Castle Rock Music is a great store! I have been shopping here for years and will continue to do so. The staff is is very informative about the brands that they carry and can answer pretty much every question you would have. I also like the diversity of the store and their wide range of instruments! Easily the best music store within 50 miles.
Very nice establishment. Great in store selection of instruments, and accessories. Teachers are all incredibly professional, and work well with students of any experience level. Staff was friendly, and eager to help or answer any questions.
Venham visitar, cidade acolhedora e com diversos passeios, alem de um ótimo outlet
I don’t see why many people are giving this place bad reviews, as I have good experience with it. I take guitar lessons here and the mentors are nice. I do feel a tinge of hostility towards me from the front desk workers, but they do seem approachable. I’ve never gone through a repair before with them, but that’s because I’ve never broken a guitar. If it weren’t from the tiny bit of hostility from the workers I would’ve given this place a five, in my experience and work with them.
It says castle rock band store but it’s more of a Guitar store there’s no other instruments.
Singing lessons for our daughter is wonderful. The process is good, prices are acceptable, and the venue is nice.
The shop itself is cute and quaint, but the selection is only very low end. Nothing of value at all. Not even cheap name brand equipment, but just low end non-name brand stuff. No biggie I guess, and I’m sure their selection is ideal for what they’re going for, but you would think at least one Fender or Les Paul would be in there. Haha! Nope. I’m speaking about guitar/bass/amp selection.
Overall, a good place and great for kids or first time people.
Don’t waste your time and money. The people that work here are just high school kids who look like they’d rather be anywhere else. I recently bought guitar strings specifically for a classical guitar. I asked the kid for nylon strings and he handed me a pack assuring me that they were the only nylon strings they had. I had my reservations on his assertion as the kid could hardly utter more than a teenage grunt, but I went ahead and got them anyway.
Surprise, surprise, turns out they were all metal strings. When I called to see if I could exchange them someone answered the phone who sounded like he was at least 30. That didn’t matter though since he said I opened the package that there was nothing they could do. Seriously? A brand new set of strings and you can’t take them back or exchange them? How bout you repackage them?
It’s all good though as there is nothing that I need to do at this particular place of business. I can always find another store to give my money to.
Now try hiring some staff that actually care about music and know what they’re talking about.
Took my mandolin in for a relatively simple repair several months ago. Picking it up today because they are too incompetent to fix it… or call us and provide us with that information.
Rude staff who act as though you should know everything they know. Sad they have no competition in Castle Rock. TOTALLY lacks customer empathy!

Could not be better! Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable support with any problem. Reasonable prices! I highly recommend them!
Great people and service! Very timely.
Bass guitar sounds better than ever. Thank you!
Very knowledgable place and trustworthy. We drive all the way from Aurora to have them work on our instraments. They are also reasonably priced.
Educated teachers for all sorts of instruments.
Reviewed by educators as a good training school for instrument repair
This place is awful. Purchased a flute from a Craigslist posting. Flute doesn’t fit my needs. Attempted to return flute in less than a day and they will not refund me my money.
They never said all sales final. Do not go here. They are shady. The guy Brad sold me the flute for cash to avoid taxes on it.
Be cautious. They may buy insufficient product to replace your expensive equipment.
I took my flute in, not only did they not bash on the flute but they made the flute worse. Now I have to get about $1,000 worth of work on it done. They striped the corkscrew and did not put the pads back in alignment, so now it is harder to play.
Do not rent from this place! Returned the instrument 6 months ago, they are still charging my credit card. Worst customer service I have ever seen in the state of Colorado.

Love! Love! Love! This little get it all music shop!!!! It’s a diamond in the ruff! ❤️ I have only seen the owners behind the counter and they are super nice. Great selection! Plus it’s a locally owned business.
Cheerful knowledgeable people working here enthusiastic to serve clients
Very friendly and informative. Great merchandise selection. Will definitely be back for more LPs.
It’s a cool little record store in Castle Rock. I stop by here every time I get a chance and I always find something for a decent price. Smelled strongly of incense the last time I went, but not overpoweringly.
Cute ma and pa vibes, a good selection of what you would hear on the radio, but nothing more “under grown” but does the job and full of nice kind people
Great used selection.
4. Ziggi’s Coffee
Address: 7298 Lagae Rd, Castle Pines, CO 80108 , Castle Pines , Colorado , United States
I like giving my business to Ziggi’s instead of the evil empire
They have the best Blended Chia!!!!
Walked in just to let my daughter use the bathroom an it was the cleanest best smelling bathroom ive been in an that was on the mens side.
So thank you for that an for having high standards if you care that much about the rest room i ca. Only imagine your coffee an food.
Lots of delicious choices, and the peeps are always great. I just wish the long line was a little faster, and there were non-sugared, fruit-based choices for kids.
Food and drinks were fine. Staff was very pleasant, but serving processes need improvement.
WONDERFUL service with a smile and great customer perks. Sadly the coffee could use some work.
Both girls that were working were nasty. The one at the drive through window was particularly rude. They put the wrong kind of cream and were just rude about it.
Slow, expensive, and got the order wrong besides. Instead of fixing it, just got an, ‘oh, sorry’
The coffee was very very very strong, the bagel was microwaved, and both of us got a quarter sized dollop of cream cheese in a sauce cup, I was unaware plain store brand cream cheese was in such high demand. The customer service was nice until we got our drinks and we had no idea which one was which and couldn’t help but laugh because it’s just 2 cups of coffee that was made look like a calculus exam. The girls are very sweet but extremely poorly trained. Still better than Starbucks though.

