Cody T was an excellent salesperson. He knew exactly where the book I wanted was located. He also shared the fact that he recommended that same book to a friend. He was very polite and friendly. I am a minority and a lot of the time people act as if the faster we can pay them and get out the better. But Cody wasn’t that way at all, he didn’t even seem to notice my color. Thank you Cody.
I play thr clarinet and the saxophone and got them from here. I also take lessons and this place always has what I need.
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.
Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!
Very poor experience with lessons. Tried to cancel lessons because we were traveling for the holidays. We missed 3 of 4 lessons before they called and asked why we weren’t coming. We had originally planned on continuing our lessons, but after multiple refusals to work with us (saying “you signed the contract and there’s nothing we can do”) by staff and manager, that’s not going to happen. I wasn’t expecting much as they are technically correct – we did sign, but didn’t understand the auto renewal policy. They can do better, and should.
Awesome experience doing business with them. Great service and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Good source for hard to find tubes.
Purchased Telefunken NOS Ax tubes. It was a excellent experience. I was looking at another tube but after telling them my situation they recommended these and I am so glad I listened. They gave me an excellent price. They know what they are doing. I definitely will be using them again. 6 stars
It’s been 5 business days and many order hasn’t shipped
I messaged Fuzz Audio before placing the order as I was particular about the condition of the tubes. I wanted to have legitimate new old stock condition tubes. I wanted to spend the extra money to get clean working tubes and not have the hassle of trying to piece together all of them individually for my Deluxe Reverb. The order initially took over a week to ship out and then when the tubes arrived they were in less than “NOS” condition and the 12AT7s RCA blackplates I had requested were substituted with RCA 6201s. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have let me know beforehand. Besides this the tubes all looked used, I got that they are old but these had noticeable wear on the glass and pins. Their were issues with microphonics, logos worn and no original boxes. Were these tubes even tested? It was a big let down. I messaged Fuzz Audio Support and after a week or so they said I could send back the tubes I didn’t want and get a replacement. I sent back a microphonic RCA 12AX7 and worn out RCA 6V6. He sent me a message and let me pick out which replacement I wanted. Which was great but then the wrong tube arrived and after he messaged me saying the one I picked had been sold. He then let me know he would message me again when he got more tubes in but then never replied to my response so I decided to just leave it alone. Now I’ve been having issues with my reverb and tremolo so I took it to a shop to be looked at and what would you know I’ve got two tubes testing low. I’m not hard on my amps and this one’s been used rarely the past 6 months. Luckily the tubes should still be covered under warranty. So I sent an email to Fuzz Audio Support letting them know the issues and no response. I re-sent the email again a week later and still nothing.
Bottom line: There is a big difference between “Tests” NOS and NOS tubes and I’m extremely doubtful these tubes are truly NOS. I’ve had multiple fail in less than 6 months, issues with microphonics, terrible customer service and attention to detail, and impressively slow shipping. Save your money and look elsewhere.
No response from their customer support for various questions. Website boasts shipping product within 24 hours, but I still have an order unfulfilled after 5 days. They charged me and took payment within a day, though. This company or website may be a scam. There is no phone number or address listed, and all contact is via text or email.
Update: they answered email inquiry regarding order and upgraded one of the tubes to make up for the delay & lack of response. Which was a nice gesture. (All prior questions remain unanswered – which was about product I was intending to buy, and now most likely won’t buy from them)
Within the same day I had a fraudulent charge made on my credit card for a large amount at Amazon – which I have not ordered from for over 3 months.
Security on Fuzz Audio’s website may be compromised, or perhaps one of their employees isn’t trustworthy. I would be wary of ordering from this company.
My dad and I went there to get me a keyboard, and honestly we had great service even on a slow day. As well as they had good prices!
These guys are phenomenal. You couldn’t ask for a nicer bunch of men. Friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyable to speak with. This store is squeaky clean and everyone is doing their part by wearing their mask and keeping proper distance. Great job
They have a great selection and really knowledgeable sales people
Helpful
Very disorganized guitar wall and lots of the “new” guitars had body damage with no discount offered. Employees just don’t seem to care there anymore. Sad…this store used to be my go to in Colorado.
