you have a good reason for not showing up, like a family emergency, you should still rightfully be expected to pay for that reservation, as it means a loss of income for a teacher. Would you be OK with your employer unexpectedly shorting you money that you were expecting to pay bills with, regardless of their reason?
Great customer service and good and understanding staff
Nice for quick nearby stuff. A little small shop so it’s not competitive and doesn’t have big selections. Sells some used items, does repairs (usually sent out), and has lessons
Do not shop here, don’t bother asking for shipping either they won’t do it. They make Facebook listings than ignore customers after denying purchase.
I hate that I had to give at least one star, there should be a no star button. I had mostly positive experiences here until this point. I bought a Planet Waves instrument cable from this establishment and it was defective. Granted it has been about 4 months, I asked to make an even exchange and they said, “No. You have to get with Planet Waves.” In order to get any help from Planet Waves I have a receipt. They have a record that I bought it, but won’t give me one. I can’t do business with a company that doesn’t back up its inventory.
I placed an order last week and I called today to find out what the status was and the gentleman told me there had to be a certain dollar amount for all the orders to be placed. Had I know this when i first placed the order I would have found another store.
6. Ben Owens Music
Address: 1803 Plum St, Valdosta, GA 31601 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
I sell cheap guitars at the flea if you want the good stuff you should go to the pink house and see Ben Owens he has the best equipment he does the best setup and repairs overall The Pink House is the best place ln the area for music
Purchased a used guitar from Ben Owen’s Music. Guitar is exactly as described. Ultra fast shipping. Will buy from them again.
Nice atmosphere and very friendly
Would be nice if everyone wasn’t rude and condescending.
Small store but good selection of guitars, amps and accessories. They really should put prices on all their items. There were several things I was interested in but they weren’t priced and the staff got busy on the phone. Overall seemed like a good place.
Not easy to find but I was in and out in 5 minutes. They had what I wanted and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend it.
They where nice
I used to take all my guitars to Ben when I lived here in the mid/late 90’s and it was always great! Not sure what happened, but I will NEVER let them touch my guitar again.
Took my guitar to get a few adjustments. Nothing major. Needed intonation, a small nut spur on the high e, and new strings(which I supplied.) Got the call 2 days later that it was ready. I grabbed it, paid my $70 and took off. I trusted them, so I gave it a quick glance and that was it.
Got it home and pulled it out. Hmm. My Floyd Rose Bridge was uneven, guitar was out of tune, and these were NOT the strings I gave. Tuned it up and the intonation was WORSE, still a spur on the high e, and when I tried my trem it wouldn’t budge. Wth.
Opened the back and they had BLOCKED my trem, not even a good blocking as the bridge was uneven. Didn’t touch the nut, didn’t even attempt intonation, and to add insult to injury they stole my NYXL strings. Including the extra set in the case.
Shameful how far they have fallen.
Total douchebags.
7. Pete’s Music City
Address: 115 S Wall St, Calhoun, GA 30701 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
I, I bought a guitar and the salesman was very friendly and I would recommend Pete to anyone
Wonderful music store great friendly people
Locally owned and loved. These guys are happy to help with your music needs, they’re knowledge and courteous
Friendly staff, clean environment and plenty of stools to sit in if you decided to pick up a guitar and play. But unfortunately the the selection was not there for me. Not trying to be negative but it really seemed as a store where somebody had went around for a while picking out the best guitars they could find at surrounding pawn shops cleaned them up and opened a store. Not saying you can’t find a good guitar at a pawn shop and not saying that they didn’t have guitars there just very dry selection.
8. Ken Stanton Music
Address: 3636 Dallas Hwy SW, Marietta, GA 30064 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
Very nice there! Eager to help and educate! Highly recommend!
Very good staff
I had to restring my guitar and the people were nice and got it for free great place!!!
Smaller than the one on Cobb parkway. Friendly staff. No complaints. Just a pretty limited selection.
I find it hard to believe a store would go out of their way to lose a potential sale. I live in Carrollton Georgia so I don’t get out there much and I asked to exchange an un-used microphone I purchased from them (over 90 days ago) for another item. They told me no. That’s basically it. Who says that to a potential customer? I know your starving for business but ok I’ll purchase elsewhere from now on. I like companies that are interested in my business. I recommend Willcutt guitars
Wasn’t able to be in this store for 5 minutes trying to find my 4 year old an instrument to learn without two of the employees hounding him to not touch anything. As a professional musician trust me I have my son trained to be careful around expensive instruments. I also picked up a guitar to play and think about purchasing it but the guy told me they are supposed to bring it down and hand it to me, I said I know how to handle a guitar and he says “not a $1,300 guitar” I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Staff is helpful to get the sale but be careful… Merchandise is expensive and there’s no returns because of Covid. They don’t tell you about that detail before you spend your money!
