With online retailers taking over, it’s increasingly difficult to find locally owned shops like this. This is a family business and they provide excellent customer service, doing everything they can to provide the best experience. They stock some great gear-Orange amps, schecter guitars, mxr pedals… It’s worth checking out! They also do repairs, string changes, and lessons!

I have just purchased an Ecclesia T 370 Model from Mary.
You can’t help but be impressed by the effort she puts into making certain the Instrument is designed for the organist. I my case I deal with a cervical fusion limiting travel in my neck, and a previously repaired shoulder that still causes some discomfort.
She is adjusting the keyboards so the Great is on the bottom, followed by the Swell, and the Choir on the upper keyboard. An adjustable music rack is being added for neck comfort, and Rocker tabs are being used, so I don’t have to reach as high as I would with draw knobs.
She is in consultation with the President of Johannus US regarding speaker placement in my home.
Interestingly, my wife, who was attuned to the sound I was seeking sat in the middle of the church when I started to play the organ.
Not one word passed between us.
I placed a Trumpet tab on and played on note. She said to herself, I think he is going to buy it. I tried another tab and she said. He’s definitely going to buy it.
I have been playing a Pipe Organ in my home for over 40 years, so this is a giant leap for me. This is the first instrument I have played that meets the tonal qualities I have been looking for.
We drove from the central Oregon coast to Davis, California to try this Organ. I was not disappointed. Mary drove for 4 hours each way to meet me at the church. She is a very special person.

its a great store but there’s a lot of bad stuff that happened to me when i was shopping there. The first thing was that it took almost 45 dollars to restring and tune my violin. i wasn’t too mad about that part but the thing that made me do the 3 star was that after 2 days, its out of tune. when i took my violin back from the shop, it seemed like the strings were really stiff and were extremely tight.
I dropped my guitar (floyd rose trem) off on a Wednesday to be re-strung, cleaned, and to have the intonation checked/fixed if needed for an upcoming show. The guy at the front desk told me they were busy, but that he would have it done by the following Monday (and said he would try to get it done even sooner). He quoted me $50-$60. All good so far.
Monday rolled around and I hadn’t heard from them, so I called myself. He said the guitar wasn’t done, but that it would definitely be done by Wednesday, and that he would call me. No call. I went in Thursday to pick it up. The guitar hadn’t been touched. The delay would have been acceptable if they just kept me updated, but after the runaround, I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Added an extra star because service was at least friendly, if anything. Go somewhere else for repairs/maintenance.
They quite literally stole my guitar they just kept it..i sent my guiter in their shop and they ended up just keeping it, this happened with a friend of mine and her banjo they will steal your instrument be careful
Last Thursday, I bought some strings and asked them to tune and polish it. I was told to come back Saturday, and when I did, they had not even touched the guitar. Without offering an apology, I was told to come back Monday. When I picked it up they did not offer any apology, again. This business does not card about their customers.

One of my favorite places to record shop in the bay area. I chatted with the owners and told them my record tastes. They actually called me a month later when they got my artist in! Now that’s what I call customer service.
Decent selection and friendly guy behind the counter. A nice local shop.
Very welcoming, intimate location. Good but incomplete selection.
Got a lot of records I could see for size of store I admit and some CDs. Unfortunately, didn’t find anything that stood out. The guy that owned it was very nice and knowledgeable. Might check back again.

Update time. We have been coming to Hayward music studio for almost 3 years now. Most nights are either 4-5 stars for equipment working and getting the room we want. The service has always been spectacular and this is our preferred spot in the Bay area. Prices are reasonable, you can bring in your own food, they have a bar for alcohol and there is a surprise gift after you finish paying. Support this local business.

This is a fun karaoke club with a private suite for you and your party, they have vending machines with snacks and drinks and a beer bar with 6 dollar beers.
Very very clean. Music choices are from YouTube.
Went on a not busy day, just walked in without a reservation. $35 per hour for a small room, prices vary on room size. Had pretty lights and comfy seating, but was surprised to see it was a streaming YouTube karaoke rather than the old fashioned click and play type on a machine I am searching for. Definitely should try it out for yourself at least once.
room number 1 needs speaker updates. we had a blown speaker but still was fun.
The owner didn’t give me and my friends a price when we asked. He ignored the question, and then showed us to our room. Wish he would have gave us a bigger room for 19 people. Other than that we had a blast.
They changed the layout and went to using youtube. It’s annoying to try and locate karaoke version on youtube and you have to watch advertisements… why should I pay for that.

