My 6 year old son has been coming here for about a year. Mrs Butler is extremely patient and works so well with him. I would recommend Monarch Music Academy for anyone interested in learning how to read music and play piano.

Fletcher Music has a very helpful and knowlegable staff. I started several years ago with the 6 lessons for $20. That was the best decision I have made! Perhaps it’s not for everyone. But investing $20 to try it out..hey you can’t go wrong. Stick with it, and you won’t regret it. You will learn, grow, improve memory, co coordination and make new friends along the way. I highly reccommend Fletcher Music Center of Port Charlotte!!

Terrible experience with the very experienced sales woman. I would not recommend this store for experienced or novice beginners unless there is someone welcoming to potential customers. Interesting how there was no one playing in the store and she made it clear that we were not welcome to play any of the instruments. She also wasn’t helpful as she didn’t recommend another store for us to visit to where we would be welcome and she could possibly receive a referral fee.
I was very disappointed with the way we treated at this store today (2-16-19). My 10 year old son, who plays the piano and knows how to treat an instrument, wanted to hear the sound of an organ. The lady came out and very rudely told him not to touch the organs. We explained that he plays piano, he’s not just a kid playing around, and she told us that he couldn’t touch the organ it was for demonstrations only. I would never shop here as the service was rude and judgemental.

poor service
Sadly this store is like most local music stores: over priced and having little options to choose from. The brands they have to offer are limited and they have almost none of the premier drum brands you come to expect from a good drum store. Their cymbal selection is dismal and their drumsticks are outrageous like $10-15 a pair! Since it’s the one of the only stores that’s local I’ve tried to be supportive, but I have run in to major issues. I first bought 500 dollars worth of high end SKB drum cases (which took almost 2 months for them to order) when they finally arrived the lining of the bass and tom case ripped in about 1 month. I was told by the owner they had a full warranty, but after nearly 2 months of the cases being at the factory for repair I was informed I had to pay $250 worth of shipping to get my “full warranty” “brand new cases” back! This was the owner of Ace Drums telling me this! I have multiple other stories of Ace Drum’s inability to do good, truthful, and fair business. I am a professional drummer who has played for 11 years and with over 100 different bands, and I make my entire living off of music! I would not suggest spending any of your hard earned money here!

Great place to buy LP records, but the selection of 45’s are really low. Wish you’d get better inventory and ones with picture sleeves, than those ones on the shelf. Very friendly service. Good location off Tamiami Trail and good parking.

We loved the atmosphere in this place, even though we were probably the youngest ones there. The soft, live music playing, the old black and white movies that eventually became a football game, and the food was fantastic. The only thing I really didn’t like was the lemonade. Our server was pretty good. I loved the sign in the bathroom. Super funny. Overall, great experience!
Bakery goods are excellent, but the restaurant is difficult… Called on Dec. 30th at 1:30pm to place a dinner order for pick up at 5:00pm. Was told we can’t place a dinner order until after 4:00. Really? Write down the order, then look at it after 4:00pm!! We tried calling from 4:00pm until 5:30 – they NEVER answered the phone. Went in to eat. They were super surprised that the phone wasn’t working. Dining room had a mediocre band playing way too loud, relocated to the patio where smokers joined us every 5 minutes, so we collected our food and took it home. Food was just OK. I tried calling again at 8:00pm and they still hadn’t resolved their phone issues. There are too many good Italian restaurants in town… go somewhere where they value their customers.
I was so excited to bring my aunts here today to prove even in Florida we have the best itailian pastry. This is my second time in there and it took me a minute to look at all the goodies. There was one other customer and she was taking her time as well. So not busy at all. The attitude from 2 of 3 of the employees was ridiculous. As if having to serve customers was interrupting their day. They were beyond rude. My aunt had to step outside, because of how rude they were being and even my husband was like wow I have never been to a place that was just rude for no reason. At this point if this establishment treats their customers like this, I will never return. There were 3 staff in there. There was no excuse for they way they treated the customers in there today at 1:30pm. Absolutely none.
Worst service. Food not very good paid 14.00 for a Bacon cheeseburger with one pc. of bacon. Very disappointed.

I loved that there is clear representation for LGBT people, social justice, and so many kinds of fiction and non fiction books! While not very large, copperfish had something for everyone. R event best sellers and those a bit older are on tables throughout the store. Around the perimeter are fiction, nonfiction and rare books. There are also bargain books and book-related paraphernalia.
Prices are low to moderate, making a quick stop to browse or pick up a last minute book a positive thing. The woman at the counter was most helpful. I was looking for a local paddling book and they actually had two different ones.
Get a book for those few rainy or cold days, you will not be disappointed.

Most of these reviews are about buying pottery. I agree and have bought gorgeous pieces. While I was there, though, I decided to take lessons. I am reviewing the lessons. They are an excellent value. Jack and Suzanne are right there to teach and help at all levels of skills, without being restrictive (as in we are doing this today). You get to make whatever YOU want to make that is within your skill level. I am so pleased with the pieces I was able to make, almost immediately, with their excellent guidance. What a rewarding hobby thanks to great teachers!