Guys are always helpful even to us neophytes…

I purchase a guitar processor ( used ) upon getting it home to plug it in to play around with it the unit won’t even power on. I have played guitar ( acoustic ) for years but only recently started playing electric. My neighbor before moving here was a significant guitar player from a big 80’s band. I am not going to included name as he has nothing to do with the issue and I have no idea of his business relationships just know he was a cool dude and could party like well a ROCK STAR. The stores answer for this issue was you can return it for a refund. I myself am a very busy man that works 18 hrs a day
( how I afford live by 80’s rock star’s ) and my time is money I lost. So now not only did I not get what I paid for I also lost probably about 2-3 hrs of my time with ordering, pickup, returning unit, and all for nothing. I have no working product and if I want one I will have to do the process all over again as it wasn’t offered a exchange, perhaps discount towards the purchase of a different unit, or any other sort of compensation for the time I have spent to get a product that is worthless. It has nothing to do with the money of the matter yes it was a used unit but I as I’m sure most people do held guitar center to a standard of quality and trusted that I was getting at the very minimum a usable product. Well don’t make the same mistake I did and think this of the company, they know that the sale of one person of my stature ( nobody in music business ) won’t hurt them one bit and may as well told me to F**k OFF and we as consumers have allowed them to be able to do this. Now I grew up in small town with small business the damn guy seen you 5-6 times a year knew your name what strings and pics you wanted and if you did have a product issue would have drove to your house with a working replacement if that’s what was need to satisfy a customer. I’ve ramble here long enough so I’ll go ahead and wrap this up with a BIG F**K YOU GUITAR CENTER learn to stand behind your products and appreciate the fact that you have customers because the small local places sure did before you put them out of business.
Called ahead to ask them about an issue with my guitar. They told me to come in and have a tech look at it for free! Awesome! When I get there he tells me to go on youtube and figure out how to fix it. Thanks. Prices are better online also and they try selling you the most expensive stuff. Maybe i caught a bad day or something but looking at the other reviews in started to see a trend. Im not going back there.
I visited this store on Sunday at 3p.m.
I wanted help with determining the string gauge on a Guitar.
Was told the “tech” was out to lunch at 3 pm. and that he was the only person in the entire “Guitar Center” who was qualified to ascertain the gauge of a string. Nice
Counter guy says, it that o.k?
Well, not really, I would think that there must be someone on staff in a so called Guitar Store to help with something as simple as this.
Do prospective customers come to a store only to be told that they need to come back another time? I guess my perception of quality of service
is just well off the mark.
If they are that inept, I would not consider taking any of my Guitars there for service, not would I purchase one from them.
Also, I would think that Guitar Center might consider that when people enter their store, many times they are just trying them on. I guess that they just don’t get that.
I don’t know, every time I go into this store-, which has been about a half dozen times- I have a lackluster experience.
They are overpriced anyway-so I don’t think I’ll be going back.
A great store for beginners, maybe. Good Luck

Cutest little Kpop shop! Great selection, always restocking, super sweet family owned store! So happy to finally have Kpop store in Colorado! I go at least a couple of times a month!
i LOVE this store, it has really reasonable pricing compared to other kpop stores in colorado and it always has my favorites in stock! i come here like almost every week for new comebacks.
Everyone is always so friendly. It’s like a nice little home away from home being able to talk and do the fun activities that go on. I love this store so much and I’m so very happy that it exist.
i’ve been to a lot of kpop stores specifically the ones in LA so i was happy to hear that there was one opening in my area the amount of albums they have is great i just wish staff were friendlier i’ve gone twice with my mom and sister didn’t get a “hey” or a smile so i just wish they would work on that :/
So happy to finally have a kpop store in Colorado! Been here twice with my friends and we always leave with a big haul. Leaving one star off because I’d like to see more updated stock in the future and better customer service, but overall great place
I stopped here for my daughter since she is a huge BTS fan. Location was easy to navigate to via Google Maps (GPS). My review is also based on the feedback I received from my 18 year old daughter.