9. Dannys Music
Address: 1601 Baytree Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
Why on earth does this place have bad reviews?? I just went in super nervous to get the first guitar I’ve owned since I was a child and I was met with the nicest, most caring and friendly two people I’ve ever met! I didn’t feel like a stranger at all. It’s nice and clean in there and they’re very honest. The guitars are priced really fairly. And he can answer a lot of questions a beginner would have! I’m definitely going back.
This guy set me up with some pretty good strings on my acoustic.glad I took his advice cause it has a real nice carry ring to it now.
Danny’s music is a great music store. My family and I have bought all of our instruments from Danny and also take lessons there. The instructor is great and has a lot of patience for younger kids learning guitar like my son. The prices are fair and it is a real friendly place.
The four stars is for the very friendly young staff*
Great selection, but don’t expect to touch anything unless you commit to buying something beforehand. How in the world can you do business like that? Walked in looking for a nice, higher end, acoustic, which they have, and was met with an ultimatum of buying the instrument before I even touched it. Puhhlease.
Great ! Large selection of instruments and friendly service !
The owner was really pushy trying to make a sale. I told him exactly what I wanted, he wouldn’t listen. He kept pushing me to buy something that cost twice as much.
Finally I left. I will make my purchase elsewhere.
Not a great shop, Danny is super condescending and was constantly breathing down our necks. I can understand not being able to grab guitars off the shelf but you’re really not gonna let me use a pick.. at a guitar shop? Decent prices, sub-par service
Stay away, poor customer service
10. Music & Arts
Address: 119 Cobb Pkwy N, Marietta, GA 30062 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
KEN, STANTON MUSIC has whatever your looking for if your just starting out or advanced they have it
Excellent staff, selection and service. Store layout is ideal, too!
Lots if selection. Pretty much anything music is available here. Great place to visit.
Much bigger than it’s cousin on Dallas Hwy. Has okay prices. The staff are fairly helpful. Nothing spectacular.
Ordered a guitar in 7/22. Got it on 8/5. Great guitar, customer service not so good.
Recently started teaching myself guitar, after over 30 years owning one and never learning. My guitar needed new strings and they explained how to install them. Didn’t try to sell me anything else, although I’m sure they would’ve been more than happy to. Recently went into a Guitar Center and got horrible service; false advertising issue. I will return to Ken Stanton Music whenever necessary.
1 star if ur a brass player. Used to have an entire section dedicated to brass repairs, good selection of brass related items, cases, some instruments, etc. Haven’t been there in a long time since my most recent visit. I guess their focus on revenue generation has shifted – fair enough.
Bought from them before. Went in with my daughter and God forbid a fledgling musician touch something. It’s not like she was beating on instruments. She was hardly touching them. If I can’t have polite customer service I might as well shop online.
Good prices….. but no experts:/
The staff just tries to make a quick sale!
11. JAWS GUITARS
Address: 111 Mountain Vista Blvd #135, Canton, GA 30115 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
Jim the owner is a nice guy, he has great guitar knowledge.
Jim is a pro at setting up guitars. Had a few guitars I took to him because I hated the way they were set up sloppily from the factory. Told him how I liked it to be set up and he nailed it every time.
Pro owner, Pro equipment. Great prices and the only pro store in town
Cool store no other music stores in Canton owner is cool
As a store, very, very little selection of amplifiers or guitars. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and not at all uptight about customers touching and trying out the gear they do have on hand. May be better as a place for repairs and maintenance, but cannot attest to that.
Great sound equipment at reasonable prices compared to the big box music stores. The gentleman, who I assumed was the owner, was very knowledgeable about everything musical.
I needed a setup for my Gibson Les Paul and decided to give Jaws a shot because of their overwhelmingly positive reviews. I dropped of my guitar and told the luthier that I was experiencing a lot of fret buzz. The turn around time was very quick and I was able to pick it up the next day. I was told that there would still be some buzz based on my attack, which seemed like a cop out. I asked if there were any high frets and I was assured that there were none. I took the guitar home and played it to find that I was still experiencing buzzing even when strummed lightly. I pulled out the fret rocker to find that several of my frets were high despite what the shop told me. Overall, this was a waste of time and money and I’m very disappointed with the level of service.
