Thru the past decade.. maybe longer… I have found Route 1 Guitars to be an incredible store for any needs I have musically. The do all my repairs and setups… always perfect. They also help me to buy and sell in my range of interests in instruments, effects and amplifiers. They never fail and always go the extra mile to be of service. Not to mention that they have the most versatile teachers that can get you playing whatever you desire and also knowing what you are doing musically. Dare I say for the best prices around? The staff is always bending over backwards doing their very best to please the customer. They have not only become amazing friends but like a home away from home. Route 1 Guitars ROCKS! You can’t go wrong here.
Great place! Great instructors! Lots of great guitars for purchase!
What a gem !
The energy was wonderful!
And good prices
Nice staff
Knowledgeable staff, in addition to guitars, keyboards, etc… They have school instrument rentals
Call before visiting the store. They say they’re open at 12:30 but don’t show up for hours after the fact. I get it, they’re a small operation, but wasting your local customer’s time doesn’t breed repeat customers. I needed to be in the store three times. All three times, my time was wasted because the store wasn’t open during their own published times of operation. Just rent your kid’s instrument from somewhere else.
Absolute joke of a store.
Sent my guitar (Fender Jazzmaster) for connection electric issue. After roughly a week and a half guitar was done just for it to have the same issue. What a disappointment

I brought my LP to Greg to have a nut replaced and new strings installed. He did a beauful job cutting and fitting a new bone nut to replace the original which had broken and set the guitar up beautifully-it has never sounded this good or played this well. I am planning on having greg set up my PRS next and would recommend him highly.
Greg at In-Tune Guitar Woks did the nearly impossible for me – he created a truly “wide neck” Jazz archtop by converting a 7 string instrument into a 6 string one! I have been searching for a wide neck Jazz archtop for nearly two years, but no such beast can be found in the wild (or in any store, whether brick and mortar or online – such a thing just doesn’t exist). I am really tall and I have huge hands and long fingers, and “off the rack” guitars are too small for me. Greg was able to convert a beautiful Eastman Jazz Elite 7 string archtop into a “wide neck” 6 string by carefully replacing the nut with a custom spaced one, reslotting the bridge and realigning the tailpiece, as well as make other really minute and subtle alterations to the guitar. There is no “template” or “playbook” for this and the standard luthier tools are not designed for it, so Greg did all of this wonderful work by meticulous hand, and the result is spectacular! Greg took the extra time to consult with me along the way, while we made set-up choices that are unique to such a conversion. Nearly two years of frustration vanished instantly when I receive my new guitar. This was a unique project, and Greg surpassed all expectations. I highly recommend him and his service, In-Tune Guitar Works, for your next project or set-up.

good service. picked up some gear I ordered. Tried out some guitars. went with kustom cab and head.
Peter the technician was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable and repaired our kids guitar on the same day with full set and strings. Where do they do that??? Guitar Center in Orange, CT. Josh was also very knowledgeable about instruments and had very informative insights to help along with the Guitar lessons Staff. They were helpful and pleasant. Gold⭐ Star for Guitar Center ❤❤
Like their stuff. Glad that they’re still there.
Staff is really nice, but the inventory is nowhere near as good as what other Guitar Centers and Sam Ash have to offer.
Not Happy with associate’s knowledge of products
Guitar center is the epitome of poor customer service. Sorry I am not Jimi Hendrix and I have questions about the stuff I am buying.

Hot tip (It’s worked on two separate occasions for me and, by extension, others standing around wondering if anyone works here)- Take whatever you need be it a return, purchase, or simple human contact to the back where the live sound, keys, and other digital items live. There, hidden, is a helpful employee.