I wish there were a bigger selection for her even though she still managed to find things to purchase. On the other hand, I’m kind of glad this store wasn’t that huge – less money to spend on K-POP stuff for me. If this was my first K-POP store, then I’d say this place was satisfactory; however, being from Las Vegas and the fact that we have a K-POP store much bigger here, it was difficult to not compare the two. Regardless, considering the minimal amount of K-POP stores in the Denver/Boulder/CO Springs area, this store adequate for all you K-POP lovers. Also my family thought this store was very “cute.”
While this shop has a wider selection of albums and some hard to find albums, the overall experience is always somewhat lacking. The staff tends to be very aloof and unwelcoming. Some of the prices are reasonable, but many of the albums and merchandise are pretty overpriced.
While it’s cool that there are some things there that are hard to find elsewhere, overall everything is very overpriced and the staff is unprofessional. My friend and I came in and we both said hi, but were completely ignored by the staff. Wasn’t the first time something like this had happened.
My daughter is 12 and we have been going to A Musician Is….. for 2 years now. At that age many hobbies come and go but not her desire to play the violin and I believe that has alot to do with Nikki. I’ve sat in on every class and it’s amazing to see the progress my daughter has made and knowledge she has gained learining to play the violin, the discipline she has learned being a musician and how to apply that to everyday life. Nikki’s music knowledge and the tidbits she throws your way makes each class entertaining.
My daughter looks forward to all the recitals and gets a kick out of people of all ages dressed up nervous and excited to perform. Nikki is an awesome teacher that I would highly recommend to anyone!!!
I take private cello lessons with Vincent! He is an amazing teacher and can easily explain the concepts for all ages. He is able to diagnose learning needs and expedite the progression of skills. I recommend cello lessons at this conservatory to all budding cellists!
Nicole has been a wonderful and patient teacher. As an adult learner with several setbacks this year, she has been wonderful in helping me learn at a good pace. I really appreciate that she also gives good feedback and helps you to learn to understand techniques and how to fix your errors when you’re not in the studio. She has also been wonderful in helping me take the perfectionism out of learning to play, which I am truly grateful for. I highly recommend her for violin, especially for adult learners like myself.

I have nothing but good things to say about this school. Leaders are people with a good heart. They gladly accepted my child (we came to the USA from Ukraine when the war started there) and provided the best conditions for learning. Thank them!!! we highly recommend teacher Larisa (attentive, talented teacher, she will find an approach to any child and embrace music with love). The best school! The best teachers! Very nice learning environment!
amazing place to learn!! my daughter is able to tell me the difference between a whole note and a double eighth note, count the beats for different notes, and can correctly name at least 10 different instruments, and she isn’t even 3 yet! love love love her instructor Mr. Cortez, as well as the rest of the amazing staff at CMI! thank you for making this business a home to myself and many other families ❤️
This overall has been a positive experience for my daughter. Wish they guided you more to explore more than one discipline. And the price increase was not favorable but the quality of the teacher my daughter sees must be worth it!
Great teachers at a great environment.
Teachers rotate often, so it is difficult for kids to build a connection.
Let me preface this by saying everything noted here is a personal experience and your mileage may vary, clearly this is not a regular occurrence as their reviews are traditionally positive. Onto my situation; I had an instructor assigned named Quentin for learning Cello as an adult beginner. We did four lessons together, following I missed an appointment due to a family emergency. I apologized and told the instructor they could have the payment as if I attended (I was very distracted and didn’t notify Quentin that day). However I was ghosted from my instructor (we communicated via SMS) and I felt this situation wasn’t handled professionally. So I forfeit the rest of my paid lessons and stopped lessons. I may try another Cello instructor in the future, if successful I will change my review.
This place is great if you have the right teacher, I would have loved to give it a higher review. We’ve had so many issues with communication, our teacher not showing up and just lack-luster lessons in general. My son was supposed to perform at one of their recitals accompanied by his teacher and the instructor left him high and dry even after we told him what time we would be performing, that we would be rescheduling lessons because of sports and a whole host of other things. Very dissatisfied with their lack of timeliness, lack of efficient communication between instructors and the rest of the staff setting up their schedule. Pulled my son out after he said it stopped being fun because he was let down by his teacher one too many times.
so many reasons, first we went there after No seeing a special offer on fb which said first month will be $35 off… (before you judge- i am a student with kids, and every penny counts) which we never got even after following up the next month on this. only answer they gave was, will get back to you after talking to manager.
then they have weird policies. You cannot discontinue with them if you are not calling them before 15th of the month. Even if you are moving out of town. I am being given an option to take makeups which do not work. Other option is I can gift to someone, really?