My son loves his drum lessons from Ben at Allegro. We’re so glad we found this place and signed him up for lessons. We’ve been going for 7 months now and we look forward to each lesson!
We absolutely love you guys!
My little brother and I have frequented Allegro for the past year or so, and the staff as always been friendly, knowledgeable, and tolerant of my little bro’s desire to play every instrument in the store that he possibly can. Love the hometown vibe
Great shall music shop with a helpful staff. Looks like a great place for learning young musicians.
The staff was easily the best feature of the store. They were very friendly and supportive in helping me understand their products and services. Not only do they sell instruments but they offer lessons and practice rooms too. The selection of used electric pianos was limited and the prices of new instruments was higher than what I could pay shopping online, but with services like rent-to-own (great rates) and such knowledgeable staff I will be a return client.
Fantastic music shop Two guys were in there working. So very helpful. I shopped the stores and net before heading out. Allegro music has great prices
I came for the guitar lessons. The staff was very polite. For a long time, they asked a teacher whom I even very briefly met. We agreed on the price, schedule and I left my phone number on which the teacher should contact me. No one contacted me. What is most surprising is that the manager sees that something is wrong, the student did not come to the planned very first lesson and does nothing. This place is probably so overloaded with work that they can choose individuals to be their students… Unfortunately, I can not recommend this place.
If there is an negative star I will definitely rate this shop. We rent two cellos for our kids for 9 months with their rent-to-own program, we had been told that we can use the rental equity purchase ANY music instruments. However, when we returned them the staff told us our equity should be used on those rental/used musical instrument, if we want to use them on something different, they will take 25% from our equity and they also sell us those musical instruments $100 more. I went to the store three times and every time I got different explanation on their policy. Can you imagine they sell an $500 used Yamaha student flute which costs only $200 on amazon? And an ukulele for $145? Come on! We paid about $900 rental just thought we can get something interesting for our kids when we return but it ends up we just got 2 cheap Yamaha junior guitars which Allegro charged $250 each (only costs $135 on amazon). Highly recommend those who plan to rent musical instruments from them to get an used one from Craigslist or Facebook marketplace.
Update 6/24/19
You are very welcome to post the policy I signed here, if there is any. If you told customer the equity can be used for “rent to own”, I don’t understand what is the issue when we really want to buy some instruments. The problem is you guys keep changing the words you say to your customer. You literally want to throw an used Yamaha 220 student flute to us for about $500, which the a brand new newer model costs only $480 on amazon, that’s a rip-off! And come on, we both know what quality your cello are, those just basic student cello which you can find the new one in amazon $250 each.
To those who want to rend musical instruments from Allegro, I suggest you do some research first on Facebook marketplace or Amazon, unless you do not care how much you paid. Their “rent-to-own” program will sell over-priced instruments to customers when they want to use the equity.
My son dropped his guitar off over two weeks ago to get fixed and they never even pulled it out of the bag to fix it. They lost the paper work and we’re worthless at customer service! My son had to find his own guitar in the mess and nothing had been done to it. Never getting our business again ( actually didn’t have to pay because they didn’t touch it) and I’ll tell everyone they are horrible.

Always super great customer service. Great staff, great selection. Music is cool as well
The owners are super-friendly andd polite. The prices are very reasonable. Well-stocked. The best liqour store around Castle Pines.
Support your local, small business. This place has an excellent variety of drinks that will satisfy all tastes and preferences at every price point. Friendly service and easy to find just off I-25.
You want it. They got it
Just a normal liquor store, nothing special
Liquor
Way overpriced. We just moved to the area and checked a few items that we had recently purchased at winesellers. We walked out as the wine was $5 more and the other items $7-10 more. Crazy!
Very expensive place
Not open until 10 on Sunday!

