What more can I say…its Walmart! LOVE the hours open til 11pm
Crowded
Good store to stock up the vittles
Best place in Parker, AZ.
Always love Wally world, but a 2am!
Lines to check out were extremely long and the cashiers extremely few! Plenty of outside help but all employees we spoke with were complaining! I will shop elsewhere except for pharmacy needs. The pharmacy was very friendly and compliant.
Small store, not enough product for the busy season.
This stores prices are marked incorrectly. We get over charged on something almost every trip.
The pharmacy is great 5 stars for it, but having one individual that rolls her eyes at me because I couldn’t hear her is unacceptable. Sorry masks on and plexiglass between us and over head noises it was very difficult to hear.
She needs some training in customer service, or find a new job.

I love!!! I can always get the best movies at the lowest prices with Redbox and to choose when you get to return them is also a plus. They always email you when you buy and when you return. And they give you deals through text! I always use them.
Movies are great

Always helpful and they assist my Son with all his questions and guide him I’m the right direction…future musician coming soon. Thanks to Sam ash
Nice staff
Hands down best music store in AZ
I went in to buy my 6 year old daughter a guitar for her guitar class and everyone was really friendly except the guitar salesman. I went around 7:45 pm and I guess the guys shift ended at 8 cause he was really annoyed with every question I asked him. Great store but bad salesperson.
They have a really great selection of a whole range of music stuff at good pricing and the staff there are really friendly would really recommend anyone to go here if your looking to buy any music gear
Huge store with a variety of instruments for sale as well as supplies. They sometimes have open mic nights and they have a guitar room where you can check out all the guitars and try them out, ranging from inexpensive student guitars to many thousands of dollars and all in between.
Over priced and customer assistance is lacking the knowledge necessary to help customers.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Staff is very rude. I complained to the manager, who lied regarding staffs behavior when speaking to me. I have never been treated so rudely in any store. They lost a customer for life.
Very limited stock and prices were much higher then guitar center or musician friend
6. Sand Bar
Address: 31404 W Riverside Dr, Parker, AZ 85344 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Samantha is the best! We go here for tacos every Tuesday
Awesome place always makes sure your good and make sure you make it home safe
This place is amazing! The food produced from Jay and the gigantic smoker is second to none. The entire staff was very inviting, environment was great and the band was really good aswell. Perfect place to unwind after a long week
Friendly little biker/dive bar
Its ok
Ok
Came in for dinner and half the menu wasn’t available and then one of the items they said was not available ended up being placed in their hot case after we placed our order. They also weren’t able to make my patty melt with the right bread. Very disappointed in the food here. Will not return.
Yuck
The worst meatball sandwich ever.
7. John’s Corner Music Shop
Address: 8680 AZ-69, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
These guys are full of information and do awesome repair work. Recommended.
Best music shop in town I love these guys
Great place. Great people!
Low quality gear that is way over priced.
wouldn’t give it even one star! I just went in to grab some guitar strings and was never once acknowledged the whole time I was there. Not even a greeting. needless to say I walked out. Not sure what the deal is in this town but I have yet to encounter any sort of professionalism with the businesses here!!!
8. Soundroom
Address: 3050 N Windsong Dr Suite#103, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Great small shop. I bought my first guitar from this place. Jay even gave us picks on the house.
Great music shop!
Awesome little shop. Just got some strings. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks again soundroom.
It’s okay , inside the Mall , didn’t have what I was looking for .