Their make ups dont work cause the teacher is very busy, I have two makes ups and so far but only 15 minutes have been given as an extra beyond the 30 mins regular class. I have followed up with teacher multiple times and surrendered after that.
Edited to add on 7/24
1. I never threatened your staff that i would leave bad review. I said I didn’t have good experience and i am unhappy about it. Perhaps you understood correctly that I will leave a bad review, which you were so right.
2. The free class was a trial class which you should not boast around here.
3. your facebook ad never said that it won’t be combined with referral. Your staff was supposed to get to me after checking with manager, which never happened.
4 . what about the never given make up classes i am unhappy about and following up with teacher since april? do you have s story to tell on that too, if not please come up with one. let the public know how good a storyteller you guys are.
5. I never checked with my friend if he got $25, perhaps I should check that too.
6. what about considering a special request coz I have to move out pretty soon from here. How can we take these make ups considering 45 mins of 2 make ups are pending since april and may after multiple follow ups.
take it with a pich if salt and improve on points where you can inprove rather than attacking me with false allegations.

Went to purchase a music stand.
The service is top-notch!
This is easily the best Music & Arts or music store in the Denver metro as far as I am concerned. Eddie and John customer service and passion for music is unparalleled!! They definitely went above and beyond while assisting my daughter in re-stringing her Cello and continuing her music career.
They will have all my business moving forward, Thanks Eddie and John!!!
We had a good experience here with instrument rental and the staff is friendly. We’ll return!
i guess its okay if you want a 99$ beginner acoustic or an overpriced pair of drum sticks…
Okay, nothing personal here, it simply doesn’t offer enough to receive four or five stars. Are there a few digital pianos, audio interfaces, & an assortment of guitars, amolkfiera, & percussion instruments? Yes, suitable selection. Best to visit if you’re renting instrument or beginning a specific musical journey early on.
Decent sheet music selection. They do repairs but send the instrument off for them to be done. Double check the repair receipt as mine was overcharged by $120.00. They did fix the error, but only after I argued 3 times with the workers. Satisfactory but not my first choice. I do love the accessory selection though.
Horrible customer service. Have been dealing with a billing issue for over a year. Their employee screwed up, I sent them the proof, and yet they still tried to send me to collections. And I’m still out the money. Each time I’ve tried to communicate with them, it’s always that they will give me a call back and they never do. Because of this, I plan on trying to protect people from this company. Because if there is a mistake, they like to screw you.
Today I called the sister store guitar center looking for Hal Leonard’s key stickers for all keyboards. They stated they did not have it but that Music & arts center would. I called your location in Englewood asking for that specific product. I spoke to Garret on the phone; he stated they had the exact product I was looking for. I drove 35 minutes to pick up said product. When I arrived no one greeted me instead a man stood in a corner looking at products (leading me to believe he was a customer) and a random voice coming from underneath the counter by the registers but no person standing there. I proceeded to look around from my product which was no where to be seen. Finally I approached the man seeing if he knew who could help me. Turns out it was Garret himself, at which point he pulled out the exact opposite product I drove 35 mins looking for telling me that is all they had. Turns out the voice behind the counter was an employee talking about fighting someone on her personal phone during work hours instead of helping me.
The customer service at this location is awful. If he would have paid attention to me on the phone I could have drove 2 mins to get the same thing he had me drive 35 mins for.
Also if the other employee wasn’t bringing her personal problems and dealing with them on company time I wouldn’t have had to walk around the store looking for a product I didn’t even need.
Just walked in the store, not a customer in sight, 4 employees huddled and not one spoke to me or offered assistance. I headed to leave and asked “are you too busy to assist a customer?” They said no but I still was not offered assistance

I can’t say enough good things about the staff and the setup Jeremy the owner has created! Perfect learning environment, fun and interesting atmosphere! Three of our family members all take lessons in the lesson rooms, and play together in the large professional environment jam room. This place is great!
