I hardly ever leave reviews BUT Rich at Arizona Music hooked it up in a MAJOR WAY. Best experience I’ve ever had at retail/resale gear store. Stop and shop HERE!
Thanks Neil !! High quality advice and knowledge as always.
Neil was great, he not only went above and beyond to make my guitar case work for me but he is also very professional and a pleasure to work with. Neil is definitely a credit to AZ Music Pro, the staff there is always ready to help with all of your music needs. Thank you, you guys are the best 🙂
This shop has a wide variety of instruments, and some beautiful violins that I was able to try out. The staff is very friendly and helpful there, and the shop is organized, clean, and spacious. Now to save up for that violin!
I’ve been in this store many times. Sometimes I found what I was looking for and some not. But I have never been treated with anything but concern for what I needed. “Just a suggestion to all folks that don’t like the way people look at them. Take a look in the mirror at what they see.”
Thank you Neil!! This guy totally hooked up the hardware. Then actually took the time to explain to me, how to do it myself. Quality merch and inspiring customer service.
I Googled Guitar Center to get the phone number for a specific store and Arizona Pro showed up along the side of the listings. I looked at the reviews hoping to see the one I left a month or so ago but it was not there, in fact there was but two poor reviews among 10 ones. I had given Arizona Pro chances since that last one I left but they have continued to support my opinion that they are incompetent and impatient and most disturbing RUDE. I wish there were another place in Flagstaff to shop for the items I need with the technical knowledge to go with it.The owner, when asked about the difference between a midi keyboard and midi controller told me it didn’t matter; he went on to say they had both. Don’t be fooled about all the positive reviews. I’ve realized that companies do edit their reviews, They must use some bad I suppose but they take the best of the bad and use good one and create others. Be your own judge. I usually buy strings from them when I can’t get them from GC in a reasonable amount of time. Good luck to you!
I had drove an hour there to get a Single guitar string for my new guitar, I had also had problems with the amp I bought from them not working with my mic to amp transducer I also bought from them. So I bought a new transducer with no regards from them on the fact that the other didn’t work as if I was the one putting them out. I ended up spending 50$ on cords etc. and when I had said I didnt know how to put on the string and asked for help I was told to go on YouTube and that I should just go home and figure it out from an extremely unhelpful short tempered demeanored guy named “Jack”. I’m disappointed I decided to try and make this place my go to for equipment.
This store has the worst service I’ve ever experienced the employees are rude and unhelpful, their selection of guitars under 600 dollars is awful for people who can’t afford to pay their same rent for a guitar. Even getting your guitar restrung is 30 bucks. The only reason this business is still open is because it’s the only guitar store in flagstaff and has no competition. If you really want a good deal, drive down to Phoenix and go to guitar center.

These are great guys over there they always take excellent care of me
Ever since I got introduced to Sam Ash store back in 2018 when I purchased my first Taylor guitar, I have been coming back again and again. Gentlemen like Ramon, Michael and Sam (Just to name a few) are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Always willing to help you and never pressure you into purchasing something.
My transaction was handled professionally, quick and was a very fair offer for my drum kit. Thankful for being able to do business with Sam Ash – Glendale store, very helpful staff. I would recommend this store to anyone wanting to sell or purchase.
We were able to find what we were looking for and on the budget we had set out.
Good people, pretty good selection for a B market store. I’d shop there again! I bought a used tom soft bag in great condition for really good price. Thank you!
Organized well.
Staff was very helpful.
Staff was very helpful.
I have my first visit to Sam Ash today, and unfortunately, was not impressed. I was in the store around 15 minutes, walked past at least four store associates, and not one of them spoke or offered to sell me anything. I needed a new interface, three mics, a new set of headphones, and all kinds of wires for my home studio; could’ve easily spent over $1000 in the store… Only there were no associates walking around that I could find. The only one I saw at the counter where the microphones and interfaces for around 10 minutes and watched the only associate in that section talk to one lady (I think had already checked out), and even take the time to look at her pictures on her phone. I understand a great customer service experience comes with a certain level of conversation. However with my experience, I had no conversation with no associate in the store . I saw the microphones I wanted, so I was really disappointed… On my way out a man says “thank you for coming in” and that was was my entire experience. The store was pretty empty, so I felt ignored. Luckily Music & Arts had the same stuff.
Good luck getting any sort of help with the lack of associates they have on the floor. Ive been there at slow hours and peak hours and sadly, the wait time for any service is long. I would definitely NOT recommend their guitar repair services. The wait time is LONG and the luthier is rude. I called a few days after I left my guitar there, and he did not ask for my slip number, the make of my guitar, or even my name! He cut me off and just said it would be done in TWO weeks. I finally get the ok to pick it up and ot took 15 minutes of me standing around at the repair desk for any of their workers (one of which i was in front of but he had no tag or uniform so i thought he was a customer messing with a guitar). He gave me my guitar, dashed off to the register and charged me without mentioning any of the luthier notes or going through what I was being charged for. The quality of the repair was decent enough, but the uneasiness of having my guitar hostage for that long was definitely not cool.
They have decent equipment and their prices are on par with their competitors. Art and Eddie are amazing associates that have helped me in the past. They were knowledgeable, charismatic, and caring of my needs as a customer and guitarist. Sadly, it seems like they are the only 2 competent associates in this location. Skip unless its your only choice.
Over priced and customer assistance is lacking the knowledge necessary to help customers.