I will not chop them up, but I will not return to this establishment for business.. the customer service is under par, though they may show great customer service to some, it seems they’re selective with who they serve… When I walked in, they were reluctant to answer my questions and help me. I am a guitarist, and I figured that instead of traveling a distance to Guitar Center for services, which has way better service in my honest opinion, I’ll try and stop here for my needs. This is the third time coming here and same results… Long story short, I will not be coming back to this establishment.
I probably have ever so slightly more insight into this store than the average person as I used to work there, but it was years ago under the previous owner. We were known as the store that had everything and great customer service to boot, but with the highest prices in town. However, unknown to many people, if you had a legit deal we would ALWAYS beat it. Not match it – BEAT it. I hadn’t been in there for YEARS and was ready to make a purchase so I took a bona fide deal to them to see if they wanted my business. Short and sweet – they didn’t want it.
I had a solid deal for right at $200 and they actually asked for $900 for THE SAME THING! The salesperson got upset that I laughed in his face at the $900 (heck, it’s ONLY 4 1/2 TIMES MORE than the other legit deal, why would I laugh at him?) and I told him in no uncertain terms that he richly deserved to be ridiculed with pricing like that, after which I was quite abruptly asked to leave the store, never to return.
If you’ve got much more money than brains, I salute you for shopping at Music Unlimited, otherwise, it’s hard to imagine that you could choose a worse place to do business.

Great local music store with ukuleles from beginner to performance grade solid wood Ohana and Kala brands. Cool vintage guitars and repair experts. Retro turntables, world music instruments. Go there; buy local I bought 2 nice ukes. They do trade up.
I’ve enjoyed each visit and was assisted with my needs with courtesy and professional experienced staff.
Great little gem of a place. Go get an instrument and learn to play it.

Great staff and a great selection of various musical knick knacks. Highly recommended for student musicians or those more acquainted with their instruments. Their specialties are guitars but they cover all types of instruments in lessons and repairs.
I like the MA & Pop shop feel, really friendly help, and music lessons taught at the store.

We’ve heard good things about this place so we thought of giving it a try. We went there to rent an instrument but they said the one they have is being repaired. We asked for a return call once it becomes available so we can get it. Five days later and still no call so we decided to call them. Then they said it’s no longer available as someone else already got it.
Brought a bass with a maxed out truss rod to see if they could put a spacer in it. Their repair guy called me a few days later telling me that the truss rod was fine, and that it just needed a proper setup. I go get it and in the shop it looked fine with the action a bit high but okay, but when I got home I discovered that it was tuned half tone down, so no wonder it was fine: less tension, less bow. When properly tuned it still had the problem. So, don’t trust your repairs or setups to this store.

I went here for a new headset unit installation. Purchased the service from Amazon, then went to the shop to get it installed. They’re quite friendly and very accommodating. There was some confusion about the cable placement, but I understand since Android Auto installation isn’t that common yet.
I went back and ask if they can configure the right cable, and they did it right away. Took me more than a few hours to get it done, but I’m happy with the result.
Stopped by there yesterday and got a stereo installed in my car. It sounds awesome and it wasn’t very expensive either!! I actually didn’t even have an appointment set up I just walked in and they were more then happy to help install it. Quick service too!! Thanks again for the upgrade I love it ✌️
Came here to get my car hooked up with sound system and cameras. They did financing for me with 3 months no interest. My pathfinder sound amazing with nice bass and amps. Highly recommended

They are a total rip off, had them install a viper alarm and replace the stock stereo system. I brought a Kenwood deck from Crutchfield and let them sll me the speakers, the seakers had to have been used because one of them had a tweeter that sounds blown and its just hooked up to a deck also there seems to be a short in one the rear speakers. I no longer live in the area otherwise I would be up in their grill! don’t waste you time or money , only reason I went to them is because Amazon uses them as an installation spot, wish I could give them minus stars!

