Sooo awesome, you guys have the best guitar strings ever! Thank you so much for helping me restring and tune my guitar, and thanks for all the tips and tricks for doing it all on my own for next time
Neil was great, he not only went above and beyond to make my guitar case work for me but he is also very professional and a pleasure to work with. Neil is definitely a credit to AZ Music Pro, the staff there is always ready to help with all of your music needs. Thank you, you guys are the best 🙂
Neil from the service department was an amazing help today. I brought a new guitar that had some fret buzz and immediately he knew what the problem was and fixed it. He also took the time to explain what was wrong and what he did to fix it. A great guy who I will definitely be going to for future repairs. The rest of the workers at AMP were also very kind and helpful.

Thank you Neil!! This guy totally hooked up the hardware. Then actually took the time to explain to me, how to do it myself. Quality merch and inspiring customer service.
Brought a PRS in to have the intonation adjusted. Quoted me one price, and upon picking it up, they charged an additional $15, and nobody could answer why. They said the “luthier” (and I use that term lightly) would call me and tell me why the price was more. That never happened. Upon getting the guitar home, the strings were set so low they were absolutely unplayable. Fret buzz on every note. The intonation was off on all six strings. And the worst part is one of my bridge screws was lost and replaced with a screw that doesn’t match. Complete waste of money. First and last time they get my business. Sub standard work, and poor customer service.
To follow up… Neil called me several times to follow up and make things right. I missed the call each time but he left messages stating he would correct the problems. Unfortunately I’ve moved away from the area so unable to take him up on his offer, but it is much appreciated. He was willing to go out of his way to make it right for me.
I had drove an hour there to get a Single guitar string for my new guitar, I had also had problems with the amp I bought from them not working with my mic to amp transducer I also bought from them. So I bought a new transducer with no regards from them on the fact that the other didn’t work as if I was the one putting them out. I ended up spending 50$ on cords etc. and when I had said I didnt know how to put on the string and asked for help I was told to go on YouTube and that I should just go home and figure it out from an extremely unhelpful short tempered demeanored guy named “Jack”. I’m disappointed I decided to try and make this place my go to for equipment.
I’ve played mandolin for over 20 years and am seriously looking into buying a tenor banjo. They had two. But they wouldn’t let me play them with a pick, I guess because they’re concerned about somehow damaging the instrument with one(???). I’ve never damaged an instrument with a plectrum and don’t really know how one would do such a thing. I can’t assess the instrument if you won’t even let me play it properly. I’ll look elsewhere and don’t plan on going back. Pretty aggravating experience.
Idk if it’s just me, or what, but when I walked in there, they ignored me almost the whole time, I was looking to buy a guitar and when I started playing one, I played like, one riff and the guy came up and said “it just sounds like you’re here to play thats it” while other people are jamming their hearts out, I gave him the guitar and thought “why is he letting the other people play and not me”, so I just brushed it off and just wanted to buy picks instead, because the experience, I didn’t want to buy a guitar from there, so I went to buy picks, I was using credit card, and he told me “I’m sorry but there’s a $10 limit for credit cards”, so by the time he said that I just walked out, pretty SUS

Custom Sounds is one of those rare Guitar Shops where you feel instantly at home and welcomed the moment you walk in. Staff is always friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Their attention to customers both new, old, veteran, or novice is impeccable and it is refreshing to to see that level of respect and encouragement to all musicians.
The store is laid out very nicely and is always kept orderly, clean, and humid so that all of their instruments stay in excellent shape. I have bought several instruments from Custom Sounds over the years and always have my guitars serviced by Ryan or one of the skilled luthiers he has on staff. They do great work and it seems that Ryan makes a point to hire people who are nothing but exceptional and passionate about what they do.
This is an excellent local establishment.
Ryan at Solstice was recommended to me by a friend to give me 40 year old mandolin some new life. Ryan did an awesome job and I’ll definitely bring more instruments his way.
I talked to Ryan and made an appointment. He did a setup on my new bass guitar for me. Very professional, honest, and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. It’s a relief to know there is someone local I can trust. I will be returning for some custom work. Can’t wait!
Very helpful..
Good place good service

Got a big face crack repaired and the pro tuneup. The crack repair was better than I could have hoped for and the tuneup has my guitar playing better than when I first got it. Ryan was super communicative and got the work done for $100 less than he estimated. 100% will recommend to anybody and everybody.
Beautiful handmade guitars. Sleek design and great sound.
Ryan might as well be a plek machine. It’s borderline magic what he can do with your instrument. Just as importantly, he genuinely cares about your needs and treats you with respect. I can’t recommend this shop highly enough for your repair and setup needs.

Phenomenal store! Attentive service! Great products!
One of the coolest sound shops i have ever visited in my existence! Wonderful experience and the owner is an absolute vocalist! He sat me and my partner down on the harp chairs for sound healing and man could he really knows how to work those instruments, he is very friendly with super interesting shop full of beautiful items.. at reasonable pricing if you understand the craftsmanship of most od those items. Hope to see you again one day and re visit such an amazing shop
Love this place! A truly unique store offering many sound healing instruments such as his line of monochords. If you’re lucky enough to meet the owner Kelly there, you are in for a treat. His passion and knowledge for the instruments and healing are vast. He turned our visit into quite an experience with an impromptu demo in his healing chair. Super amazing!! We also sat and exchanged a few stories and experiences that had us all laughing! I purchased a Sansula from him and can’t play it enough! If we could give him 10☆’s we would!!!
Alex has propelled me to the next level. His knowledge and expertise are a great help in my studies. I appreciate his professionalism and punctuality. He always seems to show up with a positive attitude. Thanks Alex!
Alex is a great teacher! He is very patient and kind. My son loves having Alex as a teacher!
I consider myself so fortunate to have been under the guidance of Alex in the study of Classical Guitar since 2017.
His positivity, calm demeanor, and thoughtful approach always make my lessons enjoyable and productive. His extensive knowledge of classical guitar repertoire, combined with his ability to adapt it to my current skill level has been a key to my ongoing steady progress. His technical expertise, along with the personalized exercises he suggested, help me overcome specific challenges effectively. What truly stands out is his remarkable musical ear, which he skillfully uses to teach me to accomplish more than “just playing the right notes at the right time”.
I am so grateful to have such an outstanding teacher!

I sent Dig a new Martin guitar and he turned it into the most out of this world custom art piece. The design process was an easy collaboration. He sent me some design ideas and listened to my input. He’s an amazing talent. Took a few weeks and then he shipped the guitar to me. He even went out of his way to fix my mistake when I gave him the address with a typo in it. Usable art is a gift. Everyone that sees it compliments me on it. All the glory goes to the artist.
Thanks so much for the experience.
There is something intimately warm about a wood burned guitar. Scroll through the photos of his unique creations and you can see for yourself what amazing pieces of art Dig at Sacred Fire Arts creates. I have watched the process he’s gone through with many of his creations and they are true masterpieces. I am the proud caretaker of one and I can’t recommend it enough.
