This place is a little hidden Gem! Definitely some interesting and unique items, that can be used as is or upcycled/improved upon for decor.
Many charming things. Somewhat pricey. Above all, be satisfied BEFORE YOU LEAVE WITH YOUR PURCHASE. When I bought a charming letter-opener, that came apart the first time I used it, the owner SNEERED “its an antique, what did you expect”. And, I was a LOCAL. This was after several earlier purchases of several items. The owner didn’t care at all about goodwill. So Again, BE CERTAIN what you buy is FUNCTIONAL, or you’re likely to be sneered at. I am turned off by gratuitous rudeness, so, I’m never going back.
3. The Didgeridoo Store – ONLINE ONLY
Address: 49522 Rd 426, Oakhurst, CA 93644 , Coarsegold , California , United States
I ordered a slider didgeridoo a little over a week ago, and it arrived in broken condition. I called the store to get instructions on how to repair it myself, as it is expensive to ship a giant box to and from Alaska a million times, and they sent me a new one. A+ professionalism from the didgeridoo store.
Most of their business is done online but if you call and make an appointment you can stop by. I called and talked to Grahm and made an appointment on a Monday. My wife and I drove up and met with Grahm and he spent a good 45 min to and hour telling us all about didgeridoos and playing different ones to show us how each sounded. We picked out an absolutely beautiful one made in Australia by aboriginals and couldn’t be happier!
Haven’t been here yet but definitely gonna check it out!!
4. Coarsegold Village Thrift Shoppe
Address: 35300 CA-41, Coarsegold, CA 93614 , Coarsegold , California , United States
I don’t typically write reviews for businesses but this particular place I had to. I visited here with my 7 year old son, we are from the bay area and came here to check stuff out. The ladies that work here were so friendly and welcoming and gave us great deals on everything, they gave us lots of back to school clothes and supplies for my son to start the school year for almost nothing when I had mentioned we had not made it to school shopping yet. I left this place with clothes for me, my husband, and my son as well as other stuff around the house. They have such a great variety of things and the cheapest prices I have ever seen in a thrift store, even better deals than goodwill! Thank you to the two ladies that helped me and my son shop!
Nice selection of goods. Something for everyone. Clean store with articles display well and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
I used to shop here every weekend. Never again will step foot in here. They have new owners and have drastically increased their prices. This is a small community of people, many of who are out of of work. Walked in and the jeans they used to have priced at $3 that I frequently bought for my niece are now priced at $40!! In a thrift store! That’s more than even Goodwill or Salvation Army and they are notorious for high prices.
Price gouging your neighbors during a pandemic is absolutely sickening. Recommend not supporting this shop.

I really love this Antique store because it has a unique stuff etc. even it’s really far from where i leave and even it’s not really know, but finally I found the best Antique store that I never been before and it also has a good price really love it!
Fabulous finds and the owner is helpful and friendly…we always find some little treasure here
Awesome as usual. Thanks Gary for being so kind
Got some cool items, good if you like old things. However, pretty much everything here is only decorative. If you like old shovel heads and such then sure, but other than that there’s nothing spectacular
Found a couple rusty things for projects. Always good to deal with.
Interesting stuff, fun place, but we didn’t see anything to buy.
Some cool antique selections, but very overpriced unfortunately.
So the gentleman that stepped out to watch me and my husband walk around without greeting us mind you, was very rude, I tried making conversation he blatantly ignored me, I felt as though he did not wanna Interact with me and my husband. I have an assumption as to why but I’ll keep that to myself and the stuff that I did happen to get a good look at it was extremely overpriced do yourself a favor don’t stop here you’re wasting your time
No longer in business
6. Coarsegold Historic Village
Address: 35300 CA-41 #204, Coarsegold, CA 93614 , Coarsegold , California , United States
Love this place!! Don’t just drive by!! You must check this place out! Great little shops & great people running them! Definitely try the freeze dried candies. Amazing!!
Lots of parking behind the shops
Parking attendants are very rude
I love it when they have all the vendors out there.
Muy hermoso lugar .
Only 2 shops open when I went on a Tuesday.
Stopped by to have my grandson gold pan. It’s not there. There are fish in the area where gold panning used to be. 95% of the shops were already closed
7. Yosemite Lakes Music School
Address: 28420 Yosemite Springs Pkwy suite h, Coarsegold, CA 93614 , Coarsegold , California , United States
Good selection of Staples and necessities, appropriate pricing for the area and convenience, helpful staff
Love the people and running for a quick trip from my home
They have delicious chinese chicken salad!
Closes early but has good chicken and lots of stuff
The fried chicken breast was very good.
If you are drinving to the Yosemite Valley don’t lose your opportunity to stop at this place to get a piece chicken fried.
LOVE the fried chicken. Hidden jem in Coarsegold!
Very expensive. The store smells weird all the time and has bad vibes. The owner harassed my mother following her around and telling her she stole something and needed to check her purse when she never did anything. Never shopping here again, save yourself and go to the new Dollar General down the road.
Price is high, and marked down items are not reflected in the cashier. Waste of time to have them corrected it.
My elderly family member received the most demeaning cashier service here today, on a fixed income and uses EBT…she whom is over 70yrs old was called “you people”, when she presented the EBT card to pay, apparently you have to let the cashier know you are using this mode of payment before its rung up. When she presented the card to pay, the cashier said “you people are supposed to tell me when your going to use your food stamps”. Terrible to say the least.
10. River Road Studios
Address: 30704 Rd 400, Coarsegold, CA 93614 , Coarsegold , California , United States
This place is heaven on earth! I could go back tomorrow
Very friendly employees
Great selection with affordable prices
Good people and prices. Need help in refilling shelves
I love it! Its pretty much a one stop shop place!
Fully loaded with supply staffs are friendly strongly recommended
I live in Coarsegold… we are so blessed to have a local Dollar General…. But…. The store is a constant mess. You can’t shop the isles are full… products are all over the floor and there are not enough employees to fix the mess…..if you can’t keep the store stocked you should address this problem…. It has continued since opening
Consistently out of stock and slow to check out- it’s a roll of the dice here.
Busy store, good for party stuff, not need more cashiers !