I just had the most wonderful experience here. I absolutely adore who was working there. She gave me such an amazing deal it is honestly not even fair. I will remember her kindness for a long time to come and will pay it forward as often as possible.
Have some cool things that I think everybody will like, just watch the ages of the kids.
We just donated most of my grandma’s items to Hidden Treasure because she passed away last year. We couldn’t keep much, because we live out of state. Jennifer works there, and she was so nice to accept our entire u-haul truck full of stuff, so maybe go shopping and see if you like anything! There’s a really cute end table I wanted to keep with black metal legs and mosaic floral for the top. It looks like it could be used as an outdoor table, but my grandma kept it inside.
Some other things we just donated include numerous Golden Gate Fields glassware, bags, and other swag, like umbrellas. We also donated some Christmas ornaments and two Christmas trees. There’s some pottery, and one was signed on the bottom by the artist. We donated lots of purses, some unused. Other things include: 3 wall clocks, lots of stuffed animals, a few crystal vases, a PartyLite crystal candle holder, a few books, several old music tapes, a few VHS tapes, lots of baseball hats, and lots of other things, including a barely-used Kirby vacuum with all its attachments.
In October, we donated all of my grandma’s kitchen stuff and lots of other things, which included a lot of as-seen-on-TV stuff. Some of these things may be gone by now, but we donated a coffee maker, a couple of TVs, and some furniture, such as a couple of TV stands, and lots of other things.
I hope you find what you need! I’d be happy knowing her things could find a new home.
Corner has less product , on corner it’s a little less stuff but it’s better quality, and the lady that works there is a very nice and cool lady,
First time here and not the last. Has 3 isles filled with treasures. And a display counter or two. The lady was chill and everything I BOUGHT was a dollar. Got some things I been hunting for. That’s why I like thrift stores. Staff was helpful . Located behind jack in the crack. Can’t wait to see what they get during the holidays.
Bought a stereo unit with carplay functionality for my sister and needed an install. She took it here and got it installed, which was done very quickly! It looked great and everything worked installed except for the carplay. She took it back and I showed them the wiring diagram that was specific to the adapter we needed for her car. They finished the job that same day. Everything works great, and the price was very reasonable. Good folks to get your stereo work done by!
They were able to make a custom pocket in place of a shorted out 6 disc CD player that was giving an electric light show with the key out of the ignition. So much happier now knowing it is no longer drawing my battery. Many thanks!

Got me bumping with the new sub on my f150 truck only problem was the fitment measurement of the box that they helped me choice didn’t tuck in under the back seat I will have to buy another box to fix the issue. Overall the audio sounds good!!

I’m super happy I found a rental instrument/ music shop in Pleasanton. It’s a cute mom and pop store. It’s a pretty popular place for locals and parents who wanna rent instruments for their kids. It gets pretty busy.. so be prepared to wait for help from someone, esp when it’s school season. The location is convenient. There’s music lessons here as well.
Zero star. I was there with my child. I believe it’s the owner’s son that I spoke with. Pure sarcasm. Was very sarcastic towards me in-front of another customer. Staff was much more respectful and responsive in answering to our inquiries. He could just answered us properly instead he was very rude.
I thought this place was better around this area. Now I found out that they are very greedy. I rented a flute for the whole school year. As the school ends, I returned on the same day when my billing cycle starts. Spoke to the owner who answered my phone as well. Apparently, I was auto charged around 5:30am in the morning but I returned the instrument at 3pm. Though they got the instrument back, he told me that he won’t refund for the fact that I was late for few hours and still charged for the whole month. It doesn’t sound fair to me at all. I would think twice before I go to this store again.
We have been standing in line for at least 15-20 mins. The guy behind the counter is talking and chatting about when he was in high school, showing the customer different damaged violins, and literally taking forever. I can tell that the gentlemen behind the counter are super friendly and customer oriented, but there is a long line. We have all been waiting forever!!!