Great store… decent prices. Went in for a used classical guitar and came out with a nice one. Came with case even. Added an American -made humidifier, works well. Smaller place, but has the important things. Recommend highly
It’s okay place kind of small
Burned by this store over a Reverb purchase. I paid $450 total for a mini french horn they advertised as in “excellent” condition. When I recieved the horn I started noticing that the 3rd valve doesn’t close and open all the way disrupting airflow when pressing and depressing. Even after oiling the valve, there was no change. This horn is non-functional to a player. 1st the store decieded to deny any return or exchange to address the issue immediately. Then I tried to contact Reverb customer care and tried demonstrating this in a video to them. Both the seller and Reverb responded with a guilty until proven innocent skepticism that left me stuck with an unplayable horn. It took a lot of hassle and time away from normal living dealing with both of them. I would advise anyone not to buy a brass or woodwind instrument from this store unless you can inspect it first. Either they don’t play the instrument themselve, or they knowingly sold an unplayable instrument not caring.
I have played horn (F horn) semi-professionally for over 22 years in wind bands, orchestras, and jazz ensembles. I also have extensive knowlege of major brands and makers and designs of horns and am qualified to advise other players.
Sux
So, I went here for the first time and the girl behind the counter was NO help. She was too busy to get up and show me where the item I was looking for was. I will not be going back.
9. Music & Arts
Address: 5350 W Bell Rd #132, Glendale, AZ 85308 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Been purchasing music there for the last 10 years at least and I am very happy with the discount for teachers!
Staff is knowledgeable, interested in you and your experience in music . Very attentive to the needs of customers
Great experience. I browsed myself, then asked for some advice and assistance. The newer employee was very knowledgeable and asked questions to pinpoint what I might be looking for. He made excellent suggestions and answered my range of questions. He even stooped his music language down to my level of understanding. Great deal on my purchase and I look forward to returning.
Thank you MUSIC & ARTS.
1 request, perhaps a searchable database of your inventory would assist in locating various items, rather than “browse to locate” with the customer.
I was there picking up a instrument for my grandson The associate in the store was very helpful an courteous. For me it was a good experience
It has a small, mostly student level selection of guitars and amps. I asked the salesman a direct question about whether he carried a specific product, and he just kept rolling. So I looked around for a second, and split.
This place is a scam, they were expecting me to pay for 3 months of sessions when the music teacher confirmed that she barely had 3 sessions with me , very poorly co-ordinated customer service and shady business.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. My son left the bells at school over the summer. They wanted $250.00 in lost instrument fees and wouldn’t take the instrument back until the equipment was with it or the fees were paid. I explained that I am now out of state and have no contact with my son’s mom and have very little chance of getting the missing parts back but would try if they would accept it as is. They wouldn’t! They said if I tried to leave it, they would call the police. I left if anyway! I will never use this place or recommend them to anyone else and will make it a life mission to hurt their business.
Beware slime ball company no courtesy calls .letting you know the instrument is possibly at school and can still be charging your credit card never again do business .Slime Ball
10. Tommy Rocks
Address: 110 Main St, Jerome, AZ 86331 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
GREAT GUY! Stopped in and talked with Tommy while browsing Jerome stores. He let me and my (ex) wife talk his ear off about our 17 year old son’s interest in playing guitar. He also provided us with advice and ideas for our son’s interest and improvement. Lots of great stories from his many years of performing. Cool store; cool guy.
I first time visiting. Why haven’t I seen this shop before? I shall return. Thanks
Tommy is the nicest guy!! We chatted all things music and ukes for about 45 minutes. He is so helpful and knowledgeable. I bought the kala ubass from him and got a great deal!!! You don’t want to miss this uke shop!!! A real treat and lots of good quality ukes at great prices.
An awesome rock and roll memorabilia shop in historic Jerome Arizona…kind of hard to find tho.
Dude man. Stick to some normal operating hours. I’ve passed through Jerome twice now and you haven’t been opened when you said you were supposed to be. It’s 10:30 am now says your supposed to be open on google. Sorry for the poor review but really wanna check out your store
11. River Island Market
Address: 5225 AZ-95, Parker, AZ 85344 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Staff is beyond amazing. Best pizza in town and you can’t beat the price kids love it. Definitely a place to stop.