Elite was amazing! Dave replied quickly to any inquiry we had, the forms were great to make sure that we covered everything we needed and he called and let us know if/when we missed anything. He was early and ready to go on the day of the event and had everything ready to go. The reception was amazing and he did a great job of blending the music and requests to keep everyone entertained and dancing. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for an event. Typical coffee shop the coffee was good but also expensive I set outside cause the weather’s niweathers nice they have the most uncomfortable chairs outside though but I think it’s the same ones they have on the inside side not sure on that if you’re gonna stay for a while bring a cushion
This location can go either way with drinks. Sometimes they make it perfect , and unfortunately like the drink I got tonight was horrible.
The service was horrible, when we were ordering the person on the other side was rude and when we got our drinks the lady didn’t want to give a straws to us, when we needed one. Not only that on top of it when I got my venti drink it was filled up 3/4 of the cup.
Literally one of the worst locations I’ve ever been to. After the very first visit it’s been poor experiences every single time thereafter. Their Frappuccinos are very poorly made and pretty much are water. The staff has never gotten one single of our coffees correctly. And have even gotten four out of four of our items messed up before and as we drove her away frustrated the cashier started to apologize and the manager looked at the cashier and said don’t. After spending $11 today on two coffees one tall one Grande and receiving another poorly made pathetic excuse for a Starbucks coffee this is my last visit. What’s the saying fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I think after the 10 try I’ve given enough chances
11/3 gave them another try and this is worst, MORE than the last GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

I found out about this place through a cigar buddy of mine who lives in the area near this haunt. It’s a great, classy and friendly hangout for those who don’t want to just “hang out” at a bar. Both ownership and the professional wait-staff greet everyone before the door even closes behind them as they enter. In fact, those of you who remember the sitcom “Cheers” also remember how everyone in the place greeted Norm when he entered the establishment. Well, Tom remembers to say hello to all his regulars in “cheers-like” delivery. During our visit with them, my wife and I watched as Tom said hello to each regular (approximately 5 people) that entered the bar. It was hysterical! It was like I was on the set of Cheers! lol.
Their humidor is well-stocked with all the favorites, but unlike other cigar bars, they carry a good assortment of “boutique” cigars as well. The bar itself wraps around like a horseshoe right in the middle of the lounge and there is PLENTY of seating space there if you like stools. For those of you who prefer the thick, rich feel of top-grain leather ensconcing you in the comfort of an overstuffed chair or love-seat, Fedora has that too! Even the ventilation system is superior to most other lounges so you can entertain non-cigar smokers without them feeling uncomfortable.
Although limited to wine and beer, selections of both are significant and staff’s knowledge of these elixirs is just as keen as their knowledge of fine cigars! The great sounds of jazz can be heard through your entire experience here which simply IMHO rounds out spending time here in near flawless perfection.
I look forward to coming back as soon as I can!

Pleasant environment inside. But it’s located in a shabby little shopping center with a bail bondsman next door. Outside parking is narrow and very difficult to navigate in and out of.
Friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Good selection of cigars. The only place in town to be.
You expect a cigar bar to be smoky, but not stifling due to no apparent ventilation. Staff ignored us repeatedly as they served customers at tables each side of us, who purchased their cigars, but, staff was helpful in choosing wine. Band was excellent but cannot recommend for return visit due to staff service.

Purchased a Sigma guitar, which I was told was a subsidiary of Martin this was Saturday. On Monday wanted to return because the strings were to big and hurt my fingers. I was told to “suck it up” even after I told them I wanted to return for a different guitar. Anyway, on Monday I went to another guitar store where I wanted them to restring the guitar. I was told that restringing the guitar would be a waste of money since it was warped, the strings were raised to far above the fret board that’s why it was causing me pain and their was an issue with the bridge. I ended up having to spend more money on a new guitar. Satisfied with the new guitar purchased from a different store. Just a side note. Sigma guitars made after 2007 and doesn’t possess the Martin stamp on the guitar are not made, authorized or approved by Martin guitars. This bit of information I got when I called Martin guitars in Pennsylvania. So the guitar I was sold was a knock off brand manufactured in Indonesia even tho I was told it was authentic. Also, it couldn’t have been a new guitar since it was warped. So upset I wasted 283.00 on garbage. Will never do business again.
Got charged almost $100 for a killswitch and new volume pot installation.
1. The killswitch worked less when I got it back.
2. Volume pot didn’t even work, you turn it all the way down and you can still hear the guitar but with 100x more buzzing.
3. The audio went out not even a week later so I let it sit in a corner for several months.
I only just recently looked at the insides to see what they did and I can’t believe I paid as much as I did. The guys who own it are really nice and I’ve hungout around there a few times. But do NOT get repairs done there.
Bad rating for never answering their phone. Would be interested in making a purchase if ya’ll would pick up the phone and let me know if you have item in stock…. Guess ill call guitar center.. Tried your store with the number on your website 3 times. The last time I let it ring probably 100 times. Your website said you were open.
