I can’t applaud these guys/this shop enough! I had a lefty Gretsch that needed some tricky repair work done, and Rich/Kevin went above and beyond to troubleshoot and locate the issue. Got it back good as new! I’ve found myself a new shop for any future servicing needs! Icing on the cake was the pricing rate for their service was beyond reasonable! Thanks very much guys! – Albert 🙂
Found this place about 3 years ago and have practically been coming at least once a week sometimes up to 4 times a week. All the guys are very helpful and give great advice on how to approach and or fix any guitar problems I have ranging from soldering to fret work and even how to reglue a lifted bridge. Great team amazing guitars and equipment and 100% costumer service satisfactor . Thanks Fret House staff
They are professionals that know guitars and what can be done. They repaired my wife’s guitar and it is great. We talked about another guitar and received information different from what we received elsewhere. I checked with an old friend and found out that the Fret House gave us completely correct information and one of the people we talked to, who does repairs, is a well known guitar player/composer!
My wife wanted a new steel string guitar. We compared elsewhere and came to the Fret House and found greater variety of guitars and she was able to get exactly what she wanted which was not available elsewhere. We were treated like the most important customers. The new guitar has a great sound and she seems very happy. And I am happy because if there are future adjustments needed they are taken care of. Also we saved a lot!!!
Im lefty handed
Dropped off guitar on 11/3 – estimated day of completion 11/6. So it’s been roughly three weeks since I dropped off my acoustic guitar for what they said would be a simple 1″ crack repair, that the majority of the repair would be from the inside and that the top would not need any work.
“We’re working on your guitar in between other guitar repairs, but we’re not going to charge you”. WTF man! What kind of business are they running?
Went to pick up my guitar last week. Sure enough, they jacked up my guitar in the process of trying to repair it. This sucks!! Why couldnt they have been honest from the beginning. They have offered to replace it with a same model and I accepted the offer.
Early December – waiting on guitar. The manager claims it wil take up to 8 weeks for Godin/S&P to ship one from Canada. 8 weeks?
January – I have yet to receive a call with an update on the ETA of my replacement.
February – Still no call back from the manager. This is complete BS. DO NOT TRUST!
Misposted hours of operation – it’s very disappointing
very bad services! not honest

Passed by this store on the way to somewhere else and made a mental note to stop in on the way back. So glad I did what a beautiful and fun music store! Kyle helped me and let me ask a lot of questions. I wish I lived in the area as I’d like to take music lessons. Thank you Kyle!
A gem of a hidden store. I just happened to find this music store hidden in the corner of this shopping center.
Small store with surprisingly a variety of instruments from acoustic guitars to trombones. They have digital pianos (check out the Yamaha, really nice sounding), string instruments, a few electronic drum sets. If they don’t have it they can order it for you as well. Instruments are nicely priced and they have a payment plan I saw on the entrance door
The manager was super cool and helpful. I found out that this place is actually owned by Guitar Center as I was informed. Definitely check this place out if your in the area !
Friendly and welcoming staff. I went in for some replacement acoustic guitar string pegs, which they had, and also enjoyed looking at their nice selection of electric and acoustic guitars. Happy to give business to a smaller, local shop, when possible. Thanks!
This Glendora Ca. store was condensed with easy to view merchandise, polite staff. Some real bargains in written music. Fast easy shop.
Nice staff, very welcoming and helpful
Really good deal on my son’s instrument. The staff was helpful and polite. The instrument was also delivered to the store location within the time frame that was stated, everywhere else has been delayed.
The customer service I received at this store was fine given the circumstances. The review is for my overall experience ordering from Music and Arts.
I ordered two items that, according to the order page, were supposed to be shipped to this store and ready for pick up within 2-7 days. One item was ready the next day, but it took 3 weeks for the rest of my order to arrive. When I went to pick my order up, the first item was present, but the second item was not in its packaging. I waited three weeks for an empty bag.
If I had known that it would have taken three weeks to be disappointed, I would have rather have taken five minutes to look in the mirror.
About 5 years ago I brought a recorder in and asked for a thumb rest for it. Instead of ordering the $5 removable factory thumb rest which was made for that model, they installed an ill-fitting 3rd-party metal thumb rest with screws that are so long that they protrude inside the barrel, so that if the thumb rest were ever removed, it would leave holes in the barrel. Worse, they charged me $65 for this junky little metal piece and the 5 minutes of labor to install it. When I complained, they blew me off.
I will never go back there.
I see that they’ve been acquired by Music & Arts, which resulted in a name change, but it sounds like it’s still the same folks running the store, so my review will stand.
I had a flute and a piccolo repaired here. They didn’t do a good job. My piccolo was given back to me with hot glue strands hanging off of it and a small wooden piece wedged into a pad. When I complained about the piccolo, they simply clipped of the glue strands and handed it back. It was clear that they would not be able to make it better. I had to take the instruments to another shop to have them rerepaired. I won’t be back.