Friendly helpful well stacked fair priced clean and suprisingly good food at the deli. Drop your kickstand there. I will be evertime I ride that way.
Great food. Nice store selection and fair prices.
Nice little market with an assortment of items. Do check the price of gas at the pump…. It doesn’t always match the price posted on the gas sign.
Got gas here was less than in town.
Went over there to see the London bridge walk by the river looked at all the boats parked at The river’s edge play music dancing and having fun had a great time
I’m sure all the reviews are true, but we were disappointed when getting gas. Price outside on road sign said $3.34 per gallon, but the pump said $3.48 per gallon. Please fix this inconsistency, thank you.
The people who took our order didn’t wear masks or weren’t very covid minded when taking our order or serving the food…. We were a bit concerned about whether it was safe to eat what we ordered…?
Items were expensive dbl prices
12. Atomic Guitar Works
Address: 8550 N 91st Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
The guitar I had them work on now plays like I always should have; it feels like home. Outstanding job guys!
1st time here. Customer Service & guitar knowledge Fantastic! Only place we will have our guitars serviced for now on!
Always outstanding! Best doods in the business.
Small but impressive guitar shop. Nice selection of after market parts and strings.
A great place to get a custom made guitar
You have been warned. They talked like they knew the product very well to build trust. They overpromised and underdelivered when I got my guitar back and still wanted to make excuses???, the work I asked for was clearly stated in the receipt.
I took a mid-level Martin to them with a crack. They humidified it to where the crack closed. They told me it was repaired but to be sure and keep it humidified. The fact is they humidified and the crack closed they didn’t do the repair but they charged me for it.
The guy who answered the phone was a jerk. I took my guitar to someone else.
I bought a charvel jake e lee model that supposedly was built by someone at atomic guitars and it was the worst thing I’ve ever played, held or experienced. Everything about it was off from the neck pocket to the fingerboard and frets. I was told that it was built by the guys at atomic guitar and I hope that wasn’t the case at all.
13. Cienega Springs
Address: Arizona 85344 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
14. Milano Music
Address: 38 W Main St, Mesa, AZ 85201 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Fun store with a great selection. There are so many instruments and song books! We have rented our childrens instruments here for years and it has always been a great experience. We recently needed a repair on one of our rentals and the person in the repair shop helped us get a replacement right away. He was so nice and helpful! Thank you Milano Music!
Amazing local store with history and amazing deals
Milano’s os full service. Lots of variety of instruments and a large professional service and repair department. They adjusted the fret board on my guitar and installed new strings. Great service!
Needed a quick item, walked in, asked for help and was out the door with what I needed in less than 10 minutes – farther than my closest music store, but definitely my preference to drive and get what I need!
8/24/2016 @ 5:00 pm
Been on the Death hold 23 minutes.
Been answered by 3 different associates, all who are “checking” to see if they have a
Tuba available for rent. Not one has returned.
:/ advised the last associate I had 2 other associates checking with no answer……and he put me on hold!
Minute #29 – Kind of still here to see how long it will take to get an answer.
Minute #34 – hold Music has stopped I think I’m Done. :/
Minute #37 – Hi y’all still here. Not to many options for Tuba rentals so I’m holding.
Minute #39 – Hung up and called back, got answering machine telling me they SHOULD be open.
Minute #40 – One more try, Yay Kailen answered in “Instrument Rentals” She saved this review and earned
Them 2 stars more than I was going to give. Very knowledgable, knew the inventory, explained
the rental program and invited me to come down and pick one out that would best fit my 10
year old.
I live in Peoria but just might make the drive to visit Kailen, closer competitor has only one in stock and
It’s a bit beat up.
Great place not the friendliest to my friend trying to trade a guitar in
The pianos are poor quality here, and not worth the price. I was going to purchase a piano here, I was very pregnant and didn’t want to shop around, but was treated poorly when I asked some questions. Ended up spending a little more for a great quality piano elsewhere. Glad how it turned out.
