Well located pleasant store with great variety of instruments, including wind instruments. I went there because my Yamaha PSR-740 had a loose key. They took care of it and charged me a very reasonable price. Customer service was exceptional. Big shout out to Jeremy for being so helpful. I definitely recommend this store!

I went in looking to switch from viola to cello. Paul was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an instrument.
I have called Lamar’s person # that was given. me by the school Numerous times, as if this date, I have not received any form of response. Initially we went to band night ordered starter kit. Finally ended up going to Metro Music. They were very helpful. I now have everthing needed.
So bad my child had to experience a bad start to something that is so wonderful . Go to Metro Music, or their other affiliates, you’ll be happier.
Accounting department is lacking. Starting with their company rep incorrectly completing Rental Agreement, billing errors (which I called to correct), followed by their text messages threatening repossession without the courtesy of a phone call has led yo more headache than it’s worth.
I’ve had a few dealings with this establishment over the past 10 years and overall am not very happy. The first time, I had them refurbish my wife’s mid-level flute, which I believe they contracted out to another location in the FL panhandle. The service rendered it playable again, but the technician scratched the silver in a few places. More recently we rented a French horn from them for my son. After a year, they would aggressively solicit us by phone and text to upgrade the rental to a nicer horn (at a rate of over $150/month). They continuously addressed me by the wrong surname and/or salutation even after I offered corrections. Furthermore, they mislead my wife and I about the credit we would acquire through rental towards the potential purchase of an instrument. This benefit is extremely limited and restrictive! The guys working in the shop were nice and helpful, so I have to believe that all of this is really an issue with management/ownership. That said, I can’t recommend them as a good music store.
Update: Thank you for your response. Just to clarify, I understand the cost of these instruments quite well. My wife and I just do not feel like a 7th grader is worthy of an instrument that retails for roughly $5-6k and felt that the sales calls were far too pushy. With regard to the flute incident, this happened many years ago, and I did reach out to you by phone. I was transferred to the repair technician, who explained that the cause of the damage was difficulty in disassembling the keys. No offer was made to polish or repair the scratches at that time, and I’m not even sure if this could be realistically done.

Leitz Music has an excellent staff and an incredible amount of instruments to choose from. I went with my friend to help her pick out an instrument, tyler helped us out a lot, he’s a great salesmen and he did a great job. Overall, if I ever need anything music wise, I will definitely be going back to Leitz.

Good store and they are helpful, the techs have been excellent. There seems to be a renewed atmosphere in the store. I actually had some one greet me as I entered. I love the selection of percussion instruments. Guitars run the gambit of styles and prices. Fender dealer, Martins, Gretch, Ovation, and any Ukulele you might need.
I have been visiting this store for years. It has been a must stop when in Panama City. I stopped in today and found the usual great selection of instruments and accessories. I played a nice Fender P Bass today and practiced for the first time 4 new contemporary Christian tunes I will be playing at my home church next weekend. The store was not busy and I didn’t see anybody wanting to get where I was playing. I was shocked when after the second time through my 4 songs I was asked if I was going to buy the bass I was playing. I said no explaining I was playing these songs for the first time in preparation for next weekends service. I was asked to stop playing to make room for other customers. So I stopped playing and purchased a pack of music flash cards, which I found when walking through the store. I mentioned to the guy that asked me to stop playing that I play like this at Sam Ash and Guitar Center stores across the country and they welcome me coming in to play and I have never been asked to stop playing until today. Having bought a guitar, mixer, speakers and other accessories here before, I left the store wondering if I will return again after today’s experience in the not busy store.
I agree with others who were disappointed with the petty “5 minute play time” rule. If you’re looking to spend 2k or more on a guitar, better hurry and figure it out soon and spend that cash because they only let you try a guitar for 5 minutes on a lifetime purchase. Genius. I will happily drive the 2 hours to Blue Angels in Pensacola and spend my money on a guitar where the business allows players to find the right instrument for them. I will never be back to this place.
Went to buy a guitar here. Wasn’t much selection but I still found a few I was interested in. Waited over 30 minutes to try to test them out and somebody decided to use the test room as a practice room. Sign says 5 minutes but they were playing the same guitar the entire time. I ran out of time and had to leave. Ordered guitar online instead. Would have preferred to buy local but they didn’t seem to care that somebody was trying to buy a new guitar and amp.
I wasn’t to please with my recent visit. I paid to have a few instruments fixed and they fixed one but the other one was in the same condition as before. Knobs making noise and the input popping. I brought it back thinking maybe it was an honest mistake. Turns out they had sprayed it with canned air before for $20. When I brought it back he did the same again. Issue was never fixed nor a refund. I am normally pleased with their customer service but I felt like I was conned out $20. This last time I took it and blew with my breath into the input and some dust came out and now it plays great.
Happy they fixed my first guitar but not satisfied with my bass and the last time I asked for advice on what cable to grab, they gave me a trs cable for a balanced input that come to find out doesn’t work right, so I am giving this two stars.