Long time distributor for my retail store. Good quality products and service.
The owner is incredibly rude and has no sense of customer service. You are better dealing with other wholesale distributors in the area who have great customer service and better pricing.

Such a great little store! It had all the classics and the lady behind the counter was super nice and friendly. I will definitely go there again when I outgrow my clothes!
Great vintage music selections. Current and new music merchant and paraphernalia.
Unique… fun… affordable… exciting…
Way cool store. Great prices.
This place is nice. A lot of records and band shirts. You need to go in with the state of mind that you will be sorting through records which is nice. You can go in and trade records. They offer new and used records. When I went the girl working the counter was VERY sweet and helpful. Definitely coming back.
I was able to find vinyl of my favorite artists and groups to start my first vinyl record collection for my wall,so I enjoyed my time
#TheBeachBoys,#MichealJackson
Went for record store day and they barely ordered enough records to satisfy the line they had before opening. I went in asking for the 4 different records which they told me they only ordered 40 or 10 copies of on the busiest day of the year! Then I went to the used vinyl section, for a record store was very lackluster. This is basically a tshirt store considering how big their shirt collection was compared to their vinyl collection.
Not much variety

A month ago I ordered a piano for my son in Spain. As the one they sent was lost (so I was told), they told me they had sent a second one and it would arrive 5 or 7 days later. 12 days have already passed! Now they don’t answer my messages and I’m afraid I just lost my money. I keep delaying this promise to my son. They don’t have any phone number for Spain, in their website, so I don’t know what to do. Am I supposed to call to this US store? 🙁

Joe Morton is an excellent instructor of guitar and ukulele. Highly recommend.
Great place to learn how to play a musical instrument
I have been bringing my daughter to Mikes guitar world for years. She is 14 and loves music. She has taken lessons from multiple teachers there over the years who have come and gone and we have absolutely loved every one of them. She currently takes lessons with Mike and Chrissa and they are both amazing teachers and mentors to her. She has also been a part of the band program and I can’t tell you how good it’s been for her. It has built up her confidence and built up her love of music and performing. She is a great musician for her age. I highly recommend taking lessons there! Plus they are fairly inexpensive compared to other places in the area.

Best guitar buying experience I’ve ever had! The Caucasian, glasses-wearing employee and the young pierced man were a pleasure to work with. They listened intently to my buying preferences and made constructive suggestions which steered me to my ideal guitar. They let me put my fingerprints on any guitar I wanted, even the ones behind glass in the high-end room.
Even when I come in just to kick the tires, these guys are helpful, engaging and professional. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. You’ve earned my business for life.
Called the store Micheal answered the phone , helped me figure out what cable would work for my mixer for the gig I was playing that day, he found it and I picked it up right away! Great customer service! Thanks again Micheal!
Normally pretty solid, but right now inventory is low.
Decent customer service
A bit loud but nice. Good representation of guitar makers, tons of accessories.
I went to this store looking to test out a couple guitars and an amp I hadn’t played before but was thinking about buying. I played for about 30 or 40 minutes testing out a few different things and most of the staff were cool. However, there is a blonde guy there, didn’t catch his name, that is pushy and rude. He will annoy you to death, basically until you leave. Because of this guy, I would never buy my amp from here or any guitar from here. Go to Sam Ash instead. Much better service.
I used to come here all the time. This Guitar Center was actually where I first bought my guitar. They used to have great customer service, however now they’ve turned into a bunch of rude employees, specifically the caucasian male with the glasses (I assume the manager). I do not recommend anyone coming here, they ignore your questions, give rude remarks, and if your just looking around to see if anything catches your eyes, they will ask you if you are buying anything and if not to please leave. Seriously screw this place, I hope they either change management, or close down.
online..especial.they are **not** EXISTING lile by lie and lie