RENTER BEWARE! Their “equity program” is worth Bupkes, Nada, Nothing. Only if your child elects to play with the same instrument when you terminate the contract. The instrument you “buy” with your equity is NOT SALEABLE.
They have charged my card for my brothers Instrument twice even after I told them to take my card info off the account. Obviously they lied about doing so because they just today charged me again. They can’t keep their files in order and because of them my bank account is all screwed up.
15. The Blue Note
Address: 3250 Gateway Blvd #262, Prescott, AZ 86303 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Hands down the best place to go. I live down in the valley but every time we visit the area we stop by. If you need anything guitar related you have to go here. Every other store said my guitar was unplayable and impossible to fix. I bought it here and he made it play better than when it was new. The prices are just barely higher than places like guitar center but he does a free setup on every instrument that would cost about a hundred dollars anywhere else. The owner is very friendly and is happy to tell you everything you could possibly know about any instrument at the store. He is extremely good at what he does and has even made guitars for people like Alice Cooper and David Bowie. Just the perfect place to buy or look for an instrument. I will never take my guitars anywhere else.
Nice selection of guitars, basses, keyboards and amps. Good prices and nice owner.
It was awesome. There are historical guitars there he made. Alice Cooper’s guitarist he made a rifle guitar. Lots of get products and instruments. Diffently a place to go visit in Prescott.
Listed as open on Monday. Drove from Spring Valley to find them closed. Need to correct this.
The owner is a pretty cool guy. Very knowledgeable on everything in the store. He has also made guitars for some of the biggest names in music history.
The owner of this establishment is beyond rude, he didn’t answer any questions (which I believe is because he has 0 knowledge of anything pertaining to his little business) and he over prices everything. I understand it’s a local business so prices will be higher but his USED banged up instruments are at least 70% higher than anywhere else for the same NEW instruments which is unreasonable.
I’ll be shopping at a honest local music shop.
Thank You
16. Shady Grove Records
Address: 209 E Beale St, Kingman, AZ 86401 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Great collection in a well organized shop. Kingman jem that’s worth the detour!
Awesome place
Brings back memories
Good finds
Good buy’s
Great record shop on Route 66, very friendly, great prices, and lots of music nostalgia. A hidden gem to be sure.
Need records this the place
Nice to have a record store in Kingman. I was a bit surprised by the prices, a little high, but I suppose that’s to be expected in today’s economy. Large selection of Vinyl and cds. The store was clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. If you still enjoy tangible music, check it out
Stumble across this record store while traveling thru Kingman Arizona yes “A RECORD STORE” this was so awesome made my day !!! I picked up a few 80’s classic l.p.’s (albums) and a 12” single by soft cell this store has hard to find funk/ soul , real country music classics some bitchin’ classic and hard rock, some cool jazz just to give you an idea of what You can pick up here the owner is super friendly and his prices are just right and I will be back again ….
Not really anything there but some old school large size old style records and used things like CDs and guitars.
You should post when your on vacation so people don’t drive 45 miles for no reason…
Was not open during their posted business hours. I drove an hour to get there and they weren’t open
17. Brindley’s Music Center
Address: 836 N Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Gabe is an AMAZING technician. I was planning to replace my stage piano because no one could fix it. Gabe got it playing great. He wasn’t sure if he could fix another keyboard because he couldn’t get the parts. Whatever he did as an alternative works like a charm.
My son’s alto sax came apart on a Friday, I took it in on a Saturday. Jake worked on it, put it back together, shined it up and even remembered the reeds I needed to purchase. It was ready to go on Tuesday! Brindley’s is an awesome place for a non musical person like me to go because the staff always makes sure I understand what is needed.
Great shop! I didn’t even know it was here. Took my guitar in for a set up. Super friendly and knowledgeable… And can work with a Floyd Rose tremelo system… No easy task!
They are wonderful people and always take care of their customer by heart.