Rachel, my instructor for voice and piano at TR Music, has been a beacon of musical wisdom. Her dedication and personalized guidance have unveiled new dimensions in my musical expression.
David just tuned our 12 year old Yamaha upright and fixed several of the keys which had become unglued. It sounds like its old cheerful self again! Scheduling with him was extremely simple, he was prompt and kept me updated if his schedule changed. His price is very fair, and he is approachable, friendly, and a clear and concise communicator. He is now my go-to piano tuner-fixer-guru! Thank you, David!
Seeking assistance in songwriting, I sought the guidance of an experienced instructor who shared valuable insights from the industry. Through her expertise, my storytelling abilities were unlocked and my lyrics and melodies were elevated to new heights. As a result, my confidence has significantly grown, ensuring that my writing will benefit for years to come.

Great place for repair! I brought in my violin and guitar for a couple of minor fixes. They fixed it within a very reasonable time. I’ve bought a couple of adapters and cables. Very nice customer service. They made sure that I was satisfied with the service before I left. They called me or texted me to tell me that my instruments were ready. Overall, great service and great people!
People are nice and they have a small selection of interesting and unique instruments.
It says castle rock band store but it’s more of a Guitar store there’s no other instruments.
Singing lessons for our daughter is wonderful. The process is good, prices are acceptable, and the venue is nice.
The shop itself is cute and quaint, but the selection is only very low end. Nothing of value at all. Not even cheap name brand equipment, but just low end non-name brand stuff. No biggie I guess, and I’m sure their selection is ideal for what they’re going for, but you would think at least one Fender or Les Paul would be in there. Haha! Nope. I’m speaking about guitar/bass/amp selection.
Overall, a good place and great for kids or first time people.
I don’t see why many people are giving this place bad reviews, as I have good experience with it. I take guitar lessons here and the mentors are nice. I do feel a tinge of hostility towards me from the front desk workers, but they do seem approachable. I’ve never gone through a repair before with them, but that’s because I’ve never broken a guitar. If it weren’t from the tiny bit of hostility from the workers I would’ve given this place a five, in my experience and work with them.
Rude staff who act as though you should know everything they know. Sad they have no competition in Castle Rock. TOTALLY lacks customer empathy!
Went to pick up my boyfriend’s mandaline just now. I don’t appreciate being interrogated through petty attempts of guilt.
“I’m so surprised your nice in person, you left such a scathing review.”
I don’t like you guys. It took 6 months and 3 calls from me before I got any update on this instrument. “We tried to call” … ‘In the last month.’ was conveniently what you left off, and I’m annoyed at the audacity that you couldn’t take a review I didn’t even write and decided to confront me about it like I’m the misinformed idiot.
I wasn’t going to say anything, but maybe next time you’ll learn to shut your mouth and keep some business.
UPDATE: The cost of the repair was $10 and they gave the mandolin back to me in about a week and he did it for free because of my interaction at Castle Rock Music. Every expert I talked to had a suggestion. 3D print the piece for a temporary fix, find a junk mandoline and scavenge, or just give it to someone who knows what they’re doing, etc… Not a single person said the fix was too expensive or hard. And I didn’t get an awkward talking to when I went to pick it up. Amazing.
The selection of instruments is limited to a few obscure brands and all of the staff is passive aggressive and rude. I’ve been there three times and regret it every time. I’m done.

Claudia is amazing. My 6 year old daughter loves her. Her classes are also way more affordable than so many of the other options I looked at. It is always great when you get a superior product at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this little hidden gem of a studio!
My son was taking piano lessons from Miss Claudia at the Piano Playhouse a year ago. She is kind, patient, and loves to teach! My son enjoyed her lessons and has even memorized the music CD.
My 5 year old daughter has been taking lessons for nearly a year. It’s been such a joy to see her learn and appreciate music. She is now playing with both hands! Claudia does a great job providing a very structured environment focusing on both ear training, music theory and music appreciation…all mixed with fun!