Fernando, Debbie and Emmanuel provided excellent, personal customer service, not to mention products that seamlessly enhanced the audio/video capability of my home. Fernando came over for a visit in order to fully understand my requirements, then made recommendations to support them and was available for consultation and help after the installation. I’d highly recommend SmartLife because they understand their products, their market and provide the best customer service!
As a business owner, I appreciate the complexities and challenges with operating a small business. Fernando and Debbie have set the bar in their field for excellence in regards to delivering an outstanding product with superb customer service. They are always accessible, go out of their way to answer questions, and created an amazing home audio/visual experience. I can not over-state what a great business this is and how happy we are that we trusted them with our home. We are fortunate to have them in the Castle Pines/Castle Rock community.
Debbie was warm into easing us into the idea of automated blinds. We met her and she gave us a good idea of what to expect. At first we thought we didn’t need them, but after seeing them in action, I really wanted the automated shades! Her team (specifically Emmanuel and Hank) spent several hours of the day dutifully measuring, drilling and hanging the blinds. I could tell that they both cared about their craft and wanted to do the job right. They most certainly did with professionalism, courtesy and friendliness while answering my questions and training me on the use of the system. Debbie even swung by mid-install to ask what I thought so far. I recommend SmartLife Audio Video if you want to be taken care of!

My high school son has been taking private viola lessons from Lois for about a year now and we’ve been so happy with her teaching. His skills have grown tremendously during this time and she encourages him and stretches him at every turn. The recitals she plans are always beautifully planned and executed, and she’s just a pleasure to be around. Highly recommend!
My son has progressed so quickly since starting violin lessons with Lois. He has loved learning how to play this year! Lois is good with encouraging kids to follow their musical passion.
Mrs. Owsley has been such a wonderful teacher for our daughter. She loves going to her lessons and is always excited to tell me about the things she learned. We have enjoyed attending the concerts and other performance opportunities that have been offered. Our daughter has grown in her musical abilities as well as her performance skills.

Got my guitar here manager was super nice and understood what I wanted and helped me in every way she could
I bought a used violin from their sister store after deciding I wanted to try to pick it up again after almost 20 years of not playing. The violin I received needed the bridge installed and needed tuning, so the sister store sent me to Music and Arts for help. Christopher helped me get the violin set up and ready to play. I told him my situation and he helped me pick out a music book to learn from and some accessories. What I appreciated most was that he was genuinely excited to share a love of music with someone looking to get back into it. Thank you for your help!
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!
Very poor experience with lessons. Tried to cancel lessons because we were traveling for the holidays. We missed 3 of 4 lessons before they called and asked why we weren’t coming. We had originally planned on continuing our lessons, but after multiple refusals to work with us (saying “you signed the contract and there’s nothing we can do”) by staff and manager, that’s not going to happen. I wasn’t expecting much as they are technically correct – we did sign, but didn’t understand the auto renewal policy. They can do better, and should.
Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.

Top music school in Castle Rock. Performances are professional and awesome!
Amazing musicians making the next generation of amazing musicians. Highly recommend
My son has been a student of this school for guitar for several years now. We love this school. The founders, Charlene and Greg, are passionate about music and helping others to achieve their potential as musicians.
There are countless ways a person could connect to music and The Musician’s Den helps their students understand their own relationship to music and creation. If you like classical, rock, folk, whatever, The Musician’s Den will help you maximize your own engagement with music on your own terms. In contrast, many other studios are just proficient in instruction of classical music. In other schools the students are taught what the school likes, not what the student likes.
If you want to learn to play music you love, come to The Musician’s Den. If you want to learn to play music someone else loves, with little to no say about it, go to another school.

Great location. Fast and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
I normally hate dropping off packages due to the fact this store is busy and people annoy me, but as I was standing there and waiting for the storm to clear up a small glimmering light appeared John Fatchett he noticed my hands were full, he stopped what he was doing and came over to me and relieved my exhausted arms of the packages I was holding. It was amazing, I recieved the best customer serivce definitely returning thanks John
I love this UPS store so much, Holly is the kindest, most helpful employee there is! When I brought in an antique refrigerator she boxed it right up and it got there no problem!
This location is getting better, the owner can be a bit rude but has been a while since I’ve had a bad experience so deserves 3 stars. The new associates are very helpful and friendly and give me my receipt with no attitude which is all I ask for.
Nice having a ups location in castle pines
Appreciate the effort this location is doing, this place used to be really hard for me with bad experiences but lately the customer service has been actually really nice!! Keep it up. Def has a better feeling coming in now.
Never printing at a UPS again. Their print system is terrible and you can’t upload documents from your phone. The staff is extremely unhelpful and told me I ordered incorrectly and was charged over $7 for a $0.20 print. Extremely disappointed.
If I could put 0 star I would!! I went in to get my package sent to New Jersey overnight and we were told that they would send it now, but they didn’t start shipping my package 3 days later. There was a reason we paid overnight to get it shipped but this UPS store disappoint us!! Will never us UPS again!
Super Rude, not helpful. Bad attitude from young 20 something who is working there now. Went in last week to ask about notary and was told $5 for each stamp and then she was unsure where to notarize. I left. Came back today to mail something and again same girl who told me it would be $100 to mail out of the country. I asked what other options were available and she seemed offended and bothered to have to explain. I left and took my business back to the old Post office. What happened to the other people you had in there prior to this little snot? I’m willing to pay more for convience but not rude behavior . She needs training on customer care. I will pass along to friends and neighbors.