Fix it for the most part. Still feels as if the instrument is leaking from somewhere on the lower register. Still hard to push low notes without struggle.
Good music store for those looking for something specific…not much to look at for those who want to look around or window shop (especially for drum equip). Other than that, it’s a good local music shop. They used to make their own brand of drumsticks, which were GREAT, but last time I went they said they no longer make them. Bummer!
Called to inquire about an instrument. Owner laughed at my question and was extremely rude. He didn’t answer my questions, and refused to give any useful information.
I had heard so many good things about this place from other musicians, so my S/O and I decided to try it out. We needed our guitars set up, mine electric, hers acoustic. When we brought the guitars in, we were given a sort of turned up nose treatment when we revealed our guitars. Mine a Purple Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, and hers an older blue Ibanez acoustic. Granted our guitars weren’t the most expensive, but we both loved them dearly (Mine was an anniversary present from her, and hers was her first guitar ever). I explained to the gentleman behind the counter what was going on with my guitar (Dead fret on the high E, also needing a full set up, action lowered, set up with 10’s.). My S/O explained that hers needed a set up as well. We handed over our guitars, and left with confidence.
A few days later we picked our guitars up, and went home to check them out. It. Was. Terrible. They raised the action on my PRS so high that it was almost unplayable, and the gentleman who did the set up said that he did so to get rid of the aforementioned dead fret, even though I gave express permission to do whatever was necessary to solve the issue while keeping the action LOW. That could have meant a level, crown, polish, replacement etc. Anything to keep the action low. My girlfriends acoustic buzzed so terribly on every single fret on the top three strings after we took it in, she has resorted to buying a brand new acoustic, because this place left hers unplayable. Now most people might say ”well if they messed up, take it back and have them fix it” but believe me when I say that when we saw the condition of our instruments, I would NEVER trust them in the hands of this place again. I really wanted to like this place, but after the treatment we and our instruments received, we’ll go elsewhere. Please stay away for your own good.
Beware DO NOT RENT from them. They lied about insurance. They RENT beat up instruments then make you pay to fix them. Was told it would be $20 per repair then at register charged $25 per repair. Will never go back. Take my advise and take your business elsewhere
18. Acoustic Vibes Music
Address: 2070 E Southern Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
I’ve purchased electric guitars online from about three well known sites without worrying about tone. Since Gibson, Ibanez and Rickenbacker were consistent with the quality of their pick-ups, I felt relatively safe buying sight unseen or heard.
Buying a Martin HD-12-28 however without personally playing or hearing it was a major leap of faith and a first for me! In these Covid times, with shipping delays and product shortages, you can go without, if you hesitate………I’m so glad I trusted the professionalism shown by those at Acoustic Vibes Music in Tempe AZ. I love this guitar, it has tone that will smoke your eyelids! Thank you so much!! Dave MacFarlane
These guys did a fantastic job of getting my eight- year-old Takemine set-up to a better than factory spec set-up.The guitar plays better now than ever before. I am convinced that the set-up from the factory was not per spec. I really feel like I have a new guitar. I now want them to do the same on three other guitars I have. These techs really know what they are doing! I highly recommend their services!!!!
Very cool store – felt like I died and ended up in guitar heaven! In addition to the awesome guitars, the team working there is too notch. Very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. Really enjoyed my visit there and appreciated the work they did on my guitar.
Best acoustic guitar selection I’ve seen
Best music store in the area to peruse some of the best acoustic instruments by selected boutique and mainstream builders. The stock is priced between $3 and $10k but the reward for spending more is finding the equivalent of a Steinway (beautiful tone, resonance and playability) in a steel or nylon string guitar. Cheaper instruments are available, but comparing them to the better ones is motivation to indulge yourself or reward yourself for hard work in getting better. Better sound makes you play at a higher level. Check this small store out!
Nice acoustic design,
all acoustic guitars top shelf brands.