12. Guitar Center
Address: 1570 Crater Lake Dr Bldg. 200, Kennesaw, GA 30152 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
They got the main things I needed for my first studio set up! Awesome service and their restrooms were opened to the public and was clean.
Not helpful
Great. The desperately need a better selection of bass and guitar strings. (both electric and acoustic) Other than that, great customer service, great store. –
Only go here for strings and such. Poor guitar selection
Kind of a scaled down store. Very little, if any pro level gear. Kind of the soccer mom version of Guitar Center.
Hate guitar centers. Sam Ash is way better. These guys do not take care of their gear. Every Floyd Rose I’ve played is out of tune so bad it needs tools to fix. Really? Also they don’t really seem eager to help you. Go to Sam Ash you’ll be much happier.
We brought in a guitar to trade in for a drum set, got quoted $280 trade in value, fine (guitar is worth $600 new but we really want drums as we already have another guitar). We found a new Rogue full 5 piece drum set (for adults, not the junior kickers one) online for $279 and they had it in store, and we decided to trade for it….however it rang up $70 more expensive and the clerk said they will price match. He called the manager out, and the manager proceeded to claim it wasn’t the same set even though all 3 of us said it was, and when I questioned it he called it a “child’s drum set anyways” mocking us/insulting their cheaper brand drum sets I imagine….and I asked him to further explain why he said that so I would know for future reference but he couldn’t answer, just the snarky remark and then ignored. Whoever was managing 1/25/22 around 7:00, learn not to call cheaper drum sets “child” drums and don’t be rude to your customers. Thanks to the cashier for being super nice, though!
I spent about 45 minutes at this location this morning, and was never acknowledged or greeted by staff. Not once.
The store wasn’t busy at all. I saw three or four other customers the whole time I was there. I literally never saw an employee.
Another customer came over and asked me for help with keyboards. He knew I wasn’t an employee, said I just seemed knowledgeable. Sales staff didn’t notice or care that I was doing their job for them.
Credit where due: they actually had a decent selection, which was great for being able to check out the touch and feel, and compare different options.
But I can’t get over how disinterested the sales staff were. I went prepared to drop hundreds of dollars on a midi controller. They clearly didn’t care about actually getting money from me today. So I’ll be buying from a locally owned store that will appreciate the revenue.
13. String Theory Music
Address: 204 W 4th St, Adel, GA 31620 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
We have been very pleased with all our transactions with All Seasons. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We definitely recommend!!!
Very nice people, very helpful and good prices.
It’s ok for this size town but if you’re looking for music you have to order it. Very nice personnel.
Great people really good service would have given 5 stars but prices are not competitive
At least 15% higher than Guitar center
Man they’ve got some nice stuff in there!
15. Music & Arts
Address: 3805 Dallas Hwy Suite 108, Marietta, GA 30064 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
Great place! A chain with the feel of a small-town music store. Great selection in-store and helpful staff who can look up and order an item for you if they don’t happen to have it at the time.
Daughter got mouth piece stuck in trumphet. After going to the chain store I purchased the trumphet from, we were told they could not help us, but recommended this store. After arriving, with trumphet hanging out of the case in hand, we meet Doug in the parking lot. He stated, “let me guess, your mouth piece is stuck”. We went in and he removed it in less than a minute . Thank you for your help!!!
They were all very helpful, and it was a fun experience.
Helpful, friendly employees. I wish the store was a little larger to have more inventory, but I’m sure they’ll stock up when back-to- school season comes around.
Been renting my daughter flute from here and had to get it service. Received excellent service from Cailey from beginning to end. We were able to leave with a loaner and return with a week for our instrument. Very pleased with service, knowledgeable staff, and cost.