Awesome all around! The owner Scott was super nice, and he helped me do some research and problem solve a couple things. All the employees I’ve dealt with were very courteous and helpful as well. This store is a shining example of customer service, thank you guys!
Fantastic store. Scott the owner is a consummate professional. Needed a 1/2 violin on short notice for my daughter. Called ahead to confirm they had one. They pulled it aside, cleaned up up, explained the buy-back policy and did everything they could to make the sale as easy as possible.
Will go back again and again!!
As always helpful and friendly staff, not to mention their social distancing practices puts the buying experience at ease. 10/10 support local music
I had high hopes but just wasn’t impressed. Compared to the Aurora location, this store falls short.
The guitar area was decent with everything displayed nicely but the biggest disappointment was the amps. All the amps we’re covered in dust and we’re absolutely filthy compared to any other store I’ve been to. NONE of the amps were plugged into the power strips so you had to ask for all the cords and power cables just to try anything. That made trying to really test the sound of any guitar a nightmare.
The acoustic room was decent but everything good was locked up so one really couldn’t try much without assistance.
The keyboard section was ok but they definitely needed to be cleaned and at least plugged in for one to try.
The glass cases displaying pedals, audio interfaces, microphones and other accessories was good and decently organized.
All in all, it’s an ok store, but some serious attention needs to be paid to the presentation of all items, ESPECIALLY the guitar amps. All items need to be thoroughly cleaned and then put out on the floor with proper presentation with included power cables so every piece can be tested by the customer. No one wants to have to ask for all the missing pieces just to try something out.
UPDATE:
Store owner Jason followed up on his promise to resolve the situation. I stopped by the other day and Jason refunded the purchase in full and made this right. The receipt doesn’t mention needing to have original packaging for returns as Dan originally said, so the return should have been accepted within the 10 days we first returned but because store owner Jason did make this right in the end I am therefore changing my rating from one star to four stars.
Bought a sax mouthpiece for the saxophonist performing for an event I hosted. The mouthpiece was defective and she was unable to perform meaning the trio could not perform either. We took the mouthpiece back the next day and manager Jason would not accept return of the defective mouthpiece even with the receipt in hand claiming it there was nothing wrong even though the saxophonist is a top performer in the area. We would expect better from a nationwide chain.
EDIT: Since my initial review below, Scott (the store owner) contacted me, verified my attempts at contact (taking the time to dig up emails), and made everything right. I returned the pedal and he confirmed that it was a modified unit and refunded me in total. I’m relieved to hear that this is not considered acceptable at their store and would give 5 stars if someone would have contacted me sooner. Many thanks to Scott.
INITIAL REVIEW: I purchased a used Boss FRV-1 reverb pedal online. Turned out to be a bogus pedal with some other circuit mounted in the FRV-1 chassis. The tone potentiometer was merely mounted freely and unconnected to the circuitboard to keep up the false appearance. At first, I only knew that the thing wasn’t working correctly so I emailed them but never recieved a response after repeated attempts. I hesitated to call, hoping I could figure out/find something minor about the pedal that could be easily fixed. I eventually called and was placed on hold and no one picked up. When I got around to opening the pedal chassis up, I found what I described above.
Every time I buy gear here something is wrong with it. Just paid $60.00 for a set of Gibson Deluxe tuners. Installed them and two of the cover fell off. Someone had cut the tabs off all the covers. Really tired of the lack of attention to the functionality of the gear they sell. Will not buy here again!
What a scam. Very unfriendly staff, no customer service skills at all
I contacted the store online before buying the product online to make sure the store could deliver it within my timeframe. They assured me they would.
Now it’s the eve of their 2nd missed shipping opportunity and I won’t receive the gear in time. I had to purchase the item new and pay for overnight shipping to make sure I got it in time.
Between the purchase and now, the store had gone radio silent, despite my sending an additional email requesting information.
The upshot is that I purchased the gear through a reputable online dealer and will have my gear by Wednesday (today is Monday), rather than whenever the staff of this store decided to get around to it.
Btw… “Sorry dude” doesn’t cut it. Hope the store manager processes my refund with a greater sense of urgency and professionalism.