Good selection, but weird atmosphere and left me feeling unwelcome. One might think such a ‘high’ tier guitar store would offer a ‘high’ tier experience, but that wasn’t the case for me. When I first entered the building I was met by a few older customers and employees and got nothing but a sour face by everyone just by opening the door, no greeting, nothing- super awkward, everybody literally stopped talking to look at me with an irritated look, as if I had interrupted something. I then had to excuse myself past the small gathering of what looked like employees talking to customers that wouldn’t move just to get to the first guitar room. I then was greeted by a salesman who instead of letting me tell him what I’m looking for, proceeds to go into a shpeel on all the different Martin models, basically making me interrupt him to tell what I’m looking for. The salesman also told me HD28s don’t come with dot inlays yet here I am looking at older models with them all over the internet. There was nobody else browsing the store in the guitar sections. I was then told I could play guitars, but the adjacent rooms are used for things like Banjo, which made it so I couldn’t even hear the guitars I was trying to play because somebody was in there clawing away. I really don’t think I’ll be visiting again, regardless of the selection. I’ll spend thousands of dollars somewhere else that takes every customer seriously. I went to Milano music right after and was treated respectfully and seriously without hesitation, and I didn’t need to schedule a high-pressure sales pitch and waste an hour of my time.
Very unfortunate visit, coming in to try out and buy a steel string guitar. We were greeted with passive aggressiveness and a magazine thrown across the main entrance before entering the guitar room from the shop keeper, young guy. incredibly rude and 0 customer service.
Made the whole stay unpleasant.

19. The Music Store
Address: 2630 W Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
This music store provides excellent and quick service. Great instrument rental options.
We love the lessons with Tracey and we love the store! Solid business we are happy to support.
The instruments we have rental have been pretty worn but still work well and it is an OK deal for the price. Customer service is helpful and friendly. We have been pleased with our violin rental over this past year and will continue renting here into the next school year.
Great verify of sheet music and ukuleles and an awesome luthier.
Fui una vez a ver las guitars
DO NOT shop here, the employees are rude, the owner is rude, their selection sucks, not even half of what they had even a year ago. Quality has gone way down hill. It won’t be long till they’re gone.
“Jp” the owner looked right at me and said “no” to giving me a 10% teacher discount for an $11 red label string. Thanks bud.
Discriminated against me for having a disability.
20. Gray Dog Music
Address: 231 N Cortez St, Prescott, AZ 86301 , Cienega Springs , Arizona , United States
Great place to go to first . There probably going to have what you want , don’t waste your time going somewhere else . Give them a try , you’ll be glad you did .
I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years and I found the raddest guitar shop in Prescott, AZ. Gray Dog guitars is super cool and owner Addison made every visit an enjoyable experience! Super helpful and friendly vibe, top notch repair work with fantastic prices. Five Stars! Highly recommended
Sevice was great. Fast ,good price. Very friendly. Thank you for your help.
Its a nice store really small some prices are expensive but overall good store nice customer service
Great atmosphere and good service. The special of a day which was a beef salad was rather mediocre and tasteless.
Owner operator was extremely helpful to blind customer I was chauffeuring
It’s a nice store. But they only sell guitars and related supplies. The pedal selection was weak if I was looking for pedals I would go online. Pretty much zero music scene in Prescott anymore. They cater to trendoids in my opinion. The selection was a huge bummer for me nothing but acoustic guitars.
Gray Dog music is only good for when you need something in an emergency, otherwise there’s no point is paying those prices. Prices that you only realize are so high when you get all the way to the register since almost nothing in the store has a clearly marked price on it. You have to individually inquire for every item… Even there used equipment was priced similarly to buying it brand new elsewhere. To top it off the gentleman working the counter actually got short with me because I kept having to ask what all there stuff cost. Horrible experience would not recommend to my worst enemy.
Parking: The parking is the ONLY good thing about Grey Dog Music.