This rating is in no way regarding the store itself, but pertains more to the on-line side of the business overall. I placed an order for a cleaning kit through Music and Arts on-line store for my son days ago and have yet to receive the product. When I called customer service for an update this week I was told the kit was on back order and no update was available as to when it would be completed. I called again the next day for an update and again. I was told they didn’t know when the order would be completed and that they sent an email to the Associate handling the issue which should take a day or two for a response. It’s now day 3 and I have yet to hear from anyone. What concerns me the most is that I never received communication the order was on back order day one and that it’s now day 3 and I have yet to receive a call from a Supervisor or the business with an update. I placed the order online initially thinking it would arrive to my son whose away in college sooner than it would take me to purchase it in store and pay for shipping. Now, I’m having to drive to their store which is more than an hour away, purchase the kit and pay for shipping. It’s going to cost me more in gas, time, purchasing the product and pay to ship it myself. I would advise ANYONE to buy from this business online. The customer service is very poor!
SCAMMERS. We rented an instrument for school. When Covid hit and schools went online they would not give us a chance with the instrument payments. They kept unfairly charging us while everything was on hold. Many calls to the store did not help. These people are scammers. Do not buy or rent from them They dont care about the customer.
How do you run a business by closing for lunch with no return time listed on your away sign?! Took my business to Ken Stanton instead. Poor business practice made you miss out on a $300 sale.
16. Pro Music Outlet Inc
Address: 4135 Lavista Rd Suite 210, Tucker, GA 30084 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
The two closest music shops to me were Atlanta Musicians Exchange and Pro Music Outlet (I was searching for the padded box thing that you surround your mic with), so I looked at both of their NEGATIVE reviews before choosing which one I would patronize. Pro Music Outlet responded to dissatisfied customers with a prompt, professional reply that I had to respect. AME cursed at and insulted dissatisfied customers and, no matter what business you’re in, that’s no way to treat a client. Period. I went to Pro Music Outlet and was greeted warmly. I said I was looking for “the padded box thing that you surround your mic with” and was told that they had it in stock and ready to go (it was literally sitting on the counter near the register!). They also helped me out by letting me know that the particular piece of equipment I was looking for was called a “reflection filter.” So, not only did I get exactly what I needed, quickly, and at a price comparable to what I would’ve paid on Amazon, but I got a little recording vocab lesson at the same time. I appreciate Tony and the rest of the folks at Pro Music Outlet for being the experts people need to get their recording projects done right. Thanks!
Impeccable Experience!!! I went in with a partial idea and got exactly what I needed at a great rate! The customer service was outstanding. Beginning with a warm welcome to the store and immediate assistance. Tony, Rad, & Alex are amazing. Very professional, patient, experienced, and knowledgeable which is why I’m glad I went to the Pros at Pro Music Outlet. They really strive to provide a superior service and my expectations were well exceeded. Def make sure if you have a music need to check them out.
You looking for a computer for all your media needs check out, Pro Music Outlet. Tony was more than accommodating in helping to fulfill our studio needs
Cool people
Amazing service and prices. Gotta love them
Well to be honestly when it comes to finding the right equipment tools that you need to establish a successful business. Especially when it comes to music everything has to be super fine to use things are quite the buzz to get typically only for practice material only. Truthfully you should always get anything that’s Musical and days so in tune with your heart has to be brand new. So I went to this particular place to buy Saturday items that I might need to spruce up my canvases so I can make that Perfect Pitch sound wasn’t too disappointed and wasn’t too excited either but you never know what you get until you open the book. This place has a lot of items that I haven’t seen on the market such as basis old Phantom keyboard classic stuff that started off hot and probably early 90s onto to the mid-2000s I say 2008. So if you see vintage music places like that they have Studio tired and still a Quick Med in a might have that particular our scent and will you get ashlie record music these places are typically the hotbed for local rappers local musicians things of that nature is like a vintage bookstore. You might not find what you’re looking for but you might find the past from which you once was looking for. So you can stop by this place give it a try and there’s also store next door so we can get hungry or thirsty or you want to gamble just a tad you can go up there and check out this place you might find what you looking for.
Great place if you want to buy equipment. Not so much if you want to sell your items . I’ve called the owner about some things I wanted to sell to this location, each time the owner lied and said he wasn’t there or he would call back tomorrow. Very unprofessional if you ask me , if you don’t want to do something just say it .. don’t lie to a customer.
Never open, when I visit
UPDATE:
I have visited 4 times, during business hours, only to find a sign saying there are closed for a break.
These people cap Smh. Sold me a 100 mic.
In I end up looking it up smh this same mic is 22.dollars on Amazon. I Took it back right away
Alllllll Cap Over there look up the merchandise prices before u bye
I learn my lesson
17. Music & Arts
Address: 3636 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
ANDREW WAS AMAZING! had very little knowledge but was educated and taken care of very nicely i really did appreciate him one of your best for sure!