They charged a church a couple hundred dollars to come out and fix a problem with a warranty covered instrument, and still didn’t fix the issue. Couple hundred dollars just to say, “sorry, we don’t know what’s going on and can’t help you”. If you can’t fix the issue with an organ/piano you sold, you don’t charge them then, especially if it’s warranty covered!

The absolute worst customer service ever. Lost all of my information on my extended warranty for a 300$ watch that was less than 4 months old. The lady that sold it to me originally no longer works there? I can only wonder why? She did not enter ANY of my information into the system there fom I have no recourse. They are even unable to check the serial number and cross check ttheir inventory. Long story short I’m out 300$ and theymare incapable of making a simple decision in order to remedy it. If I could rate lower I would. I understand that phones are an important part of today’s lifestyle. However, some of us still have regular computer needs. I walked into the store today interested in purchasing a desktop. There were approximately 10 people in the cellular phone department and only ONE person in the computer section who in his own words said “I’m to new to know anything “. I asked said employee if anyone else was around who could answer my questions….. surprise! He said no…… total waste of my time!!

Chris is awesome! We have heard him play in public venues and even for my wife’s birthday party (and still getting compliments on him from our guests). His musical genre covers jazz, blues, classic oldies and contemporary. But to be sure his own music, the latest being Essentials and WestCoastSoul, are smooth and silky. Whether you believe yourself to be a jazz person or not does not matter-everyone can listen to his music all day long.

Came in, was told everything was for sale, then the first group of items we looked at, we were told weren’t for sale. So we looked through the rest of the store where I found another set of items we were interested in, only to be told they were not for sale either. Very displeased because the store was not organized at all

Nice atmosphere when you enter. Very friendly. Prices are too high or I’d give a 5… but selection of tools is better than most pawn around panama city. I saw a few things I’d like to own if they were more reasonable and a few things that were expensive but well worth the price if I were looking for then so it’s a trade off.

Have been a pawnshop junkie for a while supporting the local business I guess.
I walked into Alamo today looking for a chainsaw , he had 2, the one I liked was $169.00, I offered 140-169 out the door; the main guy refused, I looked online and it was $174.00 brand new at tractor supply, I question the guy if he would reconsider, his reply: tractor supply is 30 min away.
Needless to say I am not going back to a place that wants to sell you an item that not only is used and has no warranty but it is also insulting towards a repeat customer.
By the way I drove to ace hardware and I found a brand new sthil chainsaw for 159.00 + tax, on sale with 3 YEAR warranty and a full tank of gas+oil mix.
Bought a pistol on layaway, paid it off a month ago. Drove over from Fort Walton Beach and found that they had not run my background check. Three hours later, I’m still waiting for them to give me my pistol. They knew I paid for it, why didn’t they run the background check in the month they had between the time I paid it off and was able to pick it up?