I brought in my son’s violin for a repair, and they were able to repair on the spot and for a very reasonable price. You can tell from chatting with them that they are very competent in dealing with stringed instruments, and I’ll certainly be going to them for any future repair or rental / purchase needs.
If you need a string instrument this is THE place.
Very nice and knowledgeable folks. Highly Recommend this shop.
I found a part for violons to fix it. Worth ti find that match your need
Good, knowledgeable people. I can’t tell if it’s them or if it’s just the market price of orchestra instruments, but EXPENSIVE.
We went to this business to rent a violin as recommended by my daughter’s violin teacher. My family member can’t wear a mask due to a medical condition. This business refused service to us because my family member is unable to wear the mask. THIS IS MEDICAL DISCRIMINATION!!!!!
I don’t leave reviews for many places unless I have a really good or really bad experience. The rudest people I have ever encountered. Edit: I do not know what you are referring to. I hope no one else shares our unfortunate experience with these people.
19. Megatone Music
Address: 44b Town Sq, Blairsville, GA 30512 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
Great Store and a Gibson Dealer,Takamine, Epiphone.
Very knowledgeable owner.
Very nice shop. Very helpful. Appeared to have a nice selection of instruments and accessories
Awesome shop with an awesome owner. Lots of vintage guitar and bass amps, and a nice selection of new and funky vintage instruments as well. Good vibes!
Scammers. Associate Darryl is a nasty individual and scams his customers. Stay away from this business.
Even a simple order of a single item can turn into an issue with this place. Save yourself the hassle and do not associate with this business.
Dealt with these people on reverb. They ignored my messages, refused a refund twice, once before it had shipped out because the dimensions weren’t right to fit on my guitar. Then after no response for months, I posted on their facebook and they deleted my post. These people are scammers and deceivers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
20. Jennings Music & Education Center
Address: 3595 Canton Rd Suite 308, Marietta, GA 30066 , Calvos , Georgia , United States
I love this store! Everyone was so nice and they had everything I needed
Everyone at Jennings Music couldn’t be nicer! Very professional and knowledgeable. Ms. Katherine is a wonderful music teacher, she is very patient and understanding with her students.
I would recommend Jennings Music to anyone needing instruments, supplies, books and lessons.
Great store! The husband and the wife are beautiful people and very helpful! Thanks for being so nice.
Edit: I was called the day of this review and my issues resolved within the week. I have never received such a quick response to a complaint and it counts for a lot in my mind. I can tell that their reputation and customer satisfaction is important. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding my previous experiences and change my review. I’m not sure why the ball was dropped previously but they made sure to fix the problem and apologize. Everyone makes mistakes but their willingness to take responsibility and handle the situation was refreshing.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! I signed up for a lease to own plan for a bass at this store. The plan is supposed to include repairs and a size upgrade because my son is 13 and still growing. About 8 months into the plan the bridge was broken on the bass (a simple fix) and I was told to expect 3 weeks for repairs. 3 weeks turned into several months. I had to start going in person everyday and basically harassing the staff to give him his bass. They never gave him his bass back. They gave him a very beat up bass and told me not to worry about the appearance as he would not keep this bass and would have one in better condition once the contract was up as the size would be upgraded. However, once I took the bass home to my son he informed me that this bass was smaller than the original one he was given and so he couldn’t practice at all. I informed the store of this in August, it is now January. The store is completely unresponsive and unless I start harassing them again, they’ll leave me with a product I can’t use but still charge me monthly for it.
The people there are very friendly, courteous
Nice store. Very friendly and helpful. If I ever consider leasons for anything, I’d definitely consider them.
These people were extremely rude and impatient this evening. I was trying to reach a salesman that left another store. I need a cello but I will not buy from these people. Instead of trying to sell me something they simply hung up in my face. I called right back thinking it was a mistake and they were not kind. They lack good communication skills and have no customer service skills at all. I was expecting them to say, “… the person you are looking for does not work here but we would love to assist you with a purchase”.
Way over priced !!!!! My son in high school needed a mouth piece for his instrument. Jennings wanted to charge almost $70. You can get them for $20 in Kennesaw and YES they are acceptable and standard in the class room. Wow! I am so tired of this area trying to over charge.
